ذكر السيد ابن طاووس في كتابه مصباح الزائر هذا الدعاء ليقرأ مباشرة بعد الزيارة الجامعة المذكورة سابقاً والمعروفة بزيارة أئمة المؤمنين:
Sayyid Ibn Tawus, in his book of Misbah al-Za'ir, has mentioned this supplicatory prayer to be said directly after the previously cited comprehensive form of ziyarah that is known as Ziyarah of the Imams of the Believers:
Sayyid Ibn Tawus, katika kitabu chake cha Misbah al-Za'ir, ametaja ombi hili la dua lisemwe mara baada ya namna ya ziyarah pana iliyotajwa hapo awali ambayo inajulikana kama Ziyarah ya Maimamu wa Waumini:
ʾalllahumma ʾinnī zurtu hadhā al-ʾimāma muqirran biʾimāmatihi muʿtaqidan lifarḍi ṭāʿatihi faqaṣadtu mashhadahu bidhunūbī wa ʿuyūbī wa mūbiqāti āthāmī wa kathrati sayyiʾātī wa khaṭāyāya wa mā taʿrifuhu minnī mustajīran biʿafwika mustaʿīdhan biḥilmika rājiyan raḥmataka lājiʾan ʾilā ruknika ʿāʾidhan biraʾfatika mustashfiʿan biwaliyyika wa abni ʾawliyāʾika wa ṣafiyyika wa abni ʾaṣfiyāʾika wa ʾamīnika wa abni ʾumanāʾika wa khalīfatika wa abni khulafāʾika adh-dhīna jaʿaltahumu al-wasīlata ʾilā raḥmatika wa riḍwānika wa adh-dharīʿata ʾilā raʾfatika wa ghufrānika
O Allah, I am visiting this Imam confessing his Imamate and believing in the obligation of the obedience to him; therefore, I have betaken myself to his shrine in spite of all of my sins, defects, the perils of my wrongdoings, my numerous misdeeds and faults, and whatsoever You know about me; taking shelter in Your amnesty, seeking refuge of Your forbearance, hoping for Your mercy, resorting to Your asylum, seeking the protection of Your compassion, seeking the intercession of Your vicegerent and the son of Your vicegerent, Your choicest servant and the son of Your choicest servants, Your trustee and the son of Your trustees, and Your representative and the son of Your representatives, whom You have made the means to approach Your mercy and pleasure and the channels to Your compassion and forgiveness.
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika ninamtembelea Imamu huyu nikikiri uongozi wake na kuamini wajibu wa kumtii; kwa hiyo, nimejileta kwenye eneo lake takatifu pamoja na madhambi yangu yote, mapungufu yangu, hatari za makosa yangu, makosa na makosa yangu mengi, na kila unachokijua kuhusu mimi; nikitafuta hifadhi katika msamaha Wako, nikikimbilia uvumilivu Wako, nikitumaini rehema Yako, nikikimbilia kimbilio Lako, nikitafuta ulinzi wa huruma Yako, nikitafuta uombezi wa makamu Wako na mtoto wa makamu Wako, mja Wako mteule na mtoto wa waja Wako wateule, mwaminifu Wako na mtoto wa waaminifu Wako, na mwakilishi Wako na mtoto wa wawakilishi Wako, ambao Umejalia kuwa njia ya kufikia rehema Yako na radhi Yako na njia ya huruma Yako na msamaha Wako.
Allāhumma wa ʾawwalu ḥājatī ʾilayka ʾan taghfira lī mā salafa min dhunūbī ʿalā kathratihā wa ʾan taʿṣimanī fīmā baqiya min ʿumrī wa tuṭahhira dīnī mimmā yudannisuhu wa yashīnuhu wa yuzrī bihi wa taḥmiyahu mina ar-raybi wa ash-shakki wa al-fasādi wa ash-shirki, wa tuthabbitanī ʿalā ṭāʿatika wa ṭāʿati rasūlika wa dhurriyyatihi an-nujabāʾi as-suʿadāʾi ṣalawātuka ʿalayhim wa raḥmatuka wa salāmuka wa barakātuka
O Allah, my first need from You is that I implore You to forgive all of my previous sins although they are numerous, to protect me (against sinning) in my coming lifetime, to purify my religion from whatsoever stains, disgraces, or degrades it, to save it from suspect, doubt, corruption, and blasphemy, to make me stand firm on the obedience to You, to Your Messenger, and to his Progeny the pure and happy, may Your blessings be upon them as well as Your mercy, peace, and favors,
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, hitaji langu la kwanza Kwako ni kwamba nakuomba Unisamehe madhambi yangu yote yaliyopita ingawa ni mengi, Unilinde (dhidi ya kutenda dhambi) katika maisha yangu yajayo, Utakase dini yangu kutokana na madoa yoyote, aibu, au kile kinachoishushia hadhi, Uniokoe kutokana na shaka, wasiwasi, uharibifu, na kufuru, Unifanye nisimame imara katika kukutii Wewe, Mtume Wako, na Kizazi chake kitakatifu na chenye furaha, rehema Zako ziwe juu yao pamoja na huruma Yako, amani, na fadhila Zako,
Wa tuḥyiyanī mā ʾaḥyaytanī ʿalā ṭāʿatihim wa tumītanī ʾidhā ʾamattanī ʿalā ṭāʿatihim wa ʾan lā tamḥuwa min qalbī mawaddatahum wa maḥabbatahum wa bughḍa ʾaʿdāʾihim wa murāfaqata ʾawliyāʾihim wa birrahum
to make me live as long as You grant me life on the obedience to them, to make me die, when You decide so, on the obedience to them, and not to erase from my heart my love and affection for them, my aversion to their enemies, my companionship of their adherents, and my acting piously towards them.
Unijaalie niishi maadamu Unanipa uhai katika kuwatii wao, Unifanye nife, Utapoamua hivyo, katika kuwatii wao, na Usiondoe moyoni mwangu mapenzi yangu na mahaba yangu kwao, chuki yangu kwa maadui zao, ushirikiano wangu na wafuasi wao, na kutenda kwangu wema kwao.
Wa ʾasʾaluka yā rabbi ʾan taqbala dhalika minnī wa tuḥabbiba ʾilayya ʿibādataka wa al-muwāẓabata ʿalayhā wa tunasshiṭanī lahā wa tubagghiḍa ʾilayya maʿāṣiyaka wa maḥārimaka wa tadfaʿanī ʿanhā wa tujannibanī at-taqṣīra fī ṣalawātī wa al-āstihānata bihā wa at-tarākhiya ʿanhā wa tuwaffiqanī litaʾdiyatihā kamā faraḍta wa ʾamarta bihi ʿalā sunnati rasūlika ṣalawātuka ʿalayhi wa ālihi wa raḥmatuka wa barakātuka khuḍūʿan wa khushūʿan
I also beseech You, O my Lord, to accept all that from me, to endear my worshipping You to myself, to endue me with perseverance in worship, to make me active in it, to make me loathe acts of disobedience to You and acts that You deemed forbidden, to take me away from these acts, to save me against negligence of my prayers, belittling them, and slackening in their performance, to lead me to perform them as perfect as You have made incumbent upon me and as You have commanded according to the traditions of Your Messenger, may Your blessings be upon him and his Household as well as Your mercy and favors, with submission and reverence,
