Virtues, description, and recitation method of DUA FOR THE NINETH HOUR as recorded in Shia traditions.
Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa DUA KWA SAA TISA kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
يَا مَنْ دَعَاهُ الْمُضْطَرُوْنَ فَاَجَابَهُمْ
Yā man daʿāhu al-muḍṭarūna fājābahum
You may now mention your needs. O He Who, when the distressed prayed Him, responded to them,
Sasa unaweza kutaja mahitaji yako. Ewe Ambaye walio dhiki walipomwomba, akawaitikia.
وَالْتَجَاَ اِلَيْهِا لْخَائِفُوْنَ فَامَنَهُمْ
Wāltajā al-yhiā lkhāʾifūna fāmanahum
when the afraid had recourse with Him, granted them security,
Wale waogopao walipomwendea, akawaweka salama.
وَعَبَدَهُ الطَّائِعُوْنَ فَشَكَرَ هُمْ
Waʿabadahu aṭ-ṭāʾiʿūna fashakara hum
when the obedient served Him, thanked them,
watiifu walipomtumikia, akawashukuru.
وَ شَكَرَهُ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ فَحَبَاهُمْ
Wa shakarahu al-muʾminūna faḥabāhum
when the believers thanked Him, favored upon them,
Waumini walipomshukuru na akawaneemesha.
وَ اَطَاعُوْهُ فَعَصَمَهُمْ
Wa aṭāʿūhu faʿaṣamahum
when they obeyed Him, safeguarded them,
walipomtii, akawalinda.
وَ سَئَلُوْهُ فَاعْطَاهُمْ
Wa saʾalūhu fāʿṭāhum
when they asked Him, gave them, and when they forgot His grace, did not evacuate thanking
walipomwomba, akawapa, na waliposahau neema yake, hawakuondoa shukrani
وَ نَسُوْا نِعَمَتَهُ فَلَمْ يُخْلِ شُكْرَهُ مِنْ قُلَوْبِهِمْ
Wa nasūā niʿamatahu falam yukhli shukrahu min qulawbihim
Him from their hearts;
Yeye kutoka katika nyoyo zao;
وَامْتَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلِ اسْمَهَ مَنْسِيًّا عِنْدَهُمْ
Wāmtanna ʿalayhim falam yajʿali asmaha mansiyyan ʿindahum
and He favored them when He did not make His Name forgotten by them.
na akawafadhilisha na hali hakulisahaulisha Jina lake kwao.
آَسْئَلَكَ بِحَقُّ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيّ
Āsʾalaka biḥaqqu muḥammadi bni ʿaliyy
I beseech You in the name of Muhammad, the son of 'Ali,
Ninakusihi kwa jina la Muhammad, mwana wa Ali,
عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ
ʿalayhimā as-salāmu
peace be upon both of them,
amani iwe juu yao wawili.
حُجَتِكَ الْبَالِغَةِ
Ḥujatika al-bālighati
You conclusive argument,
Wewe hoja ya mwisho,
وَ نِعْمَتِكَ السَّابِغَةِ
Wa niʿmatika as-sābighati
affluent grace,
neema tele,
وَ مَحَجَّتِكَ الْوَاضِحَةِ
Wa maḥajjatika al-wāḍiḥati
and patent course,
na kozi ya patent,
وَ أَقَدَّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىٰ حَوَائِجِىْ
Wa ʾaqaddamuhu bayna yadā ḥawāʾijiā
and I present him as my mediation for the settling of my needs, You may now mention your needs.
na ninamwasilisha kama upatanishi wangu kwa ajili ya kutatua mahitaji yangu, Unaweza sasa kutaja mahitaji yako.
