  "arabic": "اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا اَبا عَبْدِالله، اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ، اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا خِيَرَةَ اللهِ وابْنَ خَيرَتِهِ. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَميرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيّينَ. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِساءِ الْعالَمينَ. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا ثارَ اللهِ وَابْنَ ثارِهِ وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُورَ. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى الاَْرْواحِ الَّتي حَلَّتْ بِفِنائِكَ. عَلَيْكُمْ مِنّي جَميعاً سَلامُ اللهِ اَبَداً ما بَقيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهارُ. يا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ لَقَدْ عَظُمَتِ الرَّزِيَّةُ وَجَلَّتْ وَعَظُمَتِ الْمُصيبَةُ بِكَ عَلَيْنا وَعَلى جَميعِ اَهْلِ الاِْسْلامِ. وَجَلَّتْ وَعَظُمَتْ مُصيبَتُكَ فِي السَّماواتِ عَلى جَميعِ اَهْلِ السَّماواتِ. فَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً اَسَّسَتْ اَساسَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْجَوْرِ عَلَيْكُمْ اَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً دَفَعَتْكُمْ عَنْ مَقامِكُمْ وَاَزالَتْكُمْ عَنْ مَراتِبِكُمُ الَّتي رَتَّبَكُمُ اللهُ فيها. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكُمْ. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُمَهِّدينَ لَهُمْ بِالْتَّمْكينِ مِنْ قِتالِكُم. بَرِئْتُ اِلَى اللهِ وَاِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ وَمِنْ اَشْياعِهِمْ وَاَتْباعِهِمْ وَاَوْلِيائِهِمْ. يا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ اِنّي سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سالَمَكُمْ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حارَبَكُمْ اِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ آلَ زِياد وَآلَ مَرْوانَ. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ بَني اُمَيَّةَ قاطِبَةً. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ ابْنَ مَرْجانَةَ. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ عُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْد. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ شِمْراً. وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً اَسْرَجَتْ وَاَلْجَمَتْ وَتَنَقَّبَتْ لِقِتالِك. بِاَبي اَنْتَ وَاُمّي لَقَدْ عَظُمَ مُصابي بِكَ. فَاَسْأَلُ اللهَ الَّذي اَكْرَمَ مَقامَكَ وَاَكْرَمَني بِكَ اَنْ يَرْزُقَني طَلَبَ ثارِكَ مَعَ اِمامٍ مَنْصُورٍ مِنْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ. اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْني عِنْدَكَ وَجيهاً بِالْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ فِي الدُّنْيا وَالاْخِرَةِ. يا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ اِنّي اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلى اللهِ وَ اِلى رَسُولِهِ وَاِلى اَميرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَاِلى فاطِمَةَ وَاِلَى الْحَسَنِ وَاِلَيْكَ بِمُوالاتِكَ. وَبِالْبَراءَةِ مِمَّنْ قاتَلَكَ وَنَصَبَ لَكَ الْحَرْبَ وَبِالْبَراءَةِ مِمَّنْ اَسَسَّ اَساسَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْجَوْرِ عَلَيْكُمْ. وَاَبْرَأُ اِلَى اللهِ وَاِلى رَسُولِهِ مِمَّنْ اَسَسَّ اَساسَ ذلِكَ وَبَنى عَلَيْهِ بُنْيانَهُ. وَجَرى فِي ظُلْمِهِ وَجَوْرِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعلى اَشْياعِكُم. بَرِئْتُ اِلَى اللهِ وَاِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ. وَاَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَى اللهِ ثُمَّ اِلَيْكُمْ بِمُوالاتِكُمْ وَمُوالاةِ وَلِيِّكُمْ وَبِالْبَراءَةِ مِنْ اَعْدائِكُمْ وَالنّاصِبينَ لَكُمُ الْحَرْبَ. وَبِالْبَراءَةِ مِنْ اَشْياعِهِمْ وَاَتْباعِهِمْ. اِنّي سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سالَمَكُمْ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حارَبَكُمْ وَوَلِىٌّ لِمَنْ والاَكُمْ وَعَدُوٌّ لِمَنْ عاداكُمْ. فَاَسْأَلُ اللهَ الَّذي اَكْرَمَني بِمَعْرِفَتِكُمْ وَمَعْرِفَةِ اَوْلِيائِكُمْ وَرَزَقَنِى الْبَراءَةَ مِنْ اَعْدائِكُمْ اَنْ يَجْعَلَني مَعَكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيا وَالاْخِرَةِ. وَاَنْ يُثَبِّتَ لي عِنْدَكُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْق فِي الدُّنْيا وَالاْخِرَةِ. وَاَسْأَلُهُ اَنْ يُبَلِّغَنِى الْمَقامَ الْمَحْمُودَ لَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ. وَاَنْ يَرْزُقَني طَلَبَ ثاري مَعَ اِمامٍ هُدىً ظاهِرٍ ناطِقٍ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْكُمْ. وَاَسْألُ اللهَ بِحَقِّكُمْ وَبِالشَّأنِ الَّذي لَكُمْ عِنْدَهُ اَنْ يُعْطِيَني بِمُصابي بِكُمْ اَفْضَلَ ما يُعْطي مُصاباً بِمُصيبَتِهِ. مُصيبَةً ما اَعْظَمَها وَاَعْظَمَ رَزِيَّتَها فِي الاِْسْلامِ وَفِي جَميعِ السَّماواتِ وَالاْرْضِ. اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْني فِي مَقامي هذا مِمَّنْ تَنالُهُ مِنْكَ صَلَواتٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ. اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْيايَ مَحْيا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ. وَمَماتي مَماتَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ. اَللّـهُمَّ اِنَّ هذا يَوْمٌ تَبَرَّأَتْ بِهِ بَنُو اُمَيَّةَ وَابْنُ آكِلَةِ الاَكْبادِ اللَّعينُ ابْنُ اللَّعينِ. عَلى لِسانِكَ وَلِسانِ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ فِي كُلِّ مَوْطِنٍ وَمَوْقِفٍ وَقَفَ فيهِ نَبِيُّكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ. اَللّـهُمَّ الْعَنْ اَبا سُفْيانَ وَمُعاوِيَةَ وَيَزيدَ ابْنَ مُعاوِيَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْكَ اللَّعْنَةُ اَبَدَ الاْبِدينَ. وَهذا يَوْمٌ فَرِحَتْ بِهِ آلُ زِياد وَآلُ مَرْوانَ بِقَتْلِهِمُ الْحُسَيْنَ صَلَواتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ. اَللّـهُمَّ فَضاعِفْ عَلَيْهِمُ اللَّعْنَ مِنْكَ وَالْعَذابَ الاَْليمَ. اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّي اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ فِي هذَا الْيَوْمِ وَفِي مَوْقِفي هذا وَاَيّامِ حَياتي بِالْبَراءَةِ مِنْهُمْ وَاللَّعْنَةِ عَلَيْهِمْ. وَبِالْمُوالاةِ لِنَبِيِّكَ وَآلِ نَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ السَّلامُ. ثمّ تقول مائة مرّة : اَللّـهُمَّ الْعَنْ اَوَّلَ ظالِمٍ ظَلَمَ حَقَّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآخِرَ تابِعٍ لَهُ عَلى ذلِكَ. اَللّـهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْعِصابَةَ الَّتي جاهَدَتِ الْحُسَيْنَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ وَشايَعَتْ وَبايَعَتْ وَتابَعَتْ عَلى قَتْلِهِ. اَللّـهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمْ جَميعاً. ثمّ تقول مائة مرّة : اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ وَعَلَى الاَْرْواحِ الَّتي حَلَّتْ بِفِنائِكَ. عَلَيْكَ مِنّي سَلامُ اللهِ اَبَداً ما بَقيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهارُ. وَلا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنّي لِزِيارَتِكُم. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلى اَوْلادِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلى اَصْحابِ الْحُسَيْنِ. ثمّ تقول : اَللّـهُمَّ خُصَّ اَنْتَ اَوَّلَ ظالِمٍ بِاللَّعْنِ مِنّي وَابْدَأْ بِهِ اَوَّلاً ثُمَّ الْعَنْ الثّانيَ وَالثّالِثَ وَالرّابِعَ. اَللّـهُمَّ الْعَنْ يَزيدَ خامِساً. وَالْعَنْ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ زِياد وَابْنَ مَرْجانَةَ وَعُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْد وَشِمْراً وَآلَ اَبي سُفْيانَ وَآلَ زِياد وَآلَ مَرْوانَ اِلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ. ثمّ تسجد وتقول: اَللّـهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدَ الشّاكِرينَ لَكَ عَلى مُصابِهِمْ. اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلى عَظيمِ رَزِيَّتي. اَللّـهُمَّ ارْزُقْني شَفاعَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْوُرُودِ وَثَبِّتْ لي قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَكَ مَعَ الْحُسَيْنِ وَاَصْحابِ الْحُسَيْنِ. اَلَّذينَ بَذَلُوا مُهَجَهُمْ دُونَ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ.",
