Twenty-third: Also quoted from al-Mujtana, a man is reported to have seen the Holy Prophet (s) in dream and asked him to teach him a supplicatory prayer that would refresh his heart. Therefore, the Holy Prophet (s) taught him these words: The man commented, "When I repeated these words three times, Almighty Allah refreshed my heart."
Isimilia ishirini na tatu: Pia imesimuliwa kutoka al-Mujtana, mwanamume mmoja anaripotiwa kumuona Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.) katika ndoto na kumuomba amfundishe dua ambayo ingeufufua moyo wake. Kwa hivyo, Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.) alimfundisha maneno haya: Mwanamume huyo alitoa maoni, "Niliporudia maneno haya mara tatu, Mwenyezi Mungu Mwenye nguvu zote aliufufua moyo wangu."
يَا حَى دُ يَا قيُّوْمُ
Yā ḥā du yā qyyūmu
O Ever-living! O Self-subsisting!
Ewe Uliye Hai daima! Ewe Ujisimamia mwenyewe!
يَا لَا اِلْهَ إِلَّا اَنْتَ
Yā lā al-ha ʾillā anta
O He save Whom there is no god!
Ewe Ambaye hakuna mungu ila Wewe!
اَساَلُكَ اَنْ تُخِيِىَ قَلْبِى
Asāluka an tukhiyiā qalbiā
I beseech You to refresh my heart.
Nakuomba uipe uhai mpya moyo wangu.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Allāhumma ṣall ʿalā muḥammadin wa ali muḥammadin
O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) mteremshie rehema Muhammad na Familia ya Muhammad.
