DUA E SANAMAY QURAISH
Ibne Abbas says that "One night I went to the Masjid so that I
may perform Namaz-e-Shab there. I saw Ameerul Momineen
(a.s.) praying there. I sat in a corner to see the beauty of
worship and listen to the recitation of Quran. Imam finished
the Nafila of Shab and the Namaz-e-Shab and Vatr prayers.
Then he (a.s.) recited some supplications like I have never
heard. When he (a.s.) finished the prayers, I asked him: 'May l
be sacrificed on you! What prayer you have recited?''' "It was
Dua-e-Sanamay Quraish," he (a.s.) replied. Then he (a.s.) said,
DUA YA SANAMAY QURAISH
Ibne Abbas anasema kwamba "Usiku mmoja nilienda Msikitini ili nitekeleze Sala ya Usiku (Namaz-e-Shab) huko. Nilimwona Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) akisali huko. Nikaketi kwenye kona ili kuona uzuri wa ibada na kusikiliza kisomo cha Kurani. Imam alimaliza sala za Nafila ya Usiku, Sala ya Usiku (Namaz-e-Shab) na Witr. Kisha yeye (a.s.) akasoma dua ambazo sijawahi kusikia. Alipomaliza sala, nilimwuliza: 'Nijitoe kafara kwako! Ni dua gani umesoma?'" "Ilikuwa Dua ya Sanamay Quraish," yeye (a.s.) alijibu. Kisha yeye (a.s.) alisema,
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Ṭāghūtayhā wa ifkayhā wa ibnatayhā alladhayni khālafā amrak wa ankarā waḥyak wa jaḥadā in'āmak wa
their two Taghut, and their two fabrications, and their two daughters, who defied Your command, and denied Your revelation, and rejected Your favors, and
Taghut zao mbili, na uwongo wao mbili, na binti zao wawili, ambao walikwenda kinyume na amri Yako, na walikataa wahyi Wako, na walikana neema Zako, na
Aḥkāmak wa abṭalā farā'iḍak wa alḥadā fī āyātika wa 'ādayā awliyā'ak wa wālayā a'dā'ak wa
Your rulings, and invalidated Your obligations, and deviated in Your verses, and antagonized Your friends, and befriended Your enemies, and
hukumu Zako, na walizibatilisha faradhi Zako, na walikengeuka katika aya Zako, na waliwafanyia uadui marafiki Wako, na waliwafanya marafiki maadui Wako, na
Dhanbahumā wa khallidhumā fī Saqar wa mā adrāka mā Saqar? Lā tubqī wa lā tadhar. Allahumma il'anhum bi 'adadi
their sin, and make them abide forever in Saqar. And what will make you know what Saqar is? It does not spare, nor does it leave (anything). O Allah, curse them by the number of

kila kinachostahilisha adhabu walichokifanya, na haki waliyoificha, na mimbar walio u panda, na muumini waliyemwacha, na mnafiki waliyemtetea, na rafiki
Adhawhu wa ṭarīdin āwawhu wa ṣādiqin ṭaradūhu wa kāfirin naṣarūhu wa imāmin qaharūhu wa farḍin ghayyarūhu
they harmed, and outcast they sheltered, and truthful they banished, and disbeliever they supported, and Imam they suppressed, and obligation they altered,
waliyemdhuru, na aliyefukuzwa walimpa makazi, na mkweli walimfukuza, na kafiri walimsaidia, na Imamu walimshinda, na faradhi waliyoibadilisha,
Wa atharin ankarūhu wa sharrin atharūhu wa damin arāqūhu wa khayrin baddalūhu wa kufrin naṣabūhu wa kidhbin dallashūhu
and tradition they denied, and evil they instigated, and blood they shed, and good they replaced, and disbelief they established, and lies they propagated,
na athari waliyoikataa, na shari waliyoianzisha, na damu waliyoimwaga, na kheri waliyoibadilisha, na ukafiri waliouanzisha, na uwongo walioueneza,
Katamūhā wa da'wā'i abṭalūhā wa bayyinati ankarūhā wa ḥīlati aḥdathūhā wa khyānati awradūhā wa
which they concealed, and claims which they nullified, and proofs which they denied, and schemes which they innovated, and betrayals which they committed, and
waliyoificha, na madai waliyoyabatilisha, na ushahidi waliyokataa, na hila walizozianzisha, na usaliti walioufanya, na
Allāhumma ṣalli 'alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin fa-aghninī bi-ḥalālika 'an ḥarāmika wa a'idhnī mina
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad. Then enrich me with Your lawful provisions, away from Your unlawful, and protect me from