  "english": "Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdillah. Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah. Peace be upon you, O chosen of Allah and the son of His chosen. Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful and the son of the chief of successors. Peace be upon you, O son of Fatima, the leader of the women of the worlds. Peace be upon you, O avenger of the blood of Allah and the son of His avenger, the one alone and martyred. Peace be upon you and upon the souls that descended into your courtyard. Upon all of you from me is the peace of Allah forever, as long as I remain and as long as night and day endure. O Aba Abdillah, indeed the calamity is great, and the misfortune with you is immense upon us and upon all the people of Islam. Truly, your tragedy is great in the heavens upon all the inhabitants of the heavens. May Allah curse a nation that laid the foundation of oppression and injustice against you, the People of the House. And may Allah curse a nation that pushed you away from your position and removed you from the ranks in which Allah had placed you. And may Allah curse a nation that killed you. And may Allah curse those who prepared the ground, gave them power, and enabled them to fight against you. I disassociate myself to Allah and to you from them, from their supporters, their followers, and their allies. O Aba Abdillah, indeed I am at peace with those who are at peace with you, and I am at war with those who are at war with you until the Day of Resurrection. May Allah curse the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan. May Allah curse the clan of Umayyah altogether. May Allah curse the son of Marjanah. May Allah curse Umar ibn Sa’d. May Allah curse Shimr. And may Allah curse a nation that saddled, bridled, and prepared itself to fight against you. May my father and mother be ransoms for you; indeed my grief for you is great. I ask Allah, the One who has honored your station and honored me through you, to grant me the opportunity to seek your revenge with a victorious Imam from the family of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family. O Allah, make me honorable with You through Husayn, peace be upon him, in this world and the hereafter. O Aba Abdillah, I seek nearness to Allah, to His Messenger, to the Commander of the Faithful, to Fatima, to Hasan, and to you through your love and loyalty, and through disavowing those who fought you, set up war against you, and disavowing those who laid the foundations of injustice and oppression against you. I disassociate myself to Allah and to His Messenger from those who established that foundation, built upon it, and carried on their injustice and oppression against you and your followers. I disassociate myself to Allah and to you from them. I seek nearness to Allah, and then to you, through your loyalty, the loyalty of your friends, and disavowing your enemies and those who declared war against you, as well as disavowing their supporters and followers. Indeed, I am at peace with those who are at peace with you, at war with those who are at war with you, a friend to those who are your friends, and an enemy to those who are your enemies. I ask Allah, the One who has honored me with knowing you and knowing your friends, and who has provided me with disavowing your enemies, to place me with you in this world and in the hereafter, and to make firm for me a truthful position with you in this world and in the hereafter. And I ask Him to grant me the praiseworthy station that you have with Allah, and to grant me the opportunity to seek my revenge with a guided Imam, manifest, speaking with truth, from among you. I ask Allah, by your right and by the status that you have with Him, to grant me, through my grief over you, the best of what He grants to anyone afflicted with a calamity. A calamity—how great it is, how immense is its disaster in Islam and in all the heavens and the earth. O Allah, make me in this station of mine among those who receive from You blessings, mercy, and forgiveness. O Allah, make my life the life of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and my death the death of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. O Allah, this is the day on which the family of Umayyah rejoiced, and the son of the