Virtues, description, and recitation method of TAWEEZ AGAINST TOOTHACHE as recorded in Shia traditions.
Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa TAWEEZ DHIDI YA MAUMIVU YA JINO kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
وَ تَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً
Wa tarā al-jibāla taḥsabuhā jāmidatan
And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid,
Na unaona milima, unafikiri ni imara,
وَ هِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ
Wa hiā tamurru marra as-saḥābi
and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud-
nazo zitapita kama kupita kwa wingu.
صُنْعَ اللّهِ الَّذِيْ آَثْقَنَ كُلّ شَيْئ
Ṣunʿa Allāhi adh-dhī āthqana kull shayʾ
the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly.
kazi ya mikono ya Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ametengeneza kila kitu kikamilifu.
إِنَّهُ خَبِيْرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ.
ʾinnahu khabīrun bimā tafʿalūna.
Surely, He is Aware of what you do.
Hakika Yeye anazo khabari za mnayo yatenda.
بِسْمِ اللَهِ
Bismi Allāhi
In the Name of Allah.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu.
وَالشَّافِى اَلله
Wālsshāfiā Allāh
The (true) Healer is Allah.
Mponyaji (wa kweli) ni Mwenyezi Mungu.
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ
Wa lā ḥawla walā quwwata al-ā biāllhi
There is neither might nor power save with Allah,
Hakuna nguvu wala uwezo ila kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْمِ.
Al-ʿaliā al-ʿaẓīmi.
the Most High and All-great
Aliye Juu na Mkuu
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ.
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi.
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
وَ لَهُ مَا سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ
Wa lahu mā sakana fī al-layli wālnnahāri
And to Him belongs whatever dwells in the night and the day
Na ni vyake Yeye tu vikaao usiku na mchana
وَ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ العَلِيْمُ
Wa huwa as-samīʿu al-ʿalīmu
and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Naye ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kujua.
قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُوْنِىٰ بَرْدًا
Qulnā yā nāru kūniā bardan
We said: O fire! Be a comfort and peace to Abraham.
Tukasema: Ewe moto! Kuwa faraja na amani kwa Ibrahimu.
وَ سَلَامًا عَلَى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ
Wa salāman ʿalā ibrāhīma
وَ آَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْاَخْسَرِيْنَ
Wa ārādūā bihi kaydan fajaʿalnāhumu al-ākhsarīna
They desired a war on him but We made them the greatest losers.
Wakamtakia vita, lakini tukawafanya wao ndio walio khasiri zaidi.
نُوْدِىَ آَنْ بُوْرِكَ مَنْ فِى النَّارِ وَ مَنْ حَوْلَهَا
Nūdiā ān būrika man fiā an-nāri wa man ḥawlahā
Blessed is Whoever is in the fire and whatever is about it and glory be to Allah,
Ametukuka aliyemo Motoni na vilivyomo ndani yake, na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu.
وَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.
Wa subḥāna Allāhi rabba al-ʿālamīna.
the Lord of the worlds.
Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
اَللّهُمَّ يَا كَافِيًا مِنْ كُلّ شَيْئ
Allāhumma yā kāfiyan min kull shayʾ
O Allah, O He Who saves from all things
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, Ewe Mwenye kuokoa na kila kitu
وَ لَا يَكْفِى مِثْكَ شَيْئٌ
Wa lā yakfiā mithka shayʾun
while nothing can save from You,
wakati hakuna kinachoweza kuokoa kutoka Kwako,
اِكْفِ عَبْدَكَ وَابْنَ آَمَتِكَ
Ikfi ʿabdaka wābna āmatika
(please) save Your servant and the son of Your she-servant
(Tafadhali) umwokoe mja wako na mtoto wa mja wako
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يُخَافُ وَ يُخذَرُ
Min sharri mā yukhāfu wa yukhdharu
from the evil of what he fears and anticipates
kutokana na ubaya wa yale anayoyaogopa na kuyatarajia
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَجَعِ الَّذِي يَشْكُوْهُ اِلَيْكَ.
Wa min sharri al-wajaʿi adh-dhī yashkūhu al-yka.
and from the evil of the ache about which he is complaining to You
na kutokana na ubaya wa maumivu anayokulalamikia
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ
Bismi Allāhi wa biāllhi
In the Name of Allah (I begin) and in Allah (l trust).
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu (Naanza) na kwa Mwenyezi Mungu (ninategemea).
مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ
Muḥammadun rasūla Allāhi
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
Muhammad ni mjumbe wa Mwenyezi Mungu
وَ اِبْرَاهِيْمُ خَلِيْلَ اللهِ
Wa ibrāhīmu khalīla Allāhi
and Abraham is the friend of Allah. Calm down in the name of the One to Whom whatsoever is in
na Ibrahim ni rafiki wa Mwenyezi Mungu. Tulia kwa jina la Yule Ambaye yamo ndani yake
أسكُنْ بِالَذِيْ سَكَنَ لَهُ مَا فِى اللّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ بِآءِذْنِهِ
ʾskun biāladhī sakana lahu mā fiā al-lyli wa an-nahāri biʾāʾidhnihi
the night and day rests by His permission
usiku na mchana hutulia kwa idhini yake
وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْئٍ قَدِيْرٌ.
Wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun.
and He has power over all things.
na Yeye ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْهِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīhi
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
اَلْعَجَبُ كُلَّ الْعَجَبِ
Al-ʿajabu kulla al-ʿajabi
How wonderful! It is the wonder of wonders
Jinsi ya ajabu! Ni maajabu ya maajabu
دُوْدَةٌ تَكُوْنُ فِى الْفَمِ
Dūdatun takūnu fiā al-fami
that a worm in the mouth
kwamba mdudu mdomoni
تَأْكُلُ الْعَظْمَ
Taʾkulu al-ʿaẓma
eats the bone
anakula mfupa
وَ تُنْزِلَ الدَّمَ
Wa tunzila ad-dama
and causes blood to come out.
na kusababisha damu kutoka.
انَا الرَّاقِى
Anā ar-rāqiā
luse this amulet
penda hirizi hii
وَ اللهُ الشَّافِى وَ الْكَافِى
Wa Allāhu ash-shāfiā wa al-kāfiā
but Allah is the healer and the savior.
lakini Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mponyaji na Mwokozi.
لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اللَهُ
Lā al-ha al-ā Allāhu
There is no god save Allah.
Hapana mungu ila Mwenyezi Mungu.
وَالْحَمْدُ للهِّ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
Wālḥamdu lillāhi rabbi al-ʿālamīna
All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
وَ اِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَادَّارَ أتُمْ فِيْهَا
Wa idh qataltum nafsan fāddāra ʾtum fīhā
"And when you killed a man, then you disagreed with respect to that,
"Na ulipomuua mtu, basi mlikhitalifiana juu ya hilo.
وَاللهُ مُخْرِجْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْتُمُوْنَ.
Wāllhu mukhrij mā kuntum taktumūna.
and Allah was to bring forth that which you were going to hide.
na Mwenyezi Mungu alikuwa atayatoa mliyo kuwa mkiyaficha.
فَقُلَنَا اضْرِبُوْهُ بِبَعْضِهَا
Faqulanā aḍribūhu bibaʿḍihā
So, We said: Strike the dead body with part of the sacrificed
Basi Tukasema: Piga maiti kwa sehemu ya sadaka
كَذَالِكَ يُخبِيْ
Kadhālika yukhbī
COW.
NG'OMBE.
اللهُ الْمَوْثَي
Allāhu al-mawthay
Thus Allah brings the dead to life
Namna hivi Mwenyezi Mungu huwahuisha wafu
وَيُرِيْكُمْ أَيَاتِهِ لَعَلَكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ.
Wayurīkum ʾayātihi laʿalakum taʿqilūna.
and He shows you His signs so that you may understand." The previous method may be repeated seven times.
na anakuonyesheni Ishara zake ili mpate kufahamu. Njia ya awali inaweza kurudiwa mara saba.
