Virtues, description, and recitation method of Third: This supplicatory prayer wards off sinning and brings as recorded in Shia traditions.
Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa Tatu: Sala hii ya dua inazuia dhambi na kuleta kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
يَا مَنْ اَظْهَرَ الْجَمِيْلَ
O He Who has shown only goodness,
Ewe Ambaye ameonyesha wema tu,
وَ سَتَرَ الْقَبِيْحَ
concealed the evil (deeds of His servants),
akaficha maovu (ya waja wake).
وَ لَمْ يَهْتِكِ السَّثْرَ عَنَّىْ
and has not exposed the hidden!
na hajafichua yaliyofichika!
يَا كَرِيْمَ الْعَفْوِ
O He Who is generous in pardoning!
Ewe Ambaye ni Mkarimu wa kusamehe!
يَا حَسَنَ التَّجَاوُزِ
O He Who is Excellent in overlooking!
Ewe Ambaye ni Mbora wa kutazama!
يَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
O He Who is Liberal in forgiving!
Ewe Aliye Mkarimu katika kusamehe!
وَ يَا بَاسِطَ اليَدَيْنِ بِالرَّحْمَةِ
O He Who opens His hands wide with mercy!
Ewe Mwenye kuifungua mikono yake kwa rehema!
يَا صَاحِبَ كُلِّ نَجْوْى
O He Who is present in all confidential talks!
Ewe Aliyekuwepo katika mazungumzo yote ya siri!
وَ يَا مُنْتَهَى كُلِّ شَكْوْى
O He Who is the ultimate objective of all complaints!
Ewe Ambaye ndiye lengo kuu la malalamiko yote!
يَا كَرِيْمَ الصَّفْحِ
O He Who is generous in condoning!
Ewe Ambaye ni mkarimu katika kusamehe!
يَا عَظِيْمَ الْمَنَّ
O He Who is great in favoring!
Ewe Ambaye ni mkubwa wa kufadhilisha!
يَا مُنْتَدِءَ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ قَبْلَ اسْتِحْقَاقِهَا
O He Who takes the initiative in enduing with all favors before they are deserved!
Ewe Ambaye anachukua hatua ya kustahimili neema zote kabla hazijastahiki!
يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا سَيِّدَاهُ يَا مَوْليَاهُ
O my Lord! O my Master! O my Cherisher!
Ewe Mola wangu Mlezi! Ewe Bwana wangu! Ewe Mlezi wangu!
يَا غَايَتَاهُ يَا غِيَاثاهُ
O my utmost hope! O my aide!
Ewe tumaini langu kuu! Ewe msaidizi wangu!
صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ
(Please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
(Tafadhali) rehema juu ya Muhammad na Aali Muhammad
وَ اَسْئَلُكَ آَنْ لَا تَجْعَلَنِن فِي النَّارِ
and I beseech You not to put me in Hellfire.
na nakuomba usinitie Motoni.
اَللَّهُمَّ اَنْتَ ثِقَتِى فِى كُلِّ كُرْبَةٍ
You are my trust in all hard times,
Wewe ni tumaini langu katika nyakati zote ngumu,
وَ أَنْتَ رَجَآئِى فِى كُلّ شِدَّةٍ
You are my hope in all ordeals,
Wewe ni tumaini langu katika majaribu yote,
وَ أَنْتَ لِن فِى كُلَّ آَمْرٍ نَزَلَ بِن ثِقَةً وَعُدَّةٌ
and You alone are my reliance and support in every matter that afflicts me.
na Wewe peke yako ndiye tegemeo langu na msaada wangu katika kila jambo linalonisibu.
كَمْ مِنْ كَزْبِ يَضْعِفُ عَنْهُ الْفُؤَادُ
Too many are the agonies, which the heart is too weak to
Mengi sana ni mateso, ambayo moyo ni dhaifu sana
وَ تَقِلَّ فِيْهِ الْجِيْلَةُ
undergo,
pitia,
وَ يَخْذُلَ عَنْهُ الْقَرِيْبُ وَ الْبَعِيْدُ
which all stratagems fail to manage,
ambayo mikakati yote inashindwa kuisimamia,
وَ يَشمَتُ بِهِ الْعَدُقُ
in which the friend and the stranger disappoint, at which the enemy gloat,
ambayo rafiki na mgeni hukatisha tamaa, ambayo adui hufurahi,
وَ تُعْيِيْنِى فِيْهِ الْأُمُوْرُ
and in which I lose any way out,
na ambayo ninapoteza njia yoyote ya kutoka,
اَنْزَلْتُهُ بِكَ وَ شَكَوْتُهُ اِلَيْكَ
but when I referred them to You and complained about them
lakini nilipowaelekeza Kwako na kuwalalamikia
رَاغِبًا فِيْهِ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
to You, abandoning all others than You,
Kwako na kuwaacha wengine kuliko Wewe.
فَفَرَجْتَهُ وَ كَشَفْتَهُ وَ كَفَيْتَنِيْهِ
You have relieved, removed, and saved me from it.
Umenituliza, umeniondoa, na umeniokoa nayo.
فَانْتَ وَلِيُّ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ
So, You are the patron of all graces,
Kwa hivyo, Wewe ndiye mlinzi wa neema zote,
وَ صَاحِبُ كُلَّ حَاجَةٍ
the One Who stands for all requests,
Yule anayesimamia maombi yote,
وَ مُنْتَهَى كُلِّ رَغْبَةٍ
and the utmost of all desires.
na upeo wa matamanio yote.
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَثِيْرًا
So, very much praise be to You
Kwa hivyo, sifa njema sana kwako
وَ لَكَ الْمَنَّ فَاضِلًا.
and abundant gratitude be to You.
na shukurani nyingi ziwe Kwako.