liver-eater, the accursed son of the accursed, rejoiced, as declared by You and Your Prophet, may Allah bless him and his family, in every place and position in which Your Prophet stood. O Allah, curse Abu Sufyan, Mu’awiyah, and Yazid son of Mu’awiyah. May Your curse be upon them forever, without end. And this is the day when the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan rejoiced for their killing of Husayn, peace be upon him. O Allah, so double upon them Your curse and the painful punishment. O Allah, indeed I seek nearness to You on this day, in this position of mine, and throughout the days of my life, through disavowing them and cursing them, and through loyalty to Your Prophet and the family of Your Prophet, peace be upon him and upon them. Then you say one hundred times: O Allah, curse the first oppressor who wronged the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and the last follower of him upon that. O Allah, curse the group that fought Husayn, peace be upon him, that supported, pledged allegiance, and followed in killing him. O Allah, curse them all. Then you say one hundred times: Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdillah, and upon the souls that descended into your courtyard. Upon you from me is the peace of Allah forever, as long as I live and as long as night and day remain. And may Allah not make this the last of my covenant with you for visiting you. Peace be upon Husayn, and upon Ali son of Husayn, and upon the children of Husayn, and upon the companions of Husayn. Then you say: O Allah, curse the first oppressor from me, and begin with him first, then curse the second, the third, and the fourth. O Allah, curse Yazid the fifth. And curse Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, son of Marjanah, Umar ibn Sa’d, Shimr, the family of Abu Sufyan, the family of Ziyad, and the family of Marwan, until the Day of Resurrection. Then you prostrate and say: O Allah, for You is all praise, the praise of those who are thankful to You for their trials. Praise be to Allah for my great calamity. O Allah, grant me the intercession of Husayn on the Day of Arrival, and establish for me a truthful footing with You along with Husayn and the companions of Husayn, those who sacrificed their lives for Husayn, peace be upon him.",
  "kiswahili": "Amani iwe juu yako, Ee Aba Abdillah. Amani iwe juu yako, Ee mwana wa Mtume wa Allah. Amani iwe juu yako, Ee mteule wa Allah na mwana wa mteule Wake. Amani iwe juu yako, Ee mwana wa Amirul Mu'minin na mwana wa kiongozi wa Mawasii. Amani iwe juu yako, Ee mwana wa Fatimah, kiongozi wa wanawake wa ulimwengu. Amani iwe juu yako, Ee damu ya Allah na mwana wa damu Yake, aliyeachwa peke yake na kuuawa. Amani iwe juu yako na juu ya roho zilizoshuka katika uwanja wako. Juu yenu nyote kutoka kwangu ni amani ya Allah milele, maadamu ninaishi na maadamu usiku na mchana vipo. Ee Aba Abdillah, hakika msiba ni mkubwa, na maafa yako ni makubwa juu yetu na juu ya Waislamu wote. Hakika msiba wako ni mkubwa mbinguni juu ya wakazi wote wa mbingu. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani taifa lililoanzisha dhulma na uonevu dhidi yako wewe watu wa nyumba. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani taifa lililokuweka kando katika nafasi yako na kukutoa katika hadhi ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu alikupa. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani taifa lililokuua. Na Mwenyezi Mungu awaapize wale waliowasaidia, kuwapa nguvu, na kuwawezesha kupigana nawe. Najitenga kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na kwa wewe kutoka kwao, kutoka kwa wafuasi wao, wafuasi wao na washirika wao. Ee Aba Abdillah, hakika mimi niko pamoja na wanaopatana na wewe, na mimi niko vitani na wanaopigana na wewe mpaka siku ya Kiyama. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani familia ya Ziyad na familia ya Marwan. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani koo ya Umayyah kwa jumla. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani mwana wa Marjanah. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani Umar ibn Sa’d. Mwenyezi Mungu amlani Shimr. Na Mwenyezi Mungu amlani taifa lililoweka farasi zao, wakavalia silaha na kujitayarisha kupigana nawe. Baba yangu na mama yangu wawe fidia kwako; hakika huzuni yangu kwa ajili yako ni kubwa. Namwomba Mwenyezi Mungu, Yule aliyekuheshimisha wewe na kuniheshimisha mimi kupitia wewe, kunipa fursa ya kulipiza kisasi chako pamoja na Imam mshindi kutoka kwa kizazi cha Muhammad, rehema na amani ziwe juu yake na kizazi chake. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, nifanye nikuheshimike Kwako kupitia Husayn, amani iwe juu yake, katika dunia hii na Akhera. Ee Aba Abdillah, ninatafuta ukaribu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, kwa Mtume Wake, kwa Amirul Mu'minin, kwa Fatimah, kwa Hasan na kwako kupitia mapenzi na utii wako, na kwa kujitenga na wale waliokupiga vita, waliokupiga vita na walioweka msingi wa dhulma na uonevu dhidi yako. Najitenga kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na kwa Mtume Wake kutoka kwa wale walioweka msingi huo, wakaujenga juu yake na kuendeleza dhulma na uonevu wao dhidi yako na wafuasi wako. Najitenga kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na kwa wewe kutoka kwao. Nataka ukaribu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na kisha kwa wewe, kupitia utii wako, utii wa marafiki zako, na kwa kujitenga na maadui zako na wale waliokutangazia vita, na vile vile kwa kujitenga na wafuasi wao na wafuasi wao. Namwomba Mwenyezi Mungu, kwa haki yako na kwa hadhi uliyo nayo Kwake, kunipa, kupitia huzuni yangu juu yako, bora zaidi ya kile Anachompa mtu yeyote aliyepatwa na msiba. Msiba—jinsi ulivyo mkubwa, jinsi ulivyo mkubwa msiba wake katika Uislamu na katika mbingu zote na ardhi. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, nifanye mimi katika nafasi hii yangu miongoni mwa wale wanaopokea kutoka Kwako baraka, rehema na msamaha. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, fanya maisha yangu yawe maisha ya Muhammad na kizazi cha Muhammad, na kifo changu kiwe kifo cha Muhammad na kizazi cha Muhammad. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, hii ndiyo siku ambayo familia ya Umayyah walifurahi, na mwana wa mla maini, mwana aliyelaaniwa wa aliyelaaniwa, alifurahi, kama ulivyotangaza Wewe na Mtume Wako, rehema na amani ziwe juu yake na kizazi chake, katika kila mahali na nafasi ambayo Mtume Wako alisimama. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika ninataka ukaribu Kwako katika siku hii, katika nafasi hii yangu, na katika siku zote za maisha yangu, kwa kujitenga nao na kuwalaani, na kwa utii kwa Mtume Wako na familia ya Mtume Wako, rehema na amani ziwe juu yake na juu yao. Juu yako kutoka kwangu ni amani ya Allah milele, maadamu ninaishi na maadamu usiku na mchana zipo. Na Mwenyezi Mungu asifanye hii iwe ahadi yangu ya mwisho kwako ya kukutembelea. Amani iwe juu ya Husayn, na juu ya Ali mwana wa Husayn, na juu ya watoto wa Husayn, na juu ya wafuasi wa Husayn. Kisha unasema: Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, mlani dhalimu wa kwanza kutoka kwangu, na anza naye kwanza, kisha mlani wa pili, wa tatu na wa nne. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, mlani Yazid wa tano. Na mlani Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, mwana wa Marjanah, Umar ibn Sa’d, Shimr, familia ya Abu Sufyan, familia ya Ziyad, na familia ya Marwan, hadi Siku ya Kiyama. Kisha unasujudu na kusema: Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, kwako Wewe ni sifa zote njema, sifa za wale wanaokushukuru Wewe kwa majaribu yao. Sifa zote njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu kwa msiba wangu mkubwa. Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, nijaalie nipate uombezi wa Husayn Siku ya Kufufuliwa, na unisimamishe nafasi ya kweli pamoja na Wewe pamoja na Husayn na wafuasi wa Husayn, wale waliotoa maisha yao kwa ajili ya Husayn, amani iwe juu yake."
