Tenth: Al-Kaf'ami has reported that a man complained to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) about poverty, misery, and ailment. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) thus instructed him to repeat this supplicatory utterance ten times every morning and evening. As the man persevered in carrying out the Prophet's instruction for three days, he was saved from poverty and ailment. Shaykh al-Tusi and others mentioned the same supplicatory utterance to be said after the dawn (fajr) Prayers:
There is neither might nor power except with Allah.
I put my trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never dies.
All praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a wife or a son
and Who has not a partner in the kingdom,
and Who has not a helper to save Him from disgrace;
and magnify Him with all magnificence.
