تقرأ في كل ركعة سورة الفاتحة (رقم 1) مرة واحدة وتكرر سورة التوحيد (رقم 112) خمسين مرة. وبعد الانتهاء أقول سلسلة الإمام علي عليه السلام:

each unit, recite Surah al-Faatehah (No. 1) once and repeat Surah al-Tawheed (No. 112) fifty times. On accomplishment, say the following litany of Imam Ali, peace be upon him:

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا تَبِيْدُ مَعَالِمُهُ

Glory be to Him whose signs do not disappear

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا تَنْقُصُ خَزَآئِنُهُ

Glory be to Him whose treasures do not diminish

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا اضْمِخْلَالَ لِفَخْرِهِ

Glory be to Him whose pride has no diminishment

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَنْفَدُ مَا عِنْدَهُ

Glory be to Him who never runs out of what He has.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا انْقِطَاعَ لِمُدَّتِهِ

Glory be to Him whose duration has no cessation.

سُنْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يُشَارِكُ اَحَدًا فِي أمْرِهِ

Sinhan is the one who does not share his affairs with anyone.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا اِلْهَ غَيْرُهُ

Glory be to Him there is no god but Him

Instructions

وبعد ذلك قل الدعاء التالي:

Thereafter, say the following supplicatory prayer:

يَا مَنْ عَفَا عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَ لَمْ يُجَازِ بِهَا

O He who pardons evil deeds and does not recompense for them.

اِرْحَمْ عَبْدَكَ يَا اَللهُ

Have mercy on your servant, O God

نَفْسِيْ نَفْسِيْ

Myself, myself

أَنَا عَبْدُكَ يَا سَيِّدَاهُ

I am your servant, master

آَنَا عَبْدُكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ آَيَا رَبَّاهُ،

I am your servant in your hands, O Lord,

اِلْهِي بِكَيْنُوْنَتِكَ يَا آَمَلَاهُ

God, with your being, my hope

يَا رَحْمَانَاهُ يَا غِيَا ثَاهُ

O Most Merciful, O Ghia Thah

عَبْدُكَ عَبْدُكَ لَا حِيْلَةَ لَهُ

Your servant, your servant, has no help.

يَا مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَتَاهُ

O the utmost of his desires

يَا مُجْرِيَ الدَّمِ فِي عُرُوْقِي [عَبْدُكَ]

Oh, the blood flowing through my veins [your servant]

يَا سَيِّدَاهُ يَا مَالِكَاهُ

O master, O owner

آَيَا هُوَ اَيَا هُوَ يَا رَبَّاهُ

Oh my God, my Lord

عَبْدُكَ عَبْدُكَ

Your servant is your servant

لَا جِيْلَةَ لِن وَ لَا غِنى بِيْ عَنْ نَفْسِيْ

There is no generation for me and I cannot do without myself.

وَ لَا اَسْتَطِيْعُ لَهَا ضَرًّا وَ لَا نَفْعًا

And I can do it neither harm nor benefit.

وَ لَا آَجِدُ مَنْ أُصَانِعَهُ

And I can't find anyone to make it

تَقَطَعَتْ اَسْبَابُ الْخَدَائِعِ عَنَّي

The reasons for deception have been cut off from me.

وَ اضْمَحَلَّ كُلُّ مَظْنُوْنٍ عَنِّي

And all doubts about me vanished

اَفرَدَنِي الدَّهْرُ إِلَيْكَ

Time has brought me to you

فَقُمْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ هَذَا الْمَقَامَ

So I stood before you in this position

يَا اِلْهِي بِعِلْمِكَ كَانَ هَذَا كُلَّهُ

Oh my God, with your knowledge, all this happened.

فَكَيْفَ أَنْتَ صَانِعْ بِيْ

So how do you deal with me?

وَ لَيْتَ شِعْرِيْ كَيْفَ تَقُوْلَ لِدُعَائِي

I wish I knew how you would say to my prayers

اَتَقُوْلُ نَعَمْ اَمْ تَقُوْلُ لَا،

Do you say yes or do you say no?