Pia nakuomba, Ewe Mola wangu, Unikubalie hayo yote kutoka kwangu, Unifanye nipende kukuabudu Wewe, Unipe uvumilivu katika ibada, Unifanye niwe hai ndani yake, Unifanye nichukie matendo ya kukuasi Wewe na matendo Uliyoyaharamisha, Uniepushe na matendo hayo, Unilinde dhidi ya kupuuza swala zangu, kuzidharau, na kulegea katika kuzitekeleza, Uniongoze kuzitekeleza kwa ukamilifu kama Ulivyofanya kuwa wajibu juu yangu na kama Ulivyoamuru kwa mujibu wa mila ya Mtume Wako, rehema Zako ziwe juu yake na Ahlul-Bayt wake pamoja na huruma Yako na fadhila Zako, kwa unyenyekevu na hofu,
Wa tashraḥa ṣadrī liʾītāʾi az-zakāti, wa ʾiʿṭāʾi aṣ-ṣadaqāti wa badhli al-maʿrūfi wa al-ʾiḥsāni ʾilā shīʿati āli muḥammadin ʿalayhimu as-salāmu wa muwāsātihim wa lā tatawaffānī ʾillā baʿda ʾan tarzuqanī ḥajja baytika al-ḥarāmi wa ziyārata qabri nabiyyika wa qubūri al-ʾaʾimmati ʿalayhimu as-salāmu wa ʾasʾaluka yā rabbi tawbatan naṣūḥan tarḍāhā wa niyyatan taḥmaduhā wa ʿamalan ṣāliḥan taqbaluhu
to expand my breast for defraying the poor-rate, giving alms, giving charity, and doing favors to the adherents of the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon them, and for consoling them. Do not take me up (i.e. cause me to die) before You bestow upon me with the favor of going on pilgrimage to Your Sacred House and to the tomb of Your Prophet and the tombs of the Imams, peace be upon them. I also beseech You, O Lord, to grant me a sincere repentance that You accept, an intention that You praise, and righteous deed that You admit,
Ufungue kifua changu kwa ajili ya kutoa zaka, kutoa sadaka, kutenda mema, na kuwafanyia fadhila wafuasi wa Ahlul-Bayt wa Muhammad, amani iwe juu yao, na kuwafariji. Wa ʾan taghfira lī wa tarḥamanī ʾidhā tawaffaytanī wa tuhawwina ʿalā sakarāti al-mawti wa takhshuranī fī zumrati muḥammadin wa ālihi ṣalawātu Allāhi ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhim wa tudkhilanī al-jannata biraḥmatika wa tajʿala damʿī ghazīran fī ṭāʿatika wa ʿabratī jāriyatan fīmā yuqarribunī minka wa qalbī ʿaṭūfan ʿalā ʾawliyāʾika wa taṣūnanī fī hadhihi ad-dunyā mina al-ʿāhāti wa al-āfāti wa al-ʾamrāḍi ash-shadīdati, wa al-ʾasqāmi al-muzminati wa jamīʿi ʾanwāʿi al-balāʾi wa al-ḥawādithi
to forgive me and have mercy upon me when You take me up, to make easy for me the agonies of death, to include me with the group of Muhammad and his Household, peace of Allah be upon him and them, to allow me to enter Paradise out of Your mercy, to make me shed heavy tears as obeisance to You, to make my tears always run down in acts that draw me near You, to make my heart sympathetic towards Your intimate servants, to save me in this worldly life from handicaps, epidemics, incurable diseases, chronic illnesses, and all sorts of misfortunes and catastrophes.
Unisamehe na Unirehemu Utaponichukua, Unifanyie wepesi machungu ya mauti, Unijumuishe pamoja na kundi la Muhammad na Ahlul-Bayt wake, amani ya Mwenyezi Mungu iwe juu yake na juu yao, Uniruhusu kuingia Peponi kwa rehema Yako, Unijaalie nimwage machozi mengi kwa kuktii Wewe, machozi yangu yatiririke daima katika matendo yanayonikurubisha Kwako, Unifanye moyo wangu uwe na huruma kwa waja Wako wa karibu, Unilinde katika maisha haya ya dunia dhidi ya ulemavu, magonjwa ya mlipuko, magonjwa yasiyotibika, magonjwa ya muda mrefu, na kila aina ya maafa na mikosi.
