    "arabic": "بَرَآءَةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ",
    "english": "Freedom from (all) obligations (is declared) from Allah and His Messenger to those with whom you made treaties among the polytheists.",
    "kiswahili": "Huu ni uhuru kutoka kwa Allah na Mtume wake kwa wale mliofanya mkataba nao miongoni mwa washirikina."

    "arabic": "فَسِيحُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍۢ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْزِى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ",
    "english": "So travel freely in the land for four months, but know that you cannot escape Allah, and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.",
    "kiswahili": "Hivyo enendeni huru katika nchi kwa miezi minne, lakini mjue kuwa hamtaweza kumkwepa Allah, na Allah atamfanya washirikina wajione aibu."

    "arabic": "وَأَذَٰنٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَوْمَ ٱلْحَجِّ ٱلْأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ۙ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ فَإِن تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ",
    "english": "And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage: that Allah is free from obligation to the polytheists, and so is His Messenger. So if you repent, it is better for you; but if you turn away, know that you cannot escape Allah. Give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tangazo kutoka kwa Allah na Mtume wake kwa watu siku ya Hajj Kuu: kuwa Allah hana dhima kwa washirikina, vivyo hivyo Mtume wake. Hivyo ukibarikiwa ni bora kwenu; na ukageuka, mjue kuwa hamtaweza kumkwepa Allah. Waambie washirikina adhabu yenye maumivu."

    "arabic": "إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَمْ يُظَـٰهِرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًۭا فَأَتِمُّوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ",
    "english": "Except those of the polytheists with whom you made a treaty and who have not failed you in anything, nor aided anyone against you; fulfill their treaty until their term ends. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous.",
    "kiswahili": "Isipo wale washirikina mliofanya mkataba nao ambao hawajakudanganya wala kushirikisha mtu dhidi yenu; kamilisha mkataba wao hadi mwisho wa muda wao. Hakika Allah anapenda wajaali."

    "arabic": "فَإِذَا ٱنسَلَخَ ٱلْأَشْهُرُ ٱلْحُرُمُ فَٱقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَٱحْصُرُوهُمْ وَٱقْعُدُوا۟ لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍۢ ۚ فَإِن تَابُوا۟ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَخَلُّوا۟ سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then leave their way free. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Na baada ya miezi mitakatifu kumalizika, uwakame washirikina popote mlipowapata, washikilie, wafungie, na uwe makini kwa kila kona. Lakini wakitubu, wakiwajibisha sala na kutoa zakah, waachie. Hakika Allah ni Msamehe na Mwenye Rehema."

    "arabic": "وَإِنْ أَحَدٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ٱسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسْمَعَ كَلَـٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُۥ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌۭ لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah, then escort him to a place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Na iwapo mmoja wa washirikina atakuomba hifadhi, mpatie hifadhi hadi asikie maneno ya Allah, kisha mwendelee hadi mahali salama. Hii ni kwa sababu wao ni watu wasiokuwa na maarifa."

    "arabic": "كَيْفَ يَكُونُ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ عَهْدٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ رَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ عَـٰهَدتُّمْ عِندَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۖ فَمَا ٱسْتَقَـٰمُوا۟ لَكُمْ فَٱسْتَقِيمُوا۟ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ",
    "english": "How can there be a treaty with the polytheists with Allah and His Messenger except those with whom you made a treaty near the Sacred Mosque? So as long as they are upright to you, be upright to them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, ni vipi washirikina wangeweza kuwa na mkataba mbele ya Allah na Mtume wake isipokuwa wale mliofanya nao mkataba karibu na Masjidul Haram? Hivyo wanapokuwa wema kwenu, mwenye wema kwao. Hakika Allah anapenda wajaali."

    "arabic": "كَيْفَ وَإِن يَظْهَرُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوا۟ فِيكُمْ إِلًّۭا وَلَا ذِمَّةًۭ ۚ يُرْضُونَكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَىٰ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ",
    "english": "How, when they show hostility against you, they observe neither covenant nor promise, pleasing you with their mouths while their hearts refuse, and most of them are defiantly disobedient.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, wanapokuwa wakikupinga, hawatii mkataba wala ahadi, wakikufurahisha kwa maneno yao huku mioyo yao ikikataa, na wengi wao ni wakosa maadili."

    "arabic": "ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "They have purchased the signs of Allah for a small price and barred [people] from His way. Indeed, it is evil what they used to do.",
    "kiswahili": "Wamezinunua ishara za Allah kwa bei ndogo na kuzuia wengine kutoka katika Njia yake. Hakika ni vibaya kile walichokuwa wakifanya."

    "arabic": "لَا يَرْقُبُونَ فِى مُؤْمِنٍ إِلًّۭا وَلَا ذِمَّةًۭ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُعْتَدُونَ",
    "english": "They show no regard for a believer, nor any covenant; those are the transgressors.",
    "kiswahili": "Hawa wala hawaoni heshima kwa muumini, wala mkataba; hao ndio wasio wema."

    "arabic": "فَإِن تَابُوا۟ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ ۗ وَنُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion. We explain the signs for a people who know.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini wakitubu, wakiwajibisha sala na kutoa zakah, basi hao ni ndugu zenu katika dini. Tunaelezea aya kwa watu wenye maarifa."

    "ayah": 12,
    "arabic": "وَإِن نَّكَثُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا۟ فِى دِينِكُمْ فَقَـٰتِلُوٓا۟ أَئِمَّةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَآ أَيْمَـٰنَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنتَهُونَ",
    "english": "And if they break their oaths after their covenant and attack your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief. Indeed, they have no oaths; perhaps they may desist.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakivunja miadi yao baada ya mkataba wao na kuibua dini yenu, wapigie viongozi wa kufuru. Hakika hawana ahadi; labda watasimamishwa."

    "ayah": 13,
    "arabic": "أَلَا تُقَـٰتِلُونَ قَوْمًۭا نَّكَثُوا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ وَهَمُّوا۟ بِإِخْرَاجِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَهُم بَدَءُوكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۚ أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ ۚ فَٱللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَوْهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "Do you not fight a people who broke their oaths and intended to expel the Messenger, and they began with you the first time? Do you fear them? Allah is more worthy that you should fear Him, if you are believers.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, huta wapigie watu waliovunja miadi yao na walitaka kumtoa Mtume, na walianza nanyi kwanza? Je, mowaogopa? Allah ndiye anayestahiki kuogopwa zaidi ikiwa mmeamini."

    "ayah": 14,
    "arabic": "قَـٰتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍۢ مُّؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "Fight them; Allah will punish them through your hands, disgrace them, help you over them, and heal the hearts of a believing people.",
    "kiswahili": "Wapigie; Allah atawaadhibu kwa mikono yenu, kuwaaibishe, akusaidie juu yao, na apate uponyaji mioyo ya watu waaminifu."

    "arabic": "وَيُذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَيَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ",
    "english": "And remove the fury from their hearts. And Allah accepts repentance of whom He wills. And Allah is Knowing, Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Na atazidishe hasira mioyo yao. Na Allah anakubali toba ya yeyote anayetaka. Allah ni Mjuzi, Mwema."

