Virtues, description, and recitation method of ANOTHER ZIYARAT OF H. BAQIYATULLAH (A.T.F.S.) as recorded in Shia traditions.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيْفَةَ اللهِ

Peace be upon you, O vicegerent of Allah and vicegerent of

وَ خَلِيْفَةَ أَبَآئِهِ الْمَهْدِيِّيْنَ

your well-guided fathers. Peace be upon you, O successor of

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَصِيَّ الْاَوْصِيَاءِ الْمَاضِيْنَ

the past successors (of the Prophets). Peace be upon you, O

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَافِظَ اَسْرَارٍ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

keeper of the secrets of the Lord of the worlds. Peace be

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَقِيَّةَ اللهِ مِنَ الصَّفَوَةِ الْمُنْتَجَبِيْنَ

upon you, O Allah's remainder from among the elite, select

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْاَنْوَارِ الزَّاهِرَةِ

ones. Peace be upon you, O son of the luminous lights.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْاَعْلَامِ الْبَاهِرَةِ

Peace be upon you, O son of the splendid signs. Peace be

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْعِثْرَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ

upon you, O son of the immaculate progeny. Peace be upon

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَعْدِنَ الْعُلَوْمِ النَّبَوِيَّةِ

you, O essence of the Prophetic knowledge. Peace be upon

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَابَ اللهِ

الَذِيْ لَا يُؤْثَى اِلَا مِنْهُ

you, O Allah's gate; the only gate from which one can enter to

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَبِيْلَ اللهِ

Him. Peace be upon you, O Allah's course that perdition will

الَّذِيْ مَنْ سَلَكَ غَيْرَهُ هَلَكَ

be the result of anyone who takes other than it. Peace be

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَاظِرَ شَجَرَةٍ طُوْبُى وَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهُى

upon you, O observer of the Tree of Bliss (tübà) and the

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُوْرَ اللهِ الَّذِيْ لَا يُظفَى

Farthest Lot-tree. Peace be upon you, O Allah's light that

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَةَ اللهِ الَتِيْ لَا تَخْفَى

never extinguishes. Peace be upon you, O Allah's decisive

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَةَ اللهِ

argument that is never hidden. Peace be upon you, O Allah's

عَلَى مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ السَّمَاءِ

decisive argument against all those on the earth and in the

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ سَلَامَ مَنْ عَرَفَكَ بِمَا عَرَّقَكَ بِهِ الله

heavens. Peace be upon you; a salutation of one who

وَ نَعَتَكَ بِبَعْض نُعُوْتِكَ

recognizes you as exactly as Allah has introduced you and

الَّتِي اَنْتَ اَهْلُهَا وَ فَوْقَهَا

one who mentions only some of your characteristics that you

آَشهَدُ آَنَّكَ الْحُجَةُ عَلَى مَنْ مَضى وَ مَنْ بَقِيَ

are worthy of and even more. I bear witness that you are the

وَ آَنَّ حِزْبَكَ هُمُ الْغَالِبُوْنَ

argument against the past and the coming generations, your

وَ اَوْلِيَاءَكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُوْنَ

party are the true triumphant, your friends are the true

وَ اَعْدَآءَكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ

winners, your enemies are truly losers, you are the keeper of

وَ أَنَّكَ خَازِنُ كُلِّ عِلْمِ

the entire knowledge, you are the opener of all closed things,

وَ فَاتِقُ كُلِّ رَثْق

وَ مُحَقَّقُ كُلِّ حَقٌّ

you are the establisher of all truths, and you are the

وَ مُبْطِلُ كُلِّ بَاطِلٍ

رَضِيْتُكَ يَا مَؤْلَايَ اِمَامًا وَ هَادِيًا

eradicator of all wrong things. O my master, I accept you as

وَ وَلِيًّا وَ مُرْشِدًا

لَاَ اَبْتَغِي بِكَ بَدَلًا

my leader, guide, master, and adviser. I never seek any

وَ لَا اَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِكَ وَلِيَّا

alternative and I never betake myself any master save You. l

اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ الْحَقُّ الثَّابِثُ

bear witness that you are verily the unchanging truth that is

الَّذِيْ لَا عَيْبَ فِيْهِ

وَ اَنَّ وَعْدَ اللهِ فِيْكَ حَقُّ

free of any defect and that Allah's promise concerning you is

لَا اَرْتَابُ لِطُوْلِ الْغَيْبَةِ وَ بُعْدِ الْاَمَدِ

so true that I never doubt no matter how long the occultation

وَ لَا أَتَحَيَّرُ مَعَ مَنْ جَهِلَكَ وَ جَهِلَ بِكَ

will take and the time (of your advent) will be far and I will

مُنْتَظِرْ مُتَوَقَّعُ لايَّامِكَ

never have misgivings like those who ignore you and ignore

وَاَنْتَ الشَّافِعُ الَّذِيْ لَا يُنَازَعُ [تْنَازَغُ]

