مروي عن الأئمة المعصومين عليهم السلام في كتب الأدعية المعتبرة.
The Supplication of Imam al-Mahdi(a.s.): Al-Kaf'ami, in al-Misbah, says "This is the supplicatory prayer of Imam al-Mahdi(a.s.):"
Dua ya Imam Al-Mahdi (a.s.): Al-Kaf'ami, katika Al-Misbah, anasema "Hii ni sala ya dua ya Imam Al-Mahdi (a.s.):"
اَللَهُمَّ ازْزُقْنَا تَوْفِيْقَ الطَّاعَةِ
Allāhumma azzuqnā tawfīqa aṭ-ṭāʿati
O Allah, (please do) grant us success to obey (You),
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, (tafadhali) turuzuku mafanikio ya kukutii Wewe,
وَ بُعْدَ المَعْصِيَةِ
Wa buʿda al-maʿṣiyati
remoteness from disobedience (to You),
na umbali kutoka katika kukuasi Wewe,
وَ صِدْقَ النِّيَّةِ
Wa ṣidqa an-niyyati
true intention,
na nia ya kweli,
وَ عِزْفَانَ الْحُرْمَةِ
Wa ʿizfāna al-ḥurmati
and identification of sanctity.
na utambuzi wa utakatifu.
وَ اَكْرِمْنَا بِالْهُدَى وَ الْاِسْتِقَامَةِ
Wa akrimnā biālhudā wa al-āstiqāmati
(Please do) honor us with true guidance and straightforwardness,
(Tafadhali) tutukuze kwa uongofu wa kweli na unyoofu,
وَ سَدَّدْ اَلْسِنَتَنَا بِالصَّوَابِ وَ الْحِكْمَةِ
Wa saddad as-sinatanā biālṣṣawābi wa al-ḥikmati
dedicate our tongues to truth and wisdom,
na uzifanye ndimi zetu ziwe za ukweli na hekima,
وَ امْلَأ قُلُوْبَنَا بِالْعِلْمِ وَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ
Wa amlaʾ qulūbanā biālʿilmi wa al-maʿrifati
fill our hearts with knowledge and learning,
na uzijaze nyoyo zetu elimu na maarifa,
وَ طَهَّرْ بُطُوْنَنَا مِنَ الْحَرَامِ وَ الشُّبْهَةِ
Wa ṭahhar buṭūnanā mina al-ḥarāmi wa ash-shubhati
purify our stomachs from illegally and suspiciously gotten food,
na uzitakase matumbo yetu kutokana na haramu na vitu vya shaka,
وَ اكْفُفْ اَيْدِيَنَا عَنِ الظَّلْمِ وَ السَّرِقَةِ
Wa akfuf aydiyanā ʿani aẓ-ẓalmi wa as-sariqati
withhold our hands from oppression and larceny,
na uzizuie mikono yetu kutokana na dhulma na wizi,
وَ اغْضُضْ اَبْصَارَنَا عَنِ الْفُجُوْرِ وَ الْخِيَانَةِ
Wa aghḍuḍ abṣāranā ʿani al-fujūri wa al-khiyānati
turn our sights away from licentiousness and treachery,
na uzigeuze macho yetu mbali na uasherati na usaliti,
وَ اسْدُدْ اَسْمَاعَنَا عَنِ اللَّغْوِ وَ الْغِيْبَةِ
Wa asdud asmāʿanā ʿani al-laghwi wa al-ghībati
and block our hearings against vainness and backbiting,
na uzizuie masikio yetu dhidi ya upuuzi na usengenyo,
وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَى عُلَمَائِنَا بِالزُّهْدِ وَ النَّصِيْحَةِ
Wa tafaḍḍal ʿalā ʿulamāʾinā biālzzuhdi wa an-naṣīḥati
confer upon our scholars with asceticism and advice,
na uwape wanazuoni wetu zuhudi na nasaha,
وَ عَلَى الْمُتَعَلِّمِينَ بِالْجُهْدِ وَ الرَّغْبَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-mutaʿallimīna biāljuhdi wa ar-raghbati
upon the learners with hard work and desire (to learning),
na wanafunzi kwa bidii na hamu (ya kujifunza),
وَ عَلَى الْمُسْتَمِعِيْنَ بِالْإِتِّبَاعِ وَ الْمَوْعِظَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-mustamiʿīna biālʾittibāʿi wa al-mawʿiẓati
upon the listeners with following and learning (lessons),
na wasikilizaji kwa kufuata na kujifunza (masomo),
وَ عَلَى مَرْضَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِالشَّفَاءِ وَ الرَّاحَةِ