    "ayah": 16,
    "arabic": "أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تُتْرَكُوا۟ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا رَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيجَةًۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "Or do you think you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet known those among you who strive, and have not taken any protector besides Allah, His Messenger, and the believers? And Allah is aware of what you do.",
    "kiswahili": "Au mwafikiri mtabaki bila kitendo wakati Allah hajajua wale miongoni mwenu wanaojitahidi, ambao hawajachukua mlezi mwingine isipokuwa Allah, Mtume wake, na waumini? Na Allah anafahamu mliyo yafanya."

    "ayah": 17,
    "arabic": "مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُوا۟ مَسَـٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ شَـٰهِدِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِم بِٱلْكُفْرِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ وَفِى ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ خَـٰلِدُونَ",
    "english": "It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah while bearing witness against themselves of disbelief. Their deeds are null, and they will abide in the Fire.",
    "kiswahili": "Si haki kwa washirikina kuendeleza misikiti ya Allah wakiishuhudia wenyewe kwa kufuru. Matendo yao yamefutika, na watabaki katika Moto."
  },

    "ayah": 18,
    "arabic": "إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَـٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ ۖ فَعَسَىٰٓ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَن يَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ",
    "english": "The mosques of Allah are maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah, and fear none but Allah. It is hoped that they will be among the rightly guided.",
    "kiswahili": "Misikiti ya Allah inaendelezwa na wale tu wanaoamini Allah na Siku ya Mwisho, wakiwajibisha sala, kutoa zakah, na kuogopa Allah tu. Ni matumaini kwamba wao watakuwa miongoni mwa wahamiao."

    "ayah": 19,
    "arabic": "۞ أَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ ٱلْحَآجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَجَـٰهَدَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ لَا يَسْتَوُۥنَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ",
    "english": "Do you consider the providing of water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-Haram equal to [the deeds of] those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and strive in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, mmewafanya kuwanywesha mahujaji na kuimarisha Msikiti Mtukufu kuwa sawa na yule anayemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho na akapigana jihadi katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu? Hawa hawalingani mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi watu madhalimu."

    "ayah": 20,
    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ",
    "english": "The ones who have believed, emigrated, and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank with Allah. And it is they who will be successful.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale walioamini na wakahama na wakapigana jihadi katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwa mali zao na nafsi zao, hao wana daraja kubwa zaidi mbele ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na hao ndio wenye kufaulu."

    "ayah": 21,
    "arabic": "يُبَشِّرُهُمْ رَبُّهُم بِرَحْمَةٍۢ مِّنْهُ وَرِضْوَٰنٍۢ وَجَنَّـٰتٍۢ لَّهُمْ فِيهَا نَعِيمٌۭ مُّقِيمٌ",
    "english": "Their Lord gives them glad tidings of mercy from Him, approval, and gardens wherein they will have enduring pleasure.",
    "kiswahili": "Mola wao Mlezi anawapa habari njema ya rehema kutoka Kwake na radhi, na bustani ambazo humo watapata neema ya kudumu."
  },
  {
    "surah": 9,
    "ayah": 22,
    "arabic": "خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "They will abide therein forever. Indeed, with Allah is a great reward.",
    "kiswahili": "Watadumu humo milele daima. Hakika kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ipo thawabu kubwa."

    "ayah": 23,
    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَكُمْ وَإِخْوَٰنَكُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ إِنِ ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلْكُفْرَ عَلَى ٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ",
    "english": "O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they prefer disbelief over faith. And whoever takes them as allies among you—then it is they who are the wrongdoers.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mlioamini! Msiwafanye baba zenu na ndugu zenu kuwa marafiki ikiwa watapendelea ukafiri kuliko Imani. Na atakayewafanya wao kuwa marafiki miongoni mwenu, basi hao ndio madhalimu."

    "ayah": 24,
    "arabic": "قُلْ إِن كَانَ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلٌ ٱقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَـٰرَةٌۭ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَـٰكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَآ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَجِهَادٍۢ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ",
    "english": "Say, if your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce whose decline you fear, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah brings about His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Ikiwa baba zenu, na wana wenu, na ndugu zenu, na wake zenu, na jamaa zenu, na mali mliyoichuma, na biashara mnayoihofia kuharibika, na nyumba mnazozipenda, iwapo vitu hivi viwapendekao zaidi kuliko Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake na jihadi katika Njia Yake, basi ngojeni mpaka Mwenyezi Mungu alete amri Yake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi watu waovu."

    "ayah": 25,
    "arabic": "لَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى مَوَاطِنَ كَثِيرَةٍۢ ۙ وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ ۙ إِذْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُم مُّدْبِرِينَ",
    "english": "Allah has already given you victory in many regions and on the Day of Hunayn, when your great number pleased you, but it did not avail you at all. And the earth was confining for you with its vastness; then you turned back fleeing.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amekunusuruni katika sehemu nyingi, na siku ya Hunayn, mlipofurahishwa na wingi wenu, lakini haikuwafaa kitu. Nchi ikawa nyembamba juu yenu, japokuwa ni pana, kisha mkageuka mkiwa wa kukimbia."

    "ayah": 26,
    "arabic": "ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنُودًۭا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ",
    "english": "Then Allah sent down His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers [angels] whom you did not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers.",

    "arabic": "ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Then Allah will accept repentance after that for whom He wills; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Kisha Mwenyezi Mungu atakubali toba baada ya hayo kwa amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwingi wa kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu."

    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌۭ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا۟ ٱلْمَسْجِدَ ٱلْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَـٰذَا ۚ وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةًۭ فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦٓ إِن شَآءَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mlioamini! Hakika washirikina ni najisi. Basi wasikaribie Msikiti Mtukufu baada ya mwaka huu wao. Na mkiogopa umasikini, basi Mwenyezi Mungu atakutajirisheni kwa fadhila Zake, akipenda. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi, Mwenye hikima."

    "arabic": "قَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ ٱلْحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ حَتَّىٰ يُعْطُوا۟ ٱلْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍۢ وَهُمْ صَـٰغِرُونَ",
    "english": "Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth—from those who were given the Scripture—until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.",
    "kiswahili": "Piganeni na wale wasiomuamini Mwenyezi Mungu wala Siku ya Mwisho, na hawaharamishi alichoharamisha Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake, wala hawafuati Dini ya Haki, miongoni mwa Watu wa Kitabu, mpaka watoe kodi kwa mkono hali ya kuwa wametii na wamedhalilika."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ٱبْنُ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَى ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ ٱللَّهِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۖ يُضَـٰهِـُٔونَ قَوْلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ قَـٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ",
    "english": "The Jews say, 'Ezra is the son of Allah'; and the Christians say, 'The Messiah is the son of Allah.' That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?",
    "kiswahili": "Wayahudi walisema: 'Uzayri ni mwana wa Mwenyezi Mungu.' Na Wakristo walisema: 'Masihi ni mwana wa Mwenyezi Mungu.' Hayo ni maneno yao kwa midomo yao. Wanayafanana na kauli za waliokufuru kabla yao. Mwenyezi Mungu awaangamize! Wanaendeshwa wapi?"

    "arabic": "ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَـٰنَهُمْ أَرْبَابًۭا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَـٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًۭا ۖ لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ",
    "english": "They have taken their rabbis and monks as lords besides Allah, and also the Messiah, the son of Mary. Yet they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.",
    "kiswahili": "Wamewafanya makuhani wao na watawa wao kuwa ni miungu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na pia Masihi mwana wa Maryamu. Wala hawakuamrishwa ila kumwabudu Mungu Mmoja tu; hapana mungu ila Yeye. Ametakasika Yeye na yale wanayoshirikisha."

    "arabic": "يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى ٱللَّهُ إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُۥ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ",
    "english": "They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, even though the disbelievers dislike it.",
    "kiswahili": "Wanataka kuizima nuru ya Mwenyezi Mungu kwa midomo yao, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu hataki ila kuikamilisha nuru yake, ijapokuwa makafiri wanaichukia."

    "arabic": "هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ ٱلْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّينِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ",
    "english": "It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, even though the polytheists dislike it.",
    "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye aliyemtuma Mtume Wake kwa uwongofu na dini ya haki, ili aidhihirishe juu ya dini zote, ijapokuwa washirikina watachukia."

    "arabic": "۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْبَارِ وَٱلرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَٰلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ ٱلذَّهَبَ وَٱلْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍۢ",
    "english": "O you who have believed, indeed many of the rabbis and monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert them from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the way of Allah – give them tidings of a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mlioamini! Hakika wengi katika makuhani na watawa wanakula mali za watu kwa batili na wanapotoa mbali na njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wale wanaokusanya dhahabu na fedha na hawazitumii katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wabashirie adhabu chungu."

    "arabic": "يَوْمَ يُحْمَىٰ عَلَيْهَا فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَىٰ بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ ۖ هَـٰذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ",
    "english": "The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], 'This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard.'",
    "kiswahili": "Siku ambayo mali hizo zitatiwa moto katika moto wa Jahannam, kisha zikachomwa nazo vipaji vya nyuso zao, na mbavu zao, na migongo yao. (Itasemwa:) Hii ndiyo mliyojikusanyia kwa ajili yenu. Basi onjeni mliyokuwa mkiyajikusanyia."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ عِدَّةَ ٱلشُّهُورِ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًۭا فِى كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ مِنْهَآ أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌۭ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْقَيِّمُ ۚ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا۟ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ وَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ كَآفَّةًۭ كَمَا يُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمْ كَآفَّةًۭ ۚ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ",
    "english": "Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah from the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the polytheists collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika idadi ya miezi kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni kumi na miwili katika Kitabu cha Mwenyezi Mungu tangu alipoziumba mbingu na ardhi. Katika hiyo, mine ni mitakatifu. Hiyo ndiyo dini ya haki. Basi msijidhulumu nafsi zenu humo. Na piganeni na washirikina kwa jumla kama wanavyopigana nanyi kwa jumla. Na jueni kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu yu pamoja na wachamngu."

    "arabic": "إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّسِىٓءُ زِيَادَةٌۭ فِى ٱلْكُفْرِ ۖ يُضَلُّ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُحِلُّونَهُۥ عَامًۭا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ عَامًۭا لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّوا۟ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ زُيِّنَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ أَعْمَـٰلِهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ",
    "english": "Postponing the sacred month is but an increase in disbelief by which those who disbelieve are led astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year, to correspond with the number that Allah has made unlawful, thus making lawful what Allah has forbidden. Their evil deeds have been made appealing to them, and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika kuahirisha mwezi mtakatifu ni nyongeza katika ukafiri, hufanywa wapotezwe kwa hilo wale waliokufuru. Huwahalalisha mwaka mmoja na kuuharamisha mwaka mwingine, ili wafanye sawasawa na idadi ya miezi aliyoharamisha Mwenyezi Mungu, hivyo hufanya halali walichoharamisha Mwenyezi Mungu. Matendo yao mabaya yamepambiwa kwao, na Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi watu makafiri."

    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مِنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌۭ",
    "english": "O you who believe! What is the matter with you that, when you are told to march forth in the cause of Allah, you cling heavily to the earth? Are you content with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But the enjoyment of the worldly life is little compared to the Hereafter.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mlioamini! Mna nini mnapoambiwa tokeni kwa ajili ya Mwenyezi Mungu mnakwama chini? Je, mmependezwa na maisha ya dunia badala ya Akhera? Lakini starehe ya maisha ya dunia ni kidogo tu mbele ya Akhera."

    "arabic": "إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا۟ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْـًۭٔا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ",
    "english": "If you do not march forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is capable of all things.",
    "kiswahili": "Msipotoka kwa ajili ya jihadi, Atakutesheni adhabu iumizayo na Atabadilisha na watu wengine badala yenu, wala hamtamdhurika kitu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza wa kila kitu."

    "arabic": "إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ثَانِىَ ٱثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِى ٱلْغَارِ إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَا ۖ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ وَأَيَّدَهُۥ بِجُنُودٍۢ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ ۗ وَكَلِمَةُ ٱللَّهِ هِىَ ٱلْعُلْيَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "If you do not help him, Allah has already helped him when those who disbelieved drove him out, the second of two, when they were in the cave, and he said to his companion, 'Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.' Then Allah sent down His tranquility upon him and supported him with forces you did not see, and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah is the highest. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Msipomnusuru, basi Mwenyezi Mungu alimnusuru pale waliomkufuru walipomtoa, akiwa wa pili katika wawili, walipokuwa katika pango, alipomwambia sahibu yake: Usihuzunike, hakika Mwenyezi Mungu yu pamoja nasi. Mwenyezi Mungu akamteremshia utulivu wake, akamuunga mkono kwa majeshi msiyoyaona, na akafanya neno la waliokufuru kuwa la chini, na neno la Mwenyezi Mungu ndilo la juu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima."

    "arabic": "ٱنفِرُوا۟ خِفَافًۭا وَثِقَالًۭا وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if only you knew.",
    "kiswahili": "Tokeni, mkiwa wepesi au wazito, na fanyeni jihadi kwa mali zenu na nafsi zenu katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hayo ni bora kwenu, lau mnajua."

    "arabic": "لَوْ كَانَ عَرَضًۭا قَرِيبًۭا وَسَفَرًۭا قَاصِدًۭا لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ وَلَـٰكِنۢ بَعُدَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلشُّقَّةُ ۚ وَسَيَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَوِ ٱسْتَطَعْنَا لَخَرَجْنَا مَعَكُمْ يُهْلِكُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ",
    "english": "If it had been a near gain and an easy journey, they would have followed you, but the distance was too far for them. Yet they will swear by Allah, 'If we could, we would certainly have gone out with you.' They destroy themselves, and Allah knows that they are indeed liars.",
    "kiswahili": "Lau ingelikuwa faida ya karibu na safari nyepesi wangelikufuata, lakini safari iliwachosha. Hata hivyo, wataapa kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu: Lau tungeliweza, tungelitoka pamoja nanyi. Hujihangamiza nafsi zao, na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua kuwa hakika wao ni waongo."