Wa taṣrifa qalbī ʿani al-ḥarāmi wa tubagghiḍa ʾilayya maʿāṣiyaka wa tuḥabbiba ʾilayya al-ḥalāla wa taftaḥa lī ʾabwābahu wa tuthabbita niyyatī wa fiʿliā ʿalayhi wa tamudda fī ʿumrī wa tughliqa ʾabwāba al-miḥani ʿannī wa lā taslubnī mā mananta bihi ʿalā wa lā tastaridda shayʾan mimmā ʾaḥsanta bihi ʾilā wa lā tanziʿa minnay an-naʿama at-tī ʾanʿamta bihā ʿalā wa tazīda fīmā khawwaltanī wa tuḍāʿifahu ʾaḍʿāfan muḍāʿafatan wa tarzuqanī mālan kathīran wāsiʿan sāʾighan hanīʾan nāmiyan wāfiyan wa ʿizzan bāqiyan kāfiyan wa jāhan ʿarīḍan manīʿan wa niʿmatan sābighatan ʿāmmatan wa tughniyanī bidhalika ʿani al-maṭālibi al-munakkadati wa al-mawāridi aṣ-ṣaʿbati wa tukhalliṣanī minhā muʿāfanā fī dīnī wa nafsī wa waladī wa mā ʾaʿṭaytanī wa manaḥtanī
[I also beseech You to] cause my heart to turn away from the forbidden (acts and things), make me hate acts of disobedience to You, make me love the legally gotten sustenance open its doors before me, make firm my intention and my deeds on it, extend my lifetime, and close the doors of adversaries before me. (Please) do not deprive me of whatsoever You have favored upon me, do not take back from me the graces that You have granted me, do not strip me of the elegances that You have conferred upon me; [rather, please] increase that which You have authorized me to possess, expand it many folds for me, and provide me with fortune that is very much, spacious, agreeable, joyful, growing, and satisfactory, and with dignity that is everlasting and sufficient, and with prestige that is outgoing and overwhelming, and with bounty that is flowing and broad. Through all that, (please) make me dispense with the humiliating appeals and unreachable sources, save me from them with good health as regards my religion, self, sons, and whatsoever You have given and granted me,
Unigeuze moyo wangu uepukane na yaliyoharamishwa (matendo na vitu), Unifanye nichukie matendo ya kukuasi Wewe, Unifanye nipende riziki ya halali iliyopatikana na Ufungue milango yake mbele yangu, Imarisha nia yangu na matendo yangu juu yake, Urefushe umri wangu, na Ufunge milango ya maadui mbele yangu. Tafadhali Usininyime chochote Ulichonifadhili, Usininyime neema Zako Ulizonijalia, Usinivue baraka Zako Ulizonipa; badala yake, tafadhali Zidisha kile Ulichoniruhusu kukimiliki, Kikuze mara nyingi kwa ajili yangu, na Unipe riziki iliyo nyingi, pana, ya kupendeza, yenye furaha, yenye kukua, na ya kuridhisha, na kwa heshima yenye kudumu na ya kutosha, na kwa hadhi yenye kuenea na yenye nguvu, na kwa baraka zenye kutiririka na pana. Kupitia yote hayo, tafadhali Unifanye nijitosheleze bila kuomba kwa unyonge na vyanzo visivyofikiwa, Uniepushe navyo kwa afya njema kuhusiana na dini yangu, nafsi yangu, wanangu, na chochote Ulichonipa na Kunifadhili,
Wa taḥfaẓa ʿalā mālī wa jamīʿa mā khawwaltanī wa taqbiḍa ʿannī ʾaydiya al-jabābirati wa taruddanī ʾilā waṭanī wa tuballighanī nihāyata ʾamalī fī dunyāya wa ākhiratī wa tajʿala ʿāqibata ʾamrī maḥmūdatan ḥasanatan salīmatan wa tajʿalanī raḥība aṣ-ṣadri wāsiʿa al-ḥāli ḥasana al-khuluqi baʿīdan mina al-bukhli wa al-manʿi wa an-nifāqi wa al-kadhibi wa al-bahti wa qawli az-zūri wa tursikha fī qalbī maḥabbata muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin wa shīʿatihim
preserve for me my properties and whatsoever You have put under my disposal, watch me against the hands of the tyrants, take me back to my homeland (safely), confer upon me the utmost of my hope in my worldly life and the Hereafter, make the consequence of my conducts praiseworthy, good, and sound, make me broadminded, well-off, and well-mannered, [and take me] away from miserliness, stinginess. hypocrisy, fabrication, slander, and perjury. [Please] make firm in my heart the love for Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and their adherents (Shi' ah).
