مروي عن الأئمة المعصومين عليهم السلام في كتب الأدعية المعتبرة.
A supplicatory prayer taught by Archangel Gabriel to the Holy Prophet:
Sayyid Ibn Tawus, in Muhaj al-Da'awat, has narrated on the authority of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.) that Archangel Gabriel, once, came to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and said, 'O Allah's Prophet, indeed, I have never loved any prophets as much as I loved you. You thus may repeat the following supplicatory prayer as many times as possible:'
Dua ya maombi aliyofundishwa Mtume Mtukufu na Malaika Jibril:
Sayyid Ibn Tawus, katika kitabu cha Muhaj al-Da'awat, amepokea kutoka kwa Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.) kwamba Malaika Jibril, wakati mmoja, alikuja kwa Mtume Mtukufu (s.a.w.w.) na kusema, 'Ee Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika, sijawahi kumpenda mtume yeyote kama nilivyokupenda wewe. Hivyo basi, unaweza kurudia dua ifuatayo mara nyingi uwezavyo:'
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَرَىٰ وَلَا تُرَىٰ
Allāhumma ʾinnaka tarā walā turā
O Allah, You verily see (all things) while You cannot be seen,
