بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ

Commenting, the Holy Prophet (s) added, I "Thus did (Prophet) Abraham use to repel evil from Ishmael and Isaac."

وَ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ

In the Name of Allah, in Allah (I trust), and on Allah do l rely.

اِنَّهُ مَنْ يَتَوَكِّلُ عَلَى اللهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ

Verily, whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him.

اِنَّ اللهَ بَالِغُ اَمْرِهِ

Surely, Allah attains His purpose.

قَدْ جَعَلَ اللهُ لِكُلّ شَيْئٍ قَدْرًا

Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.

اَللهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِى فِي كَنّفِكَ وَ فِى جَوَارِكَ

O Allah, (please) put me under Your shade and in Your vicinity

وَاجْعَلَنِن فِى آَمَانِكَ وَ فِى مَنْعِكَ.

and put me under Your security and in Your shield.

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنِس وَحْشَتِى

O Allah, (please) entertain my loneliness,

وَ أمِنْ رَوْعَتِىْ

secure my dread,

وَ آَعِنَّى عَلْى وَحْدَتِى.

and help me against my being alone.

أَعِيْذُ كُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ الثَّامَّةِ

I pray for Your protection the perfect Words of Allah

وَاَسْمَآئِهِ الْحُسْنى كُلَّهَا عَامَةً

and all of His excellent names totally

مِنْ شَرِّ السَّامَّةِ وَالْهَامَةِ

against the evil of poisonous things and the pestles,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَةٍ

against the evil of all evil eyes,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ.

and against the evil of the envious when he envies. Commenting, the Holy Prophet (s) added, "Thus did (Prophet) Abraham use to repel evil from Ishmael and Isaac."
