Virtues, description, and recitation method of SECOND ZIYARAH; ZIYARAH OF AMINULLAH (THE TRUSTEE as recorded in Shia traditions.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَمِيْنَ اللهِ فِي اَرْضِهِ،

Imam al-Bagir ('a) then added, , "Indeed, any one of our adherents (Shi'ah) who pronounces these words at the tomb of Amir al-Mu'minin ('a) or the tomb of one of the lmams ('a) shall certainly have his prayer lifted up on a ladder of light, carrying the seal of the Holy Prophet's ring, and it shall be kept so until it will be delivered to the Riser from Muhammad's Household (namely, Imam al-Mahdi) who will receive the sayer of that prayer with good tidings, greetings,

وَ حُجَّتَةَ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ.

and honor." It is worth mentioning that the Ziyarah of Aminullah is considered one of the general forms of Ziyarah of Imam 'Ali ('a), one of the private forms of Ziyarah on the 'ld al-Ghadir Day, and one of the comprehensive forms of Ziyarah that can be said at all the shrines of the Holy Imams.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ.

Peace be upon you, O trustee of Allah on His lands and argument of Allah against His servants. Peace be upon you,

اَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ جَاهَدْتَ فِي اللهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِه،

O Commander of the Faithful. I bear witness that you strove

وَ عَمِلْتَ بِكِتَابِهِ،

for the sake of Allah as it ought to be striven, acted upon His

وَ اثْبَعْتَ سُنَنَ نَبِيِّهِ

Book, and followed the instructions of His Prophet, peace of

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اَلِهِ،

Allah be upon him and his Household, until Allah called you

حَثُّى دَعَاكَ اللهُ إلىٰ حِوَارِه،

فَقَبَضَكَ إِلَيْهِ بِاِخْتِيَارِه،

to be in His vicinity. So, He grasped you to Him by His will

وَ اَلْزَمَ اَعْدَائَكَ الْحُجَةَ،

and put your enemies under the claim although you have

مَعَ مَا لَكَ مِنَ الْحُجَجِ الْبَالِغَةِ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ.

inclusive claims against all of His creatures. O Allah, (please

اَللَّهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ نَفْسِىْ مُظمَيِنَّةَ بِقَدَرِكَ،

do) cause my soul to be fully tranquil with Your decrees,

رَاضِيَةً بِقَضَائِكَ،

satisfied with Your acts, fond of mentioning and praying to

مُؤْلعَةً بِذِكْرِكَ وَ دُعَآئِكَ،

مُحِبَّنَ لِصَفْوَةٍ ٱَوْلِيَآئِكَ،

You, bearing love for the choicest of Your intimate servants,

مَخْبُوْبَةَ فِى اَرْضِكَ وَ سَمَآئِكَ،

beloved in Your lands and heavens, steadfast against the

صَابِرَةً عَلَى نُزُوُل بَلَآئِكَ،

شَاكِرَةً لِفَوَاصِل نَعْمَائِكَ،

affliction of Your tribulations, thankful for Your graceful

ذَاكِرَةً لِسَوَابِغِ اَلائِكَ.

bounties, always bearing in mind Your incessant gifts,

مُشْتَاقَةَ اِلىٰ فَرْحَتِ لِقَائِكَ،

longing for the gladness of meeting You, supplied with piety

مُتَزَوِّدَةً التَقْوْى لِيَوْمِ جَزَآئِكَ،

for the day of Your rewarding, pursuing the morals of Your

مُسْتَنَّةَ بِسُنَنِ أَوْلِيَآئِكَ،

مُفَارِقَةَ لِٱخْلَاق اَعْدَآئِكَ،

intimate servants, quitting the conducts of Your enemies,

مَشْغُوْلَةَ عَنِ الدُّنْيَا بِحَمْدِكَ وَ ثَنَآئِكَ.

and distracted from this world by praising and thanking You.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ قُلُوْبَ الْمُخْبِتِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ وَالِهَتْ،

O Allah, the hearts of those humbling themselves to You are

وَ سُبْلَ الرَّاغِبِيْنَ إِلَيْكَ شَارِعَةٌ،

fascinated, the paths of those desiring for You are open, the

وَ اَعْلَامَ الْقَاصِدِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ وَاضِحَةُ،

sings of those directing to You are evident, the hearts of

وَ اَفْئِدَةَ الْعَارِفِيْنَ مِنْكَ فَازِعَةٌ،

those having recognition of You are resorting to You, the

وَ اَضوَاتَ الدَّاعِيْنَ اِلَيْكَ صَاعِدَةٌ،

voices of those beseeching You are mounting up to You, the

وَ اَبْوَابَ الْإِجَابَةِ لَهُمْ مُفَتَّحَةُ،

doors of responding to them are wide open, the prayer of him

وَ دَغْوَةَ مَنْ نَاجَاكَ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ،

who speaks to You confidentially is responded, the

وَ تَوْبَةَ مَنْ آَنَابَ اِلَيْكَ مَقْبُؤْلَةٌ،

repentance of him who turns to You modestly is admitted,

وَ عَبْرَةَ مَنْ بَكَى مِنْ خَوْفِكَ مَرْحُوْمَةٌ،

the tear of him who weeps on account of fear from You is

وَ الإِغَاثَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَغَاتَ بِكَ مَوْجُوْدَةٌ،

