Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa Nafilah Zohr kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
اَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ.-
Aʿūdhu biāllhi mina ash-shayṭāni ar-rajīmi.
I pray for Allah's protection from Satan, the accursed.
Ninaomba ulinzi wa Mwenyezi Mungu kutoka kwa Shetani, mlaaniwa.
اَللّهُمَّ إِنَّى ضَعِيْفٌ
Allāhumma ʾinnā ḍaʿīfun
O Allah, I am weak;
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, mimi ni dhaifu;
فَقَوِّ فِى رِضَاكَ ضَعْفِى
Faqawwi fiā riḍāka ḍaʿfiā
so, (please) strengthen my weakness in the course of Your pleasure,
Basi, (tafadhali) uimarishe udhaifu wangu katika njia ya radhi Yako.
وَ خُذْ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ بِنَا صِيَتِىْ
Wa khudh ʾilā al-khayri binā ṣiyatiā
lead my forelock to goodness,
kuongoza govi langu kwa wema,
وَاجْعَلِ الْإِيْمَانَ مُنْتَهَى رِضَائِى
Wājʿali al-ʾīmāna muntahā riḍāʾiā
cause faith to be the utmost of my pleasure,
fanya imani iwe ndiyo furaha yangu yote,
وَبَارِك لِي فِيْمَا قَسَمْتَ لِى
Wabārik lī fīmā qasamta liā
bless for me that which You have decided for me,
nibariki uliyoniamulia,
وَ بَلِّغْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ كُلَّ الَّذِي آَرْجُوْ مِثْكَ
Wa ballighniā biraḥmatika kulla adh-dhī ārjū mithka
make me attain, by means of Your mercy, all that which l wish from You,
Nijaalie kwa rehema Yako kila ninalotaka kutoka Kwako.
وَاجْعَلْ لِى وُدًّا
Wājʿal liā wuddan
and appoint love for me,
na uniwekee upendo,
وَسُرُوْرًا لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
Wasurūran lilmuʾminīna
delight for the believers,
furaha kwa waumini,
وَعَهْدًا عِنْدَكَ.
Waʿahdan ʿindaka.
and a covenant with You.
na agano na Wewe.
