Virtues, description, and recitation method of ROSARY MADE OF THE TURBAT OF IMAM AL HUSAYN (A) as recorded in Shia traditions.
لَا إِلْهَ اِلَّا اللَهُ
According to a valid tradition, Imam AliAmeer al- must not finish his prayer before beseeching Allah to grant him Paradise, save him from Hellfire, and give him in marriage the Paradisiacal women." There is no god save Allah;
وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ
alone, alone, alone.
أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ
He has truly fulfilled His promise,
وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ
granted His servant victory,
وَاَعَزَّ جُنْدَهُ
made powerful His soldiers,
وَغَلَبَ الاَحْرَابَ وَحْدَهُ
and overcome the parties alone.
فَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
So, sovereignty be His and praise be His.
يُحْيِىْ وَيُمِيْتُ
He grants life and causes (others) to die,
وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُخِيِيْ
and (then) causes to die and raises from the dead;
وَ هُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوْثُ
while He is eternally Ever-living and He never dies.
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ
All goodness is at His Hand
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءِ قَدِيْرٌ.
and He has power over all things.
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ لَا اِلَهَ اِلَّا هُوَ
I implore the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god,
الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting, and the Lord of Majesty and Honoring,
وَأَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ.
and I repent to Him.
أُعِيْذُ نَفْسِى وَمَا رَزَقَنِن رَبَّى
For myself and for what my Lord has provided me,
بِاللهِ الْوَاحِدِ الصَّمَدِ
I pray for the protection of Allah, the One, the Besought of Allah;
الَّذِىْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلِدْ
Who begets not, nor is He begotten,
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوَا اَحَدُ
and none is like Him.
وَأُعِيْذُ نَفْسِى وَمَا رَزَقَنِى رَبَّى
For myself and for what my Lord has provided me, l also seek the protection
بِرَبَّ الْفَلَقِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
of the Lord of the dawn from the evil of what He has created,
وَمِنْ شِرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ
from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
from the evil of those who blow on knots,
وَمِنْ شَرّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ
and from the evil of the envious when he envies.
وَأُعِيْذُ نَفْسِىْ وَمَا رَزَقَنِى رَبِّى
For myself and for what my Lord has provided me, l also seek the protection
بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
of the Lord of men,
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
the King of men,
اِلْهِ النَّاسِ
the God of men,
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَاسِ
from the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Satan)
الّذِىْ يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُوْرِ النَّاسِ
who whispers into the hearts of men
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ.
from among the jinn and the men.
اَعْوْذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ
I pray for the protection of Your Noble Face,
وَعِزَّتِكَ الْتِى لَا تُرَامُ
Your invulnerable Might,
وَقَدْرَتِكَ التِىْ لا يَمْتَنِ
and Your omnipotence against which nothing can stop,
اشيْءٌ
مِنْ شَرِّ الدُّنْيَا وَالأخِرَةِ
against the evils of this world and the Hereafter,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْاوْجَاعِ كُلَهَا.
and the evils of all pains.
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِالله الْعَلِىَّ الْعَظِيْمِ.
There is neither might nor power except with Allah, the All- high, the All-great.
اَللّهُمَّ اِنَّى اَسْتَلُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ
O Allah, I beseech You for every item of goodness
اَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ
that is comprehended by Your Knowledge.
وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلّ شَرِّ
And I seek Your protection against every evil
اَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلَمُكَ
that is comprehended by Your Knowledge. O Allah, I beseech You for Your bestowal of wellbeing (upon
اَللهُمَ إِنَّى اَسْئَلُكَ عَافِيَتَكَ فِي أُمُوْرِى كَلَّهَا
me) in all of my affairs
وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ خِزْى الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْأَخِرَةِ.
and I seek Your protection against disgrace in this world and chastisement in the Hereafter.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَال مُحَمَّدٍ.
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَال مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
وَاَجِرْنِى مِنَ النَّارِ
rescue me from Hellfire,
وَاَدْخِلْنِى الْجَنَّةَ
allow me to enter Paradise,
وَزَوِّجْنِى الحُوْرَ العِيْنَ.
and give me in marriage the wide-eyed Paradisiacal women. According to a valid tradition, lmam AliAmeer al- must not finish his prayer before beseeching Allah to grant him Paradise, save him from Hellfire, and give him in marriage the Paradisiacal women.'