Unilindie mali zangu na chochote Ulichoweka chini ya uangalizi wangu, Unilinde dhidi ya mikono ya madhalimu, Unirejeshe katika nchi yangu ya asili (kwa salama), Unijalie kiwango cha juu kabisa cha matumaini yangu katika maisha yangu ya dunia na Akhera, Ufanye mwisho wa matendo yangu uwe wenye kusifiwa, mwema na mzuri, Unifanye nifunguke akili, niwe mwenye ukwasi, na mwenye tabia njema, na Uniepushe na uchoyo, ubahili, unafiki, uzushi, kusengenya na ushahidi wa uongo. Tafadhali Imarisha moyoni mwangu mapenzi kwa Muhammad na Ahlul-Bayt wa Muhammad na wafuasi wao (Shi'ah).
Wa taḥrusanī yā rabbi fī nafsī wa ʾahliā wa mālī wa waladī wa ʾahli ḥuzānatī wa ʾikhwānī wa ʾahli mawaddatī wa dhurriyyatī biraḥmatika wa jūdika Allāhumma hadhihi ḥājātī ʿindaka wa qadi astakthartuhā liluʾmī wa shuḥḥī wa hiya ʿindaka ṣaghīratun ḥaqīratun wa ʿalayka sahlatun yasīratun
O Lord, guard me, my family, my properties, my sons, those who are under my custody, my brothers, those whom I love, and my offspring in the name of Your mercy and Magnanimity. O Allah, these are my needs from You. Out of my meanness and avarice, I have considered these needs great, while in Your view the are insignificantly small and they are easy and effortless for You.
Ewe Mola, nilinde mimi, familia yangu, mali zangu, wanangu, wale walio chini ya ulinzi wangu, ndugu zangu, wale ninaowapenda, na kizazi changu kwa jina la rehema Yako na Ukarimu Wako. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, haya ndiyo mahitaji yangu Kwako. Kutokana na unyonge wangu na uroho wangu, nimeona mahitaji haya kuwa makubwa, wakati mbele Yako ni madogo sana na ni mepesi na yasiyo na juhudi Kwako.
Faʾasʾaluka bijāhi muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin ʿalayhi wa ʿalayhimu as-salāmu ʿindaka wa biḥaqqihim ʿalayka wa bimā ʾawjabta lahum, wa bisāʾiri ʾanbiyāʾika wa rusulika wa ʾaṣfiyāʾika wa ʾawliyāʾika al-mukhlaṣīna min ʿibādika wa biāsmika al-ʾaʿẓami al-ʾaʿẓami lammā qaḍaytahā kullahā wa ʾasʿaftanī bihā wa lam tukhayyib ʾamalī wa rajāʾī Allāhumma wa shaffiʿ ṣāḥiba hadhā al-qabri fiyya yā sayyidī yā waliyya Allāhi yā ʾamīna Allāhi ʾasʾaluka ʾan tashfaʿa lī ʾilā Allāhi ʿazza wa jalla fī hadhihi al-ḥājāti kullihā biḥaqqi ābāʾika aṭ-ṭāhirīna wa biḥaqqi ʾawlādika al-muntajabīna faʾinna laka ʿinda Allāhi taqaddasat ʾasmāʾuhu al-manzilata ash-sharīfata wa al-martabata al-jalīlata wa al-jāha al-ʿarīḍa
I thus beseech You in the name of the standing of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them, in Your view, in the name of Your duty towards You, in the name of what You have made incumbent upon Yourself towards them, in the name of Your other Prophets and Messengers, in the name of Your choicest ones and intimate servants whom You have selected over others for worshipping You, and in the name of Your Grand, Substantial Name, (I beseech You by all these) to grant me all of my requests, to relieve me through settling them for me, and not to disappoint nor let me down. O Allah, (please) accept the one in this tomb as my interceder before You. O my Master! O Allah's vicegerent! O Allah's trustee! I beseech you to intercede for me before Allah the Almighty and All-majestic so that He may approve of and grant me all of my requests in the name of Your Immaculate fathers and in the name of Your well-selected sons. Verily, you enjoy in the view of Allah, sacred be His Names, an honorable standing, a lofty rank, and a spacious regard.
