Al-Hashr (الحشر)Surah 59 • 25 Verses • Arabic, English & Kiswahili
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye Rehema na Mwenye Kurehemu.

            بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
            ﴿١﴾
          
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.

            سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
            ﴿٢﴾
          
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Kila kilicho mbinguni na kila kilicho duniani kinamsifu Mwenyezi Mungu, naye ni Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hekima.

            هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِن دِيَـٰرِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ ٱلْحَشْرِ ۚ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ ۖ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا۟ ۖ وَقَذَفَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعْبَ ۚ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَٱعْتَبِرُوا۟ يَـٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ
            ﴿٣﴾
          
It is He who expelled the disbelievers among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah, but Allah came to them from where they did not expect, and He cast terror into their hearts. They destroyed their houses by their own hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision!
Yeye ndiye aliwatoa wakafiri miongoni mwa Watu wa Kitabu kutoka makazi yao wakati wa kikao cha kwanza. Huku hamkufikiria wangeondoka, na wakadhani kuwa ngome zao zingewakinga dhidi ya Mwenyezi Mungu, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu akawafikia kutoka walipo wasitarajia, na akawachoma hofu mioyoni mwao. Waliwaharibu nyumba zao kwa mikono yao wenyewe na mikono ya waumini. Basi chukua onyo, enyi watu wa kuona!

            وَلَوْلَآ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْجَلَآءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ
            ﴿٤﴾
          
And if Allah had not decreed exile for them, He would have punished them in this world; and for them is the punishment of the Fire in the Hereafter.
Na kama Mwenyezi Mungu asingekuwa ametoa uhamisho kwao, ingekuwa amewaadhibu hapa duniani; na kwao kuna adhabu ya Moto katika Akhera.

            ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَآقُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۖ وَمَن يُشَآقِّ ٱللَّهَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
            ﴿٥﴾
          
That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah—then indeed, Allah is Severe in punishment.
Hii ni kwa sababu walipinga Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake. Na yeyote anaye kabiliana na Mwenyezi Mungu—hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni mkali katika adhabu.

            مَا قَطَعْتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَآئمَةً عَلَىٰٓ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِىَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
            ﴿٦﴾
          
Whatever palm trees you cut down or leave standing on their roots, it is by Allah’s permission so that He might disgrace the defiantly disobedient.
Yote mnayoyakata au mnaoyaacha likiwa kwenye mizizi yake ni kwa idhini ya Mwenyezi Mungu ili Awashubishe wenye uasi.

            وَمَآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَوْجَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَيْلٍۢ وَلَا رِكَابٍۢ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسَلِّطُ رُسُلَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ
            ﴿٧﴾
          
And whatever Allah gives as spoils to His Messenger from them—you did not ride any horses or camels for it—but Allah gives His messengers power over whomever He wills. And Allah is over all things competent.
Na kila kitu ambacho Mwenyezi Mungu amempa Mtume wake kutoka kwao—hamkuendeshi farasi au ngamia—lakini Mwenyezi Mungu hutoa Wajumbe wake juu ya yeyote anayetaka. Mwenyezi Mungu ana uwezo wa kila kitu.

            مَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْقُرَىٰ فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِ وَابْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ كَىْ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةًۢ بَيْنَ ٱلْأَغْنِيَآءِ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَىٰكُمْ عَنْهُ فَٱنتَهُوا۟ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
            ﴿٨﴾
          
Whatever Allah gives as spoils to His Messenger from the people of the towns—it is for Allah, His Messenger, the relatives, the orphans, the needy, and the traveler—so that it may not be exclusively for the rich among you. And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatever he forbids you from, abstain. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Severe in punishment.
Kila kitu ambacho Mwenyezi Mungu amempa Mtume wake kutoka kwa watu wa miji—ni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, Mtume wake, ndugu, yatima, masikini, na msafiri—ili kisibaki kwa matajiri tu miongoni mwa nyinyi. Na kila kitu ambacho Mtume anakupa, chukulia; na kila kitu ambacho anakuzuia, acha. Muwe na hofu ya Mwenyezi Mungu; hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni mkali katika adhabu.