the truth that you represent and I am waiting and expecting

وَ الَوَلِيُّ الَذِيْ لَا يُدَافَعُ [تُدَافَعُ]

your age, for you are the unmatched intercessor and the

ذَخَرَكَ اللهُ لِنُضرَةِ الدِّيْنِ

irrefutable master. Allah has saved you for the support of the

وَ اِغْزَازِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

religion, for the fortification of the believers, and for

وَ الْإِنْتِقَامِ مِنَ الْجَاحِدِيْنَ الْمَارِقِيْنَ.

retaliating upon the deniers and the apostates. I bear witness

اَشْهَدُ آَنَّ بِوِلَايَتِكَ تُقْبَلُ الْاَعْمَالَ

that through the loyalty to you, deeds are approved, acts are

وَ تُزَكَّى الْاَفْعَالُ

purified, rewards are doubled, and punishments for

وَ تُضَاعَفُ الْحَسَنَاتُ

وَ تُمْحَى السَّيِّئَاتُ

wrongdoings are erased. Therefore, he who bears loyalty to

فَمَنْ جَآءَ بِوِلَايَتِكَ

وَ اعْتَرَفَ بِاِمَامَتِكَ

you and recognizes your Imamate will have his deeds

قُبِلَتْ اَعْمَالُهُ

وَ صُدِّقَتْ اَقْوَالَهُ

وَ تَضَاعَفَتْ حَسَنَاتُهُ

approved, his sayings credited, his rewards doubled, and his

وَ مُحِيَثْ سَيِّئَاتُهُ

wrongdoings erased; while if he rejects loyalty to you, ignores

وَ مَنْ عَدَلَ عَنْ وِلَايَتِكَ

وَ جَهِلَ مَعْرِفْتَكَ

وَ اسْتَبْدَلَ بِكَ غَيْرَكَ

the recognition of you, and follows anyone else, Allah shall

كَبَّهُ اللهُ عَلَى مِنْخَرِهِ فِيْ النَّارِ

throw him down in Helltire on the nose, shall never approve

وَ لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ لَهُ عَمَلَا

وَ لَمُ يُقِمْ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَزْنَا

of any of his acts, and shall never set up a balance for him on

أُشهدُ اللهَ وَ أُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَهُ

the Day of Resurrection. I ask Allah and His angels and you,

وَ أَشهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ بِهُذَا

my master, to testify to this for me, the outward of this

ظَاهِرُهُ كَبَاطِنِهِ

وَ سِرُّهُ كَعَلانِيَتِهِ

declaration is as same as its inward, and its secret is as

وَ آَنْتَ الشَّاهِدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ

same as its overtness, and you are the witness on this

وَ هُوَ عَهْدِيَ اِلَيْكَ

declaration, and this is my pledge with you and my covenant

وَ مِيْتَاقِيْ لَدَيْكَ

اِذْ أَنْتَ نِظَامُ الدِّيْنِ

to you since you are verily the system of the religion, the

وَ يَغْسُوْبُ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ

وَ عِزُّ الْمُوَحَّدِيْنَ

leader of the pious ones, and the dignity of the monotheists.

وَ بِذْلِكَ اَمَرَنِيْ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

This is the command of the Lord of the Worlds to me. Even if

فَلَوْ تَطَاوَلَتِ الدُّهُوْرُ

وَ تَمَادَتِ الْاَعْمَارُ [الْاَعْصَارُ]

times take longer periods and ages extend, this will increase

لَمْ اَزْدَدَ فِيْكَ اِلَا يَقِيْنًا

وَ لَكَ اِلَّا حُبًّا

in me nothing but more belief in you, love for you, reliance on

وَ عَلَيْكَ اِلّا مُثَكَلًا وَ مُعْتَمَدًا [تَوَكُّلًا وَ اِعْتِمَادًا]

وَ لِظُهُوْرِكَ اِلَّا مُتَوَقِّعًا وَ مُنْتَظَرًا [تَوَقُّعًا وَ انْتِظَارًا]