    "arabic": "عَفَا ٱللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَتَعْلَمَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ",
    "english": "May Allah pardon you! Why did you give them permission, until it became clear to you who was truthful and you knew the liars?",
    "kiswahili": "Mwenyezi Mungu amekusamehe! Kwa nini uliwapa ruhusa kabla ya kujua nani wakweli na kuwajua waongo?"

    "arabic": "لَا يَسْتَـْٔذِنُكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ أَن يُجَـٰهِدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلْمُتَّقِينَ",
    "english": "Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day do not ask you for exemption from striving with their wealth and their lives. And Allah is Knowing of the righteous.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale wanaoamini kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho hawatakutaka ruhusa ya kutojihusisha kwa mali zao na nafsi zao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anawajua wachamungu."

    "arabic": "إِنَّمَا يَسْتَـْٔذِنُكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَٱرْتَابَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِى رَيْبِهِمْ يَتَرَدَّدُونَ",
    "english": "It is only those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, and whose hearts are in doubt, that ask you for exemption. So in their doubt they waver.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika wanaokutaka ruhusa ni wale wasioamini kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho, na nyoyo zao zina shaka, basi wako katika shaka yao wakihangaika."

    "arabic": "وَلَوْ أَرَادُوا۟ ٱلْخُرُوجَ لَأَعَدُّوا۟ لَهُۥ عُدَّةًۭ وَلَـٰكِن كَرِهَ ٱللَّهُ ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمْ فَثَبَّطَهُمْ وَقِيلَ ٱقْعُدُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْقَـٰعِدِينَ",
    "english": "And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He held them back, and it was said, 'Stay behind with those who stay.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na lau wangelitaka kutoka, wangelijiandalia maandalio. Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu hakupenda kutoka kwao, basi akawazuia, na ikasemwa: Kaeni pamoja na wanaokaa."

    "arabic": "لَوْ خَرَجُوا۟ فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمْ إِلَّا خَبَالًۭا وَلَأَوْضَعُوا۟ خِلَـٰلَكُمْ يَبْغُونَكُمُ ٱلْفِتْنَةَ وَفِيكُمْ سَمَّـٰعُونَ لَهُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ",
    "english": "Had they gone out with you, they would not have increased you except in trouble, and they would have hurried about among you, seeking to cause you discord. And among you are some who would listen to them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.",
    "kiswahili": "Lau wangekutokeni, hawangekuzidieni ila fitina, na wangeliingia kati yenu kutaka kukuleteeni mafitini. Na miongoni mwenu wapo wasikilizaji wao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anawajua madhalimu."

    "arabic": "لَقَدِ ٱبْتَغَوُا۟ ٱلْفِتْنَةَ مِن قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأُمُورَ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَـٰرِهُونَ",
    "english": "They had already sought to cause discord before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the command of Allah prevailed, while they disliked it.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika walikwisha tafuta fitina kabla, na wakakupindulia mambo, mpaka ikaja Haki na ukaonekana amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu, nao wamechukia."

    "arabic": "وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ٱئْذَن لِّى وَلَا تَفْتِنِّىٓ ۚ أَلَا فِى ٱلْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُوا۟ ۗ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ",
    "english": "And among them is he who says, 'Grant me permission and do not put me to trial.' Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers.",
    "kiswahili": "Na miongoni mwao yupo asemae: Nipe ruhusa wala usinijaribu. Hakika wao wamekwisha angukia katika jaribio. Na hakika Jahannamu inawazunguka makafiri."

    "arabic": "إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌۭ تَسُؤْهُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌۭ يَقُولُوا۟ قَدْ أَخَذْنَآ أَمْرَنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّهُمْ فَرِحُونَ",
    "english": "If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if a disaster strikes you, they say, 'We took our precaution beforehand,' and they turn away rejoicing.",
    "kiswahili": "Ikikupata kheri inawahuzunisha, na ikikupata msiba husema: Tumekwisha jitahidi kabla. Kisha hugeuka nao wanafurahia."

    "arabic": "قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَآ إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلَىٰنَا ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Nothing will ever befall us except what Allah has decreed for us; He is our Protector.' And in Allah let the believers put their trust.",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Hakitutokei ila kile alicho kiandika Mwenyezi Mungu kwetu. Yeye ndiye Mlinzi wetu. Na Waumini na wamtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu."

    "arabic": "قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ إِلَّآ إِحْدَى ٱلْحُسْنَيَيْنِ ۖ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابٍۢ مِّنْ عِندِهِۦٓ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا ۖ فَتَرَبَّصُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Do you await for us except one of the two best outcomes? But we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or by our hands. So wait; indeed we, along with you, are waiting.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Hamtungojei ila moja katika mbili njema. Na sisi tunakungojeni kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu atakupateni adhabu kutoka kwake au kwa mikono yetu. Basi ngojeni, hakika sisi pamoja nanyi tunangoja."

    "arabic": "قُلْ أَنفِقُوا۟ طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًۭا لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنكُمْ ۖ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا فَـٰسِقِينَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Spend willingly or unwillingly; never will it be accepted from you. Indeed, you are a defiantly disobedient people.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Toeni kwa hiari au kwa kulazimishwa, kamwe halitakubaliwa kwenu. Hakika nyinyi ni watu waovu."

    "arabic": "وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كَـٰرِهُونَ",
    "english": "And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them is only that they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, and that they do not come to prayer except while lazy, and that they do not spend except while unwilling.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakuwazuilia kwamba malipo yao yakubaliwe ila kuwa walimkufuru Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, na wala hawaji kusali ila kwa uvivu, na wala hawatoi ila kwa kuchukia."

    "arabic": "فَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ",
    "english": "So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to torment them with these in worldly life, and that their souls should depart while they are disbelievers.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi yasikupendeze mali yao wala watoto wao. Mwenyezi Mungu anataka tu kuwatesa navyo katika maisha ya dunia, na zitatoka roho zao nao ni makafiri."

    "arabic": "وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌۭ يَفْرَقُونَ",
    "english": "They swear by Allah that they are from among you, but they are not of you; they are only a people who are afraid.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanaapa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwamba hakika wao ni katika nyinyi, kumbe wao si katika nyinyi. Lakini wao ni watu wanaoogopa."

    "arabic": "لَوْ يَجِدُونَ مَلْجَـًٔا أَوْ مَغَـٰرَٰتٍ أَوْ مُدَّخَلًۭا لَّوَلَّوْا۟ إِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَجْمَحُونَ",
    "english": "If they could find a refuge or caves or any place to enter, they would turn to it while rushing headlong.",
    "kiswahili": "Lau wangelipata pahali pa kukimbilia, au mapango, au mahali pa kuingia, bila ya shaka wangelikimbilia huko kwa mbio."

