Virtues, description, and recitation method of PRAYER OF IMAM MAHDI ON NIGHT OF FRIDAY (SHAB E as recorded in Shia traditions.
Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa DUA YA IMAM MAHDI USIKU WA IJUMAA (SHAB E kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَ اِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ.
You may now mention the one whom you anticipate to harm
Sasa unaweza kutaja yule unayetazamia kumdhuru
سُبْحَانَ رَبّىَ العَظِيْمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ.
you by name and the father's name (i.e. so-and-so the son of
wewe kwa jina na jina la baba (yaani fulani na fulani mwana wa
سُبْحَانَ رَبَّىَ الْاَغْلَى وَ بِحَمْدِهِ.
so-and-so) and beseech Almighty Allah to repel his harm and

اَللَهُمَّ اِنْ اَطَعْتُكَ فَالْمَحْمِدَةُ لَكَ

Then, you may prostrate yourself, submit your request, and beseech Almighty Allah earnestly and purely. Verily, if any

مِنْكَ الرَّوْحُ وَ مِنْكَ الفَرَجُ
believing man or woman offers this prayer and says this
mwamini mwanamume au mwanamke hutoa sala hii na kusema hivi
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ اَنْعَمَ وَ شَكَرَ
supplicatory prayer, the doors to the heavens will be opened
maombi ya dua, milango ya mbingu itafunguliwa
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ قَدَّرَ وَ غَفَرَ
before him/her so that his/her requests will be granted and
mbele yake ili maombi yake yakubaliwe na
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتُ عَصَّيْتُكَ
his/her prayer will be immediately responded, no matter
maombi yake yatajibiwa mara moja, haijalishi
فَاِنِّى قَدْ اَطَعْثُكَ فِي اَحَبِّ الْاَشيَاءِ اِلَيْكَ
what his/her prayer may be. This is one of the favors

وَ هُوَ الْإِيْمَانُ بِكَ
Almighty Allah has bestowed upon people and upon us."

لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ لَكَ وَلَدًا
The venerable son of Shaykh al-Yabrisi; namely, Radi al-Din
Mtoto mtukufu wa Shaykh al-Yabrisi; yaani, Radi al-Din
وَ لَمْ اَدْعُ لَكَ شَرِيْكًا
Hasan ibn al-Fadl, has reported this prayer too in the book of
Hasan ibn al-Fadl, ameipokea sala hii pia katika kitabu cha
مَنًّا مَنْكَ بِهِ عَلَىَّ
Makarim al-Akhlaq with little difference in the supplicatory
Makarim al-Akhlaq akiwa na tofauti ndogo katika maombi
لَا مَنَّا مَّنَّى بِهِ عَلَيْكَ
prayer. In the prefatory statement, he has added the word
maombi. Katika taarifa ya utangulizi, ameongeza neno
وَقَدْ عَصَيْتُكَ يَآَ اِلْهِنْ
qad (surely) after kuntu (have been), the word ahadan
qad (hakika) baada ya kuntu (wamekuwa), neno ahadan
عَلَى غَيْرِ وَجْهِ الْمُكَابَرَةِ
(anyone) after the word akhafa (fear), and the word as'aluka
(mtu yeyote) baada ya neno akhafa (woga), na neno as'aluka
وَ لَا الْخُرُوْجِ عَنْ عُبُوْدِيَّتِكَ
(I beseech You) after the word fir'awna (Pharaoh). However,
(Nakuomba) baada ya neno fir'awna (Firauni). Hata hivyo,
وَلَا الْجُحُوْدِ لِرُبُوْبِيَّتِكَ
the other words of the supplicatory prayer are the same.
maneno mengine ya sala ya dua ni sawa.
وَلِكِنْ اَطَعْتُ هَوَاىَ
You do we serve and You do we beseech for help.
Wewe tunakutumikia na Wewe tunakuomba msaada.
وَ أَزَلَّنِى الشَّيْطَانُ
All glory be to Allah, the All-great and with the Praising of
Ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu na sifa njema zote
فَلَكَ الْحُجَةُ عَلَىَّ وَ الْبَيَانُ
Him.
Yeye.
فَاِنْ تُعَذَّبْنِى فَبِذْنُوْبِىْ
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High and with the Praising of
Ametakasika Mola wangu Mlezi aliye juu kabisa na sifa njema
غَيْرُ ظَالِمِ لِىْ
Him.
Yeye.
وَ اِنْ تَغْفِزْلِىٰ وَ تَرْحَمْنِىْ
You may now mention the one whom you anticipate to harm

فِاِنْكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيْمٌ.
you by name and the father's name (i.e. so-and-so the son of

يَا كَرِيْمُ، يَا كَرِيْمُ.
so-and-so) and beseech Almighty Allah to repel his harm and

يَا أمِنًا مَنْ كُلِّ شَيْى
save from his evils. Most certainly, Almighty Allah will do, if

اَسْئَلُكَ بِامْنِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْى
Then, you may prostrate yourself, submit your request, and
Basi, unaweza kusujudu, kuwasilisha ombi lako, na
ء وَ خَوْفِ كُلِّ شَيْى ءِ مِنْكَ
beseech Almighty Allah earnestly and purely. Verily, if any

اَنْ تُصَلَّىَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَال مُحَمَّدٍ

وَ اَنْ تُغْطِيَنِى آَمَانًا لِنَفْسِى وَ آَهْلِىْ
supplicatory prayer, the doors to the heavens will be opened
maombi ya dua, milango ya mbingu itafunguliwa
وَ مَالِيْ وَ وَلدِىْ
before him/her so that his/her requests will be granted and his/her prayer will be immediately responded, no matter what his/her prayer may be. This is one of the favors
mbele yake ili maombi yake yakubaliwe na maombi yake yajibiwe mara moja, bila kujali maombi yake ni ya namna gani. Hii ni moja ya neema
وَ سَآئِرِ مَا اَنْعَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَىَّ
Almighty Allah has bestowed upon people and upon us."
Mwenyezi Mungu ametupa juu ya watu na sisi."
حَثّى لَاآَخَافَ وَ لَا آَخذَرَ مِنْ شَيْى ءِ اَبَدًا
The venerable son of Shaykh al-Yabrisi, namely, Radi al-Din Hasan ibn al-Fadl, has reported this prayer too in the book of
Mtoto mtukufu wa Shaykh al-Yabrisi, yaani, Radi al-Din Hasan ibn al-Fadl, amesimulia sala hii pia katika kitabu cha
إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْيءِ قَدِيْرٌ
Makarim al-Akhlaq with little difference in the supplicatory
Makarim al-Akhlaq akiwa na tofauti ndogo katika maombi
وَ حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ

يَا كَافِىَ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ نُمْرُوْدَ

وَ يَا كَافِىَ مُؤْسى فِرْعَوْنَ
(anyone) after the word akhafa (fear), and the word as'aluka
(mtu yeyote) baada ya neno akhafa (woga), na neno as'aluka
اَسْئَلُكَ آَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَألِ مُحَمَدٍ
(I beseech You) after the word fir'awna (Pharaoh). However,
(Nakuomba) baada ya neno fir'awna (Firauni). Hata hivyo,
وَ آَنْ تَكُفِيَنِن شَرَّ فَلَانُ بْنُ فْلَانِ.
the other words of the supplicatory prayer are the same.