            لِلْفُقَرَآءِ ٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا۟ مِن دِيَـٰرِهِمْ وَأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًۭا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا وَيَنصُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ
            ﴿٩﴾
          
It is for the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their wealth, seeking the bounty of Allah and His pleasure, and supporting Allah and His Messenger. They are indeed the truthful.
Ni kwa ajili ya maskini wahijiri waliotoroshwa kutoka makazi yao na mali zao, wakitafuta neema na ridha ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na kusaidia Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake. Hawa ndiyo wathibitisho.

            وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُو ٱلدَّارَ وَٱلْإِيمَـٰنَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِى صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةًۭ مِّمَّآ أُوتُوا۟ وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌۭ ۚ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
            ﴿١٠﴾
          
And those who settled in the land and embraced faith before them, they love those who emigrated to them and do not feel any need in their hearts for what they were given, and they give preference to others over themselves, even though they are in need. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his own soul—these are the successful.
Na wale waliokaa katika ardhi na kuwa na imani kabla yao, wanawapenda wale waliowahiji, na hawajihisi haja ya yale waliyopewa, na wanapendelea wengine juu ya nafsi zao, hata kama wako na upungufu. Na yule anaye epukana na ujinga wa nafsi yake—hao ndiyo waliofanikiwa.

            وَالَّذِينَ جَآءُو مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَٰنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِى قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّۭا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ
            ﴿١١﴾
          
And those who come after them say: 'Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not let hatred grow in our hearts towards those who believe. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.'
Na wale waliofuata baada yao husema: 'Rabbina, tusamehe sisi na ndugu zetu waliotuongoza katika imani, na usitumie chuki mioyoni mwetu kwa wale wanao amini. Rabbina, hakika Wewe ni Mwenye huruma na Mwenye rehema.'

            أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَئِنْ أُخْرِجْتُمْ لَنَخْرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمْ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمْ أَحَدًا أَبَدًۭا وَإِن قُوتِلْتُمْ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
            ﴿١٢﴾
          
Have you not seen those who hypocritically say to their brothers among the disbelievers of the People of the Scripture, 'If you are expelled, we will surely go out with you, and we will never obey anyone against you; and if you are fought, we will surely help you.' But Allah bears witness that they are liars.
Je, hujaona wale wanaodanganya wakisema kwa ndugu zao miongoni mwa wakosefu wa Makazini ya Kitabu: 'Iwapo mtatoroshwa, hakika tutaenda nanyi, na hatutamtii yeyote dhidi yenu; na iwapo mtapigana, hakika tutawasaidia.' Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu ni Shahidi kuwa wao ni waongo.

            لَئِنْ أُخْرِجُوا۟ لَا يَخْرُجُونَ مَعَهُمْ وَلَئِن قُوتِلُوا۟ لَا يَنصُرُونَهُمْ وَلَئِن نَّصَرُوهُمْ لَيُوَلُّنَّ ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ
            ﴿١٣﴾
          
If they were expelled, they would not go out with them; and if they were fought, they would not help them; and if they helped them, they would certainly turn their backs, and then they would not be helped.
Iwapo wangetoroshwa, hawangetoroka pamoja nao; na iwapo wapiganiwe, hawatawasaidia; na iwapo wakiwaasaidia, hakika watageuka nyuma, kisha hawatawaungwana.

            لَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةًۭ فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌۭ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ
            ﴿١٤﴾
          
You are more feared in their hearts than Allah. That is because they are a people who do not understand.
Ninyi mnaogopesha mioyoni mwao zaidi kuliko Mwenyezi Mungu. Hii ni kwa sababu wao ni watu wasio na ufahamu.

