Dua Al Ahd kama ilivyonukuliwa katika vitabu sahihi vya dua na mapokezi ya Maimamu Watakatifu ('a).
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismi Allāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ ٱلنُّورِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Allāhumma rabba an-nūri al-ʿaẓīmi
O Allah, Lord of the Mighty Light,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola wa Nuru Kuu,
وَرَبَّ ٱلْكُرْسِيِّ ٱلرَّفِيعِ
Warabba al-kursiyyi ar-rafīʿi
Lord of the Elevated Throne,
Mola wa Kiti cha Enzi Kilichoinuliwa,
وَرَبَّ ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
Warabba al-baḥri al-masjūri
Lord of the Overflowing Sea,
Mola wa Bahari Iliyojaa,
وَمُنْزِلَ ٱلتَّوْرَاةِ وَٱلإِنْجِيلِ وَٱلزَّبُورِ
Wamunzila at-tawrāti wālʾinjīli wālzzabūri
Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Psalms,
Mshusha Taurati, Injili, na Zaburi,
وَرَبَّ ٱلظِّلِّ وَٱلْحَرُورِ
Warabba aẓ-ẓilli wālḥarūri
Lord of Shade and of the Hot Sun,
Mola wa Kivuli na Joto Kali,
وَمُنْزِلَ ٱلْقُرْآنِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Wamunzila al-qurʾāni al-ʿaẓīmi
Revealer of the Great Qur'an,
Mshusha Qur'ani Tukufu,
وَرَبَّ ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةِ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
Warabba al-malāʾikati al-muqarrabīna
Lord of the Archangels brought near,
Mola wa Malaika waliokaribishwa,
وَٱلأَنْبِيَاءِ وَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wālʾanbiyāʾi wālmursalīna
and Lord of the Prophets and the Messengers,
na Mola wa Manabii na Mitume,
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِٱسْمِكَ ٱلْكَرِيـمِ
Allāhumma ʾinnī ʾasʾaluka biāsmika al-karīmi
O Allah, I ask You by Your Noble Name,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nakuomba kwa Jina Lako Tukufu,
وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ ٱلْمُنِيرِ
Wabinūri wajhika al-munīri
and by the Light of Your Shining Face,
na kwa Nuru ya Uso Wako Unaong'aa,
وَمُلْكِكَ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
Wamulkika al-qadīmi
and by Your Eternal Dominion,
na kwa Ufalme Wako wa Milele,
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
Yā ḥayyu yā qayyūmu
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting,
Ewe Aliye Hai Daima, Ewe Mwenye Kujisimamia Mwenyewe,
أَسْأَلُكَ بِٱسْمِكَ ٱلَّذِي أَشْرَقَتْ بِهِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتُ وَٱلأَرَضُونَ
ʾasʾaluka biāsmika adh-dhī ʾashraqat bihi as-samāwātu wālʾaraḍūna
I ask You by Your Name through which the heavens and the earth are illuminated,
Nakuomba kwa Jina Lako ambalo mbingu na ardhi ziliangaza,
وَبِٱسْمِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَصْلَحُ بِهِ ٱلأَوَّلُونَ وَٱلآخِرُونَ
Wabiāsmika adh-dhī yaṣlaḥu bihi al-ʾawwalūna wālʾākhirūna
and by Your Name through which the former and latter generations are set aright,
na kwa Jina Lako ambalo wa mwanzo na wa mwisho wanatengenezwa.