    "arabic": "وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِى ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُوا۟ مِنْهَا رَضُوا۟ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْا۟ مِنْهَآ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ",
    "english": "And among them are those who criticize you concerning the distribution of charities. If they are given from them, they are pleased; but if they are not given, at once they are enraged.",
    "kiswahili": "Na katika wao wako wanao kukashifu katika sadaka. Wakitolewa humo huwa wameridhika, na wasipotiwa humo mara wanaghadhibika."

    "arabic": "وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَقَالُوا۟ حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ رَٰغِبُونَ",
    "english": "If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and so will His Messenger. Indeed, we are desirous toward Allah.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na lau wangeliridhia yale aliyowapa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, na wakasema: Anatosha kwetu Mwenyezi Mungu; Mwenyezi Mungu atatupa katika fadhila zake, na Mtume wake. Hakika sisi tunamnyenyekea Mwenyezi Mungu."

    "arabic": "إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِ وَٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلْغَـٰرِمِينَ وَفِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۖ فَرِيضَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Charities are only for the poor, the needy, those employed to collect them, those whose hearts are to be reconciled, for freeing captives, for those in debt, in the cause of Allah, and for the stranded traveler—an obligation from Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika sadaka hupewa maskini na mafakiri na wanao yazitumikia, na wanaotiwa nguvu nyoyo zao, na katika kuwakomboa mateka, na wenye madeni, na katika Njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na wasafiri. Ni faradhi itokayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi Mwenye hikima."

    "arabic": "وَمِنْهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ ٱلنَّبِىَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌۭ ۚ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍۢ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And among them are those who hurt the Prophet and say, 'He is an ear.' Say, 'An ear of goodness for you. He believes in Allah and trusts the believers, and is a mercy to those of you who believe.' But those who harm the Messenger of Allah will have a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na katika wao wapo wanaomuudhi Nabii na kusema: Yeye ni sikio. Sema: Ni sikio la kheri kwenu, anakiamini Mwenyezi Mungu, na kuwakubalia Waumini, na ni rehema kwa wale walio amini kati yenu. Na wanaomuudhi Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, watapata adhabu chungu."

    "arabic": "يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "They swear by Allah to you to satisfy you, but Allah and His Messenger are more worthy that they should satisfy Him, if they are truly believers.",
    "kiswahili": "Wanakuapieni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ili kukuridhisheni, na Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake ndio wanaostahiki zaidi kuridhiwa, ikiwa wao ni Waumini."

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ مَن يُحَادِدِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَأَنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدًۭا فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخِزْىُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ",
    "english": "Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, his recompense will be the Fire of Hell, to abide therein forever? That is the great disgrace.",
    "kiswahili": "Je! Hawajui kwamba anayempinga Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, basi atakuwa na Moto wa Jahannamu, humo atadumu? Huo ndio fedheha kubwa."

    "arabic": "يَحْذَرُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌۭ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ قُلِ ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْرِجٌۭ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ",
    "english": "The hypocrites are afraid lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, 'Mock [as you wish]; indeed Allah will expose that which you fear.'",
    "kiswahili": "Wanafiki wanaogopa kwamba itateremshwa juu yao Sura itakayowaambia yale yaliyo katika nyoyo zao. Sema: Fanyeni mzaha! Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu atatoa wazi mnayoyaogopa."

    "arabic": "وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوضُ وَنَلْعَبُ ۚ قُلْ أَبِٱللَّهِ وَءَايَـٰتِهِۦ وَرَسُولِهِۦ كُنتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِءُونَ",
    "english": "And if you ask them, they will surely say, 'We were only conversing and playing.' Say, 'Was it Allah, His verses, and His Messenger that you were mocking?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na ukiwauliza bila shaka watasema: Tulikuwa tukizungumzia tu na kucheza. Sema: Je! Mlikuwa mnamfanyia mzaha Mwenyezi Mungu na Aya zake na Mtume wake?"

    "arabic": "لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ ۚ إِن نَّعْفُ عَن طَآئِفَةٍۢ مِّنكُمْ نُعَذِّبْ طَآئِفَةًۢ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ",
    "english": "Do not make excuses; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon a faction of you, We will punish another faction because they were criminals.",
    "kiswahili": "Msiombe udhuru; mmekwisha kufuru baada ya kuamini kwenu. Tukiwaghufiria kundi moja miongoni mwenu, tutaliadhibu kundi jingine kwa sababu walikuwa wakosefu."

    "arabic": "ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُ بَعْضُهُم مِّنۢ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَقْبِضُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ ۚ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ",
    "english": "The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Indeed, the hypocrites - it is they who are defiantly disobedient.",
    "kiswahili": "Wanafiki wanaume na wanafiki wanawake ni katika wenzao. Huwamuru maovu na hukataza mema na hukaza mikono yao. Wamesahau Mwenyezi Mungu, basi Yeye amewasahau. Hakika wanafiki ndio wapotovu."

    "ayah": 68,
    "arabic": "وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ هِىَ حَسْبُهُمْ ۚ وَلَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ مُّقِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the disbelievers the Fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally. It is sufficient for them. And Allah has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Mwenyezi Mungu amewaahidi wanafiki wanaume na wanafiki wanawake, na makafiri, Moto wa Jahannam watadumu humo milele. Huo ndio unatosha kwao. Na Mwenyezi Mungu amewalaani, na watakuwa na adhabu isiyo na kikomo."

    "arabic": "كَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةًۭ وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَٰلًۭا وَأَوْلَـٰدًۭا فَٱسْتَمْتَعُوا۟ بِخَلَـٰقِهِمْ فَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلَـٰقِكُمْ كَمَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُم بِخَلَـٰقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَٱلَّذِى خَاضُوٓا۟ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ",
    "english": "[You are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their share, and you have enjoyed your share as those before you enjoyed their share, and you indulged as they indulged. It is they whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers.",
    "kiswahili": "Ninyi mnafanana na wale waliokuwa kabla yenu; walikuwa na nguvu zaidi kuliko ninyi, na walikuwa na mali nyingi na watoto wengi. Wakafaidika kwa sehemu yao, na nyinyi mmefaidika kwa sehemu yenu kama walivyofaidi wale kabla yenu kwa sehemu yao, na mkaingia katika mambo ya upuzi kama walivyoingia wao. Hao ndio ambao vitendo vyao vimepotea duniani na Akhera, na hao ndio wenye hasara."

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٍۢ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَأَصْحَـٰبِ مَدْيَنَ وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَـٰتِ ۚ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ",
    "english": "Has there not reached them the news of those before them—the people of Noah and ʿAad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the overturned cities? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.",
    "kiswahili": "Je! Hawajawafikia habari za wale waliokuwa kabla yao – kaumu ya Nuhu, na A'adi, na Thamudi, na kaumu ya Ibrahim, na watu wa Madyan, na miji iliyopinduliwa? Mitume wao iliwajia na hoja zilizo wazi. Wala Mwenyezi Mungu hakuwa wa kuwadhulumu, lakini wao walikuwa wakijidhulumu wenyewe."

