Supplication Of Tuesday as recorded in authentic Shia supplication manuals and traditions of the Holy Infallibles ('a).
Supplication Of Tuesday kama ilivyonukuliwa katika vitabu sahihi vya dua na mapokezi ya Maimamu Watakatifu ('a).
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi
All praise is due to Allah.
Sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu.
وَالْحَمْدُ حَقُّهٗ كَمَا يَسْتَحِقُّهٗ
Wālḥamdu ḥaqquh kamā yastaḥiqquh
And praise as He rightfully deserves.
Na sifa kama Anavyostahiki.
حَمْدًا كَثِيْرًا
Ḥamdan kathīran
Abundant praise.
Sifa nyingi mno.
وَّ اَعُوْذُ بِهٖ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِىْ
Wwa aʿūdhu bih min sharri nafsiā
And I seek refuge in Him from the evil of my soul.
Na najikinga Kwake na shari ya nafsi yangu.
اِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَاَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوۤءِ اِلَّا مَارَحِمَ رَبِّىْ
Inna an-nafsa lāmmāratun biālssūʾi al-ā māraḥima rabbiā
Surely the soul commands to evil, except the one upon whom my Lord has mercy.
Hakika nafsi huamrisha uovu, isipokuwa ile ambayo Mola wangu ameirehemu.
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِهٖ مِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ الَّذِىْ يَزِيْدُنِىْ ذَنْبًا اِلٰى ذَنْبِىْ
Wa aʿūdhu bih min sharri ash-shayṭāni adh-dhiā yazīduniā dhanban al-ā dhanbiā
And I seek refuge in Him from the evil of Satan who increases my sin upon sin.
Na najikinga Kwake na shari ya Shetani anayeongeza dhambi juu ya dhambi yangu.
وَ اَحْتَرِزُ بِهٖ مِنْ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ فَاجِرٍ
Wa aḥtarizu bih min kulli jabbārin fājirin
And I guard myself through Him from every tyrant and wicked one.
Na najilinda Kwake na kila dhalimu na muovu.
وَّ سُلْطَانٍ جَاۤئِرٍ
Wwa sulṭānin jāʾirin
And from every unjust ruler.
Na kutoka kwa kila mtawala dhalimu.
وَّعَدُوٍّ قَاهِرٍ
Wwaʿaduwwin qāhirin
And from every overpowering enemy.
Na kutoka kwa kila adui mwenye kushinda.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِىْ مِنْ جُنْدِكَ
Allāhumma ajʿalniā min jundika
O Allah, make me among Your soldiers.
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nifanye miongoni mwa majeshi Yako.
فَاِنَّ جُنْدَكَ هُمُ الْغَالِبُوْنَ
Fānna jundaka humu al-ghālibūna
For indeed, Your soldiers are the victorious ones.
Hakika majeshi Yako ndio washindi.
وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مِنْ حِزْبِكَ
Wājʿalniā min ḥizbika
And make me among Your party.
Na nifanye miongoni mwa chama Chako.
فَاِنَّ حِزْبَكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ
Fānna ḥizbaka humu al-mufliḥūna
For indeed, Your party are the successful ones.
Hakika chama Chako ndio waliofaulu.
وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مِنْ اَوْلِيَاۤئِكَ
Wājʿalniā min awliyāʾika
And make me among Your friends.
Na nifanye miongoni mwa marafiki Zako.
فَاِنَّ اَوْلِيَاۤئَكَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ
Fānna awliyāʾaka lā khawfun ʿalayhim wa lā hum yaḥzanūna
For indeed, Your friends shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Hakika marafiki Zako hawatakuwa na hofu wala hawatahuzunika.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَصْلِحْ لِىْ دِيْنِىْ
Allāhumma aṣliḥ liā dīniā
O Allah, set right for me my religion.
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nirekebishie dini yangu.
فَاِنَّهٗ عِصْمَةُ اَمْرِىْ
Fānnah ʿiṣmatu amriā
For indeed it is the safeguard of my affairs.
Hakika dini yangu ndio kinga ya mambo yangu.
وَ اَصْلِحْ لِىْ اٰخِرَتِىْ
Wa aṣliḥ liā akhiratiā
And set right for me my Hereafter.
Na nirekebishie Akhera yangu.
فَاِنَّهَا دَارُ مَقَرِّىْ
Fānnahā dāru maqarriā
For indeed it is my permanent abode.
