ʾanta Allāhu adh-dhī astajabta liʾādama wa ḥawwāʾa ḥīna qālā rabbanā ẓalamnā ʾanfusanā wa ʾin lam taghfir lanā wa tarḥamnā lanakūnanna mina al-khāsirīna
You are Allah, Who answered Adam and Eve when they said: 'Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.'
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu Ambaye Uliyemjibu Adamu na Hawa waliposema: 'Mola wetu! Tumedhulumu nafsi zetu, na usipotusamehe na kuturehemu, hakika tutakuwa miongoni mwa waliopata hasara.'
Wa ʾanta adh-dhī astajabta liʾayyūba ḥīna nādāka ʾannī massaniya aḍ-ḍurru wa ʾanta ʾarḥamu ar-rāḥimīna
And You are He Who answered Job when he called out to You: 'Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy.'
Na Wewe ndiye Uliyemwitikia Ayubu alipoomba Kwako: 'Hakika dhiki imenisibu, na Wewe ndiye Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wanaorehemu.'
Fakashafta mā bihi min ḍurrin wa ātaytahu ʾahlahu wa mithlahum maʿahum raḥmatan min ʿindika wa dhikrā liʾūlī al-ʾalbābi
So We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his family to him, and the like thereof with them, as a mercy from Us and a reminder for those who possess understanding.
Basi tukamwondolea dhiki aliyokuwa nayo, na tukamrejeshea familia yake na mfano wao pamoja nao, kama rehema kutoka kwetu na ukumbusho kwa wenye akili.
Wa ʾanta adh-dhī astajabta lidhī an-nūni ḥīna nādāka fī aẓ-ẓulumāti ʾan lā ʾilāha ʾillā ʾanta subḥānaka ʾinnī kuntu mina aẓ-ẓālimīna
And You are He Who answered Jonah (the man of the fish) when he cried out in the depths of darkness: 'There is no god but You, Glory be to You! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.'
Na Wewe ndiye Uliyemwitikia dhu-Nun (Yunus) alipoomba katika giza: 'Hapana mungu ila Wewe, Utukufu ni Wako! Hakika mimi nilikuwa miongoni mwa waliodhulumu.'
Wa ʾaghraqta firʿawna wa qawmahu wa ghafarta lidāwuda dhanbahu wa nabbahta qalbahu wa ʾarḍayta khaṣmahu raḥmatan minka wa dhikrā
And You drowned Pharaoh and his people, and forgave David his slip, awakened his heart, and satisfied his adversary, out of mercy from You and a reminder.
Na Ukamzamisha Firauni na watu wake, na Ukamsamehe Daudi dhambi yake, Ukazindua moyo wake, na Ukamridhisha adui yake, kwa rehema kutoka Kwako na ukumbusho.
Wa ʾanta adh-dhī fadayta adh-dhabīḥa bidhibḥin ʿaẓīmin ḥīna ʾaslamā wa tallahu liljabīni fanādaytahu biālfaraji wa ar-rawḥi
And You are He Who ransomed the youth destined for sacrifice with 'a momentous sacrifice' when 'they had both submitted and he flung him down upon his face', then You called out to him with relief and ease.
Na Wewe ndiye Uliyemkomboa yule aliyetayarishwa kuchinjwa kwa 'mnyama mkubwa wa dhabihu' pindi 'walipojisalimisha wote wawili na akamweka kifudifudi', kisha Ukamlingania kwa faraja na amani.
Wa ʾanta adh-dhī nādāka zakariyyā nidāʾan khafiyyan qāla rabbi ʾinnī wahana al-ʿaẓmu minnī wa ashtaʿala ar-raʾsu shayban wa lam ʾakun biduʿāʾika rabbi shaqiyyanā
And You are He Whom Zechariah called upon in secret, saying: 'My Lord! Lo! My bones wet-rot and my head shimmers with grey hair, and I have never been unblest in prayer to You, my Lord!'
Na Wewe ndiye Ambaye Zakaria alikuomba kwa sauti ya siri akisema: 'Mola wangu! Hakika mifupa yangu imedhoofika na kichwa kimejaa mvi, na sijawahi kuwa mwenye kukosa bahati katika kukuomba Wewe, Mola wangu!'
Wa taqabbal ṣalātī wa ḥasanātī wa ṭayyib baqiyyata ḥayātī wa ṭayyib wafātī wa akhlufnī fīman ʾukhallafu wa aḥfaẓhum rabbi biduʿāʾī
and accept my prayer and my good deeds, and make pure the remainder of my life, and make pure my death, and succeed me among those I leave behind, and protect them, O Lord, by my supplication.
na Ukubali swala zangu na mema yangu, na Ufanye maisha yangu yaliyosalia kuwa mema, na Ufanye kifo changu kiwe kheri, na uwe mlinzi kwa wale ninaowaacha nyuma yangu, na uwalinde, Ee Mola wangu, kwa dua yangu.
Wa ajʿal dhurriyyatī dhurriyyatan ṭayyibatan taḥūṭuhā biḥiyāṭatika min kulli mā ḥuṭta minhu dhurriyyata ʾawliyāʾika wa ʾahli ṭāʿatika biraḥmatika yā raḥīmu yā ʾarḥama ar-rāḥimīna
And make my offspring a righteous offspring, guarding them with Your protection from everything against which You protect the offspring of Your friends and the people of Your obedience, by Your mercy, O Merciful [O Most Merciful of those who show mercy].
Na Ufanye kizazi changu kuwa kizazi chema, ukikilinda kwa ulinzi Wako dhidi ya kila kitu Unachowalinda nacho kizazi cha marafiki Zako na watu wa utiifu Wako, kwa rehema Yako, Ee Mwenye kurehemu [Ee Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wanaorehemu].
Yā man huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin raqībun wa min kulli sāʾilin qarībun wa min kulli dāʿin min khalqihi mujībun
O He Who is Powerful over all things, and [He Who] is Watchful over all things, and is Close to every asker, and is Responsive to every caller among His creation,
Ee Yule Ambaye ni Muweza wa kila kitu, na [Yule Ambaye] ni Mlinzi juu ya kila kitu, na Yuko karibu na kila anayeomba, na Mwenye kujibu kila mwombaji miongoni mwa viumbe Vyake,
You are Allah, there is no god but You, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, the One, the Eternally Besought of all, Who 'begets not nor is He begotten, and there is none like unto Him.'
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Aliyehai, Mwenye kusimamia kila kitu, Mmoja, Mtegemewa na wote, Ambaye 'hakuzaa wala hakuzaliwa, na wala hapana yeyote anayefanana Naye.'
Biālqudrati at-tī ʿalawta bihā fawqa ʿarshika wa rafaʿta bihā samāwātika wa ʾarsayta bihā jibālaka wa farashta bihā ʾarḍaka
By the power with which You rose above Your Throne, and with which You raised Your heavens, and with which You set firm Your mountains, and with which You spread out Your earth,
Kwa uwezo Ambao kwayo Ulipanda juu ya Kiti Chako cha Enzi, na kwayo Ukainua mbingu Zako, na kwayo Ukaziimarisha milima Yako, na kwayo Ukatandaza ardhi Yako,
Wa ʾajrayta bihā al-ʾanhāra wa sakkharta bihā as-saḥāba wa ash-shamsa wa al-qamara wa al-layla wa an-nahāra wa khalaqta bihā al-khalāʾiqa
and with which You made the rivers flow, and subjugated the clouds, the sun, the moon, the night, and the day, and with which You created all creation,
na kwayo Ukazifanya mito itiririke, na Ukatiisha mawingu, jua, mwezi, usiku, na mchana, na kwayo Ukasababisha viumbe vyote viumbwe,
ʾasʾaluka biʿaẓamati wajhika al-karīmi adh-dhī ʾashraqat bihi as-samāwātu wa ʾaḍāʾat bihi aẓ-ẓulumātu ʾan tuṣalliya ʿalā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin
I ask You by the greatness of Your Noble Face, by which the heavens shined and the darkness was illuminated, that You bless Muhammad and the household of Muhammad,
Nakuomba kwa utukufu wa Uso Wako Mtukufu, Ambao kwayo mbingu ziling’aa na giza likaangazwa, umshushie rehema Muhammad na kizazi cha Muhammad,
Wa ʾan takfiyanī ʾamra man yuʿādīnī wa ʾamra maʿādī wa maʿāshī wa ʾaṣliḥ yā rabbi shaʾnī wa lā takilnī ʾilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿaynin
and that You suffice me against the plot of him who shows enmity to me, and suffice me in the matter of my return (hereafter) and my livelihood, and set right, O Lord, my affairs, and do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye,
na Unitosheleze dhidi ya njama za anayenifanyia uadui, na Unitosheleze katika mambo ya marejeo yangu (Akhera) na maisha yangu, na Utengeneze, Ee Mola wangu, mambo yangu yote, wala usiniache na nafsi yangu hata kwa kope la jicho,
Wa ʾaṣliḥ ʾamra wuldī wa ʿiyālī wa ʾaghninī wa ʾiyyāhum min khazāʾinika wa saʿati rizqika wa faḍlika wa arzuqnī al-fiqha fī dīnika
and set right the affairs of my children and my family, and enrich me and them from Your treasures, the abundance of Your sustenance, and Your grace, and grant me understanding in Your religion,
na Utengeneze mambo ya wanangu na familia yangu, na Unitajirishe mimi na wao kutokana na hazina Zako na ukunjufu wa riziki Yako na fadhila Zako, na Uniruzuku ufahamu katika dini Yako,
Wa ʾanfiʿnī bimā nafaʿta bihi mani artaḍayta min ʿibādika wa ajʿalnī lilmuttaqīna ʾimāmanā kamā jaʿalta ʾibrāhīma faʾinna bitawfīqika yafūzu al-muttaqūna
and benefit me with that by which You benefited those of Your servants with whom You were pleased, and make me 'a leader for the righteous' just as You made Abraham; for indeed by Your guidance and success do the righteous triumph,
na Uninufaishe kwa kile Ulichowanufaisha nacho wale miongoni mwa waja Wako ulioridhika nao, na Unifanye 'kuwa kiongozi wa wachamungu' kama Ulivyomfanya Ibrahimu; kwani hakika kwa taufiki Yako wachamungu hufanikiwa,
Allāhumma bayyin lahā rashādahā wa taqwāhā wa nazzilhā mina al-jināni ʾaʿlāhā wa ṭayyib wafātahā wa maḥyāhā
O Allah, clarify for it its guidance and its piety, and settle it in the highest of Gardens, and make pleasant its death and its life,
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, ibainishie uongofu wake na ucha Mungu wake, na Uifikishe katika Pepo ya daraja ya juu kabisa, na Ufanye kifo chake na maisha yake kuwa mema,
Wa muḥammadi bni ʿaliyyin wa ʿaliyyi bni muḥammadin wa al-ḥasani bni ʿaliyyin wa al-ḥujjati al-qāʾimi ṣalawātu Allāhi ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhim ʿindaka wa bimanzilatihim ladayka yā ʾarḥama ar-rāḥimīna.
and Muhammad ibn 'Ali, 'Ali ibn Muhammad, al-Hasan ibn 'Ali, and the rising Proof (al-Hujjah al-Qa'im) - may the blessings of Allah be upon him and upon them with You, and by their status in Your presence, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
na Muhammad bin Ali, Ali bin Muhammad, al-Hasan bin Ali, na Hoja Aliyesimama (al-Hujjah al-Qa'im) - rehema za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na juu yao mbele Yako, na kwa daraja yao mbele Yako, Ee Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wanaorehemu.