Basi nakuomba kwa cheo cha Muhammad na Ahlul-Bayt wa Muhammad, amani iwe juu yake na juu yao mbele Yako, na kwa haki yao juu Yako na kwa yale Uliyoyafanya kuwa wajibu Juu Yako kwao, na kwa jina la Mitume na Wajumbe Wako wengine, na kwa wateule Wako na waja Wako wa karibu Uliowachagua kuliko wengine kwa ajili ya kukuabudu Wewe, na kwa Jina Lako Kuu, Jina la Dhati kabisa, Unipe maombi yangu yote, Unipunguzie dhiki kwa kunisuluhishia hayo, na Usiniangushe wala kunikatisha tamaa. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, tafadhali mkubali aliye katika kaburi hili kuwa mwombezi wangu mbele Yako. Ewe bwana wangu! Ewe makamu wa Mwenyezi Mungu! Ewe mwaminifu wa Mwenyezi Mungu! Nakuomba uniombee mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu Mwenye nguvu na Mtukufu ili Akubalie Anipe maombi nguvu zote kwa jina la baba zako watakatifu na kwa jina la watoto wako wateule. Hakika wewe una mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu, majina Yake yatukuzwe, cheo cha heshima, daraja ya juu, na heshima kubwa.
Allāhumma law ʿaraftu man huwa ʾawjahu ʿindaka min hadhā al-ʾimāmi wa min ābāʾihi wa ʾabnāʾihi aṭ-ṭāhirīna ʿalayhimu as-salāmu wa aṣ-ṣalātu lajaʿaltuhum shufaʿāʾī wa qaddamtuhum ʾamāma ḥājatī wa ṭalibātī hadhihi fāsmaʿ minnī wa astajib lī wa afʿal bī mā ʾanta ʾahluhu yā ʾarḥama ar-rāḥimīna. Allāhumma wa mā qaṣurat ʿanhu masʾalatī wa ʿajazat ʿanhu quwwatī wa lam tablughhu fiṭnatī min ṣāliḥi dīnī wa dunyāya wa ākhiratī fāmnun bihi ʿalā wa aḥfaẓnī wa aḥrusnī wa hab lī wa aghfir lī
O Allah, had I known a person more acceptable in Your view than this Imam and his immaculate fathers and sons, peace and blessings be upon them, I would have chosen them to be my interceders (before You) and I would have introduced them as means by whom I would put before You my needs and requests. Therefore, (please) hear from me, respond to me, and do to me that which You alone are worthy to do. O most merciful of all those who show mercy. O Allah, as regards the needs that my requests have not included, the things that I am too powerless to do, and the things that I am not too clever to mention, among the things that prosper my religion, worldly life, and next life; (please) confer upon me with these, protect me, guard me, bestow upon me (with Your favors), and forgive me.
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, laiti ningejua mtu anayekubalika zaidi mbele Yako kuliko Imamu huyu na baba zake na watoto wake watakatifu, amani na baraka ziwe juu yao, ningewachagua wao kuwa waombezi wangu (mbele Yako) na ningewafanya kuwa njia ya kuwasilisha mahitaji yangu na maombi yangu mbele Yako. Kwa hiyo, tafadhali nisikie, Nijibu, na Unifanyie yale ambayo Wewe pekee unastahili kuyafanya. Ewe Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wanaorehemu. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, kuhusiana na mahitaji ambayo maombi yangu hayakuyajumuisha, mambo ambayo nina nguvu kidogo ya kuyafanya, na mambo ambayo sina akili ya kuyataja, miongoni mwa mambo yanayostawisha dini yangu, maisha ya dunia, na maisha yajayo; tafadhali nifadhili kwa hayo, nilinde, nishike, nipe (kwa fadhila Zako), na Unisamehe.