وَ لِجِهَادِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مُتَرَقَبًا [اِلَا تَرَقَبًا]

and trust in you, anticipation and expectation of your advent,

فَابْذُلُ نَفْسِيْ وَ مَالِيْ

and waiting to strive hard in your presence. So, I sacrifice

وَ وَلَدِيْ وَ اَهْلِيْ

myself, my fortune, my sons, my family members, and all

وَ جَمِيْعَ مَا خَوَّلنِيْ رَبَّيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

that which my Lord has granted me for your sake and for

وَ التَصَرُّفَ بَيْنَ آَمْرِكَ وَ نَهْيِكَ

obeying your orders and refraining from that which you order

مَوْلَايَ فَاِنْ اَدْرَكْتُ آَيَّامَكَ الزَّاهِرَةَ

me not to do. O my master, If I catch your thriving days and

وَ آَعْلَامَكَ الْبَاهِرَةَ

فَهَا أَنَا ذَا عَبْدُكَ

see your splendid signs, then, here 1, a servant of you, am

الْمُتَصَرِّفَ بَيْنَ آَمْرِكَ وَ نَهْيِكَ

yielding to your orders and abstaining from that which you

أَرْجُوْ بِهِ الشَّهَادَةَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

order me not to do. Through all that, I hope for martyrdom in

وَ الْفَوْزَ لَدَيْكَ

your presence and success in your view. O my master, but if

مَؤْلَايَ فَاِنْ اَذْرَكَنِي الْمَؤْتُ قَبْلَ ظُهُوْرِكَ

death comes upon me before your advent, then I beseech

فَانَّيَ أَتَوَسَّلَ بِكَ

you and your immaculate fathers to mediate for me before

وَ بِأبَآئِكَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ إِلَى اللهِ تَعَالَى

Allah the All-exalted Whom I pray to send blessings upon

وَ اساَلْهُ آَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَل مُحَمَّدٍ

Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and to decide

وَ آَنْ يَجْعَلَ لِيْ كَرَّةً فِيْ ظُهُوْرِكَ

for me a return after your advent and a second life during

وَ رَجْعَةً فِي اَيَّامِكَ

لِاَبْلِغَ مِنْ طَاعَتِكَ مُرَادِيْ

your days so that I will attain obedience to you, which is my

وَ اَشْفِيَ مِنْ اَعْدَآئِكَ فُؤَادِيْ

desire, and to heal my heart from your enemies. O my

مَوْلَايَ وَقَفْتُ فِيْ زِيَارَتِكَ

master, while I am visiting you, I am standing in the position

مَوْقِفَ الْخَاطِئِيْنَ النَّادِمِيْنَ

of the repentant wrongdoers, who fear the chastisement of

الْخَائِفِيْنَ مِنْ عِقَابٍ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

the Lord of the Worlds and I am, meanwhile, depending upon

وَ قَدِ اتَّكَلْتُ عَلَى شَفَاعَتِكَ

وَ رَجَوْتُ بِمُوَالاتِكَ وَ شَفَاعَتِكَ

your intercession for me and I, through my loyalty to you and

مَحْوَ ذَنُوبِيْ

your intercession for me, wish for eradication of my sins,

وَ سَشْرَ عُيُوْبِيْ

وَ مَعْفِرَةَ زَللِيْ

covering of my defects, and forgiveness of my slips. So, 0

فَكُنْ لِوَلِيَّكَ يَا مَؤْلَايَ

my master, (please) help me— your servant— to achieve my

عِنْدَ تَحْقِيْقِ اَمَلِهِ

وَ اساَلِ اللهَ غُفْرَانَ زَللةِ

hope and (please) ask Allah to forgive my slips. Verily, l am

فَقَدْ تَعَلَّقَ بِحَبْلِكَ

وَ تَمَسَّكَ بِوِلَايَتِكَ

clinging to your rope, holding on my loyalty to you, and

وَ تَبَرَّاَ مِنْ اَعْدَآئِكَ

declaring my disavowal of your enemies. O Allah, (please)

اَللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِهِ

وَ اَنْجِزْ لِوَلِيِّكَ مَا وَعَدْتَهُ.

