DUA FOR SAFETY FROM ALL BEASTS, EVILS OF SATAN, THIEVES & DEMONS
Seventeenth: Al-Kulayni and al-Barqi have reported through valid chains of authority that Imam al-Sadiq and Imam al-Kazim (a.s.) said: When evening falls and you look at the sun setting and falling, you may say the following words, because they secure you from all beasts, from the evils of Satan the accursed and his offspring, from whatever bites and stings, and from thieves and demons:
Eighteenth: Al-Kulayni has reported through a valid chain of authority that Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) said: Whoever prays Almighty Allah with this supplicatory prayer in the morning will not be afflicted by any harm on that day, and whoever says it in the evening will not be afflicted by any harm at that night, Allah willing:
Nineteenth: Al-Kulayni has reported through a semi-authentic chain of authority that a man came to Imam al-Sadiq(a.s.) and asked him to teach him a supplicatory prayer he would say every morning and evening. The Imam (a.s.) therefore instructed him to say the following:
Twentieth: In the book of al-Balad al-Amin, the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) is reported to have said: Whoever repeats this saying (composed of Quranic verses) seven times in the morning, Almighty Allah will save him that whole day:
DUA YA ULINZI KUTOKANA NA WANYAMA WOTE WAKALI, MAOVU YA SHETANI, WEZI & MAJINI
Kumi na Saba: Al-Kulayni na al-Barqi wameripoti kupitia minyororo halali ya mamlaka kwamba Imam al-Sadiq na Imam al-Kazim (a.s.) walisema: Jioni inapoingia na ukiangalia jua likichwa na kutua, unaweza kusema maneno yafuatayo, kwa sababu yatakulinda kutokana na wanyama wote wakali, kutokana na maovu ya Shetani aliyelaaniwa na vizazi vyake, kutokana na chochote kinachouma na kuuma, na kutokana na wezi na majini:
Kumi na Nane: Al-Kulayni amepokea kupitia mnyororo halali wa mamlaka kwamba Imam al-Baqir (a.s.) alisema: Yeyote atakayemwomba Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu kwa dua hii asubuhi hatapatwa na madhara yoyote siku hiyo, na yeyote atakayeisema jioni hatapatwa na madhara yoyote usiku huo, Inshallah:
Kumi na Tisa: Al-Kulayni amepokea kupitia mnyororo wenye nguvu kiasi wa mamlaka kwamba mtu mmoja alimjia Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) na kumuomba amfundishe dua ambayo angesema kila asubuhi na jioni. Kwa hivyo Imam (a.s.) alimwagiza aseme yafuatayo:
Ishirini: Katika kitabu cha al-Balad al-Amin, Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) ameripotiwa kusema: Yeyote atakayerudia kauli hii (iliyoundwa na aya za Qur'ani) mara saba asubuhi, Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu atamwokoa siku nzima hiyo:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi Ar-Raḥmāni Ar-Raḥīm.
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذ وَلَدًا
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi Alladhī lam yattakhidh waladan
All praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son
Sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, ambaye hajajifanyia mtoto
وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيْكٌ فِى الْمُلْكِ
Wa lam yakun lahu sharīkun fil-mulki
and Who has not a partner in the kingdom,
Na ambaye hana mshirika katika ufalme,
وَالْحَمْدُللهِ الَّذِي يَصِفُ وَلَا يُوْصَفُ
Wal-ḥamdu lillāhi Alladhī yaṣifu wa lā yūṣafu
All praise be to Allah Who describes but He cannot be described
Na sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye Anaeleza lakini Hawezi kuelezeka