Wa man ʾarādanī bisūʾin ʾaw makrūhin min shayṭānin marīdin ʾaw sulṭānin ʿanīdin ʾaw mukhālifin fī dīnin ʾaw munāziʿin fī dunyā ʾaw ḥāsidin ʿalā niʿmatan ʾaw ẓālimin ʾaw bāghin fāqbiḍ ʿannī yadahu wa aṣrif ʿannī kaydahu wa ashghalhu ʿannī binafsihi wa akfinī sharrahu wa sharra ʾatbāʿihi wa shayāṭīnihi wa ʾajirnī min kulli mā yaḍurrunī wa yujḥifu bī wa ʾaʿṭinī jamīʿa al-khayri kullihi mimmā ʾaʿlamu wa mimmā lā ʾaʿlamu
As for any one who intends evil or wickedness to me, such as a rebellious devil, a tyrant ruler, a dissident miscreant, a rival in a worldly affair, one who envies me for a grace, an unjust individual, or a despot; then (please) make their hands too short to catch me, take away their plots against me, preoccupy them against me with their own affairs, save me from their evils and the evils of their followers and devils, stand by me against whatsoever may harm and do injustice to me, and (please) grant me the entire goodness whether I know or I do not.
Kuhusu yeyote anayenuia ubaya au uovu dhidi yangu, kama vile shetani muasi, mtawala dhalimu, mkosaji anayeasi, mpinzani katika mambo ya dunia, yule anayenihusudu kwa neema, mtu asiye na uadilifu, au mtawala dhalimu; basi tafadhali fanya mikono yao iwe mifupi mno kunifikia, Uondoe hila zao dhidi yangu, Washughulishe dhidi yangu na mambo yao wenyewe, Uniokoe na shari zao na shari za wafuasi wao na mashetani wao, simama nami dhidi ya kila kinachoweza kunidhuru na kunidhulumu, na tafadhali Unijalie wema wote niwe naufahamu au siufahamu.
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin wa aghfir lī wa liwālidā wa liʾikhwānī wa ʾakhawātī wa ʾaʿmāmī wa ʿammātī wa ʾakhwālī wa khālātī wa ʾajdādī wa jaddātī wa ʾawlādihim, wa dharāriyyihim wa ʾazwājī wa dhurriyyātī wa ʾaqrabāʾī wa ʾaṣdiqāʾī wa jīrānī wa ʾikhwānī fīka min ʾahli ash-sharqi wa al-gharbi wa lijamīʿi ʾahli mawaddatī mina al-muʾminīna wa al-muʾmināti al-ʾaḥyāʾi minhum wa al-ʾamwāti wa lijamīʿi man ʿallamanī khayran ʾaw taʿallama minnī ʿilman Allāhumma ʾashrikhum fī ṣāliḥi duʿāʾī wa ziyāratī limashhadi ḥujjatika wa waliyyika wa ʾashriknī fī ṣāliḥi ʾadʿiyatihim biraḥmatika yā ʾarḥama ar-rāḥimīna
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and forgive me, my parents, my brothers, my sisters, my (paternal) uncles, my (paternal) aunts, my (maternal) uncles, my (maternal) aunts, my forefathers, my foremothers, their descendants, their offspring, my spouse(s), my offspring, my relatives, my friends, my neighbors, my brothers-in-faith from the people of the east and the west (of the earth), all those whom I love among the believing men and women, be they alive or dead, all those who have ever taught me an item of decency, and those who have received from me an item of knowledge. O Allah, make all these have a share in my best supplications to You and in my (ritual) pilgrimages to the shrine of Your Argument and Your vicegerent; make me have a share in the best of their supplications, in the name of Your mercy, O most merciful of all those who show mercy.
Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, mbariki Muhammad na Ahlul-Bayt wa Muhammad na Unisamehe mimi, wazazi wangu, kaka zangu, dada zangu, wajomba zangu (wa upande wa baba), mashangazi zangu, wajomba zangu (wa upande wa mama), mama zangu wadogo/wakubwa, mababu zangu, mabibi zangu, kizazi chao, watoto wao, mke/waume wangu, wanangu, jamaa zangu, rafiki zangu, majirani zangu, ndugu zangu katika imani kutoka mashariki na magharibi ya dunia, wote ninaowapenda miongoni mwa waumini wanaume na wanawake, wawe hai au wafu, wote waliowahi kunifundisha jambo la adabu, na wale waliopokea kutoka kwangu elimu. Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, wajaalie wote hawa wapate sehemu katika maombi mema Kwako na katika hija zangu (za kiibada) kwenye eneo takatifu la Hujjah Wako na makamu Wako; nijaalie nami nipate sehemu katika maombi yao mema, kwa jina la rehema Yako, Ewe Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wanaorehemu.
Wa balligh waliyyaka minhumu as-salāma wa as-salāmu ʿalayka wa raḥmatu Allāhi wa barakātuhu yā sayyidī yā mawlāya yā fulāna bna fulānin ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayka wa ʿalā rūḥika wa badanika ʾanta wasīlatī ʾilā Allāhi wa dharīʿatī ʾilayhi wa lī ḥaqqu muwālātī wa taʾmīlī fakun shafīʿī ʾilā Allāhi ʿazza wa jalla fī al-wuqūfi ʿalā qiṣṣatī hadhihi wa ṣarfī ʿan mawqifī hadhā biālnnujḥi bimā saʾaltuhu kullahi biraḥmatihi wa qudratihi
Convey their greetings to Your vicegerent. Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you. O my master, O my leader; O... [here mention the name of the Imam you are visiting] may Allah bless you, your soul, and your body; you are my means to approach Allah and my way towards Him; and I enjoy the right of my loyalty to you and the right of my putting my entire hope in you; therefore, be my interceder before Allah the Almighty and All-majestic so that He shall regard my story (that I have just told) and so that He shall decide success to be the result of all of my requests in this situation of mine that I have besought from Him, out of His mercy and omnipotence.
Fikisha salamu zao kwa makamu Wako. Amani na rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu na baraka Zake ziwe juu yako. Ewe bwana wangu, Ewe kiongozi wangu; Ewe... [taja jina la Imamu unayemtembelea hapa] Mwenyezi Mungu akubariki wewe, nafsi yako, na mwili wako; wewe ndiye njia yangu ya kumkaribia Mwenyezi Mungu na njia yangu ya kuelekea Kwake; nami nina haki ya uaminifu wangu kwako na haki ya kuweka matumaini yangu yote kwako; kwa hiyo, uwe mwombezi wangu mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu Mwenye nguvu na Mtukufu ili Aangalie kisa changu (nilichokieleza hivi punde) na Aamue mafanikio kuwa matokeo ya maombi yangu yote katika hali yangu hii niliyomwomba, kutokana na rehema Yake na uwezo Wake wote.
Allāhumma arzuqnī ʿaqlan kāmilan wa lubban rājiḥan wa ʿizzan bāqiyan wa qalban zakiyyan wa ʿamalan kathīran wa ʾadaban bāriʿan wa ajʿal dhalika kullahu lī wa lā tajʿalhu ʿalā biraḥmatika yā ʾarḥama ar-rāḥimīna.
O Allah, (please) bestow upon me a perfect intellectuality, a sagacious reason, an everlasting might, a pure heart, a very much deed, and excellent manners; decide all these to be for my good, but do not make them stand against me; in the name of Your mercy, O most merciful of all those who show mercy.
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, tafadhali nijaalie akili kamili, busara iliyo timamu, nguvu zenye kudumu, moyo uliotakasika, matendo mema mengi, na adabu bora; nijaalie yote hayo yawe kwa manufaa yangu, lakini Usiyajalie yasimame dhidi yangu; kwa jina la rehema Yako, Ewe Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wanaorehemu.