    "ayah": 71,
    "arabic": "وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. It is they whom Allah will have mercy upon. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Waumini wanaume na waumini wanawake ni rafiki na wasaidizi wao kwa wao. Huwamuru mema na hukataza maovu na husimamisha Sala na hutoa Zaka na humtii Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake. Hao ndio Mwenyezi Mungu atawarehemu. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima."

    "ayah": 72,
    "arabic": "وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَـٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةًۭ فِى جَنَّـٰتِ عَدْنٍۢ ۚ وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ",
    "english": "Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. But approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.",
    "kiswahili": "Mwenyezi Mungu amewaahidi waumini wanaume na waumini wanawake Bustani zipitazo mito chini yake, watadumu humo, na maskani mazuri katika Bustani za milele. Na radhi kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ndiyo kubwa zaidi. Huo ndio ndio ushindi mkubwa."

    "ayah": 73,
    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ جَـٰهِدِ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ وَٱغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ",
    "english": "O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.",
    "kiswahili": "Ewe Nabii! Piga jihadi dhidi ya makafiri na wanafiki, na uwe mgumu kwao. Na makaazi yao ni Jahannam, na huo ndio mwisho mbaya."

    "arabic": "يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ مَا قَالُوا۟ وَلَقَدْ قَالُوا۟ كَلِمَةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بَعْدَ إِسْلَـٰمِهِمْ وَهَمُّوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ ۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَنْ أَغْنَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ فَإِن يَتُوبُوا۟ يَكُ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا۟ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍۢ",
    "english": "They swear by Allah that they did not say anything [against the Prophet], while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their submission. And they had planned that which they were not to attain. And they resented not except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them from His bounty. So if they repent, it will be better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And they will not have on earth any protector or helper.",
    "kiswahili": "Wanamuapia Mwenyezi Mungu kwamba hawakusema, na kweli walisema neno la ukafiri na wakakufuru baada ya kusilimu kwao, na wakanuia jambo wasiloweza kulifikia. Wala hawakuchukia ila kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake waliwatajirisha kwa fadhila yake. Basi wakitubu itakuwa kheri kwao, na wakigeuka Mwenyezi Mungu atawaadhibu adhabu chungu katika dunia na Akhera. Wala hawatakuwa na mlinzi wala msaidizi katika ardhi."

    "arabic": "وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ عَـٰهَدَ ٱللَّهَ لَئِنْ ءَاتَىٰنَا مِن فَضْلِهِۦ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ",
    "english": "And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah, [saying], 'If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na miongoni mwao wako waliomuahidi Mwenyezi Mungu wakasema: Akitupa fadhila yake tutatoa sadaka kwa hakika, na bila shaka tutakuwa miongoni mwa watu wema."

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ بَخِلُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ",
    "english": "But when He gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they were averse.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini alipowapa kutoka fadhila Yake, walibakiza kwa ubinafsi na wakageuka huku wakiepa."

    "arabic": "فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًۭا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ بِمَآ أَخْلَفُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ",
    "english": "So He caused hypocrisy to settle in their hearts until the Day they meet Him, because they broke Allah's covenant and were lying.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi alipandikiza nifaqo mioyoni mwao hadi Siku watakapo Mkutana, kwa sababu walikiuka ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu na walikuwa wakidai uongo."

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَىٰهُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ",
    "english": "Do they not know that Allah knows their secret talk and private counsels and that Allah is the Knower of the unseen?",
    "kiswahili": "Je! Hawajui kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu anajua mazungumzo yao ya siri na mipango yao ya faragha, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mjuzi wa yaliyofichika?"

    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ ٱلْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِى ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ ۙ سَخِرَ ٱللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ",
    "english": "Those who slander the voluntarily charitable among the believers and ridicule those who find nothing but their effort, Allah ridiculed them, and they will have a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale wanaowazushia wasaidizi wa hiari miongoni mwa waumini kuhusu sadaka na kuwacheka wale wasio na kitu isipokuwa juhudi zao, Mwenyezi Mungu amewaudhi, na watakuwa na adhabu chungu."

    "arabic": "ٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةًۭ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسقِينَ",
    "english": "Whether you ask forgiveness for them or not, seventy times, Allah will never forgive them; that is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.",
    "kiswahili": "Usiombe radhi kwao au usiombe, hata mara sabini, Mwenyezi Mungu hatowaghufuria; hiyo ni kwa sababu walikufuru kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake, na Mwenyezi Mungu haongozi watu wa upotovu."

    "arabic": "فَرِحَ ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلَـٰفَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوٓا۟ أَن يُجَـٰهِدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَنفِرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْحَرِّ ۗ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّۭا ۚ لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَفْقَهُونَ",
    "english": "Those left behind rejoiced in staying behind from the Messenger and disliked striving with their wealth and selves in the way of Allah, saying, 'Do not march in the heat.' Say, 'The Fire of Hell is more intense in heat, if they but understood.'",
    "kiswahili": "Wale waliobaki walifurahia kukaa nyuma ya Mtume na walikataza kutumia mali na nafsi zao katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wakisema, 'Msipande kwenye joto.' Sema, 'Moto wa Jahannam ni mkali zaidi, iwapo wangekuwa na ufahamu.'"

    "arabic": "فَلْيَضْحَكُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا وَلْيَبْكُوا۟ كَثِيرًۭا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ",
    "english": "Let them laugh a little, but they will weep much as a reward for what they used to earn.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala waicheke kidogo, na watalia sana kama malipo kwa yale waliyokuwa wakiyapata."

    "arabic": "فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَىٰ طَآئِفَةٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ فَٱسْتَـْٔذَنُوكَ لِلْخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخْرُجُوا۟ مَعِىَ أَبَدًۭا وَلَن تُقَـٰتِلُوا۟ مَعِىَ عَدُوًّا ۖ إِنَّكُمْ رَضِيتُم بِٱلْقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ فَٱقْعُدُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْخَـٰلِفِينَ",
    "english": "So if Allah returns you to a group of them, they will ask permission to go forth; say, 'You shall never go forth with me, nor fight an enemy with me. Indeed, you were content to remain behind the first time, so remain with the laggards.'",
    "kiswahili": "Basi kama Mwenyezi Mungu atakurudisha kwa kundi moja lao, watakuomba ruhusa ya kutoka; sema, 'Hatawala kutoka nami kamwe, wala kutapigana na adui nami. Hakika mlifarijika kukaa nyuma mara ya kwanza, basi kaa na wale waliobaki.'"

    "arabic": "وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُم مَّاتَ أَبَدًۭا وَلَا تَقُمْ عَلَىٰ قَبْرِهِۦٓ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ",
    "english": "And do not pray over any of them who dies ever, nor stand at their graves; indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala usalishe mtu kati yao atakaye kufa kamwe, wala usimame juu ya kaburi lao; hakika walikufuru kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake na walikufa wakiwa wakiupuuza utii."