Hakika Akhera ndiyo makao yangu ya kudumu.
وَ اِلَيْهَا مِنْ مُجَاوَرَةِ اللِّئَامِ مَفَرِّىْ
Wa al-yhā min mujāwarati al-liʾāmi mafarriā
And towards it is my escape from the company of the vile.
Na humo ndiko mafikio yangu kutoka urafiki wa waovu.
وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيٰوةَ زِيَادَةً لِىْ فِىْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ
Wājʿali al-ḥayāwta ziyādatan liā fiā kulli khayrin
And make life an increase for me in every good.
Na uifanye maisha yangu yawe ongezeko kwangu katika kila kheri.
وَالْوَفَاةَ رَاحَةً لِىْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
Wālwafāta rāḥatan liā min kulli sharrin
And make death a relief for me from every evil.
Na kifo kiwe faraja kwangu kutokana na kila shari.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalāā muḥammadin
O Allah, bless Muhammad,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, mshushie rehema Muhammad,
خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ
Khātami an-nabiyyīna
the Seal of the Prophets,
Muhuri wa Mitume,
وَ تَمَامِ عِدَّةِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
Wa tamāmi ʿiddati al-mursalīna
and the completion of the number of Messengers,
Na mkamilishaji wa idadi ya Mitume,
وَ عَلٰى اٰلِهِ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ
Wa ʿalāā al-hi aṭ-ṭayyibīna aṭ-ṭāhirīna
and upon his pure and purified household,
Na juu ya Ahlul-Bayt wake watoharifu na wasafi,
وَ اَصْحَابِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِيْنَ
Wa aṣḥābihi al-muntajabīna
and his chosen companions.
Na maswahaba wake waliochaguliwa.
وَ هَبْ لِىْ فِىْ الثُّلَثَاۤءِ ثَلَاثًا
Wa hab liā fiā ath-thulathāʾi thalāthan
And grant me on Tuesday three things:
Na unipe siku ya Jumanne mambo matatu:
لَا تَدَعْ لِىْ ذَنْبًا اِلَّا غَفَرْتَهٗ
Lā tadaʿ liā dhanban al-ā ghafartah
Do not leave for me any sin except that You forgive it,
Usibakishe dhambi yoyote kwangu ila umenisamehe,
وَ لَا غَمًّا اِلَّا اَذْهَبْتَهٗ
Wa lā ghamman al-ā adhhabtah
nor any grief except that You remove it,
Wala huzuni yoyote ila uiondoe,
وَلَا عَدُوًّا اِلَّا دَفَعْتَهُ
Walā ʿaduwwan al-ā dafaʿtahu
nor any enemy except that You repel him.
Wala adui yoyote ila umemzuia.
بِبِسْمِ اللهِ خَيْرِ الْاَسْمَاۤءِ
Bibismi Allāhi khayri al-āsmāʾi
By the name of Allah, the best of names,
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, bora ya majina.
بِسْمِ اللهِ رَبِّ الْاَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاۤءِ
Bismi Allāhi rabbi al-ārḍi wālssamāʾi
In the name of Allah, the Lord of the earth and the heavens,
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola wa ardhi na mbingu.
اَسْتَدْفِعُ كُلَّ مَكْرُوْهٍ اَوَّلُهٗ سَخَطُهٗ
Astadfiʿu kulla makrūhin awwaluh sakhaṭuh
I repel every disliked thing whose beginning is His wrath,
Ninakataa kila jambo baya ambalo mwanzo wake ni ghadhabu Yake.
وَ اَسْتَجْلِبُ كُلَّ مَحْبُوْبٍ اَوَّلُهٗ رِضَاهُ
Wa astajlibu kulla maḥbūbin awwaluh riḍāhu
And I seek to draw every beloved thing whose beginning is His pleasure.
Na naleta karibu kila jambo jema ambalo mwanzo wake ni radhi Zake.
فَاخْتِمْ لِىْ مِنْكَ بِالْغُفْرَانِ
Fākhtim liā minka biālghufrāni
So seal for me from You with forgiveness,
Basi nihitimishie kutoka Kwako kwa msamaha.
يَا وَلِىَّ الْاِحْسَانِ۔
Yā waliā al-āḥsāni
O Master of kindness.
Ewe Mola wa wema.
