DUA FOR ISTIKHARAH FOM HOLY QURAN
It is worth mentioning that 'Allamah al-Majlisi has reported
from some books written by our scholars on the authority of
a book handwritten by Shaykh Yusuf al-'Uthmani on the
authority of a book handwritten by Ayatollah 'Allamah who
said that Imam al-Sadiq ('a) is reported to have said:
If you intend for Istikharah() from the Mighty Book (i.e. the
Holy Qur'an), you may say this supplicatory prayer:
You may then open the copy of the Holy Qur'an, count six
pages, count six lines of the seventh page, and see what is
DUA YA ISTIKHARAH KUTOKA KATIKA QUR'ANI TUKUFU. Inafaa kutaja kwamba 'Allamah al-Majlisi amenukuu kutoka katika vitabu kadhaa vilivyoandikwa na wanachuoni wetu kwa mamlaka ya kitabu kilichoandikwa kwa mkono na Shaykh Yusuf al-'Uthmani, kwa mamlaka ya kitabu kilichoandikwa kwa mkono na Ayatollah 'Allamah, ambaye alisema kuwa Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) amenukuliwa akisema: Ikiwa unakusudia kufanya Istikharah kutoka katika Kitabu Kitukufu (yaani Qur'ani Tukufu), unaweza kusema dua hii: Kisha unaweza kufungua nakala ya Qur'ani Tukufu, uhesabu kurasa sita, uhesabu mistari sita ya ukurasa wa saba, na uone kile kilichomo.
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye kurehemu.
