Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa ZIARA YA KWANZA kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
اَللَهُمَّ إِنَّي خَرَجْتُ [تَوَجَّهْتُ] مِنْ مَنْزِلِي اَبْغِي فَضْلَكَ
You are recommended to pray Almighty Allah as earnestly as possible, because the place you are in is the zone of granting requests. You are also recommended to implore Almighty Allah for forgiveness as sincerely as possible, because the place you are in is the zone of forgiveness. You are recommended to beseech Almighty Allah for settling your needs as seriously as possible, because the place you are in is the zone of responding to the needs. O Allah, I leave my house seeking Your bounties and visiting
Unapendekezwa kumwomba Mwenyezi Mungu kwa bidii iwezekanavyo, kwa sababu mahali ulipo ni eneo la kutoa maombi. Pia unapendekezwa kumwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu msamaha kwa dhati iwezekanavyo, kwa sababu mahali ulipo ni eneo la msamaha. Unapendekezwa kumwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu kwa kutatua mahitaji yako kwa umakini iwezekanavyo, kwa sababu mahali ulipo ni eneo la kujibu mahitaji. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, ninaondoka nyumbani kwangu nikitafuta fadhila Zako na kuzuru
وَ ٱَزْوْرُ وَصِيَّ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمَا
the Viceroy of Your Prophet-peace of You be upon both of
Makamu wa Mtume Wako-amani iwe juu ya wote wawili
اَللَهُمَّ فَيَشِّرْ ذَلِكَ لِيْ
them. So, O Allah, (please do) make it easy for me, help me
yao. Basi, Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali unifanyie wepesi, nisaidie).
وَ سَبِّبِ الْمَزَارَ لَهُ
وَ اخْلُفْنِي فِي عَاقِبَتِيْ وَ حُزَانَتِيْ
pay this visit to him, and take my place, while l am away, in
mtembelee, na uchukue mahali pangu, nikiwa mbali, ndani
بِآَحسَنِ الْخِلَافَةِ
my affairs and possessions in the best manner of taking
mambo yangu na mali yangu kwa namna bora ya kuchukua
يَا ازحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
place. O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
mahali. Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wote wanao rehemu!
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ
All praise be to Allah. All glory be to Allah There is no god but
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu. Ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila
لَا اِلْهَ إِلْا اللهُ
Allah.
Mwenyezi Mungu.
اَللَهُ اَكْبَرُ اَللهُ اَكبَر
Allah is the Most Great. Allah is the Most Great. O worthiest
Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mkubwa. Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mkubwa. Ewe mstahiki zaidi
اَهْلُ [اَهْلَ] الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَ الْمَجْدِ وَ الْعَظَمَةِ
of exaltation, glorification, and grandeur. Allah is the Most
ya kuinuliwa, kutukuzwa, na ukuu. Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye mwingi
اللهُ اكْبَرُ آهْلُ [آهْلَ] التَّكْبِيْرِ وَ التَّقْدِيْسِ
Great. O worthiest of being deemed Great, of sanctification,
Kubwa. Ewe unayestahili kuhesabiwa kuwa Mkuu, wa kutakaswa,
وَ التَّسْبِيحِ وَ الْألَآءِ
of glorification, and of granting bounties. Allah is Greater
ya utukufu, na kutoa fadhila. Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mkubwa zaidi
اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ مِمَّا آَخَافٌ وَ اَخذَرُ
than what I fear and what I worry about. Allah is the Most

اللهُ اَكْبَرُ عِمَادِيْ وَ عَلَيْهِ اَتَوَكَّلُ
Great; He is my support and on Him do | rely. Allah is the
Kubwa; Yeye ndiye msaada wangu na juu yake fanyeni | tegemea. Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye
اللهُ اَكْبَرُ رَجَآئِي وَ اِلَيْهِ أُنِيْبُ
Most Great; He is my hope and to Him do l turn. O Allah, You
Kubwa Zaidi; Yeye ndiye tumaini langu na kwake nitarejea. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, Wewe
اَللَّهُمَّ اَنْتَ وَلِيّ نِعْمَتِيْ
are indeed the source of my blessings and You alone can
Hakika wewe ndiye chanzo cha baraka zangu na Wewe peke yako unaweza
وَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى طَلِبَتِيْ
تَعْلَمُ حَاجَتِيْ
respond to my request. You know my neediness and
jibu ombi langu. Unajua hitaji langu na
وَ مَا تَضْمِرُهُ هَوَاجِسُ الصُّدُوْرِ
whatever is concealed by the premonitions of hearts and the
yanayofichika kwa mawaidha ya nyoyo na
وَ خَوَاطِرُ التُّفُوْسِ
thoughts of inner selves. I therefore beseech You in the
mawazo ya nafsi ya ndani. Basi nakuomba katika
فَاساَلُكَ بِمُحَمَدِ الْمُضطَفَى
name of Muhammad, the Chosen Prophet, through whom
jina la Muhammad, Mtume Mteule, ambaye kupitia kwake
الَّذِي قَطَعْتَ بِهِ حُجَجَ الْمُخْتَجَيْنَ
You have stopped all the claims of those who may excuse
Umesimamisha madai yote ya wale ambao wanaweza kutoa udhuru
وَ عُذْرَ الْمُعْتَذِرِيْنَ
and the pretexts of those who may make apologies and
na visingizio vya wale wanaoweza kuomba msamaha na
وَ جَعَلْتَهُ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِيْنَ
whom You have decided to be mercy to the peoples, (1

اَنْ لَا تَخْرِمَنِي ثَوَابَ زِيَارَةِ وَلِيِّكَ
beseech You) not to deprive me of the rewards of my visiting

وَ أَخِيْ نَبِيَّكَ آَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ قَصْدَهُ
Your intimate servant, the brother of Your Prophet, and the Commander of the Believers and my directing to him, and to

وَ تَجْعَلَني مِنْ وَفْدِهِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
include me with the virtuous delegation to him and with his

وَ شِيْعَتِهِ الْمُتَقِيْنَ
pious adherents; (I beseech for that) in the name of Your