            لَا يُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِى قُرًۭى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَآءِ جُدُرٍۭ ۚ بَأْسُهُم بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌۭ ۚ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًۭا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌۭ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ
            ﴿١٥﴾
          
They will not fight you all together except within fortified towns or from behind walls. Their strength is severe among themselves. You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who do not reason.
Hawatapigana nanyi kwa pamoja isipokuwa katika miji iliyofungwa au nyuma ya kuta. Nguvu yao ni kali kati yao wenyewe. Udhanifu wako ni kwamba wako pamoja, lakini mioyo yao imegawanyika. Hii ni kwa sababu wao ni watu wasio na akili.

            كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيبًۭا ۖ ذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ
            ﴿١٦﴾
          
The example of those before them is near; they tasted the consequence of their affair, and they have a painful punishment.
Mfano wa wale waliotangulia karibu ni kama huu; walionya matokeo ya vitendo vyao, na wao wana adhabu chungu.

            كَمَثَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ إِذْ قَالَ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ ٱكْفُرْ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّنكَ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
            ﴿١٧﴾
          
Their example is like that of Satan when he says to man, 'Disbelieve.' But when man disbelieves, he says, 'Indeed, I am disassociated from you; indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds.'
Mfano wao ni kama Shetani akisema kwa mwanadamu: 'Kataa Imani.' Lakini mwanadamu anapokataa, Shetani husema: 'Hakika mimi nimekutenga; hakika ninamuogopa Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola wa walimwengu.'

            فَكَانَ عَـٰقِبَتَهُمَآ أَنَّهُمَا فِى ٱلنَّارِ خَـٰلِدَيْنِ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
            ﴿١٨﴾
          
So their end is that they are in the Fire, abiding therein. And that is the recompense of the wrongdoers.
Basi matokeo yao ni kwamba wako katika Moto, wakibaki humo. Hayo ndilo malipo ya wafuasi wa dhulma.

            يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ اتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلْتَنظُرْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍۢ ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿١٩﴾
          
O you who have believed, fear Allah. Let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Enyi mnao imani, mcha Mungu. Kila nafsi na itazame inayoiwekea kesho, na mcha Mungu. Hakika Allah anafahamu kile mnachofanya.

            وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
            ﴿٢٠﴾
          
And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.
Na msikie kama wale waliomsahau Allah, naye akawasahau wao wenyewe. Hawa ndio wafuasi wa uasi.

            لَا يَسْتَوِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ
            ﴿٢١﴾
          
Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise – they are the successful.
Hawalingani wafuasi wa Moto na wafuasi wa Bustani. Wafuasi wa Bustani – hao ndio waliofanikiwa.

            لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍۢ لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ خَـٰشِعًۭا مُّتَصَدِّعًۭا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿٢٢﴾
          
Had We sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.
Laiti tungetusha Qur'ani hii juu ya mlima, ungeuona ukiinuka kwa unyenyekevu ukivunjika kwa hofu ya Allah. Hivyo tunatoa mifano kwa watu, labda watatafakari.

            هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
            ﴿٢٣﴾
          
He is Allah – there is no deity except Him, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
Yeye ndiye Allah – Hakuna mungu ila Yeye, Mjuzi wa vilivyo fumwa na vilivyo wazi. Yeye ndiye Mwenye Rehema, Mwenye Huruma.

            هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
            ﴿٢٤﴾
          
He is Allah, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Source of Peace, the Faithful, the Protector, the Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.
Yeye ndiye Allah, Mfalme, Mtakatifu, Chanzo cha Amani, Mwenye Imani, Mlinzi, Mwenye Nguvu, Mwenye Kuamuru, Mkuu. Utukufu uwe kwa Allah juu ya wanavyomshirikisha.

            هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُ ٱلْبَارِئُ ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
            ﴿٢٥﴾
          
He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner. To Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Him. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.
Yeye ndiye Allah, Muumba, Mbunifu, Mpangaji. Kwa Yeye ni majina mema yote. Kile kilicho mbinguni na duniani kinasifu Yeye. Na Yeye ndiye Mwenye Nguvu, Mwenye Hekima.
