Fadana al-ḥusanu naḥwālkisāʾi wa qāla: as-salāmu ʿalaka a jaddāhu as-salāmu ʿalaka a mani akhtārahu Allāhu atādhanu li an akūna maʿakumā taḥta al-kisāʾi
Husayn approached the cloak and said: 'Peace be upon you, O my grandfather, peace be upon you, O chosen by Allah. May I join you both under the cloak?'
Husayn alkaribia kilele na kusema: 'Amani iwe juu yako, E babu yangu, amani iwe juu yako, E aliyechaguliwa na Mwenyezi Mungu. Naweza kujiunga nanyi chini ya kilele?'
Faqāla: a fāṭima inni ashammu ʿindaki rāʾiḥa ṭaba kānnahā rāʾiḥa akhi wābni ʿammi rasūli Allāhi ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi waʾālihi
He said: 'O Fatimah, I smell a fragrance near you, like the fragrance of my brother and cousin, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family).'
Akasema: 'E Fatimah, ninahisi harufu njema karibu nawe, kama harufu ya kaka na binamu yangu, Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu (amani iwe juu yake na familia yake).'
Falammā aktamalnā jamiʿan taḥta al-kisāʾi akhadha abi rasūlu Allāhi biṭarafi al-kisāʾi wa awmaʾa bidihi al-mnāā al- as-samāʾi wa qāla: Allāhumma inna hāwlāʾi ahlu bati wa khāṣṣati wa ḥāmmati laḥmuhum laḥmi wa damuhum dami yūlimuni mā wlimuhum wa ḥzununi mā ḥzunuhum anā ḥarbun lliman ḥārabahum wa silmun lliman sālamahum wa ʿaduwwun lliman ʿādāhum wa muḥibbun lliman aḥabbahum innahum minni wa anā minhum fājʿal ṣalawātika wa barakātika wa raḥmataka wa ghufrānaka wa riḍwānaka ʿala wa ʿalahim wa adhhib ʿanhumu ar-rijsa wa ṭahhirhum taṭhiranā
When we were all gathered under the cloak, my father, the Messenger of Allah, held the edge of the cloak, raised his right hand to the sky, and said: 'O Allah, these are my Ahl al-Bayt, my special ones, my protectors. Their flesh is my flesh, their blood is my blood. Whatever hurts them hurts me; whatever grieves them grieves me. I am at war with whoever is at war with them, and at peace with whoever is at peace with them. I am their friend, and they are my friends. Bestow Your blessings, mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure upon me and upon them, and remove all impurity from them, and purify them completely.'
Tulipokuwa tumekusanyika wote chini ya kilele, baba yangu, Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, alikamata kona ya kilele, akainua mkono wake wa kulia juu ya anga, na kusema: 'Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, hawa ndio Ahl al-Bayt wangu, wa pekee wangu, walinzi wangu. Nyama yao ni nyama yangu, damu yao ni damu yangu. Yoyote yanayowauma, yananiuma; yote yanayowasumbua, yananisumbua. Niko vita na yeyote anayewapinga, na amani na yeyote anayewakubali. Mimi ni rafiki yao, nao ni marafiki wangu. Njalia baraka zako, rehema, msamaha na ridhaa zako juu yangu na juu yao, na toa uchafu wao wote na uwasafishe kabisa.'
Faqāla Allāhu ʿazza wa jalla: a malāʾikati wa a sukkāna samawāti inni mā khalaqtu samāʾan mmabni wwalā arḍan mmadḥi wwalā qamaran mmuniran wwalā shamsan mmuḍiʾa wwalā falakan dūru walā baḥran jri walā fulkan siri al-ā fi maḥabba hāwlāʾi al-khamsa adh-dhina hum taḥta al-kisāʾi
Allah, the Exalted, said: 'O My angels and inhabitants of My heavens, I have not created any sky, praised earth, shining moon, radiant sun, orbiting planet, flowing sea, or moving ship except for the love of these five who are under the cloak.'
Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliyekubalika, alisema: 'Enyi malaika zangu na wakaazi wa mbingu zangu, sikuwa nimeumba mbingu yoyote, dunia yenye sifa, mwezi unaong'aa, jua lenye mwanga, sayari inayozunguka, bahari inayoelea, au meli inayosogea isipokuwa kwa upendo wa hawa watano walio chini ya kilele.'
