الأدعية التالية منقولة من كتب معتبرة: آيات الاسم الأعظم. ذكر السيد الجليل علي خان الشيرازي - رضوان الله عليه - في كتابه الكلم الطيب أن الاسم الأعظم لله تعالى موجود في كل عبارة تبدأ بكلمة 'الله' وتنتهي بكلمة 'هو'، بشرط أن تكون العبارة (باللغة العربية) خالية من أي حرف منقوط وألا يتغير لفظها عند الإعراب أو عدمه. وتوجد هذه العبارات في القرآن الكريم في خمس آيات من خمس سور مختلفة: البقرة (2:255)، وآل عمران (3:2)، والنساء (4:87)، وطه (20:8)، والتغابن (64:13). ويقول الشيخ المغربي: 'إذا جعل الإنسان هذه الآيات الخمس ورداً يكرره إحدى عشرة مرة في اليوم، تسهل جميع أموره العامة والخاصة دون تأخير إن شاء الله.' وهذه الآيات الخمس هي كما يلي:
The following supplicatory prayers are quoted from considerable reference books: The Verses of the Greatest Name. The reverent Sayyid Ali Khan al-Shirazi - may Allah's pleasure be with him - has mentioned in his book of al-Kalim al-Tayyib that Almighty Allah's Greatest Name (alism al-a'zam) stands for each statement that begins with the word 'Allah' and ends up with the word 'huwa (He),' provided that the statement (in Arabic) be empty of any dotted letter and that its recitation does not change whether it is parsed or not. Such statements can be found in the Holy Qur'an in five verses of five different Surahs: al-Baqarah (2:255), Al-'Imran (3:2), al-Nisa' (4:87), Taahaa (20:8), and al-Taghabun (64:13). Shaykh al-Maghribi says, 'If one betakes to these five verses as a supplicatory prayer that is repeated eleven times a day, all his general and particular affairs will be made easy for him without delay, Allah willing.' These five verses are as follows:
Maombi yafuatayo yamenukuliwa kutoka katika vitabu vya marejeo vinavyoaminika: Aya za Jina Tukufu Zaidi (Isme Aazam). Sayyid Ali Khan al-Shirazi - radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake - ametaja katika kitabu chake cha al-Kalim al-Tayyib kwamba Jina Tukufu Zaidi la Mwenyezi Mungu (alism al-a'zam) linapatikana katika kila kauli inayoanza na neno 'Allah' na kuishia na neno 'huwa (Yeye)', kwa sharti kwamba kauli hiyo (kwa Kiarabu) iwe haina herufi yoyote yenye nukta na kwamba usomaji wake usibadilike iwe imenyambuliwa au la. Kauli kama hizo zinapatikana katika Qur'ani Tukufu katika aya tano za sura tano tofauti: al-Baqarah (2:255), Al-'Imran (3:2), al-Nisa' (4:87), Taahaa (20:8), na al-Taghabun (64:13). Shaykh al-Maghribi anasema, 'Ikiwa mtu atazifanya aya hizi tano kuwa maombi ya kurudiwa mara kumi na moja kila siku, mambo yake yote ya jumla na ya kipekee yatafanywa mepesi kwake bila kuchelewa, Mwenyezi Mungu akipenda.' Aya hizi tano ni kama ifuatavyo:
Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Source of all being. Drowsiness overtakes Him not nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He pleases. His Seat extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Yeye, Aliye hai, Msimamia kila jambo. Hamsinzii wala halali. Ni Vyake vilivyomo mbinguni na vilivyomo katika ardhi. Ni nani huyo anayeombea mbele Yake bila ya idhini Yake? Anajua yaliyoko mbele yao na yaliyoko nyuma yao; wala wao hawakizunguki chochote katika ujuzi Wake ila kwa Alitakalo. Enzi Yake imeenea mbinguni na ardhi, wala hakilemewi na kulinda viwili hivyo. Naye ndiye Aliye juu, Mkuu.
اللهُ لَا إِلهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
Allāhu lā ʾilha ʾilā huwa al-ḥayyu al-qayyūmu
Allah, (there is) no god but He, the Ever-living, the Self-subsisting by Whom all things subsist.
Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Yeye, Aliye hai, Msimamia kila jambo.
