Virtues, description, and recitation method of TAWEEZ AGAINST COLITIS as recorded in Shia traditions.
Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa TAWEEZ DHIDI YA COLITIS kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
اَعُوْذُ بِوَجِهِ اللهِ الْعَظِيْمِ
Aʿūdhu biwajihi Allāhi al-ʿaẓīmi
Then, the sheet may be washed with rainwater and drunk (1) in the beginning of the day before eating anything and (2) before going to sleep. This is blessed and useful way. It is narrated that a man complained to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) about colitis from which his brother had suffered. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) instructed, "Tell your brother to drink a mixture of honey and hot water." The next day, the man returned to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and informed that the prescription was not useful. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) commented, "Allah is truthful, but your brother's colon is not. Go back, give him the same drink, and recite on it Surah al-Faatehah seven times as prayer for God's protection." When the man left, the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said to Imam Ali(a.s.), "The brother of this man is hypocrite; therefore, the drink was not effective with him." I pray the protection of the Face of the Allgreat Allah,
Kisha, karatasi hiyo inaweza kuoshwa kwa maji ya mvua na kunywewa (1) mwanzoni mwa siku kabla ya kula chochote na (2) kabla ya kulala. Hii ni njia yenye baraka na yenye manufaa. Imesimuliwa kwamba mtu mmoja alimlalamikia Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) kuhusu ugonjwa wa colitis ambao kaka yake alikuwa ameugua. Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) aliagiza, "Mwambie ndugu yako anywe mchanganyiko wa asali na maji ya moto." Siku iliyofuata, mtu huyo alirudi kwa Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) na akajulisha kwamba maagizo hayakuwa na manufaa. Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) alisema, "Mwenyezi Mungu ni mkweli, lakini koloni la ndugu yako sio. Rudi, mpe kinywaji kile kile, na usome juu yake Surah al-Faatehah mara saba kama maombi ya ulinzi wa Mungu." Mtu huyo alipoondoka, Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) alimwambia Imam Ali (a.s.), "Ndugu yake mtu huyu ni mnafiki; kwa hiyo, kinywaji hakikuwa na ufanisi kwake." Naomba ulinzi wa Uso wa Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu,
and His omnipotence against which nothing can stop
na uweza Wake ambao hakuna kinachoweza kuzuia dhidi yake
مِنْ شَرِّ هَذَا الْوَجَع
Min sharri hadhā al-wajaʿ
against the evil of this pain,
dhidi ya ubaya wa maumivu haya,
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهِ
Wa min sharri mā fīhi
the evil of whatever is in it,
ubaya wa chochote kilichomo ndani yake.
وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اَجِدُ مِنْهُ.
Wa min sharri mā ajidu minhu.

na ubaya wa kile ninachohisi kwa sababu yake. Kisha, karatasi hiyo inaweza kuoshwa kwa maji ya mvua na kunywewa (1) mwanzoni mwa siku kabla ya kula chochote na (2) kabla ya kulala. Hii ni njia yenye baraka na yenye manufaa. Imesimuliwa kwamba mtu mmoja alimlalamikia Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) kuhusu ugonjwa wa colitis ambao kaka yake alikuwa ameugua. Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) aliagiza, "Mwambie ndugu yako anywe mchanganyiko wa asali na maji ya moto." Siku iliyofuata, mtu huyo alirudi kwa Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) na akajulisha kwamba maagizo hayakuwa na manufaa. Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) alisema, "Mwenyezi Mungu ni mkweli, lakini koloni la ndugu yako sio. Rudi, mpe kinywaji kile kile, na usome juu yake Surah al-Faatehah mara saba kama maombi ya ulinzi wa Mungu." Wakati mtu huyo alipoondoka, Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) alimwambia lmam Ali (a.s.), "Ndugu wa mtu huyu ni mnafiki; kwa hiyo, kinywaji hakikuwa na ufanisi kwake."