Wa qūlu laka: wa ʿizzati wa jalāli inni mā khalaqtu samāʾan mmabni wwalā arḍan mmadḥi wwalā qamaran mmuniran wwalā shamsan mmuḍiʾa wwalā falakan dūru walā baḥran jri walā fulkan siri al-ā liājlikum wa maḥabbatikum
He said: 'By My Might and Glory, I have not created any sky, praised earth, shining moon, radiant sun, orbiting planet, flowing sea, or moving ship except for you and your love.'
Akasema: 'Kwa Utukufu na Hekima Yangu, sikuwa nimeumba mbingu yoyote, dunia yenye sifa, mwezi unaong’aa, jua lenye mwanga, sayari inayozunguka, bahari inayoelea, au meli inayosogea isipokuwa kwa ajili yenu na upendo wenu.'
Gabriel entered with us under the cloak and said: 'O Abu, Allah has revealed to you, saying: Verily, Allah intends to remove all impurity from you, O People of the House, and purify you thoroughly.'
Jibrail alingia pamoja nasi chini ya kilele na kusema: 'E Abu, Mwenyezi Mungu amewaonyesha, akisema: Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anakusudia kuondoa uchafu wote kutoka kwenu, enyi Watu wa Nyumba, na kuwa safisha kabisa.'
Faqāla an-nabi ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi waʾālihi wālladhi baʿathani biālḥaqqi nabiā wāṣṭafāni biālrrisāla najiā mmā dhukira khabarunā hādhā fi maḥfilin mmin maḥāfili ahli al-ārḍi wa fīhi jamʿun mmin shiʿatinā wa muḥibbinā al-ā wa nazalat ʿalayhimu ar-raḥma wa ḥaffat bihimu al-malāʾika wāstaghfarat lahum ʾilā ʾan yatafarraqūā
The Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said: 'By Him who sent me with the truth as a prophet and chose me as a messenger, this narration has not been mentioned in any assembly of the people of the earth except that mercy descended upon them, the angels surrounded them, and sought forgiveness for them until they dispersed.'
Mtume (salallahu alayhi wa aalihi) alisema: 'Kwa Yeye aliyenituma kwa kweli kama Nabii na kunichagua kama Mtumwa, hadithi hii haijatajwa katika mkutano wowote wa watu wa dunia isipokuwa rehema ilishuka juu yao, malaika waliwazunguka, na wakaomba msamaha kwao hadi walipogawanyika.'
Faqāla an-nabi ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi waʾālihi thāniā: a ʿali! Wālladhi baʿathani biālḥaqqi nabiā wāṣṭafāni biālrrisāla najiā mmā dhukira khabarunā hādhā fi maḥfilin mmin maḥāfili ali al-ārḍi wa fīhi jamʿun mmin shiʿatinā wa muḥibbinā wa fīhim mahmūmun al-ā wa farraja Allāhu mmah walā maghmūmun al-ā wa kashafa Allāhu ghammah walā ṭālibu ḥāja al-ā wa qaḍā Allāhu ḥājatah
The Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said again: 'O Ali! By Him who sent me with truth as a prophet and chose me as a messenger, whenever this narration is mentioned in any gathering of the people of the earth which includes some of our Shi’a and lovers, any distressed person finds relief, any sorrowful person has sorrow removed, and any seeker of a need has it fulfilled by Allah.'
Mtume (salallahu alayhi wa aalihi) alisema tena: 'Ee Ali! Kwa Yeye aliyenituma kwa kweli kama Nabii na kunichagua kama Mtumwa, kila wakati hadithi hii inatajwa katika mkutano wowote wa watu wa dunia ikiwa ni pamoja na baadhi ya WaShi’a wetu na wapendao, mtu yeyote aliye na shida anapata faraja, mtu yeyote aliye na huzuni huzuni yake inaondolewa, na mtu yeyote aliye na haja inatimizwa na Mwenyezi Mungu.'
Faqāla ʿali idhan wālllāhi fuznā wa suʿidnā wa kadhālika shiʿatunā fāzūā wa suʿidūā fī ad-dunyā wālākhira wa rabbi al-kaʿba
Ali said: 'Then by Allah, we have triumphed and been blessed, and likewise our Shi’a, they have triumphed and been blessed in this world and the Hereafter, by the Lord of the Kaaba.'
Ali alisema: 'Basi kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, tumeshinda na tumeibarikiwa, na vivyo hivyo WaShi’a wetu, wamefanikiwa na kuebriwa katika dunia na Akhera, kwa Bwana wa Kaaba.'
