Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa HALI NA NAFASI YA AL ABBAS kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
يَا مَنْ رَاى العَبَاسَ كَرَّ عَلَى جَمَاهِيْرِ النَّقَدِ
O he who saw al- 'Abbas attacking the groups of the sheep-
Ewe uliyemuona Abbas akishambulia makundi ya kondoo.
وَ وَرَاهُ مِنْ اَبْنَآءِ حَيْدَرَ كُلِّ لَيْثِ ذِيْ لَبَدِ
like enemies followed by the sons of Haydar, who were as
kama maadui wakifuatwa na wana wa Haydar, ambao walikuwa kama
أُنْبِئُتُ اَنَّ ابْنِي أُصِيْبَ بِرَأْسِهِ مَقْطُوْعَ يَدِ
courageous as lions. I have been told that my son was
jasiri kama simba. Nimeambiwa kuwa mwanangu alikuwa
وَيْلِي عَلَى شِبْلِيْ اَمَالَ بِرَأْسِهِ ضَرْبُ الْعَمَدِ
stricken on the head and had his hand cut! Woe me for my young lion! Did the stroke of the iron post bow his head? Had
alipigwa kichwani na kukatwa mkono! Ole wangu mwana-simba! Je! mpigo wa nguzo ya chuma uliinamisha kichwa chake? Alikuwa
لَوْ كَانَ سَيْفُكَ فِيْ يَدَيْكَ لَمَا دَنَا مِنْهُ اَحَدٌ
his sword been in his hand, none could have ever approached him.

لَا تَدْعُوَنِّي وَيْكِ اُمَّ الْبَنِيْنَ تُذَكَّرِيْنِي بِلُيُوْثِ الْعَرِيْنِ
Do not call me Ummu'l-Banin (Mother of the sons). You will remind me of the lions of the lair. l had sons by whom l was
Msiniite Ummul-Banin (Mama wa wana). Utanikumbusha simba wa pangoni. Nilikuwa na wana ambao nilizaliwa nao
كَانَتْ بَنُوْنَ لِي أُدْغَى بِهِمْ وَ الْيَوْمَ اَصْبَحْتُ وَلَا مِنْ بَنِيْنَ
called, but today, I have no single son! They were four; like eagles on heights. They faced death by having their aorta cut
aliitwa, lakini leo, sina mwana mmoja! Walikuwa wanne; kama tai walio juu. Walikabiliwa na kifo kwa kukatwa aorta yao
أَرْبَعَةٌ مِثْلُ نُسُوْرِ الرُّبْى قَدْ وَاصَلُوا الْمَوْتَ بِقَطْعِ الْوَتِيْنِ
off The ravenous lances crowded on their bodies. So, all of
Mikuki mikali ilijaa kwenye miili yao. Kwa hivyo, yote
تَنَازَعَ الْخِرْصَانُ اَشلَاءَهُمْ فَكُلُّهُمْ اَمْسُى صَرِيْعًا طَعِيْنَ

يَا لَيْتَ شِعْرِي اَ كَمَا آَخْبَرُوْا بِانَّ عَبَاسًا قَطِيْعُ الْيَمِيْنِ
true what they have told that 'Abbas,s right hand was severed?
ni kweli walichokisema kwamba mkono wa kulia wa Abbas ulikatwa?
