SALAWAT UPON THE HOLY INFALLIBLES. Within the recommended rites on Fridays, Shaykh al-Tusi, in his book of Misbah al-Mutahajjid, has mentioned the following: A group of our companions have reported on the authority of Abu'l-Mufazzal al-Shaybani that Abu-Muhammad 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad al'Abid related to them in al-Daliyah, saying: In the year 255, I asked my master Imam al-Hasan al'Askari, peace be upon him, in his house in Surra-Man-Ra'a (Samarra') to dictate to me an invocation of blessings upon the Prophet and his Successors, peace be upon him and them, after l had brought with me a big sheet of paper. The Imam ('a) dictated to me orally, saying: Write down the following:
SALAWA KWA MAIMAMU MAASUM. Katika amali zinazopendekezwa siku ya Ijumaa, Shaykh al-Tusi, katika kitabu chake cha Misbah al-Mutahajjid, ametaja yafuatayo: Kikundi cha maswahaba wetu kimeripoti kwa mamlaka ya Abu'l-Mufazzal al-Shaybani kwamba Abu-Muhammad 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-'Abid aliwasimulia huko al-Daliyah, akisema: Katika mwaka wa 255, nilimwomba bwana wangu Imam al-Hasan al-'Askari (as), katika nyumba yake huko Surra-Man-Ra'a (Samarra) aniididie dua ya kumswalia Mtume na mawasii wake (as), baada ya kuwa nimekuja na karatasi kubwa. Imam (as) aliniididia kwa mdomo, akisema: Andika yafuatayo:
