Comprehensive Dua for the World & Hereafter — Full Arabic Text, Translation & Transliteration

The man then said, "A little time after l had committed myself to this instruction, people from the desert came to me to inform that one of my relatives had died and he had no inheritor except me. I therefore went there to receive the inheritance due to which I became rich." The following is quoted from the two books of al-Kafi and Makarim al-Akhlaq: A man, called Halqam, asked the Holy Imam (a.s.) to teach him a brief supplicatory utterance by which the wealth of this world and the goodness of the Hereafter are gathered to him. The Imam (a.s.) therefore instructed him to say the aforementioned supplicatory utterance to be repeated after the dawn (fajr) Prayer up to sunrise. When the man did, his conditions were changed excellently. All glory be to Allah, the All-great, and in praise of Him.

Kisha mtu huyo akasema, "Baada ya muda kidogo nilipojitiisha kwa maagizo haya, watu kutoka jangwani walinijia kunifahamisha kwamba mmoja wa jamaa yangu amekufa na hana mrithi isipokuwa mimi. Kwa hiyo nilikwenda huko kupokea urithi ambao nilipata kuwa tajiri." Ifuatayo imenukuliwa kutoka katika vitabu viwili vya al-Kafi na Makarim al-Akhlaq: Mtu mmoja aitwaye Halqam, alimuomba Mtukufu Imam (a.s.) amfundishe kauli fupi ya dua ambayo kwayo utajiri wa dunia na wema wa Akhera unakusanywa kwake. Kwa hiyo Imam (a.s.) alimuagiza aseme dua iliyotajwa hapo juu ili irudiwe baada ya alfajiri (alfajiri) hadi kuchomoza kwa jua. Mtu huyo alipofanya hivyo, hali zake zilibadilishwa vyema. Utukufu wote ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu, Mtukufu, na sifa njema ni zake.
