مروي عن الأئمة المعصومين عليهم السلام في كتب الأدعية المعتبرة.
In his book of Miqbas al-Masabih, 'Allamah al-Majlisi says: Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is reported through valid chains of authority to have said: There are three hours at night and three others at day at which Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, glorifies Himself. The three hours of days begin when the sun in the east side is in the same rising in the afternoon on the other (west) side; that is at early forenoon. The three hours of night begin at the last third of night up to dawn (fajr). Any servant glorifies Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, at these hours with full heart presence, Almighty Allah will settle his needs, and if he is unhappy (because of sinning), I expect that he will be made happy. It is most suitable to say the following words of glorification at these hours:
Katika kitabu chake cha Miqbas al-Masabih, 'Allamah al-Majlisi anasema: Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) anaripotiwa kupitia silsila sahihi za mamlaka akisema: Kuna masaa matatu usiku na mengine matatu mchana ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye nguvu na Utukufu, Anajitukuza Mwenyewe. Masaa matatu ya mchana huanza wakati jua upande wa mashariki linapokuwa katika mwinuko ule ule wakati wa mchana upande mwingine (magharibi); yaani asubuhi mapema. Masaa matatu ya usiku huanza katika theluthi ya mwisho ya usiku hadi alfajiri (fajr). Mtumishi yeyote anayemtukuza Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye nguvu na Utukufu, katika masaa haya kwa utulivu kamili wa moyo, Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu atamtimizia haja zake, na ikiwa ana huzuni (kwa sababu ya kutenda dhambi), nataraji kuwa atafanywa mwenye furaha. Ni vyema zaidi kusema maneno yafuatayo ya utukufu katika masaa haya:
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلَهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā anta rabbul-'ālamīn
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the Lord of the Worlds.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mola wa walimwengu wote.
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيْمُ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antar-rahmānur-rahīm
You are Allah; there is no god save You, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu; hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mwingi wa rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ الْعَلِىُّ الْكَبِيْرُ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antal-'aliyyul-kabīr
You are Allah; there is no god save You, the All-High, the All-great.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu; hapana mungu ila Wewe, Aliye Juu kabisa, Mkubwa.
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ مَلِكُ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā anta māliki yawmid-dīn
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the Master of the Judgment Day.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mfalme wa Siku ya Malipo.
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antal-ghafūrur-rahīm
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the All-forgiving, the All-merciful.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mwingi wa kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu.
آَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antal-'azīzul-hakīm
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the Almighty, the All-wise.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hekima.
آَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ مِنْكَ بَدْءُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā anta minka bad'u kulli shay'
You are Allah, there is no god save You, from You is the beginning of all things
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, kutoka Kwako ndio mwanzo wa kila kitu
وَ إِلَيْكَ يَعُوْدُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ
Wa ilayka ya'ūdu kullu shay'
and to You do all things return.
na Kwako Wewe vinarejea vitu vyote.
اَنْتَ اللهُ الَّذِى لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ لَمْ تَزَلْ وَ لَا تَزَالُ
Anta-llāhulla-dhī lā ilāha illā anta lam tazal wa lā tazāl
You are Allah, there is no god save You, You have been always existent and You will always be existent.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye hapana mungu ila Wewe, Umekuwa ukiwepo daima na Utakuwepo daima.
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ خَالِقُ الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرّ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā anta khāliqul-khayri wash-sharr
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the Creator of good and evil.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Muumba wa heri na shari.
أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلَهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ خَالِقُ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā anta khāliqul-jannati wan-nār
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the Creator of Paradise and Hell.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Muumba wa Pepo na Moto.
أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلَهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ الْاَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antal-ahadus-samad
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the One and the eternally besought of all.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mmoja wa Pekee, Mtegemewa na viumbe vyote.
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُوْلَدْ
Lam yalid wa lam yūlad
He begets not nor was begotten
Hakuzaa wala hakuzaliwa
وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا آَحَدٌ
Wa lam yakun lahū kufuwan ahad
and there is none comparable to Him.
wala hapana yeyote anayelingana Naye.
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوْسُ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antal-malikul-quddūs
You are Allah; there is no god save You, the King, the All-holy,
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu; hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mfalme, Mtakatifu sana,
السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ
As-salāmul-mu'minul-muhaymin
the Giver of peace, the Granter of security, the Guardian over all,
Mtoa amani, Mtoa usalama, Mlinzi wa kila kitu,
الْعَزِيْزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ
Al-'azīzul-jabbārul-mutakabbir
the Almighty, the Omnipotent, and the Grand.
Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kushinda, Mtukufu.
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ
Subḥānal-lāhi 'ammā yushrikūn
Glory be to Allah from what they set up with Him.
Utakasifu ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu kutokana na yale wanayomshirikisha Nayo.
أَنْتَ اللهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ
Anta-llāhul-khāliqul-bāri'ul-musawwir
You are Allah, the Creator, the Originator, and the Fashioner.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, Muumba, Mtengenezaji, na Mtia sura.
لَكَ الْاَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى
Lakal-asmā'ul-husnā
Yours are the most excellent names.
Wewe una majina mazuri kabisa.
يُسَبَّحُ لَكَ مَا فِي السَّمْوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
Yusabbihu laka mā fis-samāwāti wal-ard
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares Your glory;
Kila kilichomo mbinguni na ardhini kinasifu utukufu Wako;
وَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ
Wa antal-'azīzul-hakīm
and You are the Almighty, the All-wise.
na Wewe ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hekima.
اَنْتَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ الْكَبِيْرُ الْمُتَعَالِ
Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā antal-kabīrul-muta'āl
You are Allah, there is no god save You, the Great, the Most High.
Wewe ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Wewe, Mkubwa, Aliye Juu kabisa.
وَالْكِبْرِيَآءُ رِدَاوُكَ
Wal-kibriyā'u ridā'uk
Grandeur is Your dress.
Na ukubwa ndio vazi Lako.
آَنْ تُصَلَّىَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِي كَذَا وَ كَذَا...
An tusalliya 'alā Muhammadin wa āli Muhammadin wa an taf'ala bī kadhā wa kadhā...
that You send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and do for me this and that [mention your needs]...
kwamba Umtumie rehema Muhammad na familia ya Muhammad, na Unifanyie mimi hivi na hivi [taja haja zako]...
