بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye Rehema na Mwenye Kurehemu.

            بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
            ﴿١﴾
          
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.

            الٓر ۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أُحْكِمَتْ ءَايَـٰتُهُۥ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ خَبِيرٍ
            ﴿٢﴾
          
Alif Lam Ra. [This is] a Book whose verses are perfected and then detailed, from [One who is] Wise and Acquainted.
Alif Lam Ra. [Hili ni] Kitabu ambacho aya zake zimekamilika kisha zimetafsiriwa, kutoka kwa [Yule] Mwenye Hekima na Anayejuwa.

            أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّنِى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ وَبَشِيرٌۭ
            ﴿٣﴾
          
That you worship none but Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings.
Usimwabudu ila Allah. Hakika mimi kwenu ni mwonya na mtoaji wa bishara kutoka kwake.

            وَأَنِ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يُمَتِّعْكُم مَّتَـٰعًا حَسَنًا إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى وَيُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِى فَضْلٍۢ فَضْلَهُۥ ۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍۢ كَبِيرٍ
            ﴿٤﴾
          
And that you ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will let you enjoy good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor. But if you turn away, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.
Na msalihe msamehe Mola wenu kisha toreni tawba kwake, atawapasha raha nzuri kwa muda maalumu na atawapa kila mwenye fadhila fadhila yake. Lakini mkigeukia, ninaogopa adhabu kubwa kwa nyinyi Siku ya Kuu.

            إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ
            ﴿٥﴾
          
To Allah is your return, and He is over all things competent.
Kw Allah mnarudi, naye yuko Mwenye uwezo juu ya kila kitu.

            أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُوا۟ مِنْهُ ۚ أَلَا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
            ﴿٦﴾
          
Unquestionably, they fold up their breasts to hide from Him. But when they cover themselves with their garments, He knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
Hakika wanapoficha matumbo yao kujaribu kujificha kwake, na wanapojifunika kwa nguo zao, Yeye anajua siri wanazoficha na wanazozionyesha. Hakika Yeye ni Mjuzi wa yaliyomo ndani ya mioyo.

            وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا ۚ كُلٌّۭ فِى كِتَـٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ
            ﴿٧﴾
          
And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its provision, and He knows its dwelling place and its repository. All is in a clear Book.
Hakika hakuna kiumbe yoyote duniani ila kwa Allah kuna riziki yake, naye anajua mahali pake pa makazi na mahali pa kuhifadhiwa. Kila kimo katika Kitabu kilicho wazi.

            وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلْمَآءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًۭا ۗ وَلَئِن قُلْتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلْمَوْتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
            ﴿٨﴾
          
And He it is who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and His Throne was upon the water, that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. And if you say, 'Indeed you will be resurrected after death,' those who disbelieve will surely say, 'This is not but obvious magic.'
Na Yeye ndiye aliyeumba mbingu na dunia katika siku sita, na Arshi lake liko juu ya maji, ili Awajaribu ninyi nani mnafanya mema zaidi. Na endapo unasema, 'Hakika mtazinduliwa baada ya kifo,' wasiokubali watasema, 'Hii siyo ila uchawi wazi.'

            وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍۢ مَّعْدُودَةٍۢ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُۥٓ ۗ أَلَا يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
            ﴿٩﴾
          
And if We delay the punishment from them until a specified number, they will surely say, 'What detains it?' But when it comes to them, it will not be averted from them, and they will be encompassed by what they used to mock.
Na kama tutachelewesha adhabu kutoka kwao hadi idadi fulani, watasema, 'Ipi inayoiweka?' Lakini itakaporejea kwao, haitakuondolewa, na watakumbwa na kile walichokuwa wakicheka.

            وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةًۭ ثُمَّ نَزَعْنَـٰهَا مِنْهُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَـُٔوسٌۭ كَفُورٌۭ
            ﴿١٠﴾
          
And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then withdraw it from him, indeed he is despairing, ungrateful.
Na kama tumpatie mwanadamu ladha ya rehema kutoka kwetu kisha tutainyang'anya, hakika ndiye aliyehuzunika, asiye shukuru.

            وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَـٰهُ نَعْمَآءَ بَعْدَ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتُ عَنِّىٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَفَرِحٌۭ فَخُورٌ
            ﴿١١﴾
          
And if We give him enjoyment after hardship has touched him, he will surely say, 'The evil has departed from me.' Indeed, he is rejoicing and boastful.
Na kama tutampa furaha baada ya dhiki kumkumba, hakika atasema, 'Maovu yameondoka kwangu.' Hakika yeye ni furaha na kujivunia.

            إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَأَجْرٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ
            ﴿١٢﴾
          
Except for those who are patient and do righteous deeds; those will have forgiveness and a great reward.
Isipokuwa wale waliyosubiri na wakafanya mema; wao watapata msamaha na thawabu kubwa.

            فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌۢ بَعْضَ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَضَآئِقٌۢ بِهِۦ صَدْرُكَ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُۥ مَلَكٌ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ نَذِيرٌۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَكِيلٌ
            ﴿١٣﴾
          
Perhaps you would leave some of what is revealed to you, and your heart becomes constrained by it, lest they say, 'Why has not a treasure been sent down to him, or an angel come with him?' You are only a warner, and Allah is Disposer of all things.
Labda utaleta mbali baadhi ya yale yaliyo funuliwa kwako, na moyo wako ukahuzunika kwa haya, wasije wakasema, 'Kwa nini hazijashushwa hazina au malaika amekuja naye?' Wewe ni mwonya tu, na Allah ndiye Msimamizi wa kila kitu.

            أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦ مُفْتَرَيَـٰتٍۢ وَٱدْعُوا۟ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
            ﴿١٤﴾
          
Or do they say, 'He invented it'? Say, 'Then bring ten surahs like it, invented, and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful.'
Au wanasema, 'Aliibuni?' Sema, 'Basi lete surah kumi kama yake, mkabuni, na mwite yeyote mnaoweza isipokuwa Allah, kama mna ukweli.'

            فَإِلَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَكُمْ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ بِعِلْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَن لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
            ﴿١٥﴾
          
But if they do not respond to you, then know that it has been revealed with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him; so will you not then submit?
Lakini kama hawajasikia kwako, basi fahamu kwamba imefunuliwa kwa maarifa ya Allah, na hakuna mungu isipokuwa Yeye; je, hamtaikubali?

            مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيْهِمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فِيهَا وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يُبْخَسُونَ
            ﴿١٦﴾
          
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornment, We fully repay them their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived.
Yeye anayetaka maisha ya dunia na vivyo vyake, tutawalipa kwa uhalisi matendo yao humo, na hawata nyimwa chochote humo.

            أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُوا۟ فِيهَا وَبَـٰطِلٌۭ مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿١٧﴾
          
It is they who have no share in the Hereafter except the Fire. And their deeds therein are in vain, and that which they used to do is void.
Hao ndio wasiokuwa na sehemu katika Akhera isipokuwa Moto. Matendo yao humo yameharibika, na yale waliyoyafanya ni batili.

            أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ وَيَتْلُوهُ شَاهِدٌۭ مِّنْهُ وَمِن قَبْلِهِۦ كِتَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِمَامًۭا وَرَحْمَةً ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ فَٱلنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُۥ ۚ فَلَا تَكُ فِى مِرْيَةٍۢ مِّنْهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
            ﴿١٨﴾
          
Then is he who is upon evidence from his Lord and a witness from Him, and before him the Book of Moses, an exemplar and mercy—those will believe in it. But whoever disbelieves in it from the factions, the Fire is their promised place; so be not in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most people do not believe.
Je, yule aliye kwenye ushahidi kutoka kwa Mola wake na shahidi kutoka kwake, na kabla yake Kitabu cha Musa, mfano na rehema—wale watakubali? Na yeyote anaye kukana kutoka kwa makundi, Moto ndiyo makao yao yaliyotolewa; usiye na shaka kuhusu hili. Hakika ni kweli kutoka kwa Mola wako, lakini watu wengi hawakubali.

            وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ٱلْأَشْهَـٰدُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ أَلَا لَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
            ﴿١٩﴾
          
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah? They will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, 'These are the ones who lied against their Lord.' Curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.
Na nani aliye dhulumu zaidi kuliko yule anayemuumba uwongo juu ya Allah? Watawasilishwa mbele ya Mola wao, na mashahidi wanasema, 'Hawa ndio waliokuwa wakidakia Mola wao.' Laana la Allah liwapo kwa wanyanyasaji.

            ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًۭا وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ
            ﴿٢٠﴾
          
Those who obstruct [people] from the way of Allah and seek it crookedly, while they are disbelievers in the Hereafter.
Wale wanaozuia njia ya Allah na kuibadilisha, huku wakikana Akhera.

            أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ مُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآءِ ۘ يُضَـٰعَفُ لَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ ۚ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يُبْصِرُونَ
            ﴿٢١﴾
          
They will not escape on earth, and they have no protectors besides Allah. Their punishment will be doubled; they could neither hear nor see.
Hawa hawataweza kutoroka duniani, na hawana waliolinda isipokuwa Allah. Adhabu yao itazidishwa; hawakuweza kusikia wala kuona.

            أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ
            ﴿٢٢﴾
          
These are the ones who have lost themselves, and that which they used to invent has departed from them.
Hawa ndio waliopoteza nafsi zao, na yale waliyoyazua yamepotea kutoka kw wao.

            لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ
            ﴿٢٣﴾
          
Indeed, they are the ones who will lose themselves in the Hereafter.
Hakika, wao ndio walio hao wa kupoteza nafsi zao katika Akhera.

            إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَأَخْبَتُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ
            ﴿٢٤﴾
          
Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds and humble themselves before their Lord—those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein forever.
Hakika, wale wanaoamini na kufanya mema na kukamilika mbele ya Mola wao—wao ndio wenzio wa Peponi; watakaa humo milele.

            مَثَلُ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ كَٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْأَصَمِّ وَٱلْبَصِيرِ وَٱلسَّمِيعِ ۚ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿٢٥﴾
          
The example of the two groups is like the blind and the deaf compared to the seeing and hearing. Are they equal in comparison? Will you not then take heed?
Mfano wa makundi hayo mawili ni kama vipofu na viziwi ukilinganisha na wenye kuona na kusikia. Je, ni sawa? Je, hamtafanya makini?

            وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنِّى لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ
            ﴿٢٦﴾
          
And We certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], 'Indeed, I am to you a clear warner.'
Na hakika tuliimtuma Nuhu kwa watu wake, akisema, 'Hakika mimi ni mwonya wa wazi kwenu.'

            أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍۢ
            ﴿٢٧﴾
          
[Saying], 'Worship none but Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful day.'
Akisema, 'Msimtukie ila Allah. Hakika, naogopa adhabu ya siku chungu kwenu.'

            فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرًۭا مِّثْلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِىَ ٱلرَّأْىِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍۭ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كَـٰذِبِينَ
            ﴿٢٨﴾
          
But the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people said, 'We do not see you but as a human like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest among us in opinion. And we do not see any superiority of you over us; rather, we think you are liars.'
Lakini walio juu wa watu wake walio kukana walisema, 'Hatuoni kama wewe ila kama mwanadamu kama sisi, na hatuoni ufuatiliaji wako isipokuwa na wale walio chini kwetu kwa mawazo. Hatuoni ustahiki wako juu yetu; badala yake, tunakuona ni waongo.'

            قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّى وَءَاتَىٰنِى رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنْ عِندِهِۦ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنتُمْ لَهَا كَـٰرِهُونَ
            ﴿٢٩﴾
          
He said, 'O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, should I compel you to accept it while you are averse to it?'
Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, mmefikiria je, kama mimi nipo kwenye ushahidi wazi kutoka kwa Mola wangu na amenipa rehema kutoka kwake, je niwazimie mwakubali huku mkiukataa?'

            وَيَـٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًا ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُم مُّلَـٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَـٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًۭا تَجْهَلُونَ
            ﴿٣٠﴾
          
And O my people, I do not ask you for wealth; my reward is only with Allah. And I will not drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord. But I see you as a people behaving ignorantly.
Na enyi watu wangu, sikutakai mali; thawabu yangu ipo kwa Allah tu. Na sitawafukuza walioamini. Hakika watakutana na Mola wao. Lakini nakuona kama watu wanaofanya upumbavu.

            وَيَـٰقَوْمِ مَن يَنصُرُنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِن طَرَدتُّهُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
            ﴿٣١﴾
          
And O my people, who would help me against Allah if I drove them away? So will you not then take heed?
Na enyi watu wangu, nani angenisaidia dhidi ya Allah ikiwa nitawafukuza? Je, hamtafanya makini?

            وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِندِى خَزَآئِنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ إِنِّى مَلَكٌۭ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ تَزْدَرِىٓ أَعْيُنُكُمْ لَن يُؤْتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرًا ۖ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ إِنِّىٓ إِذًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
            ﴿٣٢﴾
          
And I do not say to you that I have the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen; nor do I say, 'Indeed I am an angel,' nor do I say to those whom your eyes disdain, 'Allah will never grant them any good.' Allah knows best what is in their souls, and I would then indeed be among the wrongdoers.
Na sikusemi kuwa nina hazina za Allah, wala sijui ghaibu; wala sikusemi, 'Hakika mimi ni malaika,' wala sikusemi kwa wale wanaoidhulumu macho yenu, 'Allah hawatapata mema lolote.' Allah anajua vyema yaliyo mioyoni mwao, nami ningekuwa miongoni mwa wanyanyasaji.

            قَالُوا۟ يَـٰنُوحُ قَدْ جَـٰدَلْتَنَا فَأَكْثَرْتَ جِدَٰلَنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
            ﴿٣٣﴾
          
They said, 'O Noah, you have disputed with us and greatly argued; so bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you should be of the truthful.'
Walisema, 'Enyi Nuhu, umepingana nasi na hoja zako ni nyingi; basi lete kwetu kile unachotuhadharisha, ikiwa wewe ni wa kweli.'

            قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ ٱللَّهُ إِن شَآءَ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
            ﴿٣٤﴾
          
He said, 'It is only Allah who will bring it to you, if He wills, and you will not escape.'
Akasema, 'Ni Allah tu atakayeleta kwenu, ikiwa atakubali, na hamtaweza kuikwepa.'

            وَلَا يَنفَعُكُمْ نُصْحِىٓ إِنْ أَرَدتُّ أَنْ أَنصَحَ لَكُمْ إِن كَانَ ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يُغْوِيَكُمْ ۚ هُوَ رَبُّكُمْ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
            ﴿٣٥﴾
          
And my advice will not benefit you if I wished to advise you, if Allah intends to lead you astray. He is your Lord, and to Him you will be returned.
Na ushauri wangu hautakuwa na manufaa kwenu hata nikitaka kuwaushauri, ikiwa Allah anataka kuwapoteza. Yeye ndiye Mola wenu, na kwake mtarudi.

            أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ قُلْ إِنِ ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ فَعَلَىَّ إِجْرَامِى وَأَنَا۠ بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّمَّا تُجْرِمُونَ
            ﴿٣٦﴾
          
Or do they say, 'He invented it'? Say, 'If I have invented it, then my crime is upon me, and I am innocent of what you commit.'
Au wanasema, 'Aliyazua?' Sema, 'Kama nimeyazua, kosa langu ni langu, nami niko huru kutoka kwa yale mnayofanya.'

            وَأُوحِىَ إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ أَنَّهُۥ لَن يُؤْمِنَ مِن قَوْمِكَ إِلَّا مَن قَدْ ءَامَنَ فَلَا تَبْتَئسْ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ
            ﴿٣٧﴾
          
And it was revealed to Noah that none of your people will believe except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they do.
Na ilifunuliwa kwa Nuhu kwamba hakuna mtu wa watu wako atakayemwamini isipokuwa walio tayari kuamini, kwa hivyo usikate tamaa kwa matendo yao.

            وَٱصْنَعِ ٱلْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا وَلَا تُخَـٰطِبْنِى فِى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ
            ﴿٣٨﴾
          
And construct the ship under Our observation and Our revelation, and do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.
Na ujenzi wa safina kwa macho yetu na funuo letu, wala usiniongee juu ya wale waliyo dhulumu; hakika watashushwa maji.

            وَيَصْنَعُ ٱلْفُلْكَ وَكُلَّمَا مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ مَلَأٌۭ مِّن قَوْمِهِۦ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُ ۚ قَالَ إِن تَسْخَرُوا۟ مِنَّا فَإِنَّا نَسْخَرُ مِنكُمْ كَمَا تَسْخَرُونَ
            ﴿٣٩﴾
          
And he constructed the ship, and whenever an eminent member of his people passed by, they mocked him. He said, 'If you mock us, then indeed we will mock you as you mock.'
Akasafirisha safina, na kila mtu wa watu wake aliye juu alipopita akamkosoa. Akasema, 'Kama mnatokosa heshima kwetu, basi hakika tutakukosa heshima kama mnavyofanya.'

            فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌۭ يُخْزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌۭ مُّقِيمٌ
            ﴿٤٠﴾
          
Soon you will know who will come with a punishment that will disgrace him and upon whom will descend a lasting punishment.
Hivi karibuni mtajua nani atakayepokea adhabu itakayemchafua na juu yake itayuka adhabu ya kudumu.

            حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ قُلْنَا ٱحْمِلْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّۢ زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَوْلُ وَمَنْ ءَامَنَ ۚ وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌۭ
            ﴿٤١﴾
          
Until Our command came and the oven overflowed, We said, 'Load into it of each [creature] two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has already passed, and those who have believed.' And not many of them believed with him.
Hadi amri yetu ilipofika na jiko lilipotimia, tulisema, 'Pakia ndani yake jozi mbili za kila kiumbe na familia yako, isipokuwa wale ambao maneno yametangulia, na wale waliomuamini.' Wengi hawakuamini pamoja naye.

            وَقَالَ ٱرْكَبُوا۟ فِيهَا بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ مَجْر۪ىٰهَا وَمُرْسَىٰهَآ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَغَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٤٢﴾
          
And he said, 'Embark therein in the name of Allah, its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.'
Akasema, 'Pande ndani yake kwa jina la Allah, mwelekeo wake na mlingano wake. Hakika Mola wangu ni Msamehe na Mwenye Rehema.'

            وَهِىَ تَجْرِى بِهِمْ فِى مَوْجٍ كَٱلْجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ٱبْنَهُۥ وَكَانَ فِى مَعْزِلٍۢ يَـٰبُنَىَّ ٱرْكَب مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
            ﴿٤٣﴾
          
And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son, who was apart, 'O my son, embark with us and do not be with the disbelievers.'
Na ilipita pamoja nao kwenye mawimbi kama milima, na Nuhu akamwita mwanawe aliye mbali, 'Enyi mwanangu, panda pamoja nasi na usiwe pamoja na wakaidi.'

            قَالَ سَـَٔاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍۢ يَعْصِمُنِى مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ ۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ۚ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُغْرَقِينَ
            ﴿٤٤﴾
          
He said, 'I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water.' [Noah] said, 'There is no protector today from the decree of Allah except whom He gives mercy.' And the waves came between them, so he was of the drowned.
Akasema, 'Nitafuta hifadhi kwenye mlima ili kunilinda kutokana na maji.' Akasema, 'Hakuna mlinzi leo kutokana na amri ya Allah isipokuwa kwa yule aliyepewa rehema.' Na mawimbi yakawa kati yao, hivyo akawa miongoni mwa walioungua.

            وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَـٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَٱسْتَوَتْ عَلَى ٱلْجُودِىِّ ۖ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًۭا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
            ﴿٤٥﴾
          
And it was said, 'O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [rain].' And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship settled on Al-Judi. And it was said, 'Away with the wrongdoing people.'
Na ilisemiwa, 'Enyi dunia, nyonye maji yako, na enyi anga, shusha mvua.' Na maji yakapungua, na jambo likatimizwa, na safina ilikaa juu ya Al-Judi. Na ilisemiwa, 'Toa mbali watu wa dhuluma.'

            وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌۭ رَّبَّهُۥ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ٱبْنِى مِنْ أَهْلِى وَإِنَّ وَعْدَكَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنتَ أَحْكَمُ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ
            ﴿٤٦﴾
          
And Noah called upon his Lord and said, 'My Lord, indeed my son is of my family, and indeed Your promise is true, and You are the most just of judges.'
Na Nuhu akamwita Mola wake na kusema, 'Mola wangu, hakika mwanangu ni wa familia yangu, na hakika ahadi Yako ni ya kweli, na Wewe ndiye Mwamuzi wa haki zaidi.'

            قَالَ يَـٰنُوحُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَـٰلِحٍۢ ۖ فَلَا تَسْـَٔلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَعِظُكَ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ
            ﴿٤٧﴾
          
Allah said, 'O Noah, indeed he is not of your family; indeed, his work is not righteous. So do not ask Me about what you have no knowledge of. I admonish you not to be among the ignorant.'
Allah alisema, 'Enyi Nuhu, hakika yeye si wa familia yako; hakika matendo yake si mema. Hivyo usiniulize kuhusu kile usicho na maarifa kuhusu hicho. Ninakuonya usiwe miongoni mwa wajinga.'

            قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْـَٔلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۭ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِى وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
            ﴿٤٨﴾
          
He said, 'My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.'
Akasema, 'Mola wangu, natafuta hifadhi Kwako kuhusiana na kuuliza juu ya kile sina maarifa nacho. Na isipokuwa Ukisamehe na unirehemu, nitakuwa miongoni mwa wapotevu.'

            قِيلَ يَـٰنُوحُ ٱهْبِطْ بِسَلَـٰمٍۢ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكَـٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍۢ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَ ۚ وَأُمَمٌۭ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ
            ﴿٤٩﴾
          
It was said, 'O Noah, descend with peace from Us and blessings upon you and upon peoples [remaining] with you. But other peoples We will let enjoy for a time; then there will touch them from Us a painful punishment.'
Ikasemwa, 'Enyi Nuhu, shuka kwa amani kutoka Kwetu na baraka juu yako na juu ya makabila yaliyo nawe. Lakini makabila mengine tutayafurahisha kwa muda, kisha tutawafikishia adhabu ya maumivu kutoka Kwetu.'

            تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيْكَ ۖ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَآ أَنْتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَـٰذَا ۖ فَٱصْبِرْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلْعَـٰقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
            ﴿٥٠﴾
          
These are from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the outcome is for the righteous.
Hizi ni habari za yaliyofichika tulizofunua kwako. Hujui hizo, wala wewe wala watu wako, kabla ya hili. Hivyo kuwa na subira; hakika mwisho ni kwa waaminifu.

            وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًۭا ۚ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُفْتَرُونَ
            ﴿٥١﴾
          
And to 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, 'O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. You are not but inventors [of falsehood].'
Na kwa 'Aad tuliwatuma ndugu yao Hud. Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, mnumini Allah; hakuna mungu mwingine isipokuwa Yeye. Ninyi ni wabunifu wa uongo tu.'

            يَـٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِىٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
            ﴿٥٢﴾
          
O my people, I do not ask you for any reward for it. My reward is only with Him who created me. Will you not then reason?
Enyi watu wangu, siwaulizi malipo yoyote kwa hili. Malipo yangu ni kwa yule aliye niliumba. Je, hamtaelewa akili?

            يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً إِلَىٰ قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
            ﴿٥٣﴾
          
O my people, seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him; He will send upon you sky pouring [rain] and increase you in strength to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals.
Enyi watu wangu, mtafutie msamaha Mola wenu kisha mgeukie Yeye; Atatumia mbingu juu yenu kwa mvua inayonyesha na kuimarisha nguvu zenu. Na msigeuke, makiwa wahalifu.

            قَالُوا۟ يَـٰهُودُ مَا جِئْتَنَا بِبَيِّنَةٍۢ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِىٓ ءَالِهَتِنَا عَن قَوْلِكَ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
            ﴿٥٤﴾
          
They said, 'O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we will not abandon our gods for your words, nor are we believers in you.'
Wakasema, 'Enyi Hud, hujatuletea ushahidi wazi, na hatutawaacha miungu yetu kwa maneno yako, wala hatumiamini wewe.'

            إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعْتَرَىٰكَ بَعْضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٍۢ ۗ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أُشْهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشْهَدُوٓا۟ أَنِّى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ
            ﴿٥٥﴾
          
We will not say except that some of our gods have harmed you.' He said, 'Indeed, I bear witness to Allah, and you bear witness, that I am free from what you associate [with Him].'
Sitasema isipokuwa baadhi ya miungu yetu imekuumiza.' Akasema, 'Hakika ninashuhudia mbele ya Allah, na nyinyi mashahidi, kwamba mimi ni huru kutokana na yale mliyo yaunganisha (na Allah).' 

            مِن دُونِهِۦ ۖ فَكِيدُونِى جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ لَا تُنظِرُونِ
            ﴿٥٦﴾
          
Against Him. So plan against me all together; then do not give me respite.
Dhidi Yeye. Basi mpange dhidi yangu wote pamoja; kisha msiniletee faraja.

            إِنِّى تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّى وَرَبِّكُم ۚ مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ ءَاخِذٌۢ بِنَاصِيَتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
            ﴿٥٧﴾
          
Indeed, I have relied upon Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but that He holds it by its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is on a straight path.
Hakika, nimejitegemea kwa Allah, Mola wangu na Mola wenu. Hakuna kiumbe ila Yeye amekishika kwa shingo yake. Hakika Mola wangu yuko kwenye njia iliyo ya moja kwa moja.

            فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ رَبِّى قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّونَهُۥ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَفِيظٌۭ
            ﴿٥٨﴾
          
But if they turn away, then I have conveyed to you that with which I was sent to you. And my Lord will grant succession to a people other than you, and you will not harm Him at all. Indeed, my Lord is over all things, Guardian.
Lakini wakigeuka, basi nimewakilisha kwenu kile nilichotumwa kwenu. Na Mola wangu atachukua waki mwingine badala yenu, wala hamtamudu Yeye chochote. Hakika Mola wangu yuko juu ya kila kitu, Mlinzi.

            وَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا هُودًۭا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَّا وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍۢ
            ﴿٥٩﴾
          
And when Our command came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him by mercy from Us, and We saved them from a harsh punishment.
Na ilipokuja amri Yetu, Tukaokoa Hud na wale waliomuamini pamoja naye kwa rehema kutoka Kwetu, na Tukaokoa kutoka adhabu kali.

            وَتِلْكَ عَادٌۭ ۖ جَحَدُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا۟ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍۢ
            ﴿٦٠﴾
          
And [as for] 'Aad, they denied the signs of their Lord, disobeyed His messengers, and followed the command of every stubborn tyrant.
Na kuhusiana na 'Aad, walikana ishara za Mola wao, wakakataa mitume Wake, na wakafuata amri ya kila dhambi na mnyanyasaji.

            وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةًۭ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ عَادًۭا كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًۭا لِّعَادٍۢ قَوْمِ هُودٍۢ
            ﴿٦١﴾
          
'Aad were followed in this world with a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, 'Aad disbelieved in their Lord. So away with 'Aad, the people of Hud.
'Aad walifuatwa katika dunia hii kwa laana, na siku ya kiyama. Hakika 'Aad waliikana Mola wao. Basi pole kwa 'Aad, watu wa Hud.

            وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَـٰلِحًۭا ۚ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ ۖ هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا فَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى قَرِيبٌۭ مُّجِيبٌۭ
            ﴿٦٢﴾
          
And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, 'O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He created you from the earth and settled you in it. So ask forgiveness of Him and repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive.'
Na kwa Thamud tuliwatuma ndugu yao Salih. Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, mtumikieni Allah; hamna mungu mwingine isipokuwa Yeye. Yeye aliwazalisha kutoka ardhini na kuwaweka humo. Hivyo mwombe msamaha kwa Yeye na mrudie kweye Yeye. Hakika Mola wangu yuko karibu na husikia.'

            قَالُوا۟ يَـٰصَـٰلِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّۭا قَبْلَ هَٰذَآ ۖ أَتَنْهَىٰنَآ أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِى شَكٍّۢ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَآ إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍۢ
            ﴿٦٣﴾
          
They said, 'O Salih, you were hoped for among us before this. Will you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshiped? Indeed, we are in doubt about that to which you invite us.'
Wakasema, 'Enyi Salih, ulikuwa unatarajiwa kati yetu kabla ya hili. Je, utatuzuia kumtumikia Aliyemtii baba zetu? Hakika tuko kwenye shaka kuhusu kile unachotualika nacho.'

            قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّى وَءَاتَىٰنِى مِنْهُ رَحْمَةًۭ فَمَن يَنصُرُنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ عَصَيْتُهُۥ ۖ فَمَا تَزِيدُونَنِى غَيْرَ تَخْسِيرٍۢ
            ﴿٦٤﴾
          
He said, 'O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, who will protect me from Allah if I disobey Him? So you only increase me in loss.'
Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, mmeona? Ikiwa mimi nipo na ushahidi wazi kutoka kwa Mola wangu na Amepeana rehema kutoka Kwake, nani atanilinda kwa Allah nikikosea? Hivyo mnaniongeza hasara tu.'

            وَ‌يَـٰقَوْمِ هَـٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةُ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ ءَايَةًۭ فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِىٓ أَرْضِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍۢ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌۭ قَرِيبٌۭ
            ﴿٦٥﴾
          
And O my people, this is the she-camel of Allah, a sign for you. So let her feed upon Allah’s earth and do not harm her, lest a near punishment seize you.
Na enyi watu wangu, huyu ni ngamia wa Allah, ishara kwenu. Hivyo mruwe akilie katika ardhi ya Allah na msimdharau, la sivyo adhabu ya karibu itawakamata.

            فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ فِى دَارِكُمْ ثَلَـٰثَةَ أَيَّامٍۢ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكذُوبٍۢ
            ﴿٦٦﴾
          
But they hamstrung her, and he said, 'Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied.'
Lakini wakaiua (ngamia) kwa kukata miguu yake, naye akasema, 'Furahia nyumbani kwenu kwa siku tatu. Hiyo ni ahadi isiyoweza kupingwa.'

            فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صَـٰلِحًۭا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْىِ يَوْمِئِذٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْقَوِىُّ ٱلْعَزِيزُ
            ﴿٦٧﴾
          
So when Our command came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him by mercy from Us, and [saved them] from the disgrace of that day. Indeed, your Lord is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might.
Hivyo ilipokuja amri Yetu, Tukaokoa Salih na wale waliomuamini pamoja naye kwa rehema kutoka Kwetu, na tukawaokoa kutoka unyanyasaji wa siku hiyo. Hakika Mola wako ndiye Mwenye Nguvu, Aliye Mwenye Hekima na Uwezo.

            وَأَخَذَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دِيَـٰرِهِمْ جَـٰثِمِينَ
            ﴿٦٨﴾
          
And the ones who wronged were seized by the blast, and they became within their homes fallen dead.
Na wale waliyo dhulumu walikamatwa na kelele (mlipuko), wakaanguka wakiwa ndani ya makazi yao wakiwa wamekufa.

            كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَآ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ثَمُودَا۟ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًۭا لِّثَمُودَ
            ﴿٦٩﴾
          
As if they had never prospered in it. Indeed, Thamud disbelieved in their Lord. So away with Thamud.
Kana kwamba hawakufanikisha lolote humo. Hakika Thamud waliikana Mola wao. Basi pole kwa Thamud.

            وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًۭا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌۭ ۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍۢ
            ﴿٧٠﴾
          
And certainly Our messengers came to Abraham with good tidings; they said, 'Peace.' He said, 'Peace,' and he did not delay to bring a roasted calf.
Na hakika Mitume Yetu walikuja kwa Ibrahimu wakiwa na habari njema; wakasema, 'Salamu.' Akasema, 'Salamu,' na hakuchelewa kuleta ng'ombe aliyechomwa.

            فَلَمَّا رَءَآ أَيْدِيَهُمْ لَا تَصِلُ إِلَيْهِ نَكِرَهُمْ وَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةًۭ ۚ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِ لُوطٍۢ
            ﴿٧١﴾
          
But when he saw their hands not reaching for it, he felt some fear of them. They said, 'Do not be afraid. Indeed, We have been sent to the people of Lot.'
Lakini alipoona mikono yao haikifikia, alihisi hofu kutoka kwao. Wakasema, 'Usiogope, kwa hakika tumepelekwa kwa watu wa Lut.'

            وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ قَآئِمَةٌۭ فَضَحِكَتْ فَبَشَّرْنَـٰهَا بِإِسْحَـٰقَ وَمِن وَرَآءِ إِسْحَـٰقَ يَعْقُوبَ
            ﴿٧٢﴾
          
And his wife was standing, and she laughed. So We gave her good tidings of Isaac, and after Isaac, Jacob.
Na mke wake alikuwa amesimama, naye akacheka. Basi Tumempa habari njema ya Isaha, na baada ya Isaha, Yakubu.

            قَالَتْ يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰٓ ءَأَلِدُ وَأَنَا۠ عَجُوزٌۭ وَهَـٰذَا بَعْلِى شَيْخًا ۖ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عَجِيبٌۭ
            ﴿٧٣﴾
          
She said, 'Woe to me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and this my husband is an old man? Truly, this is an amazing thing!'
Akasema, 'Je, nitapata mtoto huku mimi ni mzee, na huyu mume wangu ni mzee? Hakika hili ni jambo la ajabu!'

            قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَعْجَبِينَ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ رَحْمَتُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَـٰتُهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ ٱلْبَيْتِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَمِيدٌۭ مَّجِيدٌۭ
            ﴿٧٤﴾
          
They said, 'Do you marvel at the decree of Allah? His mercy and blessings are upon you, O family of Abraham. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy, Glorious.'
Wakasema, 'Je, unashangaa amri ya Allah? Rehema na baraka za Allah ziko juu yenu, enyi familia ya Ibrahimu. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye Sifa Njema, Mwenye Utukufu.'

            فَلَمَّا ذَهَبَ عَنْ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلرَّوْعُ وَجَآءَتْهُ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ يُجَـٰدِلُنَا فِى قَوْمِ لُوطٍ
            ﴿٧٥﴾
          
So when the fear had gone from Abraham, and the good tidings had come to him, he began to argue with Us concerning the people of Lot.
Hivyo hofu ilipotoweka kwa Ibrahimu na habari njema ikamfikia, alianza kuhoji kwetu kuhusu watu wa Lut.

            إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّٰهٌۭ مُّنِيبٌۭ
            ﴿٧٦﴾
          
Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, most devoted and penitent.
Hakika Ibrahimu alikuwa mvumilivu, mnyenyekevu na mtubu.

            يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَـٰذَآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ قَدْ جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَإِنَّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِمْ عَذَابٌ غَيْرُ مَرْدُودٍۢ
            ﴿٧٧﴾
          
O Abraham, turn away from this. Indeed, the command of your Lord has come, and they will be visited by a punishment that cannot be repelled.
Enyi Ibrahimu, geuka mbali na hili. Hakika amri ya Mola wako imetimia, na watapatiwa adhabu isiyoweza kuepukwa.

            وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًۭا سِىٓءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًۭا وَقَالَ هَـٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَصِيبٌۭ
            ﴿٧٨﴾
          
And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed for them and felt powerless, and he said, 'This is a hard day.'
Na ilipokuja Mitume Yetu kwa Lut, alihisi huzuni kwa ajili yao na alihisi hana uwezo, akasema, 'Hii ni siku ngumu.'

            وَجَآءَهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ يُهْرَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِى هُنَّ أَطْهَرُ لَكُمْ ۖ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ فِى ضَيْفِىٓ ۖ أَلَيْسَ مِنكُمْ رَجُلٌۭ رَّشِيدٌۭ
            ﴿٧٩﴾
          
And his people came to him rushing, while they had been doing evil deeds before. He said, 'O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not a right-minded man among you?'
Na watu wake walimkaribia kwa haraka, huku awali wakifanya maovu. Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, hawa ni binti zangu, ni safi zaidi kwenu. Hivyo mtue Mola na msinihujumu kuhusu wageni wangu. Je, hakuna mwanaume mwenye akili miongoni mwenu?'

            قَالُوا۟ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا لَنَا فِى بَنَاتِكَ مِنْ حَقٍّۢ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ
            ﴿٨٠﴾
          
They said, 'You know well that we have no claim over your daughters, and indeed, you know what we intend.'
Wakasema, 'Unajua vizuri kwamba hatuna haki juu ya binti zako, na hakika unajua kile tunachokusudia.'

            قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِى بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ ءَاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ رُكْنٍۢ شَدِيدٍۢ
            ﴿٨١﴾
          
He said, 'If only I had strength against you or could take refuge in a strong support.'
Akasema, 'La hasha kama ningekuwa na nguvu dhidi yenu au nikapata hifadhi kwenye kiti chenye nguvu.'

            قَالُوا۟ يَـٰلُوطُ إِنَّا رُسُلُ رَبِّكَ لَن يَصِلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْكَ ۖ فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَكَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ مُصِيبُهَا مَآ أَصَابَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ مَوْعِدَهُمُ ٱلصُّبْحُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ ٱلصُّبْحُ بِقَرِيبٍۢ
            ﴿٨٢﴾
          
They said, 'O Lot, indeed We are messengers of your Lord; they will not reach you. So take your family into the night and do not let anyone look back except your wife; indeed, she will be seized by that which seized them. Their appointed time is the morning. Is not the morning near?'
Wakasema, 'Enyi Lut, hakika sisi ni Mitume wa Mola wako; hawatakufikia. Basi chukua familia yako usiku na usiruhusu mtu atazame nyuma isipokuwa mke wako; hakika atakamatwa na kile kilichowapata. Muda wao ni asubuhi. Je, asubuhi haijakaribia?'

            فَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا جَعَلْنَا عَـٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا حِجَارَةًۭ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ مَّنضُودٍۢ
            ﴿٨٣﴾
          
So when Our command came, We made the upper part of the city lower and rained upon it stones of layered clay.
Hivyo ilipokuja amri Yetu, Tukageuza sehemu ya juu ya mji kuwa chini na tukanyesha juu yake mawe ya udongo uliopangwa.

            مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَمَا هِىَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٍۢ
            ﴿٨٤﴾
          
Marked by your Lord, and it was not far from the wrongdoing people.
Iliyopangwa na Mola wako, na haikuwa mbali na watu wa dhuluma.

            وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًۭا ۚ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ ۖ وَلَا تَنقُصُوا۟ ٱلْمِكْيَالَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۚ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُم بِخَيْرٍۢ وَإِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍۢ مُّحِيطٍۢ
            ﴿٨٥﴾
          
And to Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'aib. He said, 'O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Do not diminish the measure and the scale. Indeed, I see you in good condition, but I fear for you the punishment of a encompassing day.'
Na kwa Madyan, tukaweka ndugu yao Shu'aib. Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, mtumikieni Allah, hakuna mungu mwingine kwenu isipokuwa Yeye. Msipunguze kipimo na mizani. Hakika naona ninyi mko katika hali njema, lakini naogopa adhabu ya siku inayozunguka.'

            وَيَـٰقَوْمِ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْمِكْيَالَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
            ﴿٨٦﴾
          
O my people, give full measure and weight with justice and do not deprive people of their due and do not cause corruption in the land.
Enyi watu wangu, toeni kipimo kamili na mizani kwa haki, msipunguze watu haki zao, na msiharibu nchi.

            بَقِيَّتُ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍۢ
            ﴿٨٧﴾
          
The remainder that Allah gives is better for you if you are believers. And I am not a guardian over you.
Kile kinachobaki cha Allah ni bora kwenu ikiwa mna imani. Na mimi si mlezi wenu.

            قَالُوا۟ يَـٰشُعَيْبُ أَصَلَوٰتُكَ تَأْمُرُكَ أَن نَّتْرُكَ مَا يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَآ أَوْ أَن نَّفْعَلَ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِنَا مَا نَشَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ ٱلْحَلِيمُ ٱلرَّشِيدُ
            ﴿٨٨﴾
          
They said, 'O Shu'aib, does your prayer command you that we leave what our fathers worship, or that we do with our wealth what we please? Indeed, you are forbearing, right-minded.'
Wakasema, 'Enyi Shu'aib, je, sala zako zinakuamsha uache mungu waliyo waiabudu baba zetu au tufanye katika mali zetu tunachotaka? Hakika wewe ni mvumilivu na mwenye busara.'

            قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّى وَرَزَقَنِى مِنْهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًۭا ۚ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُخَالِفَكُمْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنْهَىٰكُمْ عَنْهُ ۚ إِنْ أُرِيدُ إِلَّا ٱلْإِصْلَـٰحَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُ ۚ وَمَا تَوْفِيقِىٓ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ۚ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ
            ﴿٨٩﴾
          
He said, 'O my people, have you considered: if I am upon a clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with good provision, I do not intend to disobey you to what I forbid you, but only intend reform as much as I can. And my success is only by Allah. Upon Him I rely, and to Him I turn.'
Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, mmeliona kama mimi nipo katika ushahidi wa wazi kutoka kwa Mola wangu, na Yeye amenipa riziki nzuri, si nia yangu kuwapingia kwa kile ninachowazuia, bali ni kuleta uboreshaji kadiri ya uwezo wangu. Mafanikio yangu ni kwa Allah peke yake. Naye nimemtegemea na kwa Yeye narudi.'

            وَيَـٰقَوْمِ لَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شِقَاقِىٓ أَن يُصِيبَكُم مِّثْلُ مَآ أَصَابَ قَوْمَ نُوحٍ أَوْ قَوْمَ هُودٍ أَوْ قَوْمَ صَـٰلِحٍۢ ۚ وَمَا قَوْمُ لُوطٍۢ مِّنكُم بِبَعِيدٍۢ
            ﴿٩٠﴾
          
And O my people, do not let my opposition cause you to be struck by the like of what struck the people of Noah, Hud, or Salih. And the people of Lot are not far from you.
Na enyi watu wangu, msiruhusu upinzani wangu wenu usiwapelekee kile kilichowapata watu wa Nuhu, Hud, au Salih. Na watu wa Lut hawako mbali kwenu.

            وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى رَحِيمٌۭ وَدُودٌۭ
            ﴿٩١﴾
          
And ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Merciful and Loving.
Msamehe Mola wenu kisha mtubu kwake. Hakika Mola wangu ni Mwenye Rehema na Mpenda.

            قَالُوا۟ يَـٰشُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًۭا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًۭا ۖ وَلَوْلَا رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَـٰكَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍۢ
            ﴿٩٢﴾
          
They said, 'O Shu'aib, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed we see you as weak among us. If it were not for your clan, we would have stoned you. And you are not mighty over us.'
Wakasema, 'Enyi Shu'aib, hatuelewi mengi unavyosema, na hakika tunakuona dhaifu miongoni mwetu. Kama si kwa familia yako, tungekupiga mawe. Na huwezi kututawala.'

            قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَرَهْطِىٓ أَعَزُّ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُ وَرَآءَكُمْ ظِهْرِيًّا ۖ إِنَّ رَبِّى بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌۭ
            ﴿٩٣﴾
          
He said, 'O my people, is my clan more mighty for you than Allah, and have you taken them as supporters instead of Him? Indeed, my Lord encompasses all that you do.'
Akasema, 'Enyi watu wangu, je, familia yangu ni yenye nguvu zaidi kwenu kuliko Allah, na mmewachukua kuwa wafuasi wenu badala yake? Hakika Mola wangu anakuzungukia yote mnafanya.'

            وَيَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّى عَـٰمِلٌۭ ۖ سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌۭ يُخْزِيهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ كَـٰذِبٌۭ ۖ وَٱرْتَقِبُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُمْ رَقِيبٌۭ
            ﴿٩٤﴾
          
And O my people, work according to your position; indeed I am working. Soon you will know who will be visited by a punishment that will disgrace him, and who is a liar. And watch, indeed I am with you a watcher.
Na enyi watu wangu, fanyeni kazi kwa nafasi zenu; hakika mimi ninafanya kazi. Hivi karibuni mtajua ni nani atakayepatiwa adhabu itakayemhujumu, na ni nani mwongo. Na angalia, hakika mimi nipo nanyi kama mlinzi.'

            وَلَمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا شُعَيْبًۭا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنَّا وَأَخَذَتِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دِيَـٰرِهِمْ جَـٰثِمِينَ
            ﴿٩٥﴾
          
And when Our command came, We saved Shu'aib and those who believed with him by Our mercy, and the ones who wronged were seized by the blast, and they became [lifeless] in their homes.
Na ilipokuja amri Yetu, Tukemlea Shu'aib na wale waliomuamini pamoja naye kwa rehma Yetu, na wale walio dhulumu walikamatwa na mlipuko, na wakawa wakiwa wamesimama bila uhai katika nyumba zao.

            كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَآ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًۭا لِّمَدْيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتْ ثَمُودُ
            ﴿٩٦﴾
          
As if they had never prospered in it. So away with Madyan, as Thamud were gone.
Kana kwamba hawakuwahi kustawi humo. Basi mbali na Madyan, kama walivyofutwa Thamud.

            وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍ
            ﴿٩٧﴾
          
And indeed We sent Moses with Our signs and clear authority.
Hakika Tukaweka Musa akiwa na ishara Zetu na mamlaka wazi.

            إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ فَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۖ وَمَآ أَمْرُ فِرْعَوْنَ بِرَشِيدٍۢ
            ﴿٩٨﴾
          
To Pharaoh and his leaders, but they followed the command of Pharaoh, and Pharaoh's command was not guided.
Kwa Firauni na viongozi wake, lakini wakafuata amri ya Firauni, na amri ya Firauni haikuwa ya haki.

            يَقْدُمُ قَوْمَهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فَأَوْرَدَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْوِرْدُ ٱلْمَوْرُودُ
            ﴿٩٩﴾
          
He will lead his people on the Day of Resurrection and cast them into the Fire, and wretched is the destination.
Atawatenda watu wake siku ya Kiyama na kuwaingiza katika Moto, na mbaya kweli ni makazi hayo.

            وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ فِى هَـٰذِهِۦ لَعْنَةًۭ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ بِئْسَ ٱلرِّفْدُ ٱلْمَرْفُودُ
            ﴿١٠٠﴾
          
And they were followed in this world by a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection. Wretched indeed is the gift that is rejected.
Waliwaandamana katika dunia hii laana, na pia siku ya Kiyama. Basi kibaya kweli ni zawadi ile iliyo kataliwa.

            ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّهُۥ عَلَيْكَ ۖ مِنْهَا قَآئمٌۭ وَحَصِيدٌۭ
            ﴿١٠١﴾
          
This is among the stories of the towns which We relate to you. Some of them are standing and some have been harvested.
Hizi ni baadhi ya hadithi za miji tunazokueleza. Baadhi yao bado yapo, na baadhi yameharibiwa.

            وَمَا ظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۖ فَمَآ أَغْنَتْ عَنْهُمْ ءَالِهَتُهُمُ ٱلَّتِى يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ لَّمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَمَا زَادُوهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيبٍۢ
            ﴿١٠٢﴾
          
And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. Their gods which they invoked besides Allah did not avail them when the command of your Lord came, and they gained nothing.
Na hatukuwa na dhuluma juu yao, bali walidhulumu nafsi zao. Miungu yao waliyo iita badala ya Allah haikuwasaidia wakati amri ya Mola wako ilipokuja, na hawakuongeza chochote.

            وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَهِىَ ظَـٰلِمَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٌۭ شَدِيدٌ
            ﴿١٠٣﴾
          
Thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are wronging. Indeed, His seizure is painful, severe.
Hivyo ndivyo upigaji wa Mola wako anapopiga miji iliyo katika dhuluma. Hakika upigaji wake ni wa maumivu na mkali.

            إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّمَنْ خَافَ عَذَابَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌۭ مَّجْمُوعٌۭ لَّهُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌۭ مَّشْهُودٌۭ
            ﴿١٠٤﴾
          
Indeed, in that is a sign for those who fear the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day when the people will be gathered, and it is a witnessed Day.
Hakika katika hili kuna ishara kwa wale wanaoogopa adhabu ya Akhera. Hiyo ni siku watu watakusanywa, na ni siku ya kushuhudiwa.

            وَمَا نُؤَخِّرُهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِأَجَلٍۢ مَّعْدُودٍۢ
            ﴿١٠٥﴾
          
And We delay it only to an appointed term.
Na hatuiwekea muda wake isipokuwa kwa wakati uliopangwa.

            يَوْمَ يَأْتِ لَا تَكَلَّمُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ فَمِنْهُمْ شَقِىٌّۭ وَسَعِيدٌۭ
            ﴿١٠٦﴾
          
The Day it comes, no soul will speak except by His permission. Among them will be the wretched and the happy.
Siku itakapo kuja, hakuna nafsi itakayoongea isipokuwa kwa idhini Yake. Kati yao watakuwa waliafiki na waliofurahi.

            فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ شَقُوا۟ فَفِى ٱلنَّارِ لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌۭ وَشَهِيقٌ
            ﴿١٠٧﴾
          
As for the wretched, they will be in the Fire, wherein they will sigh and groan.
Kama kwa waliafiki, watakuwa katika Moto, ambapo watapumua kwa mateso na kupiga mlio.

            خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٌۭ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
            ﴿١٠٨﴾
          
They will abide therein forever as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills. Indeed, your Lord is over all things competent.
Watabaki humo milele kadiri ya kudumu kwa mbingu na ardhi, isipokuwa kama Mola wako atakavyotaka. Hakika Mola wako ni Mwenye uwezo juu ya kila kitu.

            وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ سُعِدُوا۟ فَفِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَ ۖ عَطَآءً غَيْرَ مَجْذُوذٍۢ
            ﴿١٠٩﴾
          
But as for the happy, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills, a gift uninterrupted.
Na kwa wale waliyo furahi, watakuwa Peponi, wakibaki humo milele kadiri ya kudumu kwa mbingu na ardhi, isipokuwa kama Mola wako atakavyotaka, zawadi isiyo na kukoma.

            فَلَا تَكُ فِى مِرْيَةٍۢ مِّمَّا يَعْبُدُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ۚ مَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا كَمَا يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُهُم مِّن قَبْلُ ۚ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوصٍۢ
            ﴿١١٠﴾
          
So do not be in doubt about what they worship. They worship nothing but as their forefathers worshiped before. And We will give them their share, not a thing less.
Basi usiwe na shaka kuhusu kile wanacho ibada. Hawaimbii ila kama baba zao walivyokuwa wakiiabudu hapo awali. Na tutawalipa sehemu yao bila kupunguzwa.

            وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ فَٱخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌۭ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِى شَكٍّۢ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍۢ
            ﴿١١١﴾
          
And We gave Moses the Book, and there was disagreement over it; and if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been decided between them. And indeed, they are in doubt about it, in great confusion.
Na tumempa Musa Kitabu, na kulikuwa na tofauti juu yake; na kama si kwa neno lililotangulia kutoka kwa Mola wako, ingekuwa imetatuliwa kati yao. Na hakika wako katika shaka kubwa kuhusu hilo.

            وَإِنَّ كُلًّۭا لَّمَّا لَيُوَفِّيَنَّهُمْ رَبُّكَ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ
            ﴿١١٢﴾
          
And indeed, your Lord will give them their deeds in full. Indeed, He is All-Aware of what they do.
Na hakika Mola wako atawalipa kwa matendo yao yote kikamilifu. Hakika Yeye ni Mjuzi wa kila wanayofanya.

            فَٱسْتَقِمْ كَمَآ أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ
            ﴿١١٣﴾
          
So remain steadfast as you were commanded, along with those who have repented with you, and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.
Basi simama imara kama ulivyo amriwa, pamoja na wale waliotubu pamoja nawe, wala msivuke mipaka. Hakika Yeye anaona kila mnachofanya.

            وَلَا تَرْكَنُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ فَتَمَسَّكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآء ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ
            ﴿١١٤﴾
          
And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire touches you; and you will have no protector besides Allah, and you will not be helped.
Wala msipendelezee wale wanaofanya dhuluma, la sivyo Moto utakugusa; na hamta kuwa na mlezi isipokuwa Allah, wala hamtasaidiwa.

            وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ طَرَفَىِ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلْحَسَنَـٰتِ يُذْهِبْنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ذِكْرَىٰ لِلذَّٰكِرِينَ
            ﴿١١٥﴾
          
And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night. Indeed, good deeds erase bad deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful.
Na endeleeni kufanya sala mwanzoni na mwishoni mwa siku na kwenye sehemu za usiku. Hakika mema hutafuta mabaya. Hii ni kumbusho kwa wale wenye akili.

            وَٱصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
            ﴿١١٦﴾
          
So be patient. Indeed, Allah does not allow the reward of the doers of good to be lost.
Basi jisikize subira. Hakika Allah haipotezi thawabu ya wema wa watekelezaji mema.

            فَلَوْلَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ أُو۟لُوا۟ بَقِيَّةٍۢ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْفَسَادِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّمَّنْ أَنجَيْنَا مِنْهُمْ ۗ وَٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَآ أُتْرِفُوا۟ فِيهِ وَكَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
            ﴿١١٧﴾
          
Had there not been for generations before you those who forbade corruption in the land, except a few whom We saved, the wrongdoers would have followed their desires and been criminals.
Kama si kwa vizazi kabla yenu waliokuwa wakizuia uharibifu duniani, isipokuwa wachache tu waliotuokolewa, waliafiki wangefuata tamaa zao na kuwa wahalifu.

            وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍۢ وَأَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُونَ
            ﴿١١٨﴾
          
And your Lord would never destroy towns unjustly while their people are reformers.
Na Mola wako hatangamizi miji kwa dhuluma ilhali watu wake wakiwa wakiifanya mema.

            وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ
            ﴿١١٩﴾
          
And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community, but they will not cease to differ.
Na kama Mola wako atataka, angeweza kufanya wanadamu kuwa umma mmoja, lakini hawawezi kuacha kuwa tofauti.

            إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ ۚ وَلِذَٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ ۗ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
            ﴿١٢٠﴾
          
Except for those upon whom your Lord has mercy. And for that He created them. And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled: ‘I will surely fill Hell with jinn and mankind altogether.’
Isipokuwa kwa wale ambao Mola wako amewaonyesha rehema. Na kwa ajili hiyo aliwaumba. Na neno la Mola wako limekamilika: ‘Hakika Nitajaza Jahannamu kwa majini na wanadamu wote.’

            وَكُلًّۭا نَّقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلرُّسُلِ مَا نُثَبِّتُ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ ۚ وَجَآءَكَ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَقُّ وَمَوْعِظَةٌۭ وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
            ﴿١٢١﴾
          
And all of them We relate to you of the stories of the messengers, so that your heart may be firm. And in this comes the truth, a lesson, and a reminder for the believers.
Na yote tunakueleza hadithi za mitume, ili moyo wako ukae imara. Na katika hili kuna kweli, mafunzo, na kumbusho kwa waumini.

            وَقُل لِّلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنَّا عَـٰمِلُونَ
            ﴿١٢٢﴾
          
And say to those who do not believe, ‘Work according to your position; indeed, We are working.’
Na waambie wale wasioamini: ‘Fanyeni kazi kulingana na nafasi yenu; hakika Sisi tunaendelea kufanya kazi.’

            وَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ
            ﴿١٢٣﴾
          
And wait; indeed, We are waiting.
Na subiri; hakika Sisi tuko katika subira pia.

            وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُ ٱلْأَمْرُ كُلُّهُۥ فَٱعْبُدْهُ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَيْهِ ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
            ﴿١٢٤﴾
          
To Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth; and to Him all matters are returned. So worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.
Milele ya mbingu na ardhi iko kwa Allah; na kwake masuala yote hurudi. Basi kumwabudu na kumtegemea. Na Mola wako si mjinga juu ya mnachofanya.
