DUA AL NOOR
The Supplication of the Light.
In Muhaj al-Da'awat, Sayyid Ibn Tawus has mentioned a
narration quoting Salman as saying, "Lady Fatimah al-
Zahra'(a.s.) conveyed to me some words that she had learnt
from the Holy Messenger (s.a.w.a.) and she used to repeat
them each morning and evening. Moreover, she said that if
you would like not to be afflicted by the harm of fever as long
as you live in this world, you may say this supplicatory prayer
regularly:
DUA AL NOOR
Dua ya Nuru.
Katika kitabu cha Muhaj al-Da'awat, Sayyid Ibn Tawus ametaja simulizi inayomnukuu Salman akisema, "Bibi Fatimah al-Zahra'(a.s.) alinisomea maneno aliyojifunza kutoka kwa Mtukufu Mtume (s.a.w.a.) na alikuwa akiyarudia kila asubuhi na jioni. Zaidi ya hayo, alisema kwamba ikiwa hutaki kusumbuliwa na madhara ya homa maadamu unaishi katika dunia hii, unaweza kusoma dua hii mara kwa mara:"
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīm.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
بِسْمِ اللهِ النّوْرِ
Bismillāhil-Nūr.
In the name of Allah, the Light.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Nuru.
بِسْمِ اللهِ نُوْرِ النُّوْرِ
Bismillāhi Nūrin-Nūr.
In the name of Allah, the Light of Lights.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Nuru ya Nuru.
بِسْمِ اللهِ نُوْرٌ عَلَى نُوْرٍ
Bismillāhi Nūrun 'alā Nūr.
In the name of Allah, Light upon Light.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Nuru juu ya Nuru.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الْذِيٰ هُوَ مُدَبِّرُ الْأُمُوْرِ
Bismillāhil-ladhī Huwa Mudabbirul-Umūr.
In the name of Allah, Who is the Director of all affairs.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Ambaye Yeye ndiye Msimamizi wa mambo yote.
