مروي عن الأئمة المعصومين عليهم السلام في كتب الأدعية المعتبرة.
Imam Ali(a.s.) is reported to have said: Put your hand on the ailed organ and repeat the following supplicatory prayer three times. Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) is reported to have said in this regard: You may put your hand on the ailed organ and say 'Bismillah', then rub the ailed organ with your hand and repeat the following evil-repelling prayer ('udhah) seven times.
Imam Ali (a.s.) anaripotiwa kusema: Weka mkono wako kwenye kiungo chenye maumivu na rudia dua ifuatayo mara tatu. Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) anaripotiwa kusema kuhusiana na hili: Unaweza kuweka mkono wako kwenye kiungo chenye maumivu na kusema 'Bismillah', kisha kusugua kiungo chenye maumivu kwa mkono wako na kurudia dua ifuatayo ya kuepusha shari ('udhah) mara saba.
اَللهُ اَللهُ اللهُ رَبِّى حَقًّا
Allāhu Allāhu Allāhu rabbiā ḥaqqan
Allah, Allah, Allah is my Lord indeed.
Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mola wangu kweli.