فَاِنْ قُلْتَ لَا فَيَا وَيْلِيْ يَا وَيْلِيْ يَا وَيْلِيْ

If you say no, then woe to me, oh woe, oh woe

يَا عَوْلِيْ يَا عَوْلِيْ يَا عَوْلِيْ

Oh my family, oh my family, oh my family

يَا شِقْوَتِي يَا شِقَوَتِيْ يَا شِقْوَتِيْ

Oh my misery, oh my misery, oh my misery

يَا ذُلَيْ يَا ذُلَيْ يَا ذُلَّيْ

Oh my, oh my, oh my

اِلَى مَنْ وَ مِمَّنْ

To whom and from whom

أَوْ عِنْدَ مَنْ اَوْ كَيْفَ اَوْ مَا ذَا

or with whom or how or what

آَوْ إِلَى آَيَّ شَيْءِ اَلْجَأْ

Or to what resort

وَ مَنْ اَرْجُوْ

And whom do I hope for?

وَ مَنْ يَجُوْدُ عَلَيَّ بِفَضْلِهِ حِيْنَ تَزْفُضُنِيْ

And who is generous to me with His grace when you make me angry?

يَا وَاسِعَ المَغْفِرَةِ

O Most Forgiving

وَ اِنْ قُلْتَ نَعَمْ كَمَا هُوَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ وَ الرَّجَآءُ لَكَ

And if you say yes, as is your belief and hope.

فَطُوْبُى لِي آَنَا السَّعِيْدُ وَ اَنَا الْمَسْعُوْدُ

So blessed am I, I am happy and I am Masoud.

فَطُوْبُى لِيْ وَ آَنَا الْمَرْحُوْمُ،

So blessed am I, the deceased.

يَا مُتَرَحّمُ يَا مُتَرَنِّفُ

Oh, merciful, oh merciful

يَا مُتَعَطِّفُ يَا مُتَجَبَّرُ [مُتَحَنَّنُ]

O compassionate, O arrogant [compassionate]

يَا مُتَمَلَّك يَا مُقْسِطُ

O possessor, O just one

لَا عَمَلَ لِي اَبْلُغُ بِهِ نَجَاحَ حَاجَتِيْ

I have no work by which I can achieve the success of my need.

أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَهُ فِي مَكْنُوْنِ غَيْبِكَ

I ask you in your name which you have placed in the secret place of your absence.

وَ اسْتَقَرَّ عِنْدَكَ فَلَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْكَ إِلَى شَيْءٍ سِوَاكَ

And he remains with you and does not leave you for anything other than you.

أَسْاَلَكَ بِهِ وَ بِكَ وَ بِهِ فَانَّهُ اَجَلّ وَ اشْرَفُ اَسْمَآئِكَ

I ask you by it and by you and by it, for it is the most exalted and honorable of your names.

لَا شَيْءً لِي غَيْرُ هَذَا

I have nothing but this

وَ لَا اَحَدَ اَعْوَدُ عَلَيَّ مِنْكَ

And there is no one more loyal to me than you

يَا كَيْنُوْنُ يَا مُكَوِّنْ

O Being, O Creator

يَا مَنْ عَرَّفْنِيْ نَفْسَهُ

O He who made Himself known to Me

يَا مَنْ امَرَنِي بِطَاعَتِهِ

O He who commanded me to obey Him

يَا مَنْ نَهَانِي عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِهِ

O He who forbade me from disobeying Him

وَ يَا مَدْعُوُّ يَا مَسْئُوْلَ

O one who is invited or one who is asked

يَا مَطْلَوْبًا اِلَيْهِ

He is sought after

رَفَضْتُ وَصِيَّتَكَ الَّتِي اَوْصَيْتَنِي وَ لَمْ أُطِغْكَ

I rejected the commandment you gave me, and I did not disobey you.

وَلَوْ آَطَفتُكَ فِيْمَا آَمَرْتَنِي لَكَفَيْتَنِي مَا قُمْتُ اِلَيْكَ فِيْهِ

If I were to follow you in what you commanded me, you would have sufficed me with what I asked you to do.

