Virtues, description, and recitation method of ANOTHER SPECIAL ZIYARAT OF IMAM MOHAMMAD TAQI as recorded in Shia traditions.
اَللهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيَّ
You may then pray Almighty Allah to grant you your personal needs. You may then offer two prayers with four units under the dome that is over the tomb of Imam al-Jawad ('a) to the side
اِلإِمَامِ التَّقِيِّ التَّقِيِّ
of his head; a prayer for visiting Imam al-Kazim ('a) and another prayer for visiting Imam al-Jawad ('a).
الرَّضِيِّ الْمَرْضِيِّ
Do not offer a prayer to the side of Imam al-Kazim's head,
وَ حُجَتِكَ عَلَى مَنْ فَوْقَ الْأَرْضِ
because this side is facing the graves of the people ot
وَ مَنْ تَحْتَ التَّرْى
Quraysh, which is impermissible to be taken as direction of
صَلْوةً كَثِيْرَةً
prayer (i.e. kiblah). As understood from the words of Shaykh al-Sadug, the tomb of Imam al-Kazim ('a) was separated from the tomb of Imam al-Jawad ('a) by an independent dome and gate. So, visitors used to leave this dome to come under the dome of Imam al- Jawad ('a), which was thereby an independent building. ANOTHER FORM OF ZIYARAH OF IMAM AL-JAWAD O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad the son of
نَامِيَةً زَاكِيَةً مُبَارَكَةً
'Ali, the pious, bright, pleasing, and pleased Imam and Your argument against all those who are on the earth and those
مُتَوَاصِلَةً مُتَرَادِفَةً مُتَوَاتِرَةً
Who are beneath the ground with such blessings that are
كَافْضَلِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى اَحَدٍ مِنْ اَوْلِيَآئِكَ
plentiful, ever-increasing, pure, blessed, continuous, consecutive, and uninterrupted and with the most excellent
وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ
blessings that You have ever conferred upon any of Your
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُوْرَ اللهِ
intimate servants. And peace be upon you, O Allah's most
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللهِ
intimate servant. Peace be upon you, O Allah's brightness.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اِمَامَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
Peace be upon you, O Allah's argument. Peace be upon you,
وَ وَارِثَ عِلْمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
O leader of the believers, inheritor of the knowledge of the
وَ سُلَالَةَ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ
Prophets, and descendant of the Prophets' successors.
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُوْرَ اللهِ فِيْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ
Peace be upon you, O Allah's light in the darkness of the
أَتَيْثُكَ زَآئِرًا
earth. l have come to you, visiting you, recognizing your right,
عَارِفًا بِحَقَّكَ
incurring the animosity of your enemies, and showing loyalty
مُعَادِيًا لِاَعْدَائِكَ
to your loyalists. So,(please)intercede for me with your Lord.
مُوَالِيَا لِاوْلِيَائِكَ
You may then pray Almighty Allah to grant you your personal needs. You may then offer two prayers with four units under the dome that is over the tomb of Imam alJawad ('a) to the side of his head; a prayer for visiting Imam alkazim ('a) and
فاشفَعْ لِيْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ.
another prayer for visiting Imam alJawad ('a). Do not offer a prayer to the side of Imam alKazim's head, because this side is facing the graves of the people of Quraysh, which is impermissible to be taken as direction of prayer (i.e. kiblah). As understood from the words of Shaykh alSaduq, the tomb of lmam alKazim ('a) was separated from the tomb of lmam alJawad ('a) by an independent dome and gate. So, visitors used to leave this dome to come under the dome of Imam alJawad ('a), which was thereby an independent building.