يَا حَيّاً قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ
Yā ḥayy qabla kulli ḥayyin
O Ever-Living before every living being,
Ewe Aliye Hai kabla ya kila kilicho hai,
وَيَا حَيّاً بَعْدَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ
Wayā ḥayy baʿda kulli ḥayyin
O Ever-Living after every living being,
Ewe Aliye Hai baada ya kila kilicho hai,
وَيَا حَيّاً حِينَ لا حَيُّ
Wayā ḥayy ḥīna lā ḥayyu
O Ever-Living when there is no other living being,
Ewe Aliye Hai wakati hakuna kiumbe hai yeyote,
يَا مُحْيِيَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَمُمِيتَ ٱلأَحْيَاءِ
Yā muḥyiya al-mawtā wamumīta al-ʾaḥyāʾi
O Giver of life to the dead and Causer of death to the living,
Ewe Mhuishaji wa wafu na Muwaji wa walio hai,
يَا حَيُّ لا إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Yā ḥayyu lā ʾilāha ʾilā ʾanta
O Ever-Living, there is no god but You,
Ewe Aliye Hai, hakuna mungu ila Wewe,
اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلاَنَا ٱلإِمَامَ ٱلْهَادِيَ ٱلْمَهْدِيَّ ٱلْقَائِمَ بِأَمْرِكَ
Allāhumma balligh mawlānā al-ʾimāma al-hādiya al-mahdiyya al-qāʾima biʾamrika
O Allah, convey to our master, the guiding Imam, al-Mahdi, who rises by Your command,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, mfikishie bwana wetu, Imamu mwongozaji, al-Mahdi, anayesimama kwa amri Yako,
صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آبَائِهِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ
Ṣalawātu Allāhi ʿalayhi waʿalā ābāʾihi aṭ-ṭāhirīna
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and upon his pure forefathers,
rahma za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na juu ya mababu zake watoharifu,
عَنْ جَمِيعِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
ʿan jamīʿi al-muʾminīna wālmuʾmināti
on behalf of all the believing men and women,
kwa niaba ya waumini wote wanaume na wanawake,
فِي مَشَارِقِ ٱلأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا
Fī mashāriqi al-ʾarḍi wamaghāribihā
in the East and the West of the earth,
katika mashariki na magharibi ya ardhi,
سَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا
Sahlihā wajabalihā
its plains and its mountains,
tambalale zake na milima yake,
وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا
Wabarrihā wabaḥrihā
And its land and its sea,
Na nchi yake na bahari yake,
وَعَنِّي وَعَنْ وَالِدَيَّ
Waʿannī waʿan wālidayya
And on behalf of myself and my parents,
Na kwa niaba yangu na wazazi wangu,
مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوَاتِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِ ٱللَّهِ
Mina aṣ-ṣalawāti zinata ʿarshi Allāhi
From the prayers equal to the weight of the Throne of Allah,
Kutoka kwa sala zinazolingana na uzito wa Arshi ya Mwenyezi Mungu,
وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Wamidāda kalimātihi
And the ink of His words,
Na wino wa maneno Yake,
وَمَا أَحْصَاهُ عِلْمُهُ وَأَحَاطَ بِهِ كِتَابُهُ
Wamā ʾaḥṣāhu ʿilmuhu waʾaḥāṭa bihi kitābuhu
And as much as His knowledge encompasses and His Book contains.
Na kadiri elimu Yake inavyohesabu na Kitabu Chake kinavyokihifadhi.