وَ آَنَا مَعَ مَغْصِيَّتِن لَكَ رَاجٍ،

And I, with our adversity, hope for you.

فَلَا تَحْلُ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَ مَا رَجَوْتُ

Do not come between me and what I hoped for.

يَا مُتَرَحَمًا لِي اَعِذْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِيْ

O One who has mercy on me, seek refuge with me from before me and from behind me.

وَ مِنْ فَوْقِي وَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

And from above me and from below me

وَ مِنْ كُلِّ جِهَاتِ الْإِحَاطَةِ بِيْ

And from all sides surrounding me

اللهُمَّ بِمُحَمَّدٍ سَيَّدِيْ

Oh God, through Muhammad, my master

وَ بِعَلِيِّ وَلِيِّيْ

And Ali is my ally

وَ بِالاَئْمَةِ الرَّاشِدِيْنَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ

And by the Rightly Guided Imams, peace be upon them

اِجْعَل عَلَيْنَا صَلَوَاتِكَ وَ رَأفَتَكَ وَ رَحْمَتَكَ

Grant upon us Your blessings, Your compassion, and Your mercy.

وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ رزْقِكَ

And expand upon us from Your provision

وَ اقْضٍ عَنَا الدَّيْنَ وَ جَمِيْعَ حَوَائِجِنَا

And pay off our debt and all our needs.

يَا اَللهُ يَا اَللهُ يَا اَللهُ

Oh God, oh God, oh God

إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءِ قَدِيْرٌ.

Indeed, You have power over all things.

ثم أضاف الإمام (ع): من صلى هذه الصلاة و

The Imam (a.s.) then added: One who offers this prayer and

ويقول بهذا الدعاء تغفر له ذنوبه كلها.

says this supplication will have all his sins forgiven.

أجر من صلى هذه الصلاة يوم الجمعة. بصورة مماثلة،

reward for those who offer this prayer on Fridays. Similarly,

ومن دعا بعد ذلك بالدعاء التالي

one who says the following supplicatory prayer after that

أعطي أجر من قرأ القرآن الكريم

be given the reward of him who recites the holy Qur'an

اَللّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ الْعَرَبِيِّ وَ اَلِهِ.

O God, bless the Arab Prophet and his family.

سبحان الذي لا إله إلا هو ثم ادع بعد ذلك بالدعاء التالي:

Glory be to Him save Whom there is no god Thereafter, say the following supplicatory prayer:

إذن كيف ستتعامل معي؟ لو كنت أعلم كيف تستغني عن صلاتي؟ هل ستقول "نعم" أم "لا"؟ إذا قلت لا، فأنا مدمرة! لقد دمرت! لقد دمرت!

So, how would You deal with me? If I but knew how would You dispense with my prayer? Would You say, 'Yes' or 'No'? If You say 'No, then l am ruined! I am ruined! I am ruined!

Instructions

ولكن إذا قلت: نعم، كما أتوقع منك أن تقول وكما أريد منك، فالفرح لي، أنا ناجح، أنا سعيد؛ عندها يكون الفرح لي، وسوف أنال رحمتك.

But if You say 'Yes,as lexpect You to say and as l desire from You, then joy is for me, l am successful, l am happy; then joy is for me, I will receive (Your) mercy.

اللهم باسم محمد سيدي وباسم علي سيدي وبأسماء الائمة الراشدين عليهم السلام.

O Allah, [l beseech You] in the name of Muhammad, my master, and lin the name ofl 'Ali, my chief, and lin the names ofl the orthodox Imams (leaders), peace be upon them,

وقد وردت روايات كثيرة في الأجر الجزيل لمن صلى هذه الصلاة يوم الجمعة. وكذلك من دعا بعد هذه الصلاة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه وما تأخر، كان له أجر من قرأ القرآن الكريم.

Numerous are the narrations that have mentioned splendid reward for those who offer this prayer on Fridays. Similarly, one who says the following supplicatory prayer after that prayer will have all his previous and coming sins forgiven, will be given the reward of him who recites the holy Qur'an

اللهم صل على نبي العرب وعلى آله.

O Allah, send blessings to the Arab Prophet and on his Household.
