اَللّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى الصِّدِّيْقَةِ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّكِيَّةِ
SALAWAT UPON LADY FATIMAH
SALAWA KWA BIBI FATIMAH
اَللّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى الصِّدِّيْقَةِ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّكِيَّةِ
Allāhumma ṣalla ʿalā aṣ-ṣiddīqati fāṭimata az-zakiyyati
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon the veracious and immaculate lady Fatimah
Ee Allah, mswalie mkweli na aliyetakasika Bibi Fatimah
حَبِيْبَةٍ حَبِيْبِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ
Ḥabībatin ḥabībika wa nabiyyika
the most beloved by Your dearest and Prophet
mpendwa wa mpenzi Wako na Nabii Wako
وَ أَمِّ اَحِبَآئِكَ وَ اَضفِيَآئِكَ
Wa ʾammi aḥibaʾāʾika wa aḍfiyaʾāʾika
and the mother of Your dearest and choice ones.
na mama wa wapenzi Wako na wateule Wako.
الَتِيْ انْتَجَبْتَهَا وَ فَضَّلْتَهَا
At-tī antajabtahā wa faḍḍaltahā
You have selected, given preference to,
Ambaye Umemteua, ukampa upendeleo,
وَ اخْتَرْتَهَا عَلَى نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
Wa akhtartahā ʿalā nisāʾi al-ʿālamīna
and chosen her from among the women of the worlds (i.e. ages).
na ukamchagua miongoni mwa wanawake wa walimwengu.
اَللَّهُمَّ كُنِ الطَّالِبَ لَهَا مِمَّنْ ظَلَمَهَا
Allāhumma kuni aṭ-ṭāliba lahā mimman ẓalamahā
O Allah, be her representative against those who wronged her
Ee Allah, kuwa mtafuta haki yake dhidi ya waliomdhulumu
وَ اسْتَخَفَّ بِحَقَّهَا
Wa astakhaffa biḥaqqahā
and belittled her right.
na waliopuuza haki yake.
وَ كُنِ الثَّآئِرَ اللَّهُمَّ بِدَمِ اَوْلَادِهَا
Wa kuni ath-thaʾāʾira Allāhumma bidami awlādihā
Be, O Allah, the One Who shall revenge upon those who shed the blood of her descendants.
Na uwe, Ee Allah, mlipiza kisasi kwa damu za watoto wake.
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ كَمَا جَعَلْتَهَا أُمَّ اَئِمَةِ الْهُدْى
Allāhumma wa kamā jaʿaltahā ʾumma aʾimati al-hudā
O Allah, just as You have chosen her to be the mother of the Leaders of Guidance,
Ee Allah, kama ulivyomjaalia kuwa mama wa Maimamu wa uongofu,
وَ حَلِيْلَةَ صَاحِبِ اللَّوَآءِ
Wa ḥalīlata ṣāḥibi al-lawaʾāʾi
the wife of the Bearer of the Pennon,
mke wa mshika bendera,
وَ الْكَرِيْمَةَ عِنْدَ الْمَلَاِ الْاَعْلَى
Wa al-karīmata ʿinda al-malā al-āʿlā
and the most honored lady with the Highest Group,
na mtukufu mbele ya kundi tukufu la juu,
فَصَلَّ عَلَيْهَا وَ عَلَى أُمَّهَا
Faṣalla ʿalayhā wa ʿalā ʾummahā
so (please) do endow her and her mother with such blessings
basi mswalie yeye na mama yake kwa rehema
صَلْوةً تُكْرِمُ بِهَا وَجْهَ آَبِيْهَا
Ṣalwtan tukrimu bihā wajha ābīhā
that confer honor upon her father Muhammad,
ambazo zitamtukuza baba yake Muhammad,
مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ الِهِ
Muḥammadin ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa al-hi
Allah's blessings be upon him and his family,
rehema za Allah ziwe juu yake na Aali zake,
وَ تُقِرُّ بِهَا اَعْيُنَ ذُرِّيَّتِهَا
Wa tuqirru bihā aʿyuna dhurriyyatihā
and delight the eyes of her offspring.
na kufurahisha macho ya kizazi chake.
وَ اَبْلِغْهُمْ عَنِّيْ فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ
Wa ablighhum ʿannī fī hadhihi as-sāʿati
And (please) convey to them, at this very hour,
Na wafikishie kutoka kwangu, katika saa hii,
اَفْضَلَ التَّحِيَّةِ وَ السَّلَامِ.
Afḍala at-taḥiyyati wa as-salāmi.
the most excellent greeting and salutation from me.
maamkizi na salamu bora kabisa.
