دعاء الامام الكاظم (ع) لدرء الشر الثامن عشر: هذا دعاء الامام موسى بن جعفر الكاظم لدفع الشر:

SWALAH OF IMAM KAZIM (A) TO WARD OF EVIL Eighteenth: This is Imam Musa ibn Ja'far al-Kazim's evil- averting prayer:

تَوَكِّلْتُ عَلَى الْحَىِّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوْتُ

I put my trust in the living that does not die

وَتَحَصَّنْتُ بِذِى الْعِزَّةِ وَالْجَبَرُوْتِ

And I fortified myself with pride and might.

وَاسْتَعَنْتُ بِذِي الْكِبْرِيَآءِ وَالْمَلَكُوْتِ

And I sought help from the One of Pride and the Kingdom

مَوْلَاىَ اسْتَسْلَمْتُ إِلَيْكَ فَلَا تُسْلِمْنِى

My lord, I surrender to you, so do not surrender to me.

وَ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَيْكَ فَلَا تَخْذُلْنِىْ

And I put my trust in you, so do not let me down.

وَ لَجَأْتُ اِلَى ظِلَّكَ الْبَسِيْطِ فَلَا تَطْرَخْنِى

I resorted to your simple shadow, so do not push me away.

اَنْتَ الْمَطْلَبُ وَ اِلَيْكَ الْمَهْرَبُ

You are what is sought and here is the escape.

تَعْلَمُ مَا أَخْفِى وَ مَآ أُعْلِنُ

You know what is hidden and what is revealed

وَ تَعْلَمُ خَآئِنَةَ الاَعْيُنِ وَ مَا تُخْفِى الصُّدُوْرُ

And you know what the eyes are deceitful and what the breasts hide

فَامْسِكُ عَنَّى اللَّهُمَّ آَيْدِى الظَّالِمِيْنَ

So hold back from me, O God, the hands of the oppressors.

مِنَ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ

From the jinn and mankind together

وَاشفِنِىْ وَ عَافِنِىْ

And heal me and make me well

يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Instructions

أدعو الله بالحصانة من رب العزة والجبروت.

I pray the immunity of the Lord of almightiness and omnipotence.
