A supplicatory prayer taught by Archangel Gabriel to the Holy Prophet: Sayyid Ibn Tawus, in Muhaj al-Da'awat, has narrated on the authority of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.) that Archangel Gabriel, once, came to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and said, 'O Allah's Prophet, indeed, I have never loved any prophets as much as I loved you. You thus may repeat the following supplicatory prayer as many times as possible:'
O Allah, You verily see (all things) while You cannot be seen,
while You are in the Highest Place.
To You are the Final Goal and the Final Return,
to You are the End and the Beginning (of all things),
and to You are the putting to death and the granting of life.
O Lord, I seek Your protection lest I am humiliated or disgraced.