    "arabic": "وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَأَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَـٰفِرُونَ",
    "english": "And let not their wealth and children impress you; Allah intends only to punish them through them in this world, and their souls will depart while they are disbelievers.",
    "kiswahili": "Na usivutiwe na mali zao na watoto wao; Mwenyezi Mungu anataka tu kuwaadhibu kupitia hivyo duniani, na nafsi zao zitaondoka wakiwa wakikufuru."

    "arabic": "وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَكَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ ٱلْقَـٰعِدِينَ",
    "english": "And when a surah is revealed, 'Believe in Allah and strive with His Messenger,' the wealthy among them ask your permission and say, 'Let us remain with those who stay behind.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati sura inapoangaziwa, 'Amini kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na piganeni pamoja na Mtume Wake,' wenye mali miongoni mwao watakuomba ruhusa na kusema, 'Tuweze kubaki na wale waliobaki.'"

    "arabic": "رَضُوا۟ بِأَن يَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ",
    "english": "They are content to be with the laggards, and a seal has been set upon their hearts, so they do not understand.",
    "kiswahili": "Walifurahia kuwa na waliobaki, na mnado umetolewa kwenye mioyo yao, hivyo hawaelewi."

    "arabic": "لَـٰكِنِ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتُ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ",
    "english": "But the Messenger and those who believed with him strove with their wealth and selves, and it is they who will have the good things; it is they who are successful.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini Mtume na wale waliomwamini pamoja naye walipigania kwa mali zao na nafsi zao; ninyi ndiyo watakao pata mema, na ninyi ndio wenye kufaulu."

    "arabic": "أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ",
    "english": "Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever; that is the great success.",
    "kiswahili": "Mwenyezi Mungu amewaandalia paradiso zilizo na mito chini yake, wakaishi humo milele; hiyo ndiyo mafanikio makubwa."

    "arabic": "وَجَآءَ ٱلْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ وَقَعَدَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And the excusers from the Bedouins came to be permitted, while those who lied to Allah and His Messenger sat back; a painful punishment will strike those who disbelieve among them.",
    "kiswahili": "Na walioomba msamaha kutoka Wakaraboo walikuja kuombewa ruhusa, huku wale waliodanganya Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake wakikaa nyuma; adhabu chungu itawapata wale wa kufuru miongoni mwao."

    "arabic": "لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱلضُّعَفَآءِ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْمَرْضَىٰ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ مَا يُنفِقُونَ حَرَجٌ إِذَا نَصَحُوا۟ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۚ مَا عَلَى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ مِن سَبِيلٍۢ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "There is no blame upon the weak, nor the sick, nor those who find nothing to spend if they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger; Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakuna hatia kwa wanyonge, wagonjwa, au wale wasio na mali ya kutoa iwapo wanatenda kwa uaminifu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake; Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehe, Mwema."

    "arabic": "وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا مَآ أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَآ أَجِدُ مَآ أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ تَوَلَّوا۟ وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا أَلَّا يَجِدُوا۟ مَا يُنفِقُونَ",
    "english": "Nor upon those who, when you come to them to carry them, you say, 'I do not find what to carry you on,' they turn away, and their eyes flow with tears from grief that they found nothing to spend.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala si kwa wale ambao, ukiwafika kuwatuma, unasema, 'Sijaona cha kuwaondoa,' wanageuka, na macho yao yanatiririka kwa machozi kwa huzuni kwamba hawakupata cha kutoa."

    "arabic": "إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَآءُ ۚ رَضُوا۟ بِأَن يَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "The way is only for those who ask your permission, being rich; they were content to stay with the laggards, and Allah has set a seal upon their hearts, so they do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Njia ni kwa wale tu wanaokuomba ruhusa, wakimiliki mali; walifarijika kubaki na waliobaki, na Mwenyezi Mungu ametia mnado mioyoni mwao, hivyo hawaelewi."

    "arabic": "يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُل لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا ٱللَّهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚ وَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "They will apologize to you when you return to them; say, 'Do not apologize; We will never believe you. Allah has already informed us of your news, and Allah and His Messenger will see your deeds; then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.'",
    "kiswahili": "Watakuomba msamaha mnarudisha kwenu; sema, 'Msije kuomba msamaha; hatutaamini ninyi kamwe. Mwenyezi Mungu tayari ametufahamisha habari zenu, na Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake watashuhudia matendo yenu; kisha mtarudishwa kwa Mjuzi wa yaliyofichika na yaliyo wazi, naye atawajulisha mliyokuwa mnafanya.'"

    "arabic": "سَيَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لِتُعْرِضُوا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَأَعْرِضُوا۟ عَنْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ رِجْسٌۭ ۖ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ",
    "english": "They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them to turn away from them; so turn away from them. Indeed, they are filth, and their abode is Hell, as a recompense for what they used to earn.",
    "kiswahili": "Watakutia kiapo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu mnarudi kwenu ili kuwatenga; basi watengenezee mbali. Hakika wao ni uchafu, na makazi yao ni Jahannamu, kama malipo kwa yale waliyokuwa wakiyapata."

    "arabic": "يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ",
    "english": "They swear to you so that you might be pleased with them; but if you are pleased with them, Allah is not pleased with the defiantly disobedient people.",
    "kiswahili": "Wanakutia kiapo ili uwe wa kuridhika nao; lakini ukiwa umewaridhia, Mwenyezi Mungu haawaridhii watu wa upotovu."

    "arabic": "ٱلْأَعْرابُ أَشَدُّ كُفْرًۭا وَنِفَاقًۭا وَأَجْدَرُ أَلَّا يَعْلَمُوا۟ حُدُودَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "The Bedouins are more extreme in disbelief and hypocrisy and are less likely to know the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is Knowing, Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Wakaraboo wapo wakali zaidi katika kufuru na nifaqo, na wapo hatarajiwi kufahamu mipaka ya yale Mwenyezi Mungu amemwabisha Mtume Wake; Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi, Mwenye Hekima."

    "arabic": "وَمِنَ ٱلْأَعْرابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًۭا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ ٱلدَّوَآئِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَآئِرَةُ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Among the Bedouins are some who spend with regret and await calamities for you. For them is a circle of evil, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.",
    "kiswahili": "Miongoni mwa Wakaraboo wapo wanaotumia mali kwa huzuni na kuwatazama majanga kwenu. Kwao kuna mduara wa maovu, na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msikizi, Mjuzi."

    "arabic": "وَمِنَ ٱلْأَعْرابِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَـٰتٍ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَصَلَوَٰتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ ۚ أَلَآ إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌۭ لَّهُمْ ۚ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And among the Bedouins are those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and spend for Allah’s cause and for the prayers of the Messenger; indeed, that is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.",

    "arabic": "وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ وَٱلْأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَـٰنٍۢ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى تَحْتَهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ",
    "english": "The foremost are the first to emigrate and the Ansar and those who follow them in goodness. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever. That is the great success.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale walioongoza ni wa kwanza kuhamia na Ansar na wale wanaowafuata kwa wema. Mwenyezi Mungu amewaridhia, nao wamewaridhia, na amewaandalia paradiso zilizo na mito chini yake, wakaishi humo milele. Hayo ndiyo mafanikio makubwa."

