مروي عن الأئمة المعصومين عليهم السلام في كتب الأدعية المعتبرة.
Ibn Baabwayh reports Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) to have said: Any servant (of God) that repeats the following supplication seven times everyday, Hellfire will ask Almighty Allah to protect him against it:
Ibn Baabwayh anaripoti kutoka kwa Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) akisema: Mtumishi yeyote (wa Mwenyezi Mungu) anayesoma dua ifuatayo mara saba kila siku, Moto wa Jahannam utamwomba Mwenyezi Mungu amlinde nao:
اَسْئَلُ اللهَ الجَنَّةَ
As’alullāhal-jannah
I beseech Allah for Paradise
Namwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Pepo
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ النَّارِ.
Wa a’ūdu billāhi minan-nār.
and I pray for Allah's protection against the Fire.
na najikinga kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kutokana na Moto.
Instructions
Through another valid chain of authority, Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is also reported to have said: Almighty Allah will certainly forgive any believer who commits forty grand sins every day and night but he then feels sorry for that and prays Almighty Allah to forgive him by saying the following imploration of forgiveness:
Kupitia silsila nyingine sahihi ya upokezi, Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) pia anaripotiwa kusema: Mwenyezi Mungu hakika atamsamehe muumini yeyote anayetenda dhambi kubwa arobaini mchana na usiku lakini kisha akajuta kwa hilo na akamwomba Mwenyezi Mungu amsamehe kwa kusema ombi lifuatalo la kuomba msamaha:
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِى لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا هُوَ
Astagfirullāhal-ladī lā ilāha illā huw
I implore for the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god;
Naomba msamaha wa Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye hapana mungu ila Yeye;
الحَىُّ القَيُّوْمُ
Al-ḥayyul-qayyūm
the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting,
Aliye Hai daima, Msimamizi wa mambo yote,
بَدِيْعُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ
Badī’us-samāwāti wal-arḍ
the wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth,
Muumba wa ajabu wa mbingu na ardhi,
ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Ḍul-jalāli wal-ikrām
and the Lord of Majesty and Honoring;
Mwenye Utukufu na Karama;
وَ اَسْئَلْهُ اَنْ يَتُوْبَ عَلَىَّ.
Wa as’aluhū an yatūba ‘alayy.
and I beseech Him to accept my repentance.
na ninasali Kwake ili akubali toba yangu.
Instructions
Through another valid chain of authority, Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is also reported to have said: He who repeats the following doxology (zikr) seven times everyday is considered to have thanked Almighty Allah as it should be for the past and the coming graces:
Kupitia silsila nyingine sahihi ya upokezi, Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) pia anaripotiwa kusema: Yeyote anayerejea dhikr ifuatayo mara saba kila siku anachukuliwa kuwa amemshukuru Mwenyezi Mungu kama inavyopaswa kwa neema zilizopita na zinazokuja:
Alḥamdulillāhi ‘alā kulli ni’matin kānat aw hiya kā’inah.
All praise be to Allah for all graces that have passed or will come to pass.
Sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu kwa neema zote zilizopita au zitakazokuja.
Instructions
Through another valid chain of authority, Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is also reported to have said: He who repeats the following supplication twenty-five times every day, Almighty Allah will record for him rewards as many as the number of all believers that have passed and all believers that will exist up to the Resurrection Day, will erase sins of the same number that he committed, and will raise him ranks of the same number, too:
Kupitia silsila nyingine sahihi ya upokezi, Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) pia anaripotiwa kusema: Yeyote anayerudia dua ifuatayo mara ishirini na tano kila siku, Mwenyezi Mungu atamwandikia thawabu nyingi kama idadi ya waumini wote waliopita na waumini wote watakaokuwapo hadi Siku ya Kiyama, atamfutia dhambi za idadi kama hiyo alizotenda, na atampandisha daraja za idadi kama hiyo pia:
O Allah, (please) forgive the believing men and women and the Muslim men and women.
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) wasamehe waumini wanaume na wanawake, na Waislamu wanaume na wanawake.
Instructions
Through another valid chain of authority, Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is also reported to have said: He who repeats the following litany ten times every day, Almighty Allah will fend off from him seventy kinds of tribulations the easiest of which is distress (or, according to another narration, he will never be afflicted by poverty):
Kupitia silsila nyingine sahihi ya upokezi, Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) pia anaripotiwa kusema: Yeyote anayerudia dhikr ifuatayo mara kumi kila siku, Mwenyezi Mungu atamwepushia aina sabini za mabalaa, ambalo jepesi zaidi kati yake ni dhiki (au, kulingana na mapokezi mengine, hatasumbuliwa na umasikini kamwe):
لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ.
Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh.
There is neither might nor power except with Allah.
Hakuna nguvu wala uwezo ila kwa msaada wa Mwenyezi Mungu.
Instructions
Al-Kulayni, al-Tabrisi, and other scholars have reported through many chains of authority, some of which are acceptable (hasan) and others are valid, that Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) said that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) used to repeat the following two supplicatory statements seventy times each:
Al-Kulayni, al-Tabrisi, na wanazuoni wengine wameripoti kupitia silsila nyingi za upokezi, ambazo baadhi yake ni nzuri (hasan) na nyingine ni sahihi, kwamba Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) alisema kuwa Mtume Mtukufu (s.a.w.w.) alikuwa akirudia maneno mawili yafuatayo ya kuomba mara sabini kila moja:
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ
Astagfirullāh.
I implore Allah for forgiveness.
Namwomba Mwenyezi Mungu msamaha.
وَ أَتُوْبُ اِلَى اللهِ.
Wa atūbu ilallāh.
I repent to Allah.
Natubu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu.
Instructions
In the books of Kashf al-Ghummah and al-Amali by Shaykh al-Tusi, it is reported through a valid chain of authority that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said: He who repeats the following statement one hundred times every day, will be secured against poverty and loneliness in grave, will be granted richness, and the doors to Paradise will be opened before him:
Katika vitabu vya Kashf al-Ghummah na al-Amali vilivyoandikwa na Shaykh al-Tusi, imeripotiwa kupitia silsila sahihi ya upokezi kwamba Mtume Mtukufu (s.a.w.w.) alisema: Yeyote anayerudia kauli ifuatayo mara mia moja kila siku, ataepushwa na umasikini na upweke kaburini, atapewa utajiri, na milango ya Pepo itafunguliwa mbele yake:
