Supplication Of Friday as recorded in authentic Shia supplication manuals and traditions of the Holy Infallibles ('a).
Supplication Of Friday kama ilivyonukuliwa katika vitabu sahihi vya dua na mapokezi ya Maimamu Watakatifu ('a).
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الْاَوَّلِ قَبْلَ الْاِنْشَاۤءِ وَالْاِحْيَاۤءِ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi al-āwali qabla al-ānshāʾi wālāḥyāʾi
All praise is due to Allah, the First before creation and life.
Sifa zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, wa Kwanza kabla ya uumbaji na uhai.
وَالْاٰخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنَاۤءِ الْاَشْيَاۤءِ
Wālākhiri baʿda fanāʾi al-āshyāʾi
And the Last after the extinction of all things.
Na wa Mwisho baada ya kupotea kwa viumbe vyote.
الْعَلِيْمِ الَّذِىْ لَا يَنْسٰى مَنْ ذَكـَرَهٗ
Al-ʿalīmi adh-dhiā lā yansāā man dhakarah
The All-Knowing, who does not forget the one who remembers Him.
Mwenye ujuzi wote, ambaye hamkosi anayemkumbuka.
وَ لَا يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكـَرَهٗ
Wa lā yanquṣu man shakarah
Nor deprives the one who thanks Him.
Wala hampunguzi anayemshukuru.
وَ لَا يَخِيْبُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ
Wa lā yakhību man daʿāhu
Nor disappoints the one who calls upon Him.
Wala hamkatishi tamaa anayemwomba.
وَ لَا يَقْطَعُ رَجَاۤءَ مَنْ رَجَاهُ
Wa lā yaqṭaʿu rajāʾa man rajāhu
Nor cuts off the hope of the one who hopes in Him.
Wala havunji matumaini ya anayemtumainia.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اُشْهِدُكَ
Allāhumma inniā ushhiduka
O Allah, I bear witness to You.
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, nakushuhudia Wewe.
وَ كَفٰى بِكَ شَهِيْدًا
Wa kafāā bika shahīdan
And You are sufficient as a witness.
Na Wewe unatosha kuwa shahidi.
وَّ اُشْهِدُ جَمِيْعَ مَلَاۤئِكَتِكَ
Wwa ushhidu jamīʿa malāʾikatika
And I call to witness all of Your angels.
Na nawafanya mashahidi malaika Wako wote.
وَ سُكَّانَ سَمٰوَاتِكَ
Wa sukkāna samāwātika
And the inhabitants of Your heavens.
Na wakaaji wa mbingu Zako.
وَ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ
Wa ḥamalata ʿarshika
And the bearers of Your Throne.
Na wabebaji wa Arshi Yako.
وَ مَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ اَنْبِيَاۤئِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ
Wa man baʿathta min anbiyāʾika wa rusulika
And those You sent from among Your prophets and messengers.
Na uliowatuma miongoni mwa manabii na mitume Wako.
وَ اَنْشَاْتَ مِنْ اَصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ
Wa anshāta min aṣnāfi khalqika
And those You created from the kinds of Your creation.
Na uliowaumba miongoni mwa aina za viumbe Vyako.
اَنِّىْ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللهُ
Anniā ashhadu annaka anta Allāhu
Indeed, I bear witness that You are Allah.
Hakika, nashuhudia kuwa Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu.
لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ
Lā al-ha al-ā anta waḥdaka
There is no god but You alone.
Hakuna mungu ila Wewe peke Yako.
لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ وَ لَا عَدِيْلَ
Lā sharīka laka wa lā ʿadīla
You have no partner and no equal.
Huna mshirika wala mfano.
وَ لَا خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَ لَا تَبْدِيْلَ
Wa lā khulfa liqawlika wa lā tabdīla
There is no change to Your words and no replacement.
Hakuna kubadilika kwa maneno Yako wala mabadiliko.
وَ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهٖ عَبْدُكَ وَ رَسُوْلُكَ
Wa anna muḥammadan ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa al-h ʿabduka wa rasūluka
And that Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is Your servant and messenger.
