Fadhila, maelezo, na njia ya usomaji wa DUA WAKATI WA KULALA NA WAKATI WA KUAMKA kama ilivyopokelewa katika mapokezi ya Shia.
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الْذِى عَلَا فَقَهَرَ
Al-ḥamdu lillāhi adh-dhiā ʿalā faqahara
All praise be to Allah Who has exalted, thus dominated.
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ametukuka, hivyo ametawala.
وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي بَطَنَ فَخَبَرَ
Wālḥamdu lillāhi adh-dhī baṭana fakhabara
All praise be to Allah Who has been immanent, thus known all things.
Sifa njema zote njema anastahiki Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye amepita, na kila kitu kinajulikana.
وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ الْذِي مَلَكَ فَقَدَرَ
Wālḥamdu lillāhi adh-dhī malaka faqadara
All praise be to Allah Who has owned all things, thus had power over them all.
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye ni Mmiliki wa kila kitu, na hivyo alikuwa na uweza juu ya vyote.
وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي يُخِيِن الْمَوْتىَ
Wālḥamdu lillāhi adh-dhī yukhiyin al-mawtā
All praise be to Allah Who gives life to the dead,
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye huwahuisha wafu.
وَ يُمِيْتُ الْاخيَاءَ
Wa yumītu al-ākhyāʾa
causes the living to die,
husababisha walio hai kufa,
وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَءِ قَدِيْرٌ.
Wa huwa ʿalā kulli shaʾi qadīrun.
and He has power over all things.
na Yeye ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
بِسْمِ اللّهِ
Bismi Allāhi
In the Name of Allah.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu.
أَمَنْتُ بِاللهِ
ʾamantu biāllhi
I believe in Allah
Ninamuamini Mwenyezi Mungu
وَ كَفَرْتُ بِالطَّاغُوْتِ
Wa kafartu biālṭṭāghūti
and disavow the false deity.
na kumkataa mungu wa uwongo.
اَللَّهُمَّ اخْفَظُنِى فِى مَنَامِن وَفِى يَقَظَتِىْ.
Allāhumma akhfaẓuniā fiā manāmin wafiā yaqaẓatiā.
O Allah, (please) safeguard me in my sleep and in my waking.
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) nihifadhi katika usingizi wangu na katika kuamka kwangu.
اَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ
Aʿūdhu biʿizzati Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's almightiness,
Naomba ulinzi wa Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللّهِ
Wa aʿūdhu biqudrati Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's omnipotence,
Naomba ulinzi wa Mwenyezi Mungu muweza wa yote,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu bijalāli Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's majesty,
Naomba ulinzi wa utukufu wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعْوْذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللهِ
Wa aʿwdhu bisulṭāni Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's authority,
Naomba ulinzi wa mamlaka ya Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِجَمَالِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu bijamāli Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's beauty,
Naomba ulinzi wa uzuri wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِدَفْعِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu bidafʿi Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's defense,
Naomba ulinzi wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِمَنْعِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu bimanʿi Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's guard,
Naomba ulinzi wa walinzi wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِجَمْعِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu bijamʿi Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's wholeness,
Naomba ulinzi wa utimilifu wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِمُلْكِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu bimulki Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's control,
Naomba ulinzi wa udhibiti wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu biwajhi Allāhi
I pray the protection of Allah's face,
Naomba ulinzi wa uso wa Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَ اَعُوْذُ بِرَسُوْلِ اللهِ
Wa aʿūdhu birasūli Allāhi
and I pray the protection of Allah's Messenger,
na ninaomba ulinzi wa Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu.
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ أَلِهِ
Ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa ʾalihi
may Allah bless him and his Household,
Mwenyezi Mungu ambariki yeye na Aali zake.
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَ بَرَءَ وَ ذَرَءَ.
Min sharri mā khalaqa wa baraʾa wa dharaʾa.
against the evil of whatever He has created, originated, and made.
dhidi ya ubaya wa chochote alichokiumba, kukianzisha, na kukifanya.
اَللَّهُمَّ لَاتُؤْمِنِّى مَكْرَكَ
Allāhumma lātuʾminniā makraka
O Allah, (please) do not make me feel secure against Your plans,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) usinifanye nijihisi salama dhidi ya mipango yako.
وَلَا تُنْسِنْن ذِكْرَكَ
Walā tunsinn dhikraka
do not make me forget remembrance of You,
usinifanye nisahau kukukumbuka Wewe,
وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِن مِنَ الْغَافِلِيْنَ
Walā tajʿalnin mina al-ghāfilīna
and do not include me with the inattentive ones.
wala msinijumuishe pamoja na walioghafilika.
اَقَوْمُ سَاعَةً كَذَا وَ كَذَا.
Aqawmu sāʿatan kadhā wa kadhā.
I may wake up at...
Naweza kuamka saa...
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ النَّبِيْيِّنَ
Subḥāna Allāhi rabbi an-nabīyyina
All glory be to Allah the Lord of the prophets,
Ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu Mola Mlezi wa Mitume.
وَ اِلْهِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
Wa al-hi al-mursalīna
the God of the messengers,
Mungu wa wajumbe,
وَ رَبِّ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِيْنَ
Wa rabbi al-mustaḍʿafīna
and the Lord of the enfeebled ones.
na Mola Mlezi wa walio dhaifu.
وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي يُخِيِى الْمَوْثَى
Wālḥamdu lillāhi adh-dhī yukhiyiā al-mawthā
All praise be to Allah Who gives life to the dead
Sifa njema zote ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye huwahuisha wafu
وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلَّشَءِ قَدِيْرٌ
Wa huwa ʿalā kullashaʾi qadīrun
and He has power over all things.
na Yeye ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
اَللَّهُمَّ آَعِنَّى عَلَى هَوْلِ الْمُطَّلَعِ
Allāhumma āʿinnā ʿalā hawli al-muṭṭalaʿi
O Allah, help me stand the horror of the after-death scene,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nisaidie kustahimili utisho wa tukio la baada ya kifo.
وَ وَسِّغ عَلَىَّ ضِيْقَ الْمَضْجَعِ
Wa wassigh ʿalā ḍīqa al-maḍjaʿi
expand for me the narrow abode,
nipanulie makao nyembamba.
وَازْزُقْنِىْ خَيْرَ مَا قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ
Wāzzuqniā khayra mā qabla al-mawti
provide me with the welfare of what is before death,
niruzuku yale yaliyo kabla ya kufa.
وَاززُقْنِىْ خَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ.
Wāzzuqniā khayra mā baʿda al-mawti.
and provide me with the welfare of what is after death.
na niruzuku yale yatakayo kuwa baada ya kufa.