    "arabic": "وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ مُنَـٰفِقُونَ ۖ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ۖ مَرَدُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنِّفَاقِ لَا تَعْلَمُهُمْ ۖ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٍۢ",
    "english": "And among those around you of the Bedouins are hypocrites, and among the people of Medina; they persist in hypocrisy—you do not know them, but We know them. We will punish them twice, then they will be returned to a great punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na miongoni mwa wale walioko karibu nanyi miongoni mwa Wakaraboo wapo wanaonifaqo, na miongoni mwa watu wa Madina; wanabaki kwenye nifaqo—hawaitambui, lakini Sisi tunawajua. Tutawaadhibu mara mbili, kisha watorudishwa kwenye adhabu kubwa."

    "arabic": "وءَاخَرُونَ ٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُوا۟ عَمَلًۭا صَـٰلِحًۭا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ",
    "english": "And others have acknowledged their sins, mixing good deeds with bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in mercy; indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Wengine wamekubali dhambi zao, wakichanganya matendo mema na mabaya. Labda Mwenyezi Mungu atawasamehe; hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehe, Mwema."

    "arabic": "خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ صَدَقَةًۭ تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّ صَلَوٰتَكَ سَكَنٌۭ لَّهُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Take from their wealth a charity to purify and sanctify them, and pray for them; your prayer is a comfort for them. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing.",
    "kiswahili": "Chukua kutoka mali zao sadaka ili kuwa safisha na kuwazika mema, na wasalishie; sala yako ni faraja kwao. Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msikizi, Mjuzi."

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ ٱلتَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَأْخُذُ ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ",
    "english": "Do they not know that Allah accepts repentance from His servants and takes charities, and that Allah is the Accepter of Repentance, the Merciful?",
    "kiswahili": "Je! Hawajui kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu anakubali toba kutoka kwa watumishi Wake na huchukua sadaka, na kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Anayekubali Toba, Mwema?"

    "arabic": "وَقُلِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "And say, 'Do deeds,' for Allah will see your deeds, His Messenger, and the believers will see them; and you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.",
    "kiswahili": "Na sema, 'Fanya matendo,' kwani Mwenyezi Mungu atayaona matendo yenu, Mtume Wake na waumini watawayaona; na mtarudishwa kwa Mjuzi wa yaliyofichika na yaliyo wazi, naye atawajulisha mliyokuwa mnafanya."

    "arabic": "وءَاخَرُونَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِأَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And others are left to the decision of Allah; He may punish them or accept their repentance. And Allah is Knowing, Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Wengine wapo katika hukumu ya Mwenyezi Mungu; Anaweza kuwaadhibu au wakubali toba yao. Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi, Mwenye Hekima."

    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مَسْجِدًۭا ضِرَارًۭا وَكُفْرًۭا وَتَفْرِيقًۢا بَيْنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًۭا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ",
    "english": "And those who took a mosque for harm and disbelief and to cause division among the believers and as an ambush for those who fought Allah and His Messenger before, they swear that they intended only good; but Allah bears witness that they are liars.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale waliotengeneza msikiti kwa madhara na kufuru na kuleta mgawanyiko miongoni mwa waumini na kuwa kambano kwa wale waliopigana na Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake awali, wanakutia kiapo kwamba walitaka mema tu; lakini Mwenyezi Mungu ushuhudia kwamba wao ni waongo."

    "arabic": "لَا تَقُمْ فِيهِ أَبَدًۭا ۚ لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِ ۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٌۭ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُوا۟ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُطَّهِّرِينَ",
    "english": "Do not stand therein. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more deserving that you stand in it. In it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.",
    "kiswahili": "Usalishe humo milele. Msikiti uliowekwa msingi wa taqwa tangu siku ya kwanza unastahili zaidi kusimama humo. Kati yake wapo wanaopenda kujisafisha, na Mwenyezi Mungu anapenda wasafi."

    "arabic": "أَفَمَنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَـٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ تَقْوَىٰ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنٍ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَـٰنَهُۥ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍۢ فَٱنْهَارَ بِهِۦ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ",
    "english": "Is he who laid the foundation of his building on piety with Allah’s pleasure better, or he who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a slippery slope so that it collapsed into the Fire? Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, ambae ameweka msingi wa jengo lake kwa taqwa na kuridhika kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni bora, au ambae ameweka msingi wake kwenye kingo ya mteremko hatari kiasi kwamba ikashushuka katika Moto? Mwenyezi Mungu hawapelei watu wa dhulma."

    "arabic": "لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَـٰنُهُمُ ٱلَّذِى بَنَوْا۟ رِيبَةًۭ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَّآ أَن تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ",
    "english": "Their building which they built will never cease to cause doubt in their hearts until their hearts are cut to pieces. And Allah is Knowing, Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Jengo lao walilojenga halitaacha kuleta shaka katika mioyo yao isipokuwa mioyo yao itakaposagwa. Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mjuzi, Mwenye Hekima."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۚ يُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّۭا فِى ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ۚ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِۦ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَٱسْتَبْشِرُوا۟ بِبَيْعِكُمُ ٱلَّذِى بَايَعْتُم بِهِۦ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ",
    "english": "Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their wealth in exchange for Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. This is a true promise in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. And who fulfills his covenant better than Allah? So rejoice in the bargain you have made, and that is the great success.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amenunua kutoka kwa waumini nafsi zao na mali zao kwa Paradiso. Wanapigana katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wanaua na wauawe. Hii ni ahadi ya kweli katika Torati, Injili na Qur'ani. Na nani anayetekeleza agano lake vizuri zaidi kuliko Mwenyezi Mungu? Furahini katika mkatano wenu; huo ndio mafanikio makubwa."

    "arabic": "ٱلتَّـٰٓئِبُونَ ٱلْعَـٰبِدُونَ ٱلْحَـٰمِدُونَ ٱلسَّـٰٓئِحُونَ ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدُونَ ٱلْـَٔامِرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱلنَّاهُونَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱلْحَـٰفِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "The repentant, the worshippers, the praise-givers, those who travel seeking Allah’s bounty, those who bow and prostrate, those who enjoin good and forbid evil, and those who maintain Allah’s limits. Give good news to the believers.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale wanaotoroka dhambi, waabudu, wasifu, wanasafiri kwa ajili ya kheri ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wanaonyenyeka na kusujudu, wanaopendekeza mema na kuzuia mabaya, na wale wanaohifadhi mipaka ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Wape habari njema waumini."

    "arabic": "مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِىِّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوٓا۟ أُو۟لِى قُرْبَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ",
    "english": "It was not fitting for the Prophet and those who believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were close relatives, after it was made clear to them that they are companions of the Fire.",
    "kiswahili": "Haikuwa inafaa kwa Mtