An-Nahl (النحل)Surah 16 • 129 Verses • Arabic, English & Kiswahili
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye Rehema na Mwenye Kurehemu.

            بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
            ﴿١﴾
          
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.

            أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
            ﴿٢﴾
          
The command of Allah is coming, so do not impatiently urge it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
Amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu imekaribia kuja. Basi msiiharakishe. Ametakasika Yeye na Ameinuka juu kuliko wanavyomshirikisha.

            يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ
            ﴿٣﴾
          
He sends down the angels with the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], 'Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me.'
Anawateremshia Malaika kwa amri yake na Roho kwa anayetaka miongoni mwa waja wake: 'Waonyeni kwamba hapana mungu ila Mimi. Basi nicheni Mimi.'

            خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ تَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
            ﴿٤﴾
          
He created the heavens and the earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him.
Ameyazua mbingu na ardhi kwa Haki. Ametukuka juu ya wanavyomshirikisha.

            خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
            ﴿٥﴾
          
He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary.
Amemuumba mwanadamu kwa tone la manii, mara ghafla akawa mwenye kuleta mabishano waziwazi.

            وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمَ خَلَقَهَا ۗ لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌۭ وَمَنَـٰفِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
            ﴿٦﴾
          
And the grazing livestock He created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.
Na wanyama wa mifugo amewaumba. Mna joto humo na manufaa mengi, na kutokana nao mnakula.

            وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ
            ﴿٧﴾
          
And for you in them is beauty when you rest and when you drive them forth to pasture.
Na kwa ajili yenu ndani yao kuna uzuri mnapopumzika na mnapowapeleka kwenye malisho.

            وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍۢ لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ بَـٰلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلْأَنفُسِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٨﴾
          
And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with great difficulty. Indeed, your Lord is Most Kind, Most Merciful.
Na zinabeba mizigo yenu hadi mji ambao hamungeweza kufikia isipokuwa kwa shida kuu. Hakika Mola wenu ni Mwenye Rehema na Huruma.

            وَٱلْخَيْلَ وَٱلْبِغَالَ وَٱلْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةًۭ ۚ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٩﴾
          
And [He created] the horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and for adornment. And He creates that which you do not know.
Na [Amewaumba] farasi, punda wa mizigo, na punda wa milia kwa ajili ya mnavyo pandisha na kwa mapambo. Na Amemuumba kile ambacho hamjui.

            وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَصْدُ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَآئرٌۭ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
            ﴿١٠﴾
          
And the way [of guidance] is not but through Allah; He directs whomever He wills. And if He had willed, He would have guided you all.
Na njia ya uongofu haiko ila kwa Allah; Humuongoza yule anayemtaka. Na kama angependelea, angewasaidia wote.

            هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ ۖ لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌۭ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌۭ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ
            ﴿١١﴾
          
It is He who sends down water from the sky; from it you drink, and from it grows vegetation in which you pasture [your animals].
Yeye ndiye aliyeleta maji kutoka mbinguni; kutoka kwake mnakunywa, na kutokana nayo hukua mimea ambayo mnapalisha wanyama wenu.

            يُنۢبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ ٱلزَّرْعَ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِيلَ وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبَ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿١٢﴾
          
He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and all kinds of fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for people who reflect.
Yeye hukulima kwa hiyo nafaka, zeituni, mitende, mizabibu, na aina zote za matunda. Hakika katika hayo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaofikiri.

            وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ
            ﴿١٣﴾
          
And He subjected for you the night and the day, the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.
Na Amefanya kwenu usiku na mchana, jua na mwezi, na nyota zote zimeyumbishwa kwa amri Yake. Hakika katika hayo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaotumia akili.

            وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
            ﴿١٤﴾
          
And whatever He scattered on the earth of varying colors – indeed in that is a sign for people who remember.
Na kila kitu alichokipandikiza duniani chenye rangi mbalimbali – hakika katika hayo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaokumbuka.

            وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ مِنْهُ لَحْمًۭا طَرِيًّۭا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةًۭ تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى ٱلْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
            ﴿١٥﴾
          
And it is He who subjected the sea for you so that you eat from it fresh meat and extract ornaments to wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, that you may seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
Na Yeye ndiye aliyeifanya bahari iwapewe madini mliyo nayo, ili mkula kutoka kwake nyama laini na kutoa vito vya kuvaa. Na mnayaona meli zikivuka humo, ili mpate sehemu ya neema Yake; na labda mtashukuru.

            وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَـٰرًۭا وَسُبُلًۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
            ﴿١٦﴾
          
And He placed firm mountains on the earth so it would not shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may be guided.
Na Ameweka milima imara duniani ili isitetemeke pamoja nanyi, na mito na njia, ili mpate kuongozwa.

            وَعَلَـٰمَـٰتٍۢ ۚ وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
            ﴿١٧﴾
          
And [He created] landmarks; and by the stars they are guided.
Na [Amewaumba] alama za kuelekeza; na kwa nyota wanapata mwongozo.

            أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لَا يَخْلُقُ ۗ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿١٨﴾
          
So is He who creates like one who does not create? Will you not then remember?
Basi je, Yeye anayeuumba yupo sawa na yule asiyeuumba? Je, hamkumbuki?

            وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
            ﴿١٩﴾
          
And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Na kama mtaorodhesha neema za Mwenyezi Mungu, hutaweza kuzihesabu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehe na Mwenye Rehema.

            وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ
            ﴿٢٠﴾
          
And Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare.
Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mnayoficha na mnayoyatangaza.

            وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ
            ﴿٢١﴾
          
And those they invoke besides Allah do not create anything, while they themselves are created.
Na wale wanaowaomba mbali na Mwenyezi Mungu hawaumba kitu, lakini wao wenyewe wameumbwa.

            أَمْوَٰتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْيَآءٍۢ ۖ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
            ﴿٢٢﴾
          
Dead, not alive, and they do not know when they will be resurrected.
Wamekufa, sio hai, na hawajui lini watafufuliwa.

            إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌۭ وَاحِدٌۭ ۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌۭ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
            ﴿٢٣﴾
          
Your God is one God. And those who do not believe in the Hereafter – their hearts are disbelieving, and they are arrogant.
Mungu wenu ni Mungu mmoja. Na wale wasiokuwa na imani katika Akhera – mioyo yao ni kutoamini na wanajivuna.

            لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ
            ﴿٢٤﴾
          
Indeed, Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Indeed, He does not like the arrogant.
Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mnayoficha na mnayoyatangaza. Hakika Hapendi wajivuno.

            وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙ قَالُوٓا۟ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
            ﴿٢٥﴾
          
And when it is said to them, 'What has your Lord sent down?' they say, 'Legends of the former peoples.'
Na wakapoulizwa, 'Nini Mola wenu ametuma?' wanasema, 'Hadithi za watu wa zamani.'

            لِيَحْمِلُوٓا۟ أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةًۭ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۙ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ
            ﴿٢٦﴾
          
So that they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and a portion of the burdens of those they mislead without knowledge. How evil is that which they bear.
Ili wabebwe mizigo yao kwa ukamilifu siku ya Kiyama, na sehemu ya mizigo ya wale wanaowaongoza bila maarifa. Je, ni mbaya kiasi gani mizigo wanayobeba.

            قَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنْيَـٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
            ﴿٢٧﴾
          
Those before them plotted, but Allah came upon their building from the foundations so the roof fell upon them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.
Wale waliotangulia walipanga njama, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu akashuka kwa nyumba zao kutoka kwenye misingi, hivyo paa likawaangukia, na adhabu ikawaikumba kutoka pale wasipoona.

            ثُمَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تُشَـٰٓقُّونَ فِيهِمْ ۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ إِنَّ ٱلْخِزْىَ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَٱلسُّوٓءَ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
            ﴿٢٨﴾
          
Then on the Day of Resurrection He will disgrace them and say, 'Where are My partners whom you used to claim?' Those who were given knowledge will say, 'Indeed, disgrace and evil are upon the disbelievers.'
Kisha Siku ya Kiyama atawaibisha na kusema, 'Ni nani washirika wangu mlio kuwaoana nao?' Wale waliyopewa maarifa wanasema, 'Hakika aibu na dhahabu iko juu ya wakosefu wa Imani.'

            ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ ظَالِمِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ فَأَلْقَوُا۟ ٱلسَّلَمَ مَا كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ مِن سُوٓءٍۭ ۚ بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿٢٩﴾
          
Those whose souls the angels take while they are wronging themselves, they will say, 'We were not doing evil.' But indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do.
Wale ambao malaika wanapowachukua wakiwa wanadhulumu nafsi zao, wanasema, 'Hatukufanya ubaya.' Lakini hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mnayofanya.

            فَٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ أَبْوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
            ﴿٣٠﴾
          
So enter the gates of Hell, abiding eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant.
Basi ingieni milango ya Jahannamu mukaa kudumu humo, na makao ya wajivuno ni mabaya.

            وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ مَاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۚ قَالُوا۟ خَيْرًۭا ۗ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌۭ ۚ وَلَدَارُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ خَيْرٌۭ ۚ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
            ﴿٣١﴾
          
And it will be said to those who were righteous, 'What did your Lord send down?' They will say, 'Good.' For those who do good in this world is good, and the home of the Hereafter is better. And excellent is the home of the righteous.
Na itasemwa kwa walio na hofu, 'Mola wenu ametuma nini?' Watasema, 'Kheri.' Kwa wale wanaofanya mema duniani, kheri ipo, na makazi ya Akhera ni bora. Na makazi ya wenye hofu ni mema.

            جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍۢ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْزِى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
            ﴿٣٢﴾
          
Gardens of Eternity they will enter, beneath which rivers flow; therein they will have whatever they desire. Thus does Allah reward the righteous.
Hewaingie Miji ya Milele, chini yake mito inarushika; humo watapata wanachotaka. Vivyo hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu hutoa thawabu kwa wenye hofu.

            ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿٣٣﴾
          
Those whose souls the angels take in a good state, they will say, 'Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do.'
Wale ambao malaika wanapowachukua wakiwa wema, wanasema, 'Amani iwe juu yenu. Ingieni Peponi kwa yale mliyokuwa mnafanya.'

            هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
            ﴿٣٤﴾
          
Do they wait except for the angels to come to them or the command of your Lord? Thus did those before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they were wronging themselves.
Je! Wanasubiri ila malaika wawaje kwabo au amri ya Mola wako? Vivyo hivyo walivyofanya waliotangulia. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hawakuwa wanadhulumu, bali wao walikuwa wanadhulumu nafsi zao.

            فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
            ﴿٣٥﴾
          
So the evils of what they earned overtook them, and that which they used to mock surrounded them.
Basi maovu ya yale waliyoyapata yakawafikia, na kile walichokuwa wanacheka kilizunguka juu yao.

            وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَىْءٍۢ نَّحْنُ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ فَهَلْ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
            ﴿٣٦﴾
          
And those who associated others with Allah said, 'If Allah had willed, we would not have worshiped anything besides Him, nor would our forefathers, nor would we have forbidden anything besides Him.' Thus did those before them. So is there upon the messengers except clear delivery?
Na wale waliyochanganya wengine na Mwenyezi Mungu walisema, 'Kama Mwenyezi Mungu angependa, hatungetumikia chochote isipokuwa Yeye, wala mababu zetu, wala hatungezizuia vitu vyovyote isipokuwa Yeye.' Vivyo hivyo walivyofanya waliotangulia. Je, kuna jukumu kwa manabii ila kufikisha kwa uwazi?

            وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
            ﴿٣٧﴾
          
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], 'Worship Allah and avoid Taghut.' And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom misguidance became justified. So travel through the land and observe how was the end of the deniers.
Na hakika tumetuma mjumbe kwa kila taifa, tukisema, 'Tumikieni Mwenyezi Mungu na muepuke Taghut.' Na katikao walikuwa walioongozwa na Mwenyezi Mungu, na wengine waliopelekwa kwenye upotofu. Kwa hiyo piteni duniani na muone mwisho wa wakana.

            إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَن يُضِلُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ
            ﴿٣٨﴾
          
If you strive for their guidance, indeed Allah does not guide he whom He causes to go astray, and they will have no helpers.
Kama ukihamasika kwa ajili ya uongozaji wao, hakika Mwenyezi Mungu haongozi yeyote aliyegeuzwa mbali, na hawana washirika wala msaada.

            وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ۙ لَا يَبْعَثُ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَمُوتُ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّۭا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٣٩﴾
          
And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that Allah will not resurrect whoever dies. But yes, [all] is a true promise upon Him, but most of the people do not know.
Na wanasema kwa Allah kwa viapo vyao vyenye nguvu kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu hatamfufua yeyote aliye kufa. Basi ndiyo, ni ahadi ya kweli kwake, lakini watu wengi hawajui.

            لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ كَـٰذِبِينَ
            ﴿٤٠﴾
          
To make clear to them that wherein they differ and that those who disbelieve may know that they were liars.
Ili waonyeshe wazi wanachokikosa na ili wale wasioamini wajue kwamba walikuwa wakidanganya.

            إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَىْءٍ إِذَآ أَرَدْنَـٰهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
            ﴿٤١﴾
          
Our command to a thing, when We intend it, is only that We say to it, 'Be,' and it is.
Amri yetu kwa jambo lolote, tunapolitaka, ni kusema tu: 'Kuwa,' ndipo linalokuwa.

            وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ فِى ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا۟ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ ۖ وَلَأَجْرُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٤٢﴾
          
And those who emigrated for the cause of Allah after they were wronged, We will surely assign them a good place in this world; and the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.
Na wale waliokimbia kwa ajili ya Mwenyezi Mungu baada ya kuonewa, hakika tutawapa sehemu nzuri katika dunia; na thawabu ya Akhera ni kubwa zaidi, kama wangejua.

            ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
            ﴿٤٣﴾
          
Those who are patient and put their trust in their Lord.
Wale ambao wasubiri na wataweka tumaini lao kwa Mola wao.

            وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًۭا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٤٤﴾
          
And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
Na hatutuma kabla yako ila wanaume ambao tumewa wahadithia. Hivyo waulize wenye maarifa ikiwa hamjui.

            بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِ ۗ وَأَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿٤٥﴾
          
With clear proofs and the Scriptures. And We revealed to you the message so that you may explain to the people what was sent down to them, that they might give thought.
Kwa bayana na vitabu. Na tumeletea wewe Ukumbusho ili uonekee watu kilichotumwa kwao, labda wafikiri.

            أَفَأَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَكَرُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن يَخْسِفَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
            ﴿٤٦﴾
          
Do those who devise evil feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come to them unexpectedly?
Je, wale wanaopanga mabaya wanahisi salama kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu hatamwondoa duniani au adhabu haitawafikia ghafla?

            أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِى تَقَلُّبِهِمْ فَمَا هُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
            ﴿٤٧﴾
          
Or He may seize them in their transgression, and they will not be able to repel [It].
Au anaweza kuwakamata katika dhambi zao, na hawawezi kuikimbia.

            أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ عَلَىٰ تَخَوُّفٍۢ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٤٨﴾
          
Or He may seize them in fear; for indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.
Au anaweza kuwakamata kwa woga; hakika Mola wenu ni Mwema na Mwenye rehema.

            أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍۢ يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ ظِلَـٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدًۭا لِّلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ
            ﴿٤٩﴾
          
Have they not seen that which Allah has created, how their shadows stretch out to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah while they are humble?
Je, hawajaona kile alichoumba Mwenyezi Mungu, jinsi vivuli vyake vinavyofika kulia na kushoto, vikinyenyekea kwa Allah huku wakiwa wanyenyekevu?

            وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
            ﴿٥٠﴾
          
And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels do not overestimate [their worth].
Na kwa Allah hunyenyekea kile kilicho mbinguni na kile kilicho duniani miongoni mwa viumbe, na malaika hawajivuni.

            يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ
            ﴿٥١﴾
          
They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded.
Wanamcha Mungu wao juu yao na hufuata kile waliyetoa amri.

            وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ إِلَـٰهَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۖ فَإِيَّـٰىَ فَٱرْهَبُونِ
            ﴿٥٢﴾
          
And Allah said, 'Do not take two gods; He is only One God. So fear only Me.'
Na Mwenyezi Mungu alisema, 'Msichukue miungu miwili; Hakika ni Mungu Mmoja tu. Hivyo Mtie hofu Mimi tu.'

            وَلَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ ٱلدِّينُ وَاصِبًا ۚ أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ
            ﴿٥٣﴾
          
And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him will [all] religion return. So will you fear other than Allah?
Na Yeye ndiye mwenye kila kitu kilicho mbinguni na duniani, na kwake dini zote zitarudi. Je, mtamuogopa mwingine isipokuwa Allah?

            وَمَا بِكُم مِّن نِّعْمَةٍۢ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فَإِلَيْهِ تَجْـَٔرُونَ
            ﴿٥٤﴾
          
And whatever blessing you have is from Allah; then when harm touches you, you call upon Him alone.
Na kila neema uliyo nayo ni kutoka kwa Allah; kisha iwapo dhiki inakugusa, unamwomba Yeye peke yake.

            ثُمَّ إِذَا كَشَفَ ٱلضُّرَّ عَنكُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنكُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ
            ﴿٥٥﴾
          
Then when He removes the harm from you, a group among you associates others with their Lord.
Kisha ikapoondolewa dhiki kutoka kwenu, kundi fulani kati yenu huunganisha wengine na Mola wao.

            لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٥٦﴾
          
That they may disbelieve in what We have given them. Enjoy [your life], for you will soon know.
Ili wakatae kile tulichowapa. Furahia maisha yenu, kwani mtajua hivi karibuni.

            وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًۭا مِّمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ ۗ تَٱللَّهِ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ
            ﴿٥٧﴾
          
And they assign to that which they do not know a portion of what We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.
Na hupeana sehemu ya kile ambacho hawajui kutoka tulichowapa. Kwa Allah, hakika mtahojiwa kuhusu yale mliyoyazalisha.

            وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلْبَنَـٰتِ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۙ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
            ﴿٥٨﴾
          
And they assign daughters to Allah—exalted be He!—while desiring for themselves sons.
Na wanampangia Allah binti—Mtukufu awe!—wakipenda kwao wenyewe wavulana.

            وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٥٩﴾
          
And when one of them is given the good news of a female, his face darkens, and he is filled with grief.
Na wakati mmoja wao anapopewa habari njema ya binti, uso wake unakandamizwa giza, na ana huzuni.

            يَتَوَٰرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ مِن سُوٓءِ مَا بُشِّرَ بِهِۦٓ ۚ أَيُمْسِكُهُۥ عَلَىٰ هُونٍ أَمْ يَدُسُّهُۥ فِى ٱلتُّرَابِ ۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ
            ﴿٦٠﴾
          
He hides from the people because of the ill tidings he has received; should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? How evil is their judgment!
Anaficha kutoka kwa watu kwa sababu ya habari mbaya aliyopewa; je, aibike kwa kudharaulika au aichimbue ardhini? Je, hukumu zao si mbaya!

            لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مَثَلُ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۖ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَثَلُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
            ﴿٦١﴾
          
For those who do not believe in the Hereafter, the example of evil is presented, but to Allah belongs the highest example. And He is Mighty, Wise.
Kwa wale wasioamini Akhera, mfano wa mabaya umeonyeshwa, lakini kwa Allah ndio mfano wa juu zaidi. Yeye ni Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hekima.

            وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ وَلَـٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
            ﴿٦٢﴾
          
And if Allah were to punish people for their wrongdoing, He would not leave upon the earth any creature, but He defers them to an appointed term; and when their term comes, they will not delay it an hour, nor will they advance it.
Na kama Allah angewachukulia watu kwa dhulma zao, hakungeacha kiumbe chochote duniani, bali anawaahirisha hadi muda uliowekwa; na wakati muda wao unapofika, hawawezi kuuchelewesha hata saa moja, wala kuuita mapema.

            وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ ٱلْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفْرَطُونَ
            ﴿٦٣﴾
          
And they assign to Allah that which they dislike, and their tongues declare the lie that they will have the best; surely they will have the Fire, and they are to be neglected.
Na wanampa Allah kile wanachokikataa, na midomo yao inasema uongo kwamba watapata mema; hakika watapata Moto, na watapunguzwa.

            تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٦٤﴾
          
By Allah, We have sent to nations before you, and Satan adorned their deeds for them; and he is their patron today, and they will have a painful punishment.
Kwa Allah, tumetuma kwa mataifa kabla yako, na Shetani aliwapa vivuli vya matendo yao; na Yeye ndiye mlezi wao leo, na watapata adhabu chungu.

            وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ إِلَّا لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ ۙ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ
            ﴿٦٥﴾
          
And We did not send down the Book to you except to make clear to them that in which they differ, and as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.
Na hatutume Kitabu kwako ila ili kuweka wazi kwao kile walichokigawanya, na kuwa mwongozo na rehema kwa watu wanaoamini.

            وَٱللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَسْمَعُونَ
            ﴿٦٦﴾
          
And Allah sends down water from the sky and revives the earth thereby after its death. Surely in that is a sign for a people who listen.
Na Allah anatuliza mvua kutoka mbinguni na kuhuisha ardhi baada ya kifo chake; hakika humo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaosikia.

            وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ لَعِبْرَةًۭ ۖ نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍۢ وَدَمٍۢ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًۭا سَآئغًۭا لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ
            ﴿٦٧﴾
          
And indeed, for you in cattle there is a lesson: We give you to drink from what is in their bellies, from between excretion and blood, pure milk, palatable to drinkers.
Na hakika, kwenu katika mifugo kuna funzo: Tunakulisha kwa kile kilicho ndani ya matumbo yao, kati ya kinyesi na damu, maziwa safi, yenye ladha kwa wanywaji.

            وَمِن ثَمَرَٰتِ ٱلنَّخِيلِ وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًۭا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ
            ﴿٦٨﴾
          
And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapes you take intoxicants and good provision. Surely in that is a sign for people who understand.
Na kutoka matunda ya mitende na zabibu mnatengeneza vilevi na riziki njema; hakika humo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaoelewa.

            وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِى مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ
            ﴿٦٩﴾
          
And your Lord inspired the bees, saying: 'Take for yourselves homes in the mountains, in the trees, and in what they build.'
Na Mola wako aliwahimiza nyuki, akisema: 'Chukua nyumba kwa ajili yenu katika milima, kwenye miti, na katika kile mnachojenga.'

            ثُمَّ كُلِى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسْلُكِى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًۭا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌۭ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿٧٠﴾
          
Then eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your Lord submissively. From their bellies comes drink of varying colors, in which there is healing for people. Surely in that is a sign for people who reflect.
Kisha kula matunda yote, na fuata njia za Mola wako kwa unyenyekevu. Kutoka kwenye matumbo yao hutoka kinywaji chenye rangi tofauti, chenye tiba kwa watu. Hakika humo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaofikiria.

            وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ ۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْعُمُرِ لِكَىْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍۢ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۭ قَدِيرٌۭ
            ﴿٧١﴾
          
And Allah created you, then causes you to die; and among you is he who is returned to the worst part of life, so that he knows nothing after having knowledge. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.
Na Allah amekuumba, kisha akakufanya ufe; na miongoni mwenu kuna aliyerudi kwenye sehemu mbaya zaidi ya maisha, ili asijue chochote baada ya kuwa na maarifa. Hakika Allah ni Mwenye Hekima, Mwenye Nguvu.

            وَٱللَّهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فِى ٱلرِّزْقِ ۚ فَمَا ٱلَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا۟ بِرَآدِّى رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌ ۚ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ
            ﴿٧٢﴾
          
And Allah has favored some of you over others in provision. But those who are favored cannot give back their provision to what their right hands possess, so they are equal in that. Do they then deny the bounty of Allah?
Na Allah amewapendelea baadhi yenu juu ya wengine kwa riziki. Lakini wale waliyopewa hawana uwezo wa kurudisha riziki zao kwa yale yaliyo mikononi mwao, hivyo wote ni sawa katika hilo. Je, wanakana neema za Allah?

            وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةًۭ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ ۚ أَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ هُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ
            ﴿٧٣﴾
          
And Allah has made for you from yourselves mates, and made for you from your mates children and grandchildren, and provided you with good things. Do they then believe in falsehood and deny the bounty of Allah?
Na Allah amekuwekea wake kutoka kwenu wenyewe, na amekupeni kutoka kwa wake wenu watoto na wajukuu, na akakupeni vitu vyema. Je, wanaiamini uongo na wakanaye neema za Allah?

            وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ رِزْقًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
            ﴿٧٤﴾
          
And they worship besides Allah that which can neither give them provision from the heavens nor the earth, nor can they do anything.
Na wanamcha Mungu mwingine pamoja na Allah ambaye hawawezi kuwapatia riziki kutoka mbinguni au duniani, wala hawawezi kufanya kitu chochote.

            فَلَا تَضْرِبُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٧٥﴾
          
So do not set up equals with Allah; indeed, Allah knows, while you do not know.
Basi msimlinganishe Allah na kitu chochote; hakika Allah anajua, ninyi hamjui.

            ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا عَبْدًۭا مَّمْلُوكًۭا لَّا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَـٰهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًۭا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّۭا وَجَهْرًا ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوُۥنَ ۚ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٧٦﴾
          
Allah sets forth the example of a slave who cannot do anything and one whom We have provided with good provision, who spends from it secretly and openly. Are they equal? Praise be to Allah; but most of them do not know.
Allah ameweka mfano wa mtumwa asiye na uwezo wa kufanya kitu chochote na yule ambaye tumempa riziki njema, ambaye anatumia kwa siri na kwa uwazi. Je, hawa sawa? Sifa zote ziwe kwa Allah; lakini wengi wao hawajui.

            وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًۭا رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَىٰهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
            ﴿٧٧﴾
          
And Allah presents the example of two men: one mute, unable to do anything, dependent upon his master wherever he directs him, bringing no good; are they equal with one who commands justice and is on a straight path?
Na Allah ameweka mfano wa wanaume wawili: mmoja ni bubu, hawezi kufanya kitu, amegawanyika kwa bwana wake popote anapompeleka, na haileti mema; je, sawa na yule anayetoa amri ya haki na yuko kwenye njia sahihi?

            وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَآ أَمْرُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ ٱلْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ
            ﴿٧٨﴾
          
And to Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the matter of the Hour is not but as the twinkling of an eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
Na kwa Allah ni siri ya mbingu na ardhi. Na jambo la Saa (ya Kiyama) ni kama mrimuko wa jicho au hata karibu zaidi. Hakika Allah ana uwezo juu ya kila kitu.

            وَٱللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۙ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
            ﴿٧٩﴾
          
And Allah brought you out from the wombs of your mothers, not knowing anything, and gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, that you may give thanks.
Na Allah amekutoa kutoka tumboni mwa mama zenu, msiyejua chochote, na akakupeni kusikia, kuona, na mioyo, ili mpate kushukuru.

            أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيْرِ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۢ فِى جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ
            ﴿٨٠﴾
          
Do they not see the birds, subjected in the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe.
Je, hawataona ndege, waliochongwa angani? Hakuna anayezishikilia isipokuwa Allah. Hakika humo kuna ishara kwa watu wanaoamini.

            وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ بُيُوتًۭا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ ۙ وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَآ أَثَـٰثًۭا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ
            ﴿٨١﴾
          
And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest, and made for you from the hides of cattle dwellings which you find light on the day of travel and on the day of settlement, and from their wool, fur, and hair furnishings and enjoyment until a time.
Na Allah amekuwekea makazi katika nyumba zenu, na amekupeni nyumba kutoka kwenye ngozi za mifugo ambazo ni nyepesi siku ya safari na siku ya makazi, na kutoka kwenye manyoya yao, nywele na shina, kwa mapambo na starehe hadi muda fulani.

            وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَـٰلًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَـٰنًۭا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلْحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ
            ﴿٨٢﴾
          
And Allah has made for you shades from what He created, and made for you refuges in the mountains, and provided you garments to protect you from heat and garments to protect you in battle. Thus He completes His favor upon you, that you may submit.
Na Allah amekuwekea vivuli kutokana na viumbe alivyo viumba, na amekuwekea makazi katika milima, na amekupeni nguo zinazokulinda na joto na nguo zinazokulinda kwenye vita. Hivyo anakamilisha neema zake kwenu ili mpate kuisadiki.

            فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
            ﴿٨٣﴾
          
But if they turn away, then upon you is only the clear delivery (of the message).
Lakini wakigeuka, basi juu yako tu ni kutoa ujumbe kwa uwazi.

            يَعْرِفُونَ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
            ﴿٨٤﴾
          
They recognize the favor of Allah, then deny it, and most of them are disbelievers.
Wanatambua neema za Allah, kisha wanakanusha, na wengi wao ni wakufur.

            وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ شَهِيدًۭا ثُمَّ لَا يُؤْذَنُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
            ﴿٨٥﴾
          
And the Day We will raise from every nation a witness, then no permission will be given to those who disbelieve, nor will they be reprieved.
Na siku tutakayotoa shuhuda kutoka kila taifa, basi hakuna ruhusa itakayotolewa kwa wakufur, wala hawatapelekwa kusamehewa.

            وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ
            ﴿٨٦﴾
          
And when those who did wrong see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.
Na wakati wale waliyo dhulumu watakapoona adhabu, haitapunguzwa kwao, wala hawatapewa muda wa kusamehewa.

            وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَهُمْ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِكَ ۖ فَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
            ﴿٨٧﴾
          
And when those who associated partners with Allah see their partners, they will say, 'Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to call besides You.' But they will throw the statement at them, 'Indeed, you are liars.'
Na wakati wale waliyo shirikisha wafuasi wao wataona washirika wao, watasema: 'Rabbina! Hawa ndio washirika wetu tuliowaita badala yako.' Lakini watalaaniwa, 'Hakika ninyi ni waongo.'

            وَأَلْقَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلسَّلَمَ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ
            ﴿٨٨﴾
          
And they will cast themselves toward Allah in submission that Day, and what they used to fabricate will depart from them.
Na watakakimbilia Allah siku hiyo kwa utii, na yale waliyokuwa wanayabuni yataondoka kwao.

            ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ زِدْنَـٰهُمْ عَذَابًۭا فَوْقَ ٱلْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يُفْسِدُونَ
            ﴿٨٩﴾
          
Those who disbelieve and obstruct [others] from the way of Allah — We will increase them in punishment over the punishment for what they used to corrupt.
Wale waliyo kufuru na kuzuia wengine kwenye njia ya Allah — tutawaongezea adhabu juu ya adhabu kwa yale waliyokuwa wanaharibu.

            وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ۚ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ تِبْيَـٰنًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
            ﴿٩٠﴾
          
And the Day We will raise in every nation a witness against them from themselves, and We will bring you as a witness over these. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.
Na siku tutakayotoa shuhuda katika kila taifa kutoka kwa nafsi zao, na tutakuleta wewe kuwa shuhuda juu yao. Na tumepandisha kwako Kitabu kama ufafanuzi wa kila kitu, na kama mwongozo, rehema, na habari njema kwa Waislamu.

            ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ وَإِيتَآئِ ذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱلْبَغْىِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿٩١﴾
          
Indeed, Allah commands justice, excellence, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, wrongdoing, and oppression. He admonishes you so that you may be mindful.
Hakika, Allah anaamrisha uadilifu, wema, na kuwapa jamaa, na anakataza mambo machafu, maovu na uonevu. Anawapa mawaidha ili mpate kukumbuka.

            وَأَوْفُوا۟ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا عَـٰهَدتُّمْ وَلَا تَنقُضُوا۟ ٱلْأَيْمَـٰنَ بَعْدَ تَوْكِيدِهَا وَقَدْ جَعَلْتُمُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْكُمْ كَفِيلًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
            ﴿٩٢﴾
          
And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have pledged, and do not break oaths after confirming them, while you have made Allah your surety. Indeed, Allah knows what you do.
Na timizeni ahadi ya Allah mnapo ahidi, wala msivunje viapo baada ya kuvithibitisha, na hali mmemfanya Allah kuwa shahidi wenu. Hakika, Allah anajua myatendayo.

            وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّتِى نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَهَا مِنۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ أَنكَـٰثًۭا تَتَّخِذُونَ أَيْمَـٰنَكُمْ دَخَلًۢا بَيْنَكُمْ أَن تَكُونَ أُمَّةٌ هِىَ أَرْبَىٰ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَبْلُوكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ ۚ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ مَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
            ﴿٩٣﴾
          
And do not be like she who untwisted her yarn after it was strong into strands, taking your oaths as deception among you because one community is more numerous than another. Allah only tests you thereby, and He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection what you used to differ in.
Wala msiwe kama yule aliyevunjilia uzi wake baada ya kuwa thabiti, mkizifanya kiapo chenu kuwa hila baina yenu kwa sababu taifa moja ni kubwa kuliko jingine. Allah anawajaribu kwa hayo, na atawabainishia Siku ya Kiyama yale mliyokuwa mkikhitalifiana.

            وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ وَلَـٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿٩٤﴾
          
And if Allah had willed, He could have made you one community, but He leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And surely you will be asked about what you used to do.
Na lau Allah angalitaka angalifanya nyinyi kuwa umma mmoja. Lakini humwacha apotee amtakaye na humwongoza amtakaye. Na kwa yakini mtaulizwa juu ya yale mliyokuwa mkitenda.

            وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَكُمْ دَخَلًۢا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌۢ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٩٥﴾
          
And do not take your oaths as deception among you, lest a foot slip after it had been firmly planted, and you taste evil for having turned others away from the way of Allah. And for you is a great punishment.
Wala msifanye viapo vyenu kuwa hila baina yenu, miguu ikateleza baada ya kusimama kwake, na mkaonja uovu kwa kuwa mlizuilia watu Njia ya Allah. Na nyinyi mtapata adhabu kubwa.

            وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا۟ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿٩٦﴾
          
And do not exchange the covenant of Allah for a small price. Indeed, what is with Allah is better for you if you only knew.
Wala msinunue kwa ahadi ya Allah thamani ndogo. Hakika kilicho kwa Allah ni bora kwenu, lau mnajua.

            مَا عِندَكُمْ يَنفَدُ ۖ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ بَاقٍۢ ۗ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوٓا۟ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿٩٧﴾
          
Whatever you have will perish, but what is with Allah is everlasting. And We will surely reward those who were patient with the best of what they used to do.
Kilicho kwenu kitaisha, lakini kilicho kwa Allah kitabakia. Na hakika tutawalipa wenye subira ujira wao kwa bora ya yale waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.

