DUA KWA AJILI YA DKIDA CHA KUMI NA MOJA
Kida cha kumi na moja, ambacho huanzia muda kabla ya
kufifia kwa jua hadi wakati linapokuwa limefifia,
kimetakaswa kwa Imamu al-Hasan ibn Ali
al'Askari(a.s.). Dua kwa wakati huu ni kama ifuatavyo:
Sasa unaweza kutaja mahitaji yako.
يَا اَوَلًا بِلَا اَوَّلِيَّةٍ
Yā awalan bilā awwaliyyatin
O Foremost without having beginning!
Ewe Mwenye Kuwa Mbele bila mwanzo!
وَ أَخِرًا بِلَا أَخِرِيَّةٍ
Wa ʾakhiran bilā ʾakhiriyyatin
O Ultimate without having end!
Ewe Mwenye Kuwa Mwisho bila mwisho!
يَا قَيُّوْمًا بِلَا مُنْتَهَى لِقِدَمِهِ
Yā qayyūman bilā muntahā liqidamihi
O Self-Subsisting without there being termination of His eternity!
Ewe Msimamiaji bila mwisho wa uzee Wake!
يَا عَزِيْزًا بِلَا انْقِطَاعٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ
Yā ʿazīzan bilā anqiṭāʿin liʿizzatihi
O Almighty without cessation of His almightiness!
Ewe Mwenye Nguvu bila kukoma kwa Uweza Wake!
يَا مُتَسَلَّطًا بِلَا ضَعْفٍ مِنْ سُلْطَانِهِ
Yā mutasallaṭan bilā ḍaʿfin min sulṭānihi
O All-powerful without there being weak point in His overpowering!
Ewe Mtawala bila udhaifu katika utawala Wake!
يَا كَرِيْمًا بِدَوَامِ نِعْمَتِهِ
Yā karīman bidawāmi niʿmatihi
O All-generous along with perpetuity of His graces؟
Ewe Mkarimu kwa kudumu kwa neema Zake?
يَا جَبَّارًا وَ مُعِزًّا لِاوْلِيَائِهِ
Yā jabbāran wa muʿizzan liāwliyāʾihi
O Omnipotent and Dignifier of His intimate servants!
Ewe Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye kumpa heshima waja Wake wa karibu!
يَا خَبِيْرًا بِعِلْمِهِ
Yā khabīran biʿilmihi
O All-aware in His knowledge!
Ewe Mjuzi kwa ujuzi Wake!
يَا عَلِيْمًا بِقُدْرَتِهِ
Yā ʿalīman biqudratihi
O All-knowledgeable in His power!
Ewe Mwenye kujua yote kwa uwezo Wake!
يَا قَدِيْرًا بِذَاتِهِ
Yā qadīran bidhātihi
O Powerful in His Essence!
Ewe Mwenye uwezo kwa nafsi Yake!
اَسْتَلُكَ بِحَقَّ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيَّ
Astaluka biḥaqqa al-ḥasani bni ʿaliyya
beseech You in the name of al-Hasan, the son of 'Ali,
Nakuomba kwa haki ya Al-Hasan, mwana wa 'Ali,
عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ
ʿalayhimā as-salāmu
peace be upon both of them,
amani iwe juu yao wote wawili,
وَ أَقَدَّمُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىٰ حَوَائِجِى
Wa ʾaqaddamuhu bayna yadā ḥawāʾijiā
and I present him as my mediation for the settling of my needs,
na ninamtanguliza kama mpatanishi wangu kwa ajili ya kutatua mahitaji yangu,