Na kwamba Muhammad (rehma na amani zimshukie yeye na Ahlul-Bayt wake) ni mja Wako na mtume Wako.
اَدّٰى مَا حَمَّلْتَهٗ اِلَى الْعِبَادِ
Addāā mā ḥammaltah al-ā al-ʿibādi
He conveyed what You entrusted to him to the servants.
Alifikisha kwa waja wako yale Uliyompa jukumu la kufikisha.
وَجَاهَدَ فِىْ اللهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ حَقَّ الْجِهَادِ
Wajāhada fiā Allāhi ʿazza wa jalla ḥaqqa al-jihādi
And he strove in Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with true striving.
Na alijitahidi kwa ajili ya Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu kwa juhudi za kweli.
وَ اَنَّهٗ بَشَّرَ بِمَا هُوَ حَقٌّ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ
Wa annah basshara bimā huwa ḥaqqun mina ath-thawābi
And he gave glad tidings of what is true of reward.
Na alitoa bishara ya thawabu za kweli.
وَ اَنْذَرَ بِمَا هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ الْعِقَابِ
Wa andhara bimā huwa ṣidqun mina al-ʿiqābi
And he warned of what is true of punishment.
Na alionya kuhusu adhabu za kweli.
اَللّٰهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِىْ عَلٰى دِيْنِكَ مَا اَحْيَيْتَنِىْ
Allāhumma thabbitniā ʿalāā dīnika mā aḥyaytaniā
O Allah, keep me firm upon Your religion as long as You give me life.
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, nithibitishe juu ya dini Yako maadamu unanihuisha.
وَ لَا تُزِغْ قَلْبِىْ بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنِىْ
Wa lā tuzigh qalbiā baʿda idh hadaytaniā
And do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me.
Wala usiache moyo wangu ukenyuke baada ya kuniongoza.
وَ هَبْ لِىْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً
Wa hab liā min ladunka raḥmatan
And grant me mercy from Yourself.
Na unijalie rehema kutoka Kwako.
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Innaka anta al-wahhābu
Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Hakika, Wewe ndiye Mtoaji wa neema.
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ عَلٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Ṣalli ʿalāā muḥammadin wwa ʿalāā ali muḥammadin
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
Mteremshie rehema Muhammad na Ahlul-Bayt wake.
وَّاجْعَلْنِىْ مِنْ اَتْبَاعِهٖ وَ شِيْعَتِهٖ
Wwājʿalniā min atbāʿih wa shīʿatih
And make me among his followers and his Shia.
Na unijaalie niwe miongoni mwa wafuasi wake na Shia wake.
وَاحْشُرْنِىْ فِىْ زُمْرَتِهٖ
Wāḥshurniā fiā zumratih
And gather me in his group.
Na unikusanye katika kundi lake.
وَ وَفِّقْنِىْ لِاَدَاۤءِ فَرْضِ الْجُمُعَاتِ
Wa waffiqniā liādāʾi farḍi al-jumuʿāti
And grant me success in fulfilling the obligation of Fridays.
Na unipe tawfiki ya kutekeleza wajibu wa Ijumaa.
وَ مَا اَوْجَبْتَ عَلَىَّ فِيْهَا مِنَ الطَّاعَاتِ
Wa mā awjabta ʿalā fīhā mina aṭ-ṭāʿāti
And what You have made obligatory upon me therein of obedience.
Na yale uliyonilazimisha humo katika utiifu.
وَ قَسَمْتَ لِاَهْلِهَا مِنَ الْعَطَاۤءِ
Wa qasamta liāhlihā mina al-ʿaṭāʾi
And the share of blessings You have allotted for its people.
Na sehemu ya neema uliyoigawa kwa watu wake.
فِىْ يَوْمِ الْجَزَاۤءِ
Fiā yawmi al-jazāʾi
On the Day of Recompense.
Katika Siku ya Malipo.
اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ
Innaka anta al-ʿazīzu al-ḥakīmu
Indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise.
Hakika, Wewe ndiye Mwenye Nguvu na Mwenye Hekima.