            مَنْ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌۭ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةًۭ طَيِّبَةًۭ ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿٩٨﴾
          
Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while being a believer – We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.
Atendaye mema, akiwa mwanaume au mwanamke, naye ni muumini – tutamhuisha maisha mema, na tutawalipa kwa bora ya yale waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.

            فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ
            ﴿٩٩﴾
          
So when you recite the Qur’an, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed.
Basi unaposoma Qur’ani, tafuta hifadhi kwa Allah kutokana na Shetani aliyelaaniwa.

            إِنَّهُۥ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ سُلْطَـٰنٌ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
            ﴿١٠٠﴾
          
Indeed, he has no authority over those who believe and put their trust in their Lord.
Hakika hana mamlaka juu ya wale walio amini na wakamtegemea Mola wao.

            إِنَّمَا سُلْطَـٰنُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُۥ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِهِۦ مُشْرِكُونَ
            ﴿١٠١﴾
          
His authority is only over those who take him as an ally, and those who associate others with him.
Mamlaka yake ni juu ya wale waliomfanya kuwa rafiki wao, na wale waliomshirikisha naye.

            وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَآ ءَايَةًۭ مَّكَانَ ءَايَةٍۢ ۙ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُفْتَرٍۭ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
            ﴿١٠٢﴾
          
And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, 'You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies].' But most of them do not know.
Na tunapobadilisha Aya mahali pa Aya nyingine – na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mjuzi zaidi wa kinachoteremshwa – wao husema: 'Hakika wewe ni muongo tu.' Lakini wengi wao hawajui.

            قُلْ نَزَّلَهُۥ رُوحُ ٱلْقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهُدًۭى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
            ﴿١٠٣﴾
          
Say, [O Muhammad], 'The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims.'
Sema: 'Roho Mtakatifu ameiteremsha kutoka kwa Mola wako kwa Haki ili awathibitishe wale waliomuamini na kuwa mwongozo na bishara njema kwa Waislamu.'

            وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُۥ بَشَرٌۭ ۗ لِّسَانُ ٱلَّذِى يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِىٌّۭ وَهَـٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِىٌّۭ مُّبِينٌ
            ﴿١٠٤﴾
          
And We certainly know that they say, 'It is only a human being who teaches him.' The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this [Qur'an] is [in] a clear Arabic language.
Na kwa yakini tunajua kwamba wao husema: 'Hakika anamfundisha ni binadamu tu.' Lugha ya yule wanayemkusudia ni ya kigeni, na hii Qur’ani ni kwa lugha ya Kiarabu iliyo wazi.

            إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
            ﴿١٠٥﴾
          
Indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of Allah - Allah will not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment.
Hakika wale wasioziamini Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenyezi Mungu hatawaongoza, na wao watapata adhabu chungu.

            إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِى ٱلْكَذِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَـٰذِبُونَ
            ﴿١٠٦﴾
          
They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is they who are the liars.
Hakika wanaozua uwongo ni wale wasioziamini Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu, na hao ndio waongo.

            مَن كَفَرَ بِٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِيمَـٰنِهِۦٓ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُۥ مُطْمَئِنٌّۢ بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِٱلْكُفْرِ صَدْرًۭا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ
            ﴿١٠٧﴾
          
Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who willingly open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment.
Yeyote atakayemkufuru Mwenyezi Mungu baada ya kuamini – isipokuwa yule aliyeonewa na moyo wake umetulia katika imani – lakini mwenye kufarijiwa na kukubali ukafiri, hao wapo chini ya ghadhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu na watapata adhabu kuu.

            ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
            ﴿١٠٨﴾
          
That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Hayo ni kwa sababu wamependelea maisha ya dunia kuliko Akhera, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi watu makafiri.

            أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰفِلُونَ
            ﴿١٠٩﴾
          
It is they upon whose hearts and hearing and vision Allah has set a seal, and it is they who are the heedless.
Hao ndio ambao Mwenyezi Mungu amezitia muhuri nyoyo zao na masikio yao na macho yao. Na hao ndio wenye kughafilika.

            لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ
            ﴿١١٠﴾
          
Assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers.
Hakika, bila shaka, wao ndio watakaokuwa wenye khasara Akhera.

            ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُوا۟ ثُمَّ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ وَصَبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
            ﴿١١١﴾
          
Then indeed, your Lord, to those who emigrated after they were oppressed and fought and were patient, indeed, your Lord after that is Forgiving and Merciful.
Kisha hakika, Mola wako kwa wale waliokimbilia baada ya kujaribiwa na wakajitahidi na kuwa na subira, hakika Mola wako baada ya hayo ni Msamehe na Mwenye Rehema.

            يَوْمَ تَأْتِى كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ تُجَـٰدِلُ عَن نَّفْسِهَا وَتُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
            ﴿١١٢﴾
          
On the Day every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully recompensed for what it did, and they will not be wronged.
Siku ambayo kila nafsi itakuja iking’ang’ania nafsi yake, na kila nafsi itapatiwa kikamilifu kwa yale iliyoyafanya, wala hawataudhiwa.

            وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًۭا قَرْيَةًۭ كَانَتْ ءَامِنَةًۭ مُطْمَئِنَّةًۭ يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًۭا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٍۢ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَذَٰقَهَا ٱللَّهُ لِبَاسَ ٱلْجُوعِ وَٱلْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْنَعُونَ
            ﴿١١٣﴾
          
And Allah presents an example of a city which was secure and content: its provision came to it abundantly from every place, yet it denied the favors of Allah. So Allah made it taste hunger and fear for what they used to do.
Na Mwenyezi Mungu ametoa mfano wa mji ulio salama na uliokamilika: riziki yake iliwasili kwa wingi kutoka kila mahali, lakini wakakataa neema za Mwenyezi Mungu. Hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu aliwapa ladha ya njaa na hofu kwa yale waliyokuwa wakiifanya.

            وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَـٰلِمُونَ
            ﴿١١٤﴾
          
And there certainly came to them a messenger from among them, but they denied him, so the punishment seized them while they were wrongdoers.
Na hakika, balozi aliyejawa kutoka miongoni mwao aliwafika, lakini wakamkataa, hivyo adhabu iliwakuta wakiwa wakiendesha uharibifu.

            فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ حَلَـٰلًۭا طَيِّبًۭا وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
            ﴿١١٥﴾
          
So eat of the lawful and good things Allah has provided you, and be grateful for the favor of Allah if you truly worship Him.
Hivyo kula miongoni mwa vilivyo halali na vyema ambavyo Mwenyezi Mungu amekupeni, na shukuru neema za Mwenyezi Mungu ikiwa kweli umemwabudu.

            إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍۢ وَلَا عَادٍۢ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
            ﴿١١٦﴾
          
He has only forbidden you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is compelled, neither desiring nor transgressing, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Huu ni marufuku tu: wanyama waliokufa, damu, nyama ya nguruwe, na yaliyo waombolezwa kwa mbinguni ila kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Lakini yule anayelazimika, bila tamaa au kuvuka mipaka, Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehe na Mwenye Rehema.

            وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلْكَذِبَ هَـٰذَا حَلَـٰلٌۭ وَهَـٰذَا حَرَامٌۭ لِّتَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ
            ﴿١١٧﴾
          
And do not say about that which your tongues assert as false, 'This is lawful and this is forbidden,' to invent falsehood against Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood against Allah will not succeed.
Na msisema kwa yale ulimi wenu yanayosema kuwa ni uongo: 'Hiki ni halali na hiki ni haramu,' ili kuumba uongo dhidi ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika walioumba uongo dhidi ya Mwenyezi Mungu hawawezi kufanikiwa.

            مَتَـٰعٌۭ قَلِيلٌۭ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ
            ﴿١١٨﴾
          
A brief enjoyment; and for them is a painful punishment.
Furaha fupi tu, na wao watapata adhabu chungu.

            وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمْنَا مَا قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
            ﴿١١٩﴾
          
And as for those who were Jews, We forbade them what We related to you before. And We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
Na kwa wale waliokuwa Wayahudi, tumewapiga marufuku yale tuliyokuambia awali. Na hatuwadauhumu, bali wao wenyewe walijidhuru.

            ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِجَهَـٰلَةٍۢ ثُمَّ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوٓا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ
            ﴿١٢٠﴾
          
Then indeed, your Lord, to those who do evil in ignorance and then repent after that and make amends, indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.
Kisha hakika, Mola wako kwa wale wanaofanya maovu kwa kutojua na kisha watakaye tubu baada ya hayo na kurekebisha, hakika Mola wako ni Msamehe na Mwenye Rehema.

            إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةًۭ قَانِتًۭا لِّلَّهِ حَنِيفًۭا وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
            ﴿١٢١﴾
          
Indeed, Abraham was a community devoted to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists.
Hakika Ibrahimu alikuwa jamii iliyomtii Mwenyezi Mungu, mtukufu, wala hakuwa miongoni mwa washirikina.

            شَاكِرًۭا لِّأَنْعُمِهِ ۚ ٱجْتَبَىٰهُ وَهَدَىٰهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
            ﴿١٢٢﴾
          
Grateful for His favors. He chose him and guided him to a straight path.
Akiyashukuru mema yake. Mwenyezi Mungu akamchagua na akamwongoza kwenye njia iliyo sawa.

            وءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
            ﴿١٢٣﴾
          
And We granted him in this world good, and indeed, he will be among the righteous in the Hereafter.
Na tukampa mema katika dunia hii, na hakika atakuwa miongoni mwa wema katika Akhera.

            ثُمَّ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ أَنِ ٱتَّبِعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
            ﴿١٢٤﴾
          
Then We revealed to you that you should follow the faith of Abraham, upright, and he was not of the polytheists.
Kisha tukakuonyeshia utumie dini ya Ibrahimu, mtukufu, wala hakuwa miongoni mwa washirikina.

            إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبْتُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
            ﴿١٢٥﴾
          
Indeed, the Sabbath was only made obligatory for those who differed about it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that in which they used to differ.
Hakika Sabato ilitolewa tu kwa wale waliokuwa wanatofautiana juu yake. Na hakika Mola wako atawahukumu siku ya Kiyama kuhusu yale walivyokuwa wanatofautiana.

            ٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ ۖ وَجَـٰدِلْهُم بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
            ﴿١٢٦﴾
          
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is rightly guided.
Liite njia ya Mola wako kwa hekima na mawaidha mema, na wabadilishe kwa njia iliyo bora. Hakika Mola wako ndiye anayejuwa zaidi nani amepotea kutoka njia yake, na yeye ndiye anayejuwa nani amepata mwongozo sahihi.

            وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوا۟ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُم بِهِۦ ۖ وَلَئِن صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
            ﴿١٢٧﴾
          
And if you punish, then punish with the like of that with which you were afflicted. But if you are patient, it is better for the patient.
Na kama mnafanya adhabu, basi fafanua kwa kilele kile ambacho mmepata. Lakini kama mtavumilia, ni bora kwa wavumilivu.

            وَٱصْبِرْ وَمَا صَبْرُكَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ۚ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُ فِى ضَيْقٍۢ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ
            ﴿١٢٨﴾
          
And be patient, and your patience is not but through Allah; and do not grieve over them, and do not be in distress because of what they plot.
Basi vumilia, na uvumilivu wako ni kwa nguvu ya Mwenyezi Mungu pekee; wala usihuzunike kwao, wala usizidi na wasiowasababishia wasiwasi.

            إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ وَّٱلَّذِينَ هُم مُّحْسِنُونَ
            ﴿١٢٩﴾
          
Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who do good.
Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu yupo pamoja na wale wanaomcha Yeye na wale wanaofanya mema.