compassionated, the aid of him who seeks Your aid is

وَ الْاِعَانَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَعَانَ بِكَ مَبْذُوْلَةٌ،

available, the help of him who seeks Your help is obtainable,

وَ عِدَاتِكَ لِعِبَادِكَ مُنْجَزَةٌ،

Your promises to Your servants are fulfilled, the slips of him

وَ زَلَلَ مَنِ اسْتَقَالَكَ مُقَالَةْ،

who implore You to excuse him are forgivable, the deeds of

وَ اَعْمَالَ الْعَامِلِيْنَ لَدَيْكَ مَخفُوْظَةُ،

those who act for You are preserved, Your sustenance to the

وَ اَرْزَاقَكَ إِلَى الْخَلَائِقِ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ نَازِلَةْ،

creatures are descending from You, Your gifts for further

وَ عَوَائِدَ الْمَزِيْدِ اِلَيْهِمْ وَاصِلَةُ،

conferrals are reaching them, the sins of those imploring

وَ ذُنُوْبَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ مَغْفُوْرَةٌ،

Your forgiveness are forgiven, the requests ot Your creatures

وَ حَوَائِجِ خَلْقِكَ عِنْدَكَ مَقْضِيَّةٌ،

are granted by You, the prizes of those begging You are

وَ جَوَائِزَ السَّائِلِيْنَ عِنْدَكَ مُوَفَّرَةٌ،

offered, Your gifts for further conferrals are uninterrupted,

وَ عَوَائِدَ الْمَزِيْدِ مُتَوَاْتِرَةٌ،

وَ مَوَائِدَ الْمُسْتَطعِمِينَ مُعَدَّةً،

the dining tables for those seeking Your feeding are

وَ مَنَاهِلَ الظَّمَائِ مُثْرَعَةُ.

prepared, and the springs of quenching their thirst are

اَللَّهُمّ فَاسْتَجِبْ دُعَآئِن،

وَ اقْبَلْ ثَنَآئِن،

brimful. O Allah, (so) respond to my prayer, accept my

وَ اجْمَع بَيْنِى وَ بَيْنَ اَوْلِيَائِن،

thanksgiving for You, and join me to my masters, ll beseech

بِحَقَّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلِىٌّ

You] in the name of Muhammad, 'Ali, Fatimah, al-Hasan, and

وَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ،

اِنَّكَ وَلِىُّ نَعْمَآئِى،

al-Husayn. You are verily the only source of my boons, the

وَ مُنْتَهِى مُنَاىَ،

ultimate goal of my wishes, and the target of my hope in my

وَ غَايَةُ رَجَائِئ، فِى مُنْقَلَبِى وَ مَثْوَاىَ.

recourses and settlement.

أَنْتَ اِلْهِى وَ سَيَّدِىْ وَ مَؤْلَاىَ،

You are verily my God, Master, and Lord. (Please) forgive our

غفذْ لاهْ لتائذَ

وَ كُفَّ عَنَّا اَعْدَآئَنَا،

friend, prevent our enemies against us, distract them from

وَ اشْغَلُهُمْ عَنْ آَذَانَا،

harming us, give prevalence to the Word of Truth and make it

وَ اَظْهِرْ كَلِمَةَ الحَقَّ،

the supreme, and frustrate the word of falsehood and make it the lowliest. Verily, You have power over all things. Imam alBaqir ('a) then added, "Indeed, any one of our adherents (Shi'ah) who pronounces these words at the tomb of Amir al Mu'minin ('a) or the tomb of one of the Imams ('a) shall certainly have his prayer lifted up on a ladder of light,

وَ اجْعَلْهَا الْعُلْيَا،

carrying the seal of the Holy Prophet's ring, and it shall be kept so until it will be delivered to the Riser from Muhammad's Household (namely, Imam alMahdi) who will receive the sayer of that prayer with good tidings, greetings,

وَ اَدْحِضْ كَلِمَةَ الْبَاطِل،

and honor."

وَ اجْعَلْهَا السُّفْلِىٰ.

It is worth mentioning that the Ziyarah of Aminullah is considered one of the general forms of Ziyarah of Imam 'Ali ('a), one of the private forms of Ziyarah on the 'ld alGhadir Day, and one of the comprehensive forms of Ziyarah that can

اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْرٌ.

be said at all the shrines of the Holy Imams.