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلَى مَا اخْتَصَّني بِهِ
All praise be to Allah, for He has conferred upon me
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, kwani amenineemesha
مِنْ طِيْبِ المَوْلِدِ
exclusively the legitimacy of birth, and for He has bestowed
ila uhalali wa kuzaliwa, na kwa kuwa ametupa
وَ اسْتَخْلَصَنْنْ اِكْرَامًا بِهِ
مِنْ مُوَالَاةِ الْاَبْرَارِ
me, out of His honoring me, with the loyalty to the pious,
kwa kuniheshimu Kwake, kwa uaminifu kwa wachamungu,
وَ الْخِيَرَةِ الْاَعْلَامِ
immaculate representatives (of Him), the best of all, and the
wawakilishi safi (wake), bora kuliko wote, na
اَللَّهُمّ فَتَقَبَّلْ سَعْيِي اِلَيْكَ
most knowledgeable. O Allah, (please do) accept my seeking
mwenye ujuzi zaidi. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) ukubali matakwa yangu
وَ تَضَرُّعِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
for You and my earnest imploration in Your Presence and
kwa ajili Yako na dua yangu ya dhati katika Uwepo Wako na
وَ اغْفِزْ لِيَ الذُّنُوْبَ الَّتِيْ لَا تَخْفى عَلَيْكَ
(please do) forgive my sins that cannot be hidden from You.
(tafadhali unisamehe) dhambi zangu ambazo haziwezi kufichika Kwako.
اِنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ الْمَلِكُ الْغَفَّارُ.
Verily, You are Allah, the King, the All-forgiving.
Hakika Wewe ni Mwenyezi Mungu, Mfalme, Msamehevu.
آَيْهَا الرَّاكِبُ الْمُجِدُّ رُوَيْدًا بِقُلُوْبٍ تَقَلَّبَتْ فِي جَوَاهَا
O hasty driver, slow down! Have compassion on hearts that are turned over in tense emotions. If the land of al-Ghari shows itself to you, then yield and take off your shoes facing
Ewe dereva mwepesi, punguza mwendo! Kuwa na huruma kwa mioyo iliyogeuzwa katika hisia zenye mkazo. Ikiwa ardhi ya al-Ghari ikijionyesha kwako, basi vua viatu vyako vilivyotazama
إِنْ تَرَاءَثْ اَرْضُ الْغَرِيَّيْنِ فَاخْضَعْ وَ اخْلَعِ النَّعْلَ دُوْنَ وَادِيْ طُوَاهَا
the like of Tuwa Valley. If you behold the dome of the Upper

وَ اِذَا شِمْتَ قُبَّةَ الْعَالَمِ الْاَعْلَى وَ اَنْوَارُ رَبِّهَا تَغْشَاهَا

فَتَوَاضَع فَثَمَّ دَارَةُ قُدْسِ تَتَمَنَّى الْاَفْلَاكُ لَثُمَ ثَرَاهَا
for there lies a halo of holiness that even the highest stars
maana kuna halo ya utakatifu ambayo hata nyota za juu zaidi
قُلْ لَهُ وَ الدُّمُوْعُ سَفْحُ عَقِيْقٍ وَ الْحَشَا تَصْطَلِيْ بِنَارِ غَضَاهَا
wish to kiss its soil. Say to him, while your tears are like pouring agate and your bowels being blazed by their fire: 0
unataka kubusu udongo wake. Mwambie, na hali machozi yako ni kama akiki ya kumwagika, na matumbo yako yanawaka kwa moto wao.
يَا بْنَ عَمَّ النَّبِيِّ أَنْتَ يَدُ اللهِ الَتِيْ عَمَّ كُلِّ شَيْءِ نَدَاهَا
Prophet's cousin, you are the Hand of Allah Whose bounty
Binamu yake Mtume, wewe ni Mkono wa Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye fadhila yake
آَنْتَ قُرْانُهُ الْقَدِيْمُ وَ اَوْصَا فُكَ اَيَاتُهُ الَتِيْ اَوْحَاهَا
has included all things. You are His Eternal Qur'an and your attributes are the Verses that He has revealed. Allah has
imejumuisha vitu vyote. Wewe ndiye Qur'ani yake ya Milele na sifa zako ni Aya alizoziteremsha. Mwenyezi Mungu ana
خَصَكَ اللهُ فِي مَاثِرَ شَتَى هِيَ مِثْلَ الْاَعْدَادِ لَا تَتَنَاهَى
favored you in untold merits that are as countless as
alikupendelea katika sifa zisizohesabika ambazo ni nyingi sana
لَيُتَ عَيْنًا بِغَيْرِ رَوْضِكَ تَرْعَى قَذِيَتْ وَ اسْتَمَرَّ فِيْهَا قَذَاهَا
numbers. May an eye that grazes from a garden other than yours be deeply injured and be kept in injury. After the

Prophet, you are the best of beings, and the best thing in the

لَكَ ذَاتٌ كَذَاتِهِ حَيْثُ لَوْ لَا اَنَّهَا مِثْلُهَا لَمَا أَخَاهَا

قَدْ تَرَاضَعْتُمَا بِئَذْي وِصَالٍ كَانَ مِنْ جَوْهَرِ التَّجَلِّن غِذَاهَا
connection whose drink was made of the Essence of

