Virtues, description, and recitation method of ZIYARAT OF IMAM ALI AL NAQI AND IMAM AL HASAN AL as recorded in Shia traditions.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا وَلِيِّي اللهِ
Up to the end of the aforesaid form of ziyarah. They then added: You may now offer four units of prayer next to the side of the Imam's head. Then, you may offer any other Prayers... etc.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا حَجَتَي اللهِ
Peace be upon both of you, O representatives of Allah. Peace be upon both of you, O Arguments of Allah (against His
ٱَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا نُورَي اللهِ فِيْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ
created beings). Peace be upon both of you, O Light of Allah
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا مَنْ بَدَا للهِ فِيْ شَأْنِكُمَا
in the darkness of the earth. Peace be upon both of you, 0
أَتَيْتُكُمَا زَآئِرًا
they about whom Allah has decided. I have come to you
عَارِفًا بِحَقَّكُمَا
visiting (your tombs), recognizing your right, showing enmity
مُعَادِيًا لِاعْدَائِكُمَا
towards your enemies, declaring loyalty to your loyalists,
مُوَالِيَا لِاَوْلِيَائِكُمَا
مُؤْمِنًا بِمَآ امَثْثُمَا بِهِ
كَافِرًا بِمَا كَفَرْتُمَا بِهِ
believing in that which you both believed in, disbelieving in all
مُحَقَّقًا لِمَا حَقَّقْتُمَا
that which you both disbelieved in, deeming right all that
مُنْطِلًا لِمَا أَبْطَلْتُمَا
which you deemed right, and deeming wrong all that which
آَسَاَلُ اللهَ رَبَّي وَ رَبَّكُمَا
you deemed wrong. I thus beseech Allah, my and your Lord,
آَنْ يَجْعَلَ حَظَّي مِنْ زِيَارَتِكُمَا
to decide that my rewards for my visit to you both to be His
الصَّلَاةَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِهِ
sending blessings upon Muhammad and his Household and
وَ آَنْ يَرْزُقَنِيْ مُرَافَقَتَكُمَا فِي الْجِنَانِ
to grant me the favor of accompanying you both in the
مَعَ أَبَآئِكُمَا الصَّالِحِيْنَ
gardens of Paradise with your righteous fathers. l also
وَ أَسْاَلَهُ اَنْ يُعْتِقَ رَقَبَتِيْ مِنَ النَّارِ
beseech Him to save me from Hellfire, to grant me your
وَ يَزْزُقَنِيْ شَفَاعَتَكُمَا وَ مُصَاحَبَتَكُمَا
وَ يُعَرِّفَ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَكُمَا
intercession and your company, to introduce me to you, not
وَ لَا يَسْلُبَنِي حُبَّكُمَا
to take out from my heart love for you both and for your
وَ حُبَّ أَبَآئِكُمَا الصَّالِحِيْنَ
righteous fathers at all, not to decide this time of my visit to
وَ اَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَهُ أَخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِكُمَا
وَ يَحْشُرَنِي مَعَكُمَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ بِرَحْمَتِهِ
you as the last, and to include me with your group in
اَللَهُمَّ اززُقْنِيْ حُبَّهُمَا
Paradise, out of His mercy. O Allah, (please do) grant me love
وَ تَوَفَّنِيْ عَلَى مِلَّتِهِمَا
for them and make me die following their faith. O Allah, curse
اَللَهُمّ الْعَنْ ظَالِمِي ألِ مُحَمَدِ حَقَّهُمْ وَ انْتَقِمْ مِنْهُمْ
and punish those who usurped the right of the Household of
اَللّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ مِنْهُمْ وَ الْأخِرِيْنَ
Muhammad wrongfully. O Allah, curse the past and the
وَ ضَاعِفْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعَذَابَ
coming generations of those people, apply to them many
وَ ابْلَغْ بِهِمْ وَ بِاشْيَاعِهِمْ
folds of torture, and send them, their fans, their adherents,
وَ مُحِبِّيْهِمْ وَ مُتَّبِعِيْهِمْ
and the followers to the deepest area of Hellfire. Verily, You
اَسْفَلَ دَرْكٍ مِنَ الْجَحِيْمِ
اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
have power over all things. O Allah, (please do) hasten the
اَللّهُمَّ عَجَّلْ فَرَجَ وَلِيِّكَ وَ ابْنَ وَلِيِّكَ
Relief of Your representative and the son of Your
وَ اجْعَل فَرَجَنَا مَعَ فَرَجِهِمْ [فَرَجِهِ]
representative and cause our relief to accompany his relief, 0
يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
most merciful of all those who show mercy.
وَيَخشُرَنِي مَعَاكُمَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ بِرَحْمَتِةِ
to include me with your group in Paradise, out of His mercy...
اَللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِى حَبَّهُمْ
O Allah, (please do) grant me love for them, and make me die
وَ تَوَفَّنِى عَلَى مِلَتِهِمْ...