Wa ʿalā marḍā al-muslimīna biālsshafāʾi wa ar-rāḥati
upon the Muslim patients with cure and comfort,
na wagonjwa wa Kiislamu kwa uponyaji na faraja,
وَ عَلَى مَوْتَاهُمْ بِالرَّأْفَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ،
Wa ʿalā mawtāhum biālrraʾfati wa ar-raḥmati,
upon the dead Muslims with kindness and mercy,
na Waislamu waliokufa kwa huruma na rehema,
وَ عَلَى مَشَائِخِنَا بِالْوَقَارِ وَ السَّكِيْنَةِ
Wa ʿalā mashāʾikhinā biālwaqāri wa as-sakīnati
upon our aged people with somberness and gentleness,
na wazee wetu kwa utulivu na upole,
وَ عَلَى الشَّبَابِ بِالْإِنَابَةِ وَ التَّوْبَةِ
Wa ʿalā ash-shabābi biālʾinābati wa at-tawbati
upon the youths with turning (to You) and repentance,
na vijana kwa kurejea (Kwako) na toba,
وَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِالْحَيَاءِ وَ الْعِفَّةِ
Wa ʿalā an-nisāʾi biālḥayāʾi wa al-ʿiffati
upon the women with shyness and chastity,
na wanawake kwa haya na usafi,
وَ عَلَى الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِالتَّوَاضُعِ وَ السَّعَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-ʾaghniyāʾi biālttawāḍuʿi wa as-saʿati
upon the rich with modesty and ample giving,
na matajiri kwa unyenyekevu na utoaji mwingi,
وَ عَلَى الْفُقَرَاءِ بِالصَّبْرِ وَ الْقَنَاعَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-fuqarāʾi biālṣṣabri wa al-qanāʿati
upon the poor with patience and satisfaction,
na maskini kwa subira na kutosheka,
وَ عَلَى الْغُزَاةِ بِالنَّصْرِ وَ الْغَلَبَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-ghuzāti biālnnaṣri wa al-ghalabati
upon the warriors with triumph and supremacy,
na wapiganaji kwa ushindi na ukuu,
وَ عَلَى الْأُسَرَاءِ بِالْخَلَاصِ وَ الرَّاحَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-ʾusarāʾi biālkhalāṣi wa ar-rāḥati
upon the prisoners with release and comfort,
na wafungwa kwa ukombozi na faraja,
وَ عَلَى الْأُمَرَاءِ بِالْعَدْلِ وَ الشَّفَقَةِ
Wa ʿalā al-ʾumarāʾi biālʿadli wa ash-shafaqati
upon the rulers with justice and sympathy,
na watawala kwa uadilifu na huruma,
وَ عَلَى الرَّعِيَّةِ بِالْإِنْصَافِ وَ حُسْنِ السِّيْرَةِ
Wa ʿalā ar-raʿiyyati biālʾinṣāfi wa ḥusni as-sīrati
and upon the subjects with impartiality and good behavior.
na raia kwa usawa na mwenendo mwema.
وَ بَارِكْ لِلْحُجَّاجِ وَ الزُّوَّارِ فِي الزَّادِ وَ النَّفَقَةِ
Wa bārik lilḥujjāji wa az-zuwwāri fī az-zādi wa an-nafaqati
(Please do) bless the pilgrims to Mecca and the visitors (of the tombs of the saints) with provision and expenditure,
(Tafadhali) wabariki mahujaji wa Makka na wageni (wa makaburi ya mawalii) kwa riziki na matumizi,
وَ اقْضِ مَا أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الْحَجِّ وَ الْعُمْرَةِ
Wa aqḍi mā ʾawjabta ʿalayhim mina al-ḥajji wa al-ʿumrati
and help them settle the Hajj and 'Umrah that You have made incumbent upon them,
na uwasaidie kutekeleza Hajj na Umra ambazo Umewafaradhia,
بِفَضْلِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
Bifaḍlika wa raḥmatika yaʾā arḥama ar-rāḥimīna.
in the name of Your grace and mercy, O most merciful of all those who show mercy!
kwa fadhila Zako na rehema Zako, Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wote wanaorehemu!