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُجَدِّدُ لَهُ فِي صَبِيحَةِ يَوْمِي هٰذَا
Allāhumma ʾinnī ʾujaddidu lahu fī ṣabīḥati yawmī hādhā
O Allah, indeed I renew for him on this morning of mine,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika ninamfanyia upya ahadi hii katika asubuhi ya siku yangu hii,
وَمَا عِشْتُ مِنْ أَيَّامِي
Wamā ʿishtu min ʾayyāmī
And for as long as I live of my days,
Na kwa muda wote nitakaoishi katika siku zangu,
عَهْداً وَعَقْداً وَبَيْعَةً لَهُ فِي عُنُقِي
ʿahd waʿaqd wabayʿatan lahu fī ʿunuqī
A covenant, a pledge, and an allegiance to him upon my neck,
Ahadi, mkataba na kiapo cha utii kwake shingoni mwangu,
لا أَحُولُ عنها وَلا أَزُولُ أَبَداً
Lā ʾaḥūlu ʿnhā walā ʾazūlu ʾabad
Which I shall never turn away from nor ever revoke,
Ambayo sitageuka wala sitajiondoa kamwe,
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَنْصَارِهِ
Allāhumma ajʿalnī min ʾanṣārihi
O Allah, make me among his helpers,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nifanye miongoni mwa wasaidizi wake,
وَأَعْوَانِهِ وَٱلذَّابِّينَ عَنْهُ
Waʾaʿwānihi wālddhābbīna ʿanhu
And his supporters, and those who defend him,
Na wasaidizi wake, na wanaomlinda,
وَٱلْمُسَارِعِينَ إِلَيْهِ فِي قَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِهِ
Wālmusāriʿīna ʾilayhi fī qaḍāʾi ḥawāʾijihi
And those who hasten to fulfill his needs,
Na wanaoharakisha kumtimizia mahitaji yake,
وَٱلْمُمْتَثِلِينَ لأَوَامِرِهِ
Wālmumtathilīna lʾawāmirihi
And those who comply with his commands,
Na wanaotekeleza amri zake,
وَٱلْمُحَامِينَ عَنْهُ
Wālmuḥāmīna ʿanhu
And those who protect him,
Na wanaomlinda,
وَٱلسَّابِقِينَ إِلَىٰ إِرَادَتِهِ
Wālssābiqīna ʾilā ʾirādatihi
And those who hasten to carry out his will,
Na wanaoharakisha kutekeleza matakwa yake,
وَٱلْمُسْتَشْهَدِينَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ
Wālmustashhadīna bayna yadayhi
And those who are martyred before him,
Na wanaoshuhudiwa wakiwa mbele yake,
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنْ حَالَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ ٱلْمَوْتُ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلْتَهُ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ حَتْماً مَقْضِيّاً
Allāhumma ʾin ḥāla baynī wabaynahu al-mawtu adh-dhī jaʿaltahu ʿalā ʿibādika ḥatm maqḍiyy
O Allah, if death, which You have made inevitable upon Your servants, comes between me and him,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, iwapo mauti ambayo umeifanya kuwa ni lazima kwa waja Wako itanizuia kati yangu na yeye,
فَأَخْرِجْنِي مِنْ قَبْرِي مُؤْتَزِراً كَفَنِي
Faʾakhrijnī min qabrī muʾtazir kafanī
Then raise me from my grave, shrouded in my burial cloth,
Basi nitoe kaburini mwangu, nikiwa nimefunikwa na sanda yangu,
شَاهِراً سَيْفِي
Shāhir sayfī
Unsheathing my sword,
Nikiwa nimechomoa upanga wangu,
مُجَرِّداً قَنَاتِي
Mujarrid qanātī
And brandishing my spear,
Na nikiwa nimeshika mkuki wangu wazi,
مُلَبِّياً دَعْوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِي فِي ٱلْحَاضِرِ وَٱلْبَادِي
Mulabbī daʿwata ad-dāʿī fī al-ḥāḍiri wālbādī
Responding to the call of the caller in the cities and the deserts,
Nikijibu mwito wa mwitajiji katika miji na nyikani,
اَللَّهُمَّ أَرِنِي ٱلطَّلْعَةَ ٱلرَّشِيدَةَ
Allāhumma ʾarinī aṭ-ṭalʿata ar-rashīdata
O Allah, show me the rightly-guided rising,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, nionyeshe sura ya kuongoza ipasavyo,
وَٱلْغُرَّةَ ٱلْحَمِيدَةَ
Wālghurrata al-ḥamīdata
And the praiseworthy bright countenance,
Na uso wenye kung’aa na wa kuhimidiwa,
وَٱكْحُلْ نَاظِرِي بِنَظْرَةٍ مِنِّي إِلَيْهِ
Wākḥul nāẓirī binaẓratin minnī ʾilayhi
And cool my eyes with a glance from me towards him.
Na fariji macho yangu kwa kunipa mtazamo wangu kwake.
وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُ
Waʿajjil farajahu
And hasten his relief,
Na uharakishe faraja yake,
وَسَهِّلْ مَخْرَجَهُ
Wasahhil makhrajahu
And ease his emergence,
Na urahisishe kutoka kwake,
وَأَوْسِعْ مَنْهَجَهُ
Waʾawsiʿ manhajahu
And expand his path,
Na upanue njia yake,
وَٱسْلُكْ بِي مَحَجَّتَهُ
Wāsluk bī maḥajjatahu
And set me upon his way,
Na uniweke katika njia yake,
وَأَنْفِذْ أَمْرَهُ
Waʾanfidh ʾamrahu
And make effective his command,
Na utekeleze amri yake,
وَٱشْدُدْ أَزْرَهُ
Wāshdud ʾazrahu
And strengthen his support,
Na uimarishe msaada wake,
وَٱعْمُرِ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِهِ بِلادَكَ
Wāʿmuri al-lahumma bihi bilādaka
And, O Allah, populate Your lands through him,
Na Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, uijaze ardhi Yako kwa baraka kupitia kwake,
وَأَحْيِ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ
Waʾaḥyi bihi ʿibādaka
And revive Your servants through him,
Na uhuisha waja Wako kupitia kwake,
فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَقَوْلُكَ ٱلْحَقُّ:
Faʾinnaka qulta waqawluka al-ḥaqqu:
For surely You have said, and Your Word is the truth:
Kwa hakika Wewe umesema, na kauli Yako ni kweli:
«ظَهَرَ ٱلْفَسَادُ فِي ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ
Ẓahara al-fasādu fī al-barri wālbaḥri
“Corruption has appeared on land and sea,
“Ufisadi umeonekana katika nchi kavu na baharini,
بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي ٱلنَّاسِ.»
Bimā kasabat ʾaydī an-nāsi.
Because of what the hands of men have earned.”
Kwa sababu ya yale mikono ya watu iliyo yafanya.”
فَأَظْهِرِ ٱللَّهُمَّ لَنَا وَلِيَّكَ
Faʾaẓhiri al-lahumma lanā waliyyaka
So manifest for us, O Allah, Your guardian,
Basi tuonyeshe Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, mlinzi Wako,
وَٱبْنَ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
Wābna binti nabiyyika
And the son of the daughter of Your Prophet,
Na mwana wa binti ya Nabii Wako,
ٱلْمُسَمَّىٰ بِٱسْمِ رَسُولِكَ
Al-musammā biāsmi rasūlika
Who is named with the name of Your Messenger,
Ambaye amepewa jina la Mtume Wako,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
Ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi waʾālihi
May Allah bless him and his family,
Swala na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na Ahlul-Bayt wake,
حَتَّىٰ لا يَظْفَرَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ ٱلْبَاطِلِ إِلاَّ مَزَّقَهُ
Ḥattā lā yaẓfara bishayʾin mina al-bāṭili ʾilā mazzaqahu
Until nothing of falsehood prevails except that he tears it apart,
Hadi hakuna upotovu utakao shinda ila yeye atauvunja,
وَيُحِقُّ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيُحَقِّقَهُ وَٱجْعَلْهُ
Wayuḥiqqu al-ḥaqqa wayuḥaqqiqahu wājʿalhu
And he establishes the truth and confirms it, and make him,
Na aidhinishe haki na aithibitishe, na umfanye,
ٱللَّهُمَّ مَفْزَعاً لِمَظْلُومِ عِبَادِكَ
Al-lahumma mafzaʿ limaẓlūmi ʿibādika
O Allah, a refuge for the oppressed among Your servants,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, kuwa kimbilio la waja Wako waliodhulumiwa,
وَنَاصِراً لِمَنْ لا يَجِدُ لَهُ نَاصِراً غَيْرَكَ
Wanāṣir liman lā yajidu lahu nāṣir ghayraka
And a helper for the one who finds no helper besides You,
Na msaidizi wa yule asiye na msaidizi ila Wewe,
