The following prayers and recommended devotional acts have been quoted from Shaykh al-Tusi's famous book of Misbah al-Mutahajjid and other reference books. After you say the Taslim statement - the closing part of the ritual prayers - and accomplish your prayer, repeat the Takbir statement (i.e. Allahuakbar, Allah is the Greatest) three times while raising your hands to the level of your ears and then say:
Lā ʾilha al-ā Allāhu
There is no god save Allah
Hakuna mungu isipokuwa Mwenyezi Mungu
Al-hā wājidan
One and Only God
Mungu Mmoja wa Pekee
Wa nakhnu lahu muslimūna
and we are submissive to Him.
na sisi ni wenye kunyenyekea Kwake.
Lā al-ha ʾillā Allāhu
There is no god save Allah
Hakuna mungu isipokuwa Mwenyezi Mungu
Wa lā naʿbudu al-ā ʾiyyāhu
and we worship none save Him,
na hatuabudu yeyote isipokuwa Yeye,
Mukhliṣīna lahu ad-dīna
making our devotion sincere as in His sight,
Wa law kariha al-mushrikūna
even though the polytheists may detest it.
ijapokuwa washirikina wanaweza kuchukia.
Lā ʾilha al-ā Allāhu
There is no god save Allah;
Hakuna mungu isipokuwa Mwenyezi Mungu;
Rabbunā wa rabbu ʾabʾāʾinā al-āwalīna
(He is) Our Lord and the Lord of our fathers of old.
Lā ʾilha ʾillā Allāhu
There is no god save Allah;
Hakuna mungu isipokuwa Mwenyezi Mungu;
Waḥdahu waḥdahu waḥdahu
Alone, alone, alone.
Pekee, pekee, pekee.
ʾanjaza waʿdahu
He has truly fulfilled His promise,
Yeye ametimiza kweli ahadi Yake,
Wa naṣara ʿabdahu
granted His servant victory,
amempa mja Wake ushindi,
Wa ʾaʿazza jundahu
made powerful His soldiers,
amewapa nguvu askari Wake,
Wa hazama al-āḥzāba waḥdahu
and defeated the parties alone.
na amewashinda maadui peke Yake.
Falahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamdu
So, sovereignty be His and praise be His.
Yukhyin wa yumītu
He grants life and causes (others) to die,
Yeye hutoa uhai na husababisha vifo,
Wa yumītu wa yuḥyin
and (then) causes to die and raises from the dead;
na husababisha vifo na kufufuliwa kutoka kwa wafu;
Wa huwa ḥā lā yamūtu
while He is eternally ever-living and He never dies.
