Virtues, description, and recitation method of AAMAL AT THE FIFTH COLUMN (SUTOON) as recorded in Shia traditions.

اَللَّهُمَ إِنَّي اَساَلُكَ بِجَمِيْعِ اَسْمَآئِكَ كُلَّهَا

places® O Allah, l beseech You in the name of all Your Names: those

مَا عَلِمْنَا مِنْهَا وَ مَا لَا نَعْلَمُ

Which we know and those which we do not. And l beseech

وَ اَسآَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيمِ الْاَعْظَمِ

You in the name of Your Great, All-great, grand, and All-grand

الْكَبِيْرِ الْاَكْبَرِ

الَّذِيْ مَنْ دَعَاكَ بِهِ اَجَبْتَهُ

Name, which if one beseeches You by it, You will respond to

وَ مَنْ سَاَلَكَ بِهِ اَعْطَيْتَهُ

him, if one begs you by it, You will give him, if one asks You

وَ مَنِ اسْتَنْصَرَكَ بِهِ نَصَرْتَهُ

وَ مَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَكَ بِهِ غَفَزْتَ لَهُ

for victory by it, You will give him victory, if one asks for Your

وَ مَنِ اسْتَعَانَكَ بِهِ اَعَتْتَهُ

forgiveness by it, You will forgive him, if one seeks Your aid

وَ مَن اسْتَرْزَقَكَ بِهِ رَزَقْتَهُ

by it, You will aid him, if one solicits You by it for sustenance,

وَ مَنِ اسْتَغَاثَكَ بِهِ آَغَثتَهُ

You will grant him sustenance, if one seeks Your help by it:

وَ مَن اسْتَرْحَمَكَ بِهِ رَجِمْتَهُ

You will help him, if one begs Your , mercy by it, You will have

وَ مَنِ اسْتَجَارَكَ بِهِ آَجَرْتَهُ

mercy upon him, if one seeks refuge with You by it, You will

وَ مَنْ تَوَكِّلَ عَلَيْكَ بِهِ كَفَيْتَهُ

protect him, if one asks for Your support by it, You will

وَ مَن اسْتَعْصَمَكَ بِهِ عَصَمْتَهُ

support him, if one seeks Your shield by it, You will guard

وَ مَنِ اسْتَنْقَذَكَ بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ اَنْقَذْتَهُ

him, if one seeks You by it to save him from Hellfire, You will

وَ مَنِ اسْتَعْطَفَكَ بِهِ تَعَطَّفْتَ لَهُ

save him, if one seeks Your kindness by it, You will be kind to

وَ مَنْ آَمَّلَكَ بِهِ اَعْطَيتَهُ

him, and if one puts hope in You by it, You will give him: the

الَّذِي اتَّخَذْتَ بِهِ اَدَمَ صَفِيًّا

Name by which You have betaken Adam as Your choice,

وَ نُوْحًا نَجِيًّا

Noah as Your confidant, Abraham as Your intimate friend,

وَ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ خَلِيْلًا

وَ مُؤْسى كَلِيْمًا

وَ عِيْسى رُوْحًا

Moses as the one spoken by You, Jesus as Your spirit,

وَ مُحَمَّدًا حَبِيْبًا

Muhammad as Your most beloved one, and 'Ali as Your

وَ عَلِيًّا وَصِيًّا

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ

Prophet's successor, may Your blessings be upon all of them,

آَنْ تَقْضِيَ لِي حَوَائِجِيْ

(l beseech You) to grant me my requests, overlook my past

وَ تَغْفُوَ عَمَّا سَلَفَ مِنْ ذُنُوْبِيْ

وَ تَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيَّ بِمَا أَنْتَ اَهْلُهُ

sins, and confer upon me with that which befits You as well

وَ لِجَمِيْعِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لِلدُّنْيَا وَ الْأَخِرَةِ

as upon all the believing men and women in this world and

يَا مُفَرِّجَ هَمّ الْمَهْمُؤْمِيْنَ

the world to come. O He Who relieves the grievances of the

وَ يَا غِيَاتَ الْمَلْهُوْفِيْنَ

لَا إِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ

aggrieved ones! O He Who aids the confused ones! There is

سُبْحَانَكَ يَا رَبَّ العَالمِيْنَ.

no god but You. All glory be to You, O Lord of the worlds.

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى اَبِيْنَا ادَمَ وَ أُمِّنَا حَوَّآءَ.......

Peace be upon our father Adam and our mother Eve...