Manifes ta tion. O Chosen Prophet's brother, I have had sins just like motes in my eye, and you are the remedy. In the scale of elevation and altitude, you enjoy such high levels
Madhihirisho ya udhihirisho. Ewe nduguye Mtume Mteule, mimi nimekuwa na dhambi kama kibanzi kwenye jicho langu, na wewe ndiye dawa. Katika kiwango cha mwinuko na mwinuko, unafurahiya viwango vya juu kama hivyo
لَكَ فِي مُرْتَقَى الْعُلَى وَ الْمَعَالِي دَرَجَاتٌ لَا يُرْتَقَى اَدْنَاهَا
that even the lowest of which cannot be attained. You enjoy
ambayo hata ya chini kabisa hayawezi kupatikana. Unafurahia
لَكَ نَفْسِ مِنْ مَعْدِنِ اللَّظْفِ صِيْغَتْ جَعَلَ اللهُ كُلَّ نَفْسِ فِدَاهَا
a soul that was made from the core of fineness. May Allah make all souls ransoms for it.
nafsi ambayo ilifanywa kutoka msingi wa fineness. Mwenyezi Mungu azifanyie fidia nafsi zote kwa ajili yake.
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ هَدَانَا لِهَذَا
All praise be to Allah Who has guided us to this; and we
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ametuongoza kwa haya; na sisi
وَ مَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْ لَا اَنْ هَدَانَا اللهُ
would not have found the way had it not been that Allah had
Asingeliipata njia lau kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu angelikuwa nayo
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ سَيَّرَنِي فِيْ بِلَادِهِ
guided us. All praise be to Allah Who has made me travel in
alituongoza. Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye amenifanya nisafiri
وَ حَمَلَنِي عَلَى دَوَآبِّهِ
His countries, Who has caused me to ride His animals, Who
Nchi zake, Ambaye amenifanya kuwapanda wanyama Wake, Ambao
وَ طَوْى لِيَ البَعِيْدَ
has made the distant space seem near for me, Who has kept
amefanya nafasi ya mbali ionekane karibu kwa ajili yangu, ambaye alishika
وَ صَرَفَ عَنَّي الْمَخذُوْرَ
away from me what is dangerous, and Who has held off
mbali nami kilicho hatari, na ambaye amejizuia
وَ دَفَعَ عَنَّي الْمَكْرُوُةَ
against me what is unwanted until He made me come up to
dhidi yangu nisichotakikana mpaka amenileta juu
حَثَّى اَقْدَمَنِي حَرَمَ آَخِيْ رَسُوْلِهِ
the Precinct of the brother of His Messenger, peace be upon
Eneo la ndugu wa Mtume wake, amani iwe juu yake
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ ألِهِ
him and his Household.
yeye na Familia yake.
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ اَدْخَلَنِي هَذِهِ الْبَقْعَةَ الْمُبَارَكَةَ
All praise be to Allah Who has allowed me to enter this
Sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ameniruhusu kuingia hapa
الَتِيْ بَارَكَ اللهُ فِيْتهَا
blessed zone, which Allah has blessed and has chosen for
ukanda uliobarikiwa, ambao Mwenyezi Mungu ameubariki na ameuchagua
وَ اخْتَارَهَا لِوَصِيِّ نَبِيِّهِ
His Prophet's Successor. O Allah, (please do) make this zone
Mrithi wa Mtume Wake. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali fanya) eneo hili
اَللّهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْهَا شَاهِدَةً لِنْ
witness for me.
shahidi kwa ajili yangu.
اَللَّهُمَّ بِبَابِكَ وَقَفْتُ
O Allah, I have stopped at Your door, I have come to Your
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nimesimama kwenye mlango wako, nimekuja kwako
وَ بِحَبْلِكَ اعْتَصَمْتُ
وَ لِرَحْمَتِكَ تَعَرَّضْتُ
court, to Your Cord do l cling, Your mercy do I seek, and by
mahakama, na kushikamana na Kamba yako, Rehema zako nazitafuta
وَ بِوَلِيِّكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَسَّلْتُ
Your Intimate Servant-may Your blessings be upon him-do
Mtumishi Wako wa Karibu-baraka Zako ziwe juu yake-fanya
فَاجْعَلْهَا زِيَارَةً مَقْبُوْلَةً
I beg You. So, (please do) make it an admissible visit and a
Nakuomba. Kwa hivyo, (tafadhali fanya) ifanye kuwa ziara inayokubalika na a
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّ هَذَا الْحَرَمَ حَرَمُكَ
responded supplication.
alijibu dua.
وَ الْمَقَامَ مَقَامُكَ
O Allah, this holy place is verily Yours, this situation is Yours,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, mahali hapa patakatifu ni Pako, hali hii ni yako.
وَ أَنَا اَدْخُلُ اِلَيْهِ أُنَاجِيْكَ
and I am entering here so as to confide to You things that
na ninaingia hapa ili kukuwekea siri mambo ambayo
بِمَا اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّيْ
You are more knowledgeable than I am as well as You are
Wewe ni mjuzi zaidi kuliko mimi kama vile Wewe ulivyo
وَ مِنْ سِرِّيْ وَ نَجْوَايَ
more knowledgeable than l am as regards my secrets and
mwenye ujuzi zaidi kuliko mimi kuhusu siri zangu na
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الْحَنَّانِ الْمَنَّانِ الْمُتَطَوِّلِ
my confidential speech. All praise be to Allah, the All- benevolent, the All-favorer, the All-munificent, Who, out of His
hotuba yangu ya siri. Sifa zote njema anastahiki Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa rehema, Mwingi wa ukarimu, ambaye kutokana na
الَّذِيْ مِنْ تَطَوْلِهِ سَهَلَ لِي زِيَارَةَ مَوْلَايَ بِإِحْسَانِهِ
munificence, has made it easy for me to visit my master,
munificence, imerahisisha kumtembelea bwana wangu,
وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْنِيْ عَنْ زِيَارَتِهِ مَمْنُوْعًا
Who has not made me banned from visiting him, and Who has not included me with those who are prevented from
Ambaye hakunifanya nimzuie kumzuru, na ambaye hakunijumuisha pamoja na wale waliozuiliwa
وَ لَا عَنْ وِلَايَتِهِ مَدْفُوْعًا
being loyal to his (Divinely commissioned) leadership; rather,
kuwa mwaminifu kwa uongozi wake (uliotumwa na Mungu); badala yake,
بَلْ تَطَوَّلَ وَ مَنَحَ
He has bestowed upon me and donated me (this favor). 0
Amenineemesha na kunifadhili (neema hii). 0
اَللَّهُمَّ كَمَا مَنَنْتَ عَلَيَّ بِمَعْرِفْتِهِ
Allah, just as You have conferred upon me with the favor of
Mwenyezi Mungu kama ulivyo nineemesha kwa neema ya
فَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ شِيْعَتِهِ
recognition of him, so also (please do) include me with his
kumtambua, vivyo hivyo pia (tafadhali) nijumuishe pamoja na yake
وَ اَذْخِلْنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَتِهِ
adherents (Shi'ah) and allow me to enter Paradise by means
wafuasi (Shi'ah) na kuniruhusu niingie Peponi kwa njia
يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
of his intercession, O most merciful of all those who show mercy.

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ اَكْرَمَنِي بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ
All praise be to Allah Who has honored me with the
Sifa zote njema anastahiki Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye amenitukuza
وَ مَعْرِفَةٍ رَسُوْلِهِ
recognition of Him, the recognition of His Messenger, and
kumtambua, kumtambua Mtume wake, na
وَ مَنْ فَرَضَ عَلَيَّ طَاعَتَهُ
the recognition of him the obedience to whom has been
utambuzi wa yeye utii ambao umekuwa
رَحْمَةً مِنْهُ لِيْ
made incumbent upon me by Him on account of His mercy
nimelazimishwa na Yeye kwa ajili ya rehema zake
وَ تَطَوُلًا مِنْهُ عَلَيَّ
to me, His favor that He bestowed upon me, and His
kwangu mimi, fadhila zake alizonineemesha, na zake
وَ مَنَّ عَلَيَّ بِالْاِيْمَانِ
conferral upon me with faith. All praise be to Allah Who has
kunikabidhi kwa imani. Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ana
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ اَدْخَلَنِي حَرَمَ اَخِنْ رَسُوْلِهِ
allowed me to enter the shrine of His Messenger's brother
akaniruhusu kuingia kwenye kaburi la ndugu wa Mtume Wake
وَ اَرَانِيْهِ فِيْ عَافِيَةٍ
and has made me see this shrine while I enjoy good health.
na imenifanya nione kaburi hili huku nikifurahia afya njema.
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَيْنْ مِنْ زُوَارِ قَبْرِ وَصِيِّ رَسُوْلِهِ
All praise be to Allah Who has included me with the visitors
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye amenijumuisha pamoja na wageni
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَا اللهُ
of the tomb of His Messenger's successor. I bear witness
ya kaburi la mrithi wa Mtume Wake. Nashuhudia
وَحَدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
that there is no god but Allah, alone without having any

وَ اَشْهَدُ آَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُوْلُهُ
associate, and l bear witness that Muhammad is His servant

وَ تَوْفِيْقِهِ لِمَا دَعَا إِلَيْهِ مِنْ سَبِيْلِهِ
He has guided me and led me successfully to His course to

Muhammad, do not disappoint my efforts, (please) grant me

وَ انظُرْ إِلَيّ نَظْرَةً رَجِيْمَةً تَثعَشُنِيْ بِهَا
a merciful look from You through which You refresh me,

وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ عِنْدَكَ وَجِيْهَا فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْأَخِرَةِ

وَ مِنَ المُقَرَّبِيْنَ-
world to come, and make me of those brought near to You.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ
Peace be upon Allah's Messenger whom Allah has entrusted
Amani iwe juu ya Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye Mwenyezi Mungu amemkabidhi
آَمِيْنِ اللهِ عَلَى وَحِيِهِ
وَ عَزَائِمِ اَمْرِهِ
with His Revelations and with His determined

الْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ
commandments, who sealed the previous Messages, paved

Allah and best of His beings! Peace be upon the Commander

عَبْدِ اللهِ وَ اَخِيْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ
of the Faithful: the servant of Allah and the brother of Allah's

يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَ ابْنُ اَمَتِكَ

come to you seeking the refuge of your protection, directing

اَاَذْخُلَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللهِ

اَاَذْخُلَ يَآ آَمِيْنَ اللهِ
اَاَدْخُلُ يَا مَلَائِكَةَ اللهِ الْمُقِيْمِيْنَ [الْمُقَرَّبِينَ] فِي هَذَا الْمَشْهَدِ
enter, O angels of Allah who reside in this shrine? O master,

يَا مَؤْلَايَ اَتَأذَنُ لِيْ بِالدُّخُوْلِ
may you permit me to enter in the best way of permission

فَاِنْ لَمْ آَكُنْ لَهُ اَهْلَا فَاَنْتَ اَهلّ لِذَلِكَ.

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ ألِهِ
may Allah bless him and his Household. O Allah, (please do)

اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ ازحَمْنِي وَ ثُبْ عَلَيَّ
اِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَوَابُ الرَّحِيْمُ.
forgive me for You are verily the Oft-Returning.
Nisamehe kwani Wewe ndiye Mwenye kurejea.
اَلسَّلَامُ مِنَ اللهِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ
Peace of Allah be upon Muhammad the Messenger of Allah,
Amani ya Mwenyezi Mungu iwe juu ya Muhammad Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
آَمِيْنِ اللّهِ عَلَى وَخِيِهِ وَ رِسَالَاتِهِ
the trustee of Allah over His Revelations, Messages, and
mdhamini wa Mwenyezi Mungu juu ya Aya zake, Ujumbe wake, na
وَ عَزَآئِمِ آَمْرِهِ
determined commandments, the core of the Divine

وَ مَعْدِنِ الْوَحْي وَ التَّنْزِيْلِ
Inspiration and Revelation, who sealed the previous

best, most perfect, most exalted, and most honored

(please do) send blessings upon the Commander of the

عَبْدِكَ وَ خَيْرٍ خَلْقِكَ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّكَ
Faithful, Your servant, the best of Your creatures after Your
Muaminifu, mja Wako, mbora wa viumbe Wako baada Yako
وَ اَخِيْ رَسُوْلِكَ
Prophet, the brother of Your Messenger, the Successor of
Nabii, ndugu wa Mtume Wako, Wasii wa
الَّذِي انْتَجَبْتَهُ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
Your most-beloved one, whom You have selected from
Mpendwa wako zaidi, ambaye umemchagua
وَ الدَّلِيْلِ عَلَى مَنْ بَعَثْتَهُ بِرِسَالَاتِكَ
among Your beings, the guide to those whom You sent with
miongoni mwa viumbe Wako, kiongozi kwa wale uliowatuma nao
وَ دَيَّانِ الدِّيْنِ بِعَدْلِكَ
Your messages, the establisher of the true religion by means

وَ فَضْلٍ قَضَائِكَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ
of Your justice, and the decisive judge among Your beings.

وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.
Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon him. O Allah,
Amani na rehema za Mwenyezi Mungu na baraka ziwe juu yake. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu,
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى الائِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ
(please do) send blessings upon the Imams from his
(tafadhali fanya) tuma baraka juu ya Maimamu kutoka kwake
الْقَوَّامِيْنَ بِامْرِكَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ
offspring, (who are) the holders of Your commandments
kizazi, (ambao) ndio wenye kuzishika amri zako
الْمُطَهَرِيْنَ الَّذِيْنَ ارْتَضَيْتَهُمْ اَنْصَارًا لِدِيْنِكَ
after him, and the immaculate ones whom You have

وَ حَفَظَةً لِسِرِّكَ
accepted as supporters of Your religion, keepers of Your

Guiding Imams. Peace be upon the Prophets and the
Maimamu Waongozaji. Amani iwe juu ya Mitume na Manabii
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْاَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْتَوْدِعِيْنَ،
Messengers. Peace be upon the lmams whom are entrusted
Wajumbe. Amani iwe juu ya mamamu waliokabidhiwa
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى خَاصَّةٍ اللهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ
(with the religion by Allah). Peace be upon the elite creatures
(pamoja na dini ya Mwenyezi Mungu). Amani iwe juu ya viumbe wasomi
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْمُتَوَسِّمِيْنَ
of Allah. Peace be upon those who understand by tokens.

Peace be upon the faithful believers who have carried out His

وَ وَازَرُوْا اَوْلِيَاءَ اللهِ

Ewe baba wa al-Hasan na al-Husayn. Amani iwe juu yako,
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَمُوْدَ الدِّيْنِ
O pillar of the religion. Peace be upon you, O chief of the
Ewe nguzo ya dini. Amani iwe juu yako, ewe mkuu wa madhehebu
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدَ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ
وَ اَمِيْنَ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
successors (of Prophets), trustee of the Lord of the worlds,
mawasii (wa Mitume), wadhamini wa Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
وَ دَيَّانَ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ
وَ خَيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
judge on the Judgement Day, best of the believers, chief of
Hukumu Siku ya Kiyama, bora wa Waumini, mkuu wa
وَ سَيِّدَ الصَّدِّيْقِيْنَ
وَ الصَّفْوَةَ مِنْ سُلَالَةِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
the most truthful ones, elite of the Prophets' lineage, door to
wakweli zaidi, wasomi wa ukoo wa Mitume, mlango wa
وَ بَابَ حِكْمَةٍ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
the wisdom of the Lord of the worlds, keeper of His
hekima ya Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote, Mhifadhi wake
وَ عَيْبَةَ عِلَمِهِ،
Revelation, container of His knowledge, advisor of His
Wahyi, chombo cha elimu yake, mshauri wake
وَ التَّاصِحَ لِأُمَّةٍ نَبِيِّهِ
وَ التَّالِيَ لِرَسُوْلِهِ
Prophet's people, next to His Messenger, who sacrificed

وَ الْمُوَاسِيَ لَهُ بِنَفْيسِيهِ
himself for him (i.e. for the Messenger), speaker with his

وَ النَّاطِقَ بِحْجَتِهِ
arguments, inviter to his principles, and steadfast on his
mabishano, mwalikaji kwa kanuni zake, na thabiti juu yake
وَ الدَّاعِيَ إِلَى شَرِيْعَتِهِ
وَ الْمَاضِيَ عَلَى سُنَّتِهِ
اَللَهُمَّ إِنَّي اَشْهَدُ
instructions. O Allah, l do bear witness that he carried out the
maelekezo. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nashuhudia kwamba yeye ndiye aliyefanya
اَنَّهُ قَدْ بَلَّغَ عَنْ رَسُوْلِكَ مَا حْمَّلَ
mission conveyed to him by Your Messenger, achieved what
Utume aliofikishwa na Mtume wako, ulifanikisha yale
وَ حَفِظ مَا اسْتُوْدِعَ
he was ordered to keep, kept what has been stored with him,
aliamriwa kushika, akaweka akiba;
وَ حَلَّلَ حَلَالَكَ
deemed lawful that which You deem lawful, deemed unlawful
Umeona kuwa ni halali unayoyaona kuwa ni haramu
وَ حَرَّمَ حَرَامَكَ
that which You deem unlawful, put into practice Your laws,
yale unayoyaona kuwa ni haramu, tekeleza sheria zako.
وَ اَقَامَ أَحْكَامَكَ
strove against the contraveners for Your sake, against the
pigana dhidi ya wapotovu kwa ajili yako, dhidi ya hao
وَ جَاهَدَ النَّاكِثِيْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِكَ
wrongdoers according to Your laws, and against the
wenye kudhulumu kwa mujibu wa sheria zako, na dhidi ya
وَ الْقَاسِطِيْنَ فِي حُكْمِكَ
وَ الْمَارِقِيْنَ عَنْ آَمْرِكَ
apostates from Your decree, did all that with steadfastness,
walioasi amri yako, wakafanya hayo yote kwa uthabiti.
صَابِرًا مُخْتَسِبًا
expecting Your reward, and no blame of any blamer could
wakitaraji malipo Yako, wala hapana lawama ya mwenye kulaumiwa
لَا تَأْخُذُهُ فِيْكَ لَوْمَةُ لَائِمِ
ever influence him. O Allah, (please do) send blessings upon
milele kumshawishi. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) tuma baraka juu yake
اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ اَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ
him with the best way You have ever blessed any of Your
naye kwa njia bora kabisa ambayo umewahi kumbariki yeyote katika Wako
عَلَى اَحَدٍ مِنْ اَوْلِيَآئِكَ وَ اَضفِيَآئِكَ
intimate servants, Your choicest ones, and Your Prophet's
waja wa karibu, wateule Wako, na Nabii Wako
وَ اَوْصِيَاءِ اَنْبِيَائِكَ
successors. O Allah, this is the tomb of Your representative
warithi. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, hili ni kaburi la mwakilishi wako
اَللَّهُمَّ هَذَا قَبْرُ وَلِيِّكَ
the obedience to whom has been made by You incumbent
utii ambao umefanywa na Wewe kuwa wajibu
الَذِيْ فَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُ
(upon us), the loyalty to whom has been made by You in the
(juu yetu), uaminifu ambao umefanywa na Wewe katika
وَ جَعَلْتَ فِي اَعْنَاقٍ عِبَادِكَ مُبَايَعَتَهُ
necks of Your servants, and (it is the tomb of) Your viceroy

وَ خَلِيْفَتِكَ الَّذِيْ بِهِ تَأْخُذُ وَ تُغْطِي
through whom You will give and take, and through whom You

فَبِعَظِيْمِ قَدْرِهِ عِنْدَكَ
beseech You) in the name of his eminent standing with You,

وَ جَلِيْل خَطَرِهِ لَدَيْكَ
in the name of his great status in Your view, and in the name
kwa jina la hadhi yake kuu katika mtazamo Wako, na katika jina
وَ قَرْبٍ مَنْزِلَتِهِ مِنْكَ
of the closeness of his position to You, to bless Muhammad
ya ukaribu wa nafasi yake Kwako, kumbariki Muhammad
صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
وَ افْعَلْ بِيْ مَا أَنْتَ اَهْلِهُ
and the Household of Muhammad and to do to me that
na Ahli Muhammad na kunifanyia hivyo
فَاِنَّكَ اَهْلُ الْكَرَمِ وَ الْجُوْدِ
which is expected from You, for You are verily worthy of
yanayotarajiwa kutoka Kwako, kwa hakika Wewe unastahiki
وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَؤْلَايَ
honoring and generous granting. Peace be upon you, O my
heshima na utoaji wa ukarimu. Amani iwe juu yako ewe wangu
وَ عَلَى ضَجِيْعَيْكَ أَدَمَ وَ نُوْحٍ
master, and upon your partners in the place, (Prophet) Adam
bwana, na juu ya washirika wako katika mahali, (Nabii) Adam
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.
and (Prophet) Noah. May Allah's mercy and blessings be
na (Nabii) Nuhu. Rehema na baraka za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe
يَا مَوْلَايَ إِلَيْكَ وُفَوْدِيْ
upon you,too.

وَ بِكَ أَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَى رَبَّيْ
O my master, to You is my coming and in your name do l
Ee bwana wangu, kuja kwangu ni kwako na kwa jina lako l
فِيْ بُلُوْغِ مَقْصُوْدِيْ
beseech my Lord so that I may achieve my goal. I bear
niombeeni Mola wangu Mlezi ili niweze kufikia lengo langu. Mimi kubeba
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ الْمُتَوَسَّلَ بِكَ غَيْرُ خَائِبِ
witness that he who beseeches (Allah) in your name shall
shuhudia kwamba anayekuomba (Mwenyezi Mungu) kwa jina lako atashuhudiwa
وَ الطّالِبَ بِكَ عَنْ مَعْرِفَةٍ
never be disappointed and he who implores (Allah) in your
kamwe usifedheheke na anayekuomba (Mwenyezi Mungu) kwako
غَيْرُ مَرْدُوْدٍ اِلَّا بِقَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِهِ
name, with full cognizance, shall never be rejected, rather, all
jina, kwa utambuzi kamili, kamwe kukataliwa, badala yake, wote
فَكُنْ لِيْ شَفِيْعًا إِلَى اللهِ
his needs shall be settled. So, (please) be my interceder to
mahitaji yake yatatatuliwa. Basi, (tafadhali) uwe mwombezi wangu
رَبِّكَ وَ رَبَّي فِي قَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِيْ
Allah- my and your Lord-for purpose of settling my needs,
Mwenyezi Mungu wangu na Mola wenu Mlezi, kwa kunipatia haja zangu.
وَ تَيْسِيْرٍ أُمُوْرِيْ
making easy my affairs, relieving my depressions, forgiving
kufanya mambo yangu kuwa rahisi, kupunguza huzuni yangu, kusamehe
وَ غُفْرَانِ ذَنْبِيْ
my sins, expanding my sustenance sources, extending my
dhambi zangu, kupanua vyanzo vyangu vya riziki, kupanua yangu
وَ سَعَةٍ رِزْقِيْ
lifetime, and granting me all my requests for the world to
maishani mwangu, na kunipa maombi yangu yote kwa ulimwengu
وَ اِغْطَاءِ سُؤْلِي فِيْ اَخِرَتِي وَ دُنْيَايَ
come as well as this world. O Allah, curse the killers of the
njoo kama vile ulimwengu huu. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu walaani wauwaji
اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَةَ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
Commander of the Faithful. O Allah, curse the killers of al-
Amirul-Muuminina. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu walaani wauaji wa
اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَةَ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحَسَيْنِ
Hasan and al-Husayn. O Allah, curse the killers of the lmams,
Hasan na al-Husayn. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, walaani wauwaji wa mamam.
اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ قَتَلَةَ الاَئْمَّةِ
وَ عَذَّبْهُمْ عَذَابًا اَليْمًا
and subject them to such a painful chastisement that You
na uwatie kwenye adhabu chungu ili Wewe
لَا تُعَذِّبُهُ آَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
have never subjected any of Your creatures to it, such an
Hujawatiisha hata mmoja katika viumbe Wako kama hivyo
عَذَابًا كَثِيْرًا لَا انْقِطَاعَ لَهُ
enormous chastisement that never ceases, nor comes to an
adhabu kubwa isiyokoma wala haifikii
وَ لَا اَجَلَ وَ لَا آَمَدَ
بِمَا شَآقَّوْا وُلَاةَ آَمْرِكَ
end, nor reaches a deadline, for what they contended against
mwisho, wala kufikia makataa, kwa yale waliyokuwa wakishindana nayo
وَ اَعِدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا
Your authorities. And (please do) prepare for them such an
Mamlaka yako. Na (tafadhali fanya) waandalie vile
لَمْ تُجِلَّهُ بِاَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ.
intense torture that You have not decided for any of Your
mateso makali ambayo Hujaamua kwa ajili Yako yoyote
اَللّهُمّ وَ اَدْلْ عَلَى قَتَلَةٍ اَنْصَارِ رَسُوْلِكَ
creatures. O Allah, (please do) impose upon the killers of
viumbe. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu (tafadhali) walazimishe wauwaji
وَ عَلَى قَتَلَةٍ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Your Messenger's supporters, the killers of the Commander
Wafuasi wa Mtume wako, wauwaji wa Amiri
وَ عَلَى قَتَلَةِ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ
of the Faithful, the killers of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the
ya Waumini, wauwaji wa al-Hasan na al-Husayn
وَ عَلَى قَتَلَةٍ اَنْصَارِ الْحَسَنِ وَ الْحُسَيْنِ
killers of the supporters of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and the
wauaji wa wafuasi wa al-Hasan na al-Husayn, na
وَقَتَلَةٍ مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي وِلَايَةِ ألِ مُحَمَّدِ ٱجْمَعِيْنَ
killers of all those whom were killed because of their loyalty
wauaji wa wale wote waliouawa kwa sababu ya uaminifu wao
عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا مُضَاعَفًا
to the Household of Muhammad, a painful, cyclic
kwa Aali Muhammad, chungu, mzunguko
فِيْ اَسْفَلِ دَرْكِ مِنَ الْجَحِيْمِ
punishment in the lowest class of Hellfire that the
adhabu katika tabaka la chini kabisa la Moto wa Jahannam
لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ
punishment shall not be lightened for them and they shall lay
hawatapunguziwa adhabu na watalala
وَ هُمْ فِيْهِ مُبْلِسُوْنَ مَلْعُوْنُوْنَ
therein in utter despair and endless curse; they shall be
humo katika kukata tamaa kabisa na laana isiyo na mwisho; watakuwa
نَاكِسُوْا رُءُوْسِهِمْ عِنْدَ رَبَّهِمْ
hanging down their heads before their Lord after they shall
wakiinamisha vichwa vyao mbele ya Mola wao Mlezi baada ya wao
قَدْ عَايَنُوْا النَّدَامَةَ وَ الْخِزْيَ الطَّوِيْلَ
find out with certainty regret and long-lasting disgrace, for
ujue kwa hakika majuto na fedheha ya muda mrefu, kwa
لِقَثْلِهِمْ عِثْرَةَ أَنْبِيَآئِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ
they killed the members of the household of Your Prophets
wakawaua watu wa nyumba ya Manabii Wako
وَ اَثْبَاعَهُمْ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
and Messengers and the righteous servants from their
na Mitume na waja wema kutokana na wao
اَللَّهُمَ الْعَتْهُمْ فِيْ مُسْتَسِرَ السَّرِّ
followers. O Allah, (do) curse them in the most concealed

وَ ظَاهِرِ الْعَلانِيَةِ
secrecy and in the most apparent openness, in Your lands

and in Your heavens. O Allah, (please do) decide for me a

اَللَّهُمَ اجْعَلْ لِي قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ فِي اَوْلِيَآئِكَ
truthful step with Your intimate servants and make me long

وَ حَبَّبْ اِلَيَّ مَشَاهِدَهُمْ وَ مُسْتَقَرَّهُمْ
for their shrines and their residing-places until You include

حَثَّى تُلْحِقَنِيْ بِهمْ
وَ تَجْعَلَنِيْ لَهُمْ تَبَعَا فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْأَخِرَةِ
me with them and make me among their followers in this
mimi pamoja nao na unifanye miongoni mwa wafuasi wao katika hili
يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
world as well as the world to come. O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
ulimwengu pamoja na ulimwengu ujao. Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wote wanao rehemu!
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَآ آَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ
Peace be upon you, O Abu-'Abdullah. Peace be upon you, 0
Amani iwe juu yako ewe Abu-'Abdullah. Amani iwe juu yenu, 0
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ
son of Allah's Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the
mwana wa Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yako ewe mwana wa Mwenyezi Mungu
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
Commander of the Faithful. Peace be upon you, O son of
Amirul-Muuminina. Amani iwe juu yako ewe mwana wa
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَآءِ
سَيِّدَةٍ نِسَاءِ العَالَمِيْنَ
Fatimah, the luminous lady, the doyenne of all women of the
Fatimah, Bibi mwenye kung'aa, doyenne wa wanawake wote
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَآ آَبَا الْاَئْمَةِ الْهَادِيْنَ الْمَهْدِيِّيْنَ
worlds. Peace be upon you, O father of the Imams- the
walimwengu. Amani iwe juu yako, ewe baba wa Maimamu
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَرِيْعَ الدَّمْعَةِ السَّاكِبَةِ
guides and well-guided. Peace be upon you, O victim of the
viongozi na wenye kuongozwa vyema. Amani iwe juu yako, ewe mhasiriwa wa
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَاحِبَ الْمُصِيْبَةِ الرَّاتِبَةِ
pouring tears. Peace be upon you, O man of the disastrous
kumwaga machozi. Amani iwe juu yako ewe mtu wa maafa
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلْى جَدِّكَ وَ اَبِيْكَ
misfortune. Peace be upon you and upon your grandfather
bahati mbaya. Amani iwe juu yako na juu ya babu yako
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلَى أُمِّكَ وَ اخِيْكَ
and father. Peace be upon you and upon your mother and
na baba. Amani iwe juu yako na juu ya mama yako na
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلَى الْاَئِمَةِ مِنْ ذُرَّيَّتِكَ وَ بَنِيْكَ
brother. Peace be upon you and upon the Imams from your
kaka. Amani iwe juu yako na juu ya Maimamu kutoka kwako
أَشْهَدُ لَقَدْ طَيِّبَ اللهُ بِكَ التُّرَابَ
offspring and descendants. I bear witness that Allah has

وَ اؤْضَحَ بِكَ الكِتَابَ
purified the soil (on which you fell down) through you, has

وَ جَعَلَكَ وَ آَبَاكَ وَ جَدَّكَ
made clear His Book through you, and has made you, your

وَ آَخَاكَ وَ بَنِيْكَ عِبْرَةً لِأُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ
father, your grandfather, your brother, and your descendants
baba, babu yako, kaka yako na vizazi vyako
يَا ابْنَ الْمَيَامِيْنِ الْاَطيَابِ
examples for the owners of intellects. O son of the blessed,
mifano kwa wamiliki wa akili. Ewe mwana wa mbarikiwa,
التَّالِيْنَ الْكِتَابَ
purified ones who recite (and apply) the Book utterly, I direct
waliotakaswa wanaosoma (na kukitumia) Kitabu kwa ukamilifu, ninawaelekeza
وَجَهْتُ سَلَامِي اِلَيْكَ
my greetings to you. May Allah make His peace and
salamu zangu kwako. Mwenyezi Mungu aiweke amani yake na
صًلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَ سَلَامُهُ عَلَيْكَ
blessings to be upon you and may He make the hearts of
baraka ziwe juu yenu na azifanye nyoyo za
وَ جَعَلَ اَفْئِدَةً مِنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِيْ إِليْكَ
some people yearn toward you. Disappointment shall never
watu wengine wanatamani kukuelekea. Kukatishwa tamaa kamwe
مَا خَابَ مَنْ تَمَسَّكَ بِكَ وَ لَجَاَ اِلَيْكَ.
chase him who adheres to you and resorts to you.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى اَبِي الْآَئْمَةِ
Peace be upon the father of the Imams, the intimate friend of
Amani iwe juu ya baba wa Maimam, rafiki wa karibu wa
وَ خَلِيْل النُّبُوَّةِ
Prophethood, and the marked, exclusively, by fraternity (with
Utume, na wenye alama, pekee, na udugu (pamoja na
وَ الْمَخْصُوْصِ بِالْأُخُوَّةِ
ٱَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى يَعْسُوْبِ الدِّيْنِ وَ الْاِيْمَانِ
the Holy Prophet). Peace be upon the head of the religion
Mtukufu Mtume). Amani iwe juu ya kichwa cha dini
وَ كَلِمَةِ الرَّحْمْنِ
and faith, and the word of the All-beneficent Lord. Peace be
na imani, na neno la Mola Mlezi, Mwingi wa Rehema. Amani iwe
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى مِيْزَانِ الْاَعْمَالِ
upon the Scale of the deeds the turner over of manners, the

وَ مُقَلَّبِ الْأَخْوَالِ
وَ سَيْفِ ذِي الْجَلَالِ
sword of the Lord of Majesty, and who supplies with the

وَ سَاقِنِ السَّلْسَبِيْلِ الزَّلَالِ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى صَالِحِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

وَ وَارِثِ عِلْمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
the believers, the inheritor of the Prophet's knowledge, and

وَ الحَاكِمِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ التَّقْوْى
the judge on the Judgement Day. Peace be upon the tree of
hakimu Siku ya Hukumu. Amani iwe juu ya mti wa
وَ سَامِعِ السِّرِّ وَ النَّجْوَى
piety and the hearer of hidden and confidential speeches.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى حَجَّة اللهِ الْبالِغَة
Peace be upon Allah's conclusive argument, His flowing
Amani iwe juu ya hoja ya Mwenyezi Mungu yenye mtiririko wake
وَ نِعْمَتِهِ السَّابِغَةِ
وَ نِقْمَتِهِ الدَّامِغَةِ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الصَّرَاطِ الْوَاضِحِ
boon, and His forceful punishment. Peace be upon the clear-
neema, na adhabu yake kali. Amani iwe juu ya walio wazi -
وَ النَّجْمِ اللّائِحِ

اَللّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
O Allah, (please do) send blessings upon the Commander of
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) mpe baraka Amirul
عَلِيَّ بْنِ آَبِي طَالِبِ
the Faithful, 'Ali the son of Abu-Talib: the brother, ally,
Muumini, Ali mwana wa Abu Talib: ndugu, mshirika,
اَخِي نَبِيِّكَ وَ وَلِيِّهِ
supporter, successor, and patron of Your Prophet, the store
msaidizi, wasii, na mlinzi wa Mtume Wako, duka
وَ نَاصِرِهِ وَ وَصِيِّهِ وَ وَزِيْرِهِ
وَ مُسْتَوْدَعٍ عِلَمِهِ
of his knowledge, the depot of his secrets, the door to his
ya maarifa yake, ghala la siri zake, mlango wa kwake
وَ بَابٍ حِكْمَتِهِ
wisdom, the spokesman with his arguments, the caller to his

وَ خَلِيْفَتِهِ فِي أَمَّتِهِ

وَ قَاصِمِ الْكَفَرَةِ
agony from his face, the terminator of the infidels, the

وَ مُرْغِمِ الْفَجَرَةِ
conqueror on the wicked ones, whom You have made, with

الَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَهُ مِنْ نَبِيِّكَ

اَللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالَاهُ
O Allah, (please do) give support to any one who supports
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu (tafadhali umsaidie) anaye saidia
وَ عَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ
him, be the enemy of every one who antagonizes him, give
yeye, kuwa adui wa kila anayempinga, toa
وَ اخْذُلْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُ
victory to any one who gives him his victory, disappoint every
ushindi kwa yeyote anayempa ushindi wake, mkatisha tamaa kila mtu
وَ الْعَنْ مَنْ نَصَّبَ لَهُ
one who disappoints him, and lay curse on any one who
mtu anayemkatisha tamaa, na kumlaani yeyote ambaye
مِنَ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَ الْأَخِرِيْنَ
incurs the hostility of him from the past and the coming

وَ صَلَّ عَلَيْهِ اَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ

Peace be upon you, O choice of Allah. Peace be upon you, O

ٱَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيْبَ اللهِ
beloved by Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah.
kupendwa na Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yako ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ
Peace be upon you, O trustee of Allah. Peace be upon you, 0
Amani iwe juu yako ewe mdhamini wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yenu, 0
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا آَمِيْنَ اللهِ
representative of Allah in His lands. Peace be upon you, 0
mwakilishi wa Mwenyezi Mungu katika ardhi yake. Amani iwe juu yenu, 0
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيْفَةَ اللهِ فِي أَرضِهِ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا آَبَا الْبَشَرِ
father of all mankind. Peace be upon you and upon your soul
baba wa wanadamu wote. Amani iwe juu yako na juu ya nafsi yako
اَلسَّلَامُ [سَلَامُ الله] عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلَى رُوْحِكَ وَ بَدَنِكَ
and body, and upon the pure ones from your sons and
na mwili, na juu ya walio safi kutoka kwa wana wenu na
وَ عَلَى الطَّاهِرِيْنَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ وَ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ
descendants. May Allah pour upon you such innumerable
wazao. Mwenyezi Mungu akumiminie idadi isiyohesabika
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْكَ صَلْوةً لَا يُخْصِيْهَا اِلَّا هُوَ
blessings that none can count save Him. May Allah's mercy
baraka ambazo hakuna awezaye kuzihesabu isipokuwa Yeye. Rehema za Mwenyezi Mungu
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.
and blessings be upon you.
na baraka ziwe juu yako.
ٱَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ
Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah. Peace be upon you, O
Amani iwe juu yako ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yako, O
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ اللهِ
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ
choice of Allah. Peace be upon you, O intimate servant of
chaguo la Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yako ewe mja wa karibu wa
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيْبَ اللهِ
Allah. Peace be upon you, O beloved by Allah. Peace be upon
Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yako ewe kipenzi cha Mwenyezi Mungu. Amani iwe juu yake
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَيْخَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
you, O chief of the Messengers. Peace be upon you, O
ewe mkuu wa Mitume. Amani iwe juu yako, O
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا آَمِيْنَ اللهِ فِيْ آَرْضِهِ
trustee of Allah in His lands. May Allah's peace and blessings
mdhamini wa Mwenyezi Mungu katika ardhi yake. Amani na baraka za Mwenyezi Mungu
صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَ سَلَامُهُ عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلَى رُوْحِكَ وَ بَدَنِكَ
be upon you, upon your soul and body, and upon the pure
iwe juu yako, juu ya nafsi yako na mwili wako, na juu ya walio safi
وَ عَلَى الطَّاهِرِيْنَ مِنْ وُلَدِكَ
ones from among your sons. May Allah's mercy and
miongoni mwa wana wenu. Rehema za Mwenyezi Mungu na
وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.
blessings be upon you.

اَللَّهُمّ إِنَّيْ صَلَّيْتُ هَاتَيْنِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ
O Allah, I have offered these two units of prayer, as present
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nimesali rakaa mbili hizi za sala, kama nipo
هَدِيَّةً مِنَّيْ إِلَى سَيَّدِيْ وَ مَؤْلَايَ
from me to my master and chief: Your intimate servant, the

وَلِيِّكَ وَ اَخِيْ رَسُوْلِكَ
أَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

وَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ
and the chief of the Prophets' successors; namely, 'Ali the

صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَى الِهِ
son of Abu-Talib, may Allah's blessings be upon him and his

اَللَّهُمَّ فَصَلّ عَلَى مُحَمَدٍ وَ أَلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
household. So, O Allah, (please do) send blessings upon

وَ تَقَبَلْهَا مِنَّيْ
Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, accept that
Muhammad na Aali Muhammad, wanakubali hilo
وَ اجْزِنِي عَلَى ذَلِكَ جَزَاءَ الْمُحسِنِيْنَ
prayer from me, and confer upon me with the reward that

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صَلَّيْتُ
وَ لكَ رَكَعْتُ
You give to the good-doers. O Allah, to You have l offered
Unawapa wafanyao wema. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nimekutolea sadaka
وَ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ
prayer, genuflected, and prostrated myself, to You alone
sala, nikageuza, na kusujudu, Kwako peke yako
وَخَدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ
without associating anyone with You, because prayers,
bila kukushirikisha na wewe, kwa sababu maombi,
لِإنَّهُ لَا تَكُوْنُ [لَا تَجُوْزُ] الصَّلْوةُ
وَ الرُّكُوْعُ وَ السُّجْوْدُ اِلَّا لَكَ
genuflections, and prostrations are submitted to none save

لاَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ
You, because You are Allah; there is no god save You. 0
Wewe, kwa sababu Wewe ni Mwenyezi Mungu; hakuna mungu ila Wewe. 0
اَللّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَالِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of
Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) mbariki Muhammad na Aali zake
وَ تَقَبَلَ مِنِّيْ زِيَارَتِيْ
Muhammad, admit my visit, and respond to my requests in
Muhammad, ukubali ziara yangu, na ujibu maombi yangu ndani
بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِهِ الطَاهِرِيْنَ.
the name of Muhammad and his Household-the
jina la Muhammad na Aali zake
اَللّهُمَّ اِلَيْكَ تَوَجَّهْتْ
immaculate ones.

وَ بِكَ اعْتَصَمْتُ
O Allah, to You do l direct my face, to You do I resort, and on
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, kwako ninauelekeza uso wangu, Kwako narejea, na kuendelea
اَللَهُمَّ اَنْتَ ثِقَتِيْ وَ رَجَائِي
You do I rely. O Allah, You are my trust and my hope; so,
Wewe ninakutegemea. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, Wewe ndiye tegemeo langu na matumaini yangu; hivyo,
فَاكْفِنِي مَا اَهَمَّنِي وَ مَا لَا يُهِمُّنِي
(please do) save me from whatever concerns me, whatever
(tafadhali fanya) uniokoe kutokana na chochote kinachonihusu, chochote kile
وَ مَا أَنْتَ آَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنَّيْ
does not concern me, and whatever You know more than l
hainihusu, na chochote unachokijua zaidi kuliko mimi
عَزَّ جَارُكَ
do. Certainly, protected is he who lies under Your protection,
fanya. Hakika amehifadhiwa aliye lala chini ya ulinzi wako.
وَ جَلِّ ثَنَاؤُكَ
glory be to Your praise, and there is no deity save You.
sifa njema ni Zako, na hapana mungu ila Wewe.
صَلَّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ
(Please do) send blessings upon Muhammad and the
(Tafadhali fanya) rehema juu ya Muhammad na
وَ قَرِّبْ فَرَجَهُمْ
Household of Muhammad, and hasten their Relief.
Enyi watu wa nyumba ya Muhammad, na ifanyieni haraka msamaha wao.
اِزْحَمْ ذُلَي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
(Please do) have mercy on my humiliation before You, on my
(Tafadhali nirehemu) unyonge wangu mbele yako, juu yangu
وَ تَضَرُّعِيْ اِلَيْكَ
earnest imploring to You, on my loneliness among people,
kukuomba kwa dhati, juu ya upweke wangu kati ya watu,
وَ وَحَشَتِيْ مِنَ النَّاسِ
وَ أُنْسِيْ بِكَ
and on my amiability with You. O All-generous! O All-
na juu ya urafiki wangu na Wewe. Ewe Mkarimu! O wote-
يَا كَرِيْمُ يَا كَرِيْمُ يَا كَرِيْمُ
generous! O All-generous!
mkarimu! Ewe Mkarimu!
لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ رَبِّيْ حَقًّا حَقًّا
There is no god save You, my Lord, truly, truly. O Lord, 1 prostrate myself before You as sign of my worshipfulness
Hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mola wangu Mlezi, hakika, hakika. Ewe Mola wangu, nisujudu mbele yako kama ishara ya ibada yangu
سَجَدْتُ لَكَ يَا رَبِّ تَعَبِّدًا وَ رِقًا
and servitude to You. O Allah, my deed is certainly feeble; so,
na utumwa Kwako. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika amali yangu ni dhaifu. hivyo,
اَللّهُمّ إِنَّ عَمَلِي ضَعِيْفٌ فَضَاعِفْهُ لِيْ
(please do) grant it strength by increasing it many times, 0
(tafadhali fanya) itie nguvu kwa kuiongeza mara nyingi, 0
بَاكَرِيْمُ يَاكَرِيْمُ يَا كَرِيْمُ.
All-generous! O All-generous! O All-generous!
Mkarimu sana! Ewe Mkarimu! Ewe Mkarimu!

Thanks You are recommended to pray Almighty Allah as earnestly as possible, because the place you are in is the zone of granting requests. You are also recommended to implore Almighty Allah for forgiveness as sincerely as possible, because the place you are in is the zone of forgiveness. You are recommended to beseech Almighty Allah for settling your needs as seriously as possible, because the place you are in is the zone of responding to the needs.
Asante Unapendekezwa kumwomba Mwenyezi Mungu kwa bidii iwezekanavyo, kwa sababu mahali ulipo ni eneo la kutoa maombi. Pia unapendekezwa kumwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu msamaha kwa dhati iwezekanavyo, kwa sababu mahali ulipo ni eneo la msamaha. Unapendekezwa kumwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu kwa kutatua mahitaji yako kwa umakini iwezekanavyo, kwa sababu mahali ulipo ni eneo la kujibu mahitaji.
