Instructions
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى جَعْفَرِ بْن مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقِ
Salawat upon Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Swala kwa Imam Jafar mwana wa Muhammad (amani iwe juu yake).
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى جَعْفَرِ بْن مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقِ
Allāhumma ṣalla ʿalā jaʿfari bn muḥammadin aṣ-ṣādiqi
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Ja'far the son of Muhammad the veracious,
Ee Allah, mswalie Ja'far mwana wa Muhammad mkweli,
خَازِنِ الْعِلْمِ
Khāzini al-ʿilmi
the hoarder of knowledge,
mtunza hazina ya elimu,
الدَّاعِي اِلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ
Ad-dāʿī al-yka biālḥaqqi
the caller to You with the truth,
mlinganiaji kwako kwa haki,
النُّوْرِ الْمُبِيْنِ
An-nūri al-mubīni
and the manifest light.
na nuru iliyo dhahiri.
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ كَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ مَعْدِنَ كَلَامِكَ وَ وَحِيِكَ
Allāhumma wa kamā jaʿaltahu maʿdina kalāmika wa waḥiyika
O Allah, as You have made him the core of Your words and revelations,
Ee Allah, kama ulivyomfanya kuwa chimbuko la maneno Yako na ufunuo Wako,
وَ خَازِنَ عِلْمِكَ
Wa khāzina ʿilmika
the hoarder of Your knowledge,
na mtunza hazina ya elimu Yako,
وَ لِسَانَ تَوْحِيْدِكَ
Wa lisāna tawḥīdika
the spokesman of the profession of Your Oneness,
na msemaji wa kumpwekesha Kwako,
وَ وَلِيَّ اَمْرِكَ
Wa waliyya amrika
the authorized to undertake Your mission,
na msimamizi wa amri Yako,
وَ مُسْتَحْفِظَ دِيْنِكَ
Wa mustaḥfiẓa dīnika
and the keeper of Your religion,
na mlinzi wa dini Yako,
فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ
Faṣalli ʿalayhi
so also (please) send blessings upon him
basi mswalie yeye,
اَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى اَحَدٍ
Afḍala mā ṣallayta ʿalā aḥadin
with the most excellent blessings that You have ever sent upon any
swala bora kabisa ambazo umewahi kumswalia yeyote,
مِنْ اَصْفِيَآئِكَ وَ حُجَجِكَ
Min aṣfiyaʾāʾika wa ḥujajika
of Your elite people and arguments.
miongoni mwa wateule Wako na hoja Zako.
اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ.
Innaka ḥamīdun majīdun.
Verily, You are full of praise, full of glory.
Hakika Wewe ni Mwenye kuhimidiwa, Mtukufu.