bless Muhammad and his Household and fulfill Your promise

اللَّهُمَّ اَظْهِرْ كَلِمَتَهُ

to Your Vicegerent. O Allah, (please) make prevalent his

وَ اَغْلِ دَعْوَتَهُ

وَ انْصُرْهُ عَلَى عَدُوِّهِ وَ عَدُوِّكَ

word, elevate his mission, and support him against Your and

يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

his enemies, O Lord of the Worlds! O Allah, (please) send

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of

وَ اَظْهِرْ كَلِمَتَكَ الثَّآمَةَ

Muhammad and allow Your Perfect Word, Your concealed

وَ مُغَيِّبَكَ فِي أَرْضِكَ

one in Your lands, the afraid, and the vigilant, to reappear. O

الْخَائِفَ الْمُتَرَقَبَ

Allah, (please) support him with powerful support and give

اَللَهُمَّ انْصُرْهُ نَضرًا عَزِيزًا

him a nigh victory. O Allah, (please) fortify the religion

وَ افْتَحْ لَهُ فَتْحًا يَسِيْرًا

اَللَّهُمّ وَ اعِزَّ بِهِ الدِّيْنَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُوْلِ

وَ اَظَلِعْ بِهِ الْحَقَّ بَعْدَ الْأُفُوْلِ

through him after it has been sluggish, demonstrate the truth

وَ اَجْل بِهِ الظَّلْمَةَ

through him after it has declined, remove darkness through

وَ اكْشِفُ بِهِ الْغُمَّةَ

him, and relieve the grief through him. O Allah, (please)

اَللَّهُمَّ وَ امِنْ بِهِ الْبِلَادَ

spread security over the lands through him and guide the

وَاهْدِ بِهِ الْعِبَادَ

اَللَّهُمَّ امْلَا بِهِ الْارْضَ عَدْلا وَ قِسْط

servants (of You) through him. O Allah, (please) fill the earth

كَمَا مُلِئّثْ ظُلْمًا وَ جَوْرًا

with justice and equality through him as it is filled with

اِنَّكَ سَمِيْعٌ مُجِيْبٌ

injustice and wrong. Verily, You are Allhearing and

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ

Responding. Peace be upon you, O Allah's vicegerent.

اَئْذَنْ لِوَلِيِّكَ فِي الدُّخَوْلِ اِلَى حَرَمِكَ

(please) permit me, your servant, to enter your sanctuary.

صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْكَ

May Allah's blessings be upon you and upon your

وَ عَلَى اَبَآئِكَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ

immaculate fathers. Allah's mercy and benedictions be upon

وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.

you.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

In the Name of Allah؛ the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ اَللهُ اَكْبَر

Allah is the Most Great. Allah is the Most Great. Allah is the

لَا الْهَ اِلا اللَهُ

Most Great. There is no god save Allah. Allah is the Most

وَ اللهُ اَكْبَرُ وَ للهِ الْحَمْدُ

Great and to Allah be all praise. All praise be to Allah Who

الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ هَدَانَا لِهَذَا

has guided us to this, made us discriminate between His

وَ عَرَّفَنَا اَوْلِيَاءَهُ وَ اَعْدَاءَهُ

friends and enemies, granted us success to visit our lmams,

وَ وَفَّقَنَا لِزِيَارَةِ اَئِمَتِنَا

وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعَانِدِيْنَ النَّاصِبِيْنَ

and has not made us of the obdurate antagonists (of the

وَ لَا مِنَ الْغُلَاةِ الْمُفَوَّضِيْنَ

وَلَا مِنَ الْمُرْتَابِينَ الْمُقَصِّرِيْنَ

truth), nor of the immoderate indeterminists, nor of the

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى وَلِيَّ اللهِ وَ ابْنِ اَوْلِيَآئِهِ

suspicious and negligent. Peace be upon Allah's vicegerent

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْمُدَّخَرِ لِكَرَامَةٍ اَوْلِيَاءِ اللهِ

and son of His vicegerents. Peace be upon the one saved for

وَ بَوَارِ اَعْدَآئِهِ

achieving dignity of Allah's intimate servants and for ruining

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى النُّوْرِ

Allah's enemies. Peace be upon the light that the people of

الَّذِيّ اَرَادَ اَهْلُ الْكُفْرِ اِظفَاءَهُ

atheism intend to extinguish; but Allah would not allow but

فَابَى اللهُ اِلَّا اَنْ يُتِمَّ نُوْرَهُ بِكُرْهِهِمْ

that His light should be perfected, despite their contempt. He

وَ اَيَّدَهُ بِالْحَيَاةِ

thus supported him with survival so that He shall make

حَثَّى يُظْهِرَ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْحَقَّ بِرَغْمِهِمْ

prevalent the truth at his hands against their will. l bear

اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ اللهَ اضطَفَاكَ صَغِيْرًا

witness that Allah has chosen you since you were little and

وَ اَكْمَلَ لَكَ عُلُوْمَهُ كَبِيْرًا

perfected His knowledge for you when you grew up; and that

وَ انَكَ حَيٌّ لَا تَمُوْتُ

you are alive and you will not die before you efface all idols

حَثُّى تُبطِلَ الْحِبْتَ وَ الطَّاغُوْتَ.

اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ

and false deities. O Allah, (please) bless him and his

وَ عَلَى خُدَّامِهِ وَ اَعْوَانِهِ عَلَى غَيْبَتِهِ وَ نَأْبِهِ

وَ اسْتُزْهُ سَشْرًا عَزِيْزًا

servants and those who helped him to occult and hide from

وَ اجْعَل لَهُ مَعْقِلَا حَرِيْزًا

sights, cover him with invulnerable covering, arrange for him

وَ اشدُدِ اللَّهُمَّ وَطْاَتَكَ عَلَى مُعَانِدِيْهِ

an invincible haven, increase, O Allah, Your intensity on those

وَ احرُسْ مَوَالِيَهُ وَ زَائِرِيْهِ

who resist him obdurately, and guard his loyalists and

اَللَّهُمَّ كَمَا جَعَلْتَ قَلْبِيْ بِذِكْرِهِ مَعْمُوْرًا

visitors. O Allah, just as You have made my heart full of

فَاجْعَلْ سِلَاجِيْ بِنُصْرَتِهِ مَشْهُوْرًا

reference to him, so also (please) make my weapon prepared

وَ اِنْ حَالَ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَ لِقَائِهِ

in support of him. If death that You have made inescapable

الْمَوْتُ الَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَهُ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ حَثْمًا

on Your servants and You have made inevitably predestined

وَ اَقْدَزْتَ بِهِ عَلَى خَلِيْقَتِكَ رَغْمَا

فَابْعَثْنِيْ عِنْدَ خُرُوْجِهِ

on Your creatures impedes me from meeting him, then

ظَاهِرًا مِنْ حُفْرَتِيْ

(please) restore me to life at his advent, coming out from my

مُؤْتَزِرًا كَفَنِيْ

hole (i.e. grave), and using my shroud as my garment so that

حَثّى أُجَاهِدَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ

فِي الصَّفَّ الَّذِي اَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى آَهْلِهِ

I will fight strivingly in his presence in the line whose people

فِيْ كِتَابِكَ فَقُلْتَ

have been praised by You in You Book where You say,".

كَاَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوْصٌ

...as if

اَللّهُمَّ طَالَ الْاِنْتِظَارُ

they were a firm and compact wall." O Allah, too long has

وَ شَمِتَ مِنَّا الْفُجَارُ

been the expectation, the wicked are gloating at our

وَ صَعْبَ عَلَيْنَا الْاِنْتِصَارُ

misfortune, and victory has been difficult for us. O Allah,

اَللّهُمَّ اَرِنَا وَجِهَ وَلِيِّكَ الْمَيْمُوْنَ

(please) show us the blessed face of Your vicegerent in our

فِيْ حَيَاتِنَا وَ بَعْدَ الْمَنُوْنِ.

lifetimes and after death. O Allah, I profess of the Return as

اَللَهُمَّ إِنَّي آَدِيْنُ لَكَ بِالرَّجْعَةِ

بَيْنَ يَدَيْ صَاحِبِ هَذِهِ البُقْعَةِ

my faith in the presence of the owner of this area. Il beseech

الْغَوْثَ الغَوْثَ الغَوْنَ

يَا صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ

forl Relief, relief, relief. O Patron of the Age! I have ruptured

قَطَعتُ فِي وُصْلَتِكَ الْخُلَانَ

my relations with many friends in order to build good

وَ هَجَرْتُ لِزِيَارَتِكَ الْأَوْطَانَ

relations with you, I have deserted my homeland in order to

وَ اَخْفَيْتُ آَمْرِيْ عَنْ آَهْلِ الْبُلْدَانِ

visit you, and I have concealed my intention from the peoples

لِتَكُوْنَ شَفِيْعًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ وَ رَبِّيْ

of the towns so that you may be my intercessor with your

وَ إِلَى اَبَآئِكَ وَ مَوَالِيَّ

and my Lord and with your fathers and my masters, seeking

فِي حُسْنِ التَّوْفِيْقِ لِيْ

وَ اِسْبَاغِ النِّعْمَةِ عَليَّ

excellence of success, conterral of bounties, and making

وَ سَوْقِ الْإِحسَانِ إِلَيَّ

charitable acts run towards me. O Allah, (please) send

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَل مُحَمَّدٍ

blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of

اَضْحَابٍ الْحَقَّ

وَ قَادَةِ الْخَلْقِ

Muhammad the rightful ones and the leaders of the

وَ اسْتَجِبْ مِنَّي مَا دَعَوْثُكَ

creatures, and (please) respond to me in what l have

وَ اَغْطِنِيْ مَا لَمْ اَنْطِقْ بِهِ فِيْ دُعَآئِيْ

besought You for and grant me all that which I have not

مِنْ صَلَاحِ دِيْنِيْ وَ دُنْيَايَ

mentioned in my prayer, such as the uprightness of my faith

اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ

and my worldly affairs. You are verily worthy of praise and

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ.

worthy of glory. May Allah bless Muhammad and his Immaculate Household.

اَللَهُمَّ عَبْدُكَ الزَّائِرُ

O Allah, I-Your visiting servant— am in the yard of Your

فِيْ فِنَاءِ وَلِيِّكَ الْمَزُوْرِ

visited vicegerent the obedience to whom has been made

الّذِي فَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُ عَلَى الْعَبِيْدِ وَ الْاَحْرَارِ

obligatory by You on the slaves and the free and through

وَ اَنْقَذْتَ بِهِ اَوْلِيَآءَكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ

whom You shall save Your intimate servants from the

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا زِيَارَةً مَقْبُوْلَةً

chastisement of Hellfire. O Allah, (please) decide it to be an

ذَاتَ دُعَاءِ مُسْتَجَابٍ

admitted visitation of a granted prayer from one who gives

مِنْ مُصَدِّقٍ بِوَلِيِّكَ غَيْرِ مُرْتَابٍ

full credence to Your vicegerent and who never suspects

اَللهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ أخِرَ الْعَهْدِ بِهِ وَلَا بِزِيَارَتِهِ

him. O Allah, (please) do not decide this to be the last of my

وَ لَا تَقْطَع آَثَرِيْ مِنْ مَشْهَدِهِ

presence and visitation to him and do not cut off my traces

وَ زِيَارَةٍ أَبِيْهِ وَ جَدِّهِ

in his shrine and in visitation to his father and grandfather. O

اَللَّهُمَّ اخْلُف عَلَيَّ نَفَقَتِيْ

Allah, (please) compensate for me my expenditure, make me

وَ انْفَعْنِيْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِيْ

benefit from the sustenance that You have provided me in

فِيْ دُنْيَايَ وَ اَخِرَتِيْ

my worldly life and in my Next Life, and do the same to my

لِيْ وَ لإِخْوَانِي وَ اَبَوَيَّ

brothers, parents, and all of my offspring. I entrust you with

وَ جَمِيْعِ عِثْرَتِيّ

اَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللهَ آَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ

الَّذِيْ يَفُوْزُ بِهِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ

Allah, O Leader through whom the believers will win and at

وَ يَهْلِكُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ الْكَافِرُوْنَ الْمُكَذِّبُوْنَ

whose hands the belying unbelievers will perish. O my

يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا ابْنَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيَّ

master! O son of al-Hasan the son of 'Ali, I have come to you

حِثْثُكَ زَآئِرًا لَكَ وَ لِاَبِيْكَ وَ جَدِّكَ

visiting you, your father, and your grandfather, being certain

مُتَيَقَنَا الْفَوْزَ بِكُمْ

مُعْتَقِدًا اِمَامَتَكُمْ

of winning through you, and having full faith in your Imamate.

اَللهُمَّ اكْتُبْ هَذِهِ الشَّهَادَةَ وَ الزِّيَارَةَ لِيْ

O Allah, (please) write down this testimony and visitation to

عِنْدَكَ فِيْ عِلَّيِّيْنَ

me with You in the Most Elevated Place, make me attain that

وَ بَلَّغْنِي بَلَاغَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ

which is attained by the righteous ones, and make me

وَ انْفَغْنِيْ بِحْبَّهِمْ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.

benefit by my love for them, O Lord of the Worlds.
