Virtues, description, and recitation method of ZIYARAH OF HOLY PROPHET (S) AND THE HOLY as recorded in Shia traditions.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ آَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ

Peace be upon you, O Prophet and be upon you Allah's mercy

وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ آَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ الْمُرْسَلُ

and blessings. Peace be upon you, O missioned Prophet,

وَ الْوَصِيُّ الْمُرْتَضى

(and peace be upon you) O well-pleased successor (of the

وَ السَّيِّدَةُ الْكُبْرْى

Prophet), (and peace be upon you) O grand lady, (and peace

وَ السَّيِّدَةُ الزَّهْرَاَءُ

be upon you) O Luminous lady, (and peace be upon you) 0

وَ السَّبْطَانِ الْمُنْتَجَبَانِ

two elite grandsons (of the Prophet), (and peace be upon

وَ الْاَوْلَادُ الْاَعْلَامُ

وَ الْأُمَنَاءُ الْمُنْتَجَبُوْنَ

you) O descendants- the elite signs and the well-selected

جِئْتُ انْقِطَاعًا اِليْكُمْ

وَ اِلْى أَبَآئِكُمْ وَ وَلَدِكُمُ الْخَلَفِ

trustees. Here l am devoting myself to you, to your fathers,

عَلَى بَرَكَةِ الْحَقَّ

and to your son, the Successor on the blessing of the truth.

فَقَلْبِيْ لَكُمْ مُسَلَّمُ

وَ نُصْرَتِيْ لَكُمْ مُعَدَّةْ

My heart is thus subservient to you and my support is

حَثَّى يَحكُمَ اللهُ بِدِيْنِهِ

prepared for you until Allah will judge about His religion. l am

فَمَعَكُمْ مَعَكُمْ

لَا مَعَ عَدُوِّكُمْ

with you, verily with you but not with your enemy. l am one of

اِنَّي لَمِنَ الْقَائِلِيْنَ بِفَضْلِكُمْ

them who believe in your superiority and I acknowledge your

مُقِرُّ بِرَجْعَتِكُمْ

لَا أُنْكِرُ للهِ قُدْرَةً

Return. I never deny the allpowerfulness of Allah and l do not

وَ لَا اَزْعُمُ اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللهُ

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ ذِي الْمُلْكِ وَ الْمَلَكُوْتِ

claim but that which Allah wills. Glory be to Allah, Lord of

يُسَبِّحُ اللهَ بِآسْمَآئِهِ جَمِيْعُ خَلْقِهِ

kingdom and realm. All His creatures glorify Allah by His

وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَى اَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَ اَجْسَادِكُمْ

Names. Peace be upon your souls and your bodies. Peace

وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.

and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you all.