وَمُجَدِّداً لِمَا عُطِّلَ مِنْ أَحْكَامِ كِتَابِكَ
Wamujaddid limā ʿuṭṭila min ʾaḥkāmi kitābika
And a reviver of what has been neglected of the rulings of Your Book,
Na mfufuaji wa yaliyopuuzwa miongoni mwa hukumu za Kitabu Chako,
وَمُشَيِّداً لِمَا وَرَدَ مِنْ أَعْلامِ دِينِكَ وَسُنَنِ نَبِيِّكَ
Wamushayyid limā warada min ʾaʿlāmi dīnika wasunani nabiyyika
And a restorer of the landmarks of Your religion and the traditions of Your Prophet,
Na mjengaji upya wa alama za dini Yako na Sunna za Nabii Wako,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِهِ وَٱجْعَلْهُ
Ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wʾālihi wājʿalhu
May Allah bless him and his family, and make him,
Swala na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na Ahlul-Bayt wake, na umfanye,
ٱللَّهُمَّ مِمَّنْ حَصَّنْتَهُ مِنْ بَأُسِ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
Al-lahumma mimman ḥaṣṣantahu min baʾusi al-muʿtadīna
O Allah, among those whom You have protected from the might of the aggressors,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, miongoni mwa wale uliowahifadhi kutokana na nguvu za madhalimu,
اَللَّهُمَّ وَسُرَّ نَبِيَّكَ مُحَمَّداً
Allāhumma wasurra nabiyyaka muḥammad
O Allah, and gladden Your Prophet Muhammad,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, na umfurahishe Nabii Wako Muhammad,
صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِهِ
Ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wʾālihi
May Allah bless him and his family,
Rehema za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na familia yake (Ahlul-Bayt).
بِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُ عَلَىٰ دَعْوَتِهِ
Biruʾyatihi waman tabiʿahu ʿalā daʿwatihi
By his (the Prophet’s) appearance and whoever follows him in his call,
Kwa kumuona kwake na yule ajaye kumfuata kwa wito wake.
وَٱرْحَمِ ٱسْتِكَانَتَنَا بَعْدَهُ
Wārḥami astikānatanā baʿdahu
And have mercy on our state/settling after him,
Na uhurumie hali yetu baada yake.
اَللَّهُمَّ ٱكْشِفْ هٰذِهِ ٱلْغُمَّةَ عَنْ هٰذِهِ ٱلأُمَّةِ بِحُضُورِهِ
Allāhumma akshif hādhihi al-ghummata ʿan hādhihi al-ʾummati biḥuḍūrihi
O Allah, remove this calamity from this Ummah through his presence,
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, ondoa taabu hii kutoka kwa umma huu kwa kuwepo kwake.
وَعَجِّلْ لَنَا ظُهُورَهُ
Waʿajjil lanā ẓuhūrahu
And hasten for us his reappearance,
Na uharakishe kwetu kuonekana kwake.
«إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيداً وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيباً.»
ʾinnahum yarawnahu baʿīd wanarāhu qarīb.
“Indeed they see him as distant, while We see him as near.”
“Hakika wao humwona kuwa mbali, na sisi humwona kuwa karibu.”
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ
Biraḥmatika yā ʾarḥama ar-rāḥimīna
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful,
Kwa rehema Zako, Ewe Mwingi wa Rehema.
You may then slap your right thigh with your hand three times and, at each time, say the following:
Baada yake unaweza kujipiga paja la kulia kwa mkono mara tatu, na kila mara useme yafuatayo:
الْعَجَلَ ٱلْعَجَلَ يَامَوْلايَ يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ
Al-ʿajala al-ʿajala yāmawlāya yā ṣāḥiba az-zamāni
“Hasten, hasten — O my Master, O Owner of the Time.”
“Harakisha, harakisha — ewe Mola wangu, Ewe Mmiliki wa Zama.”
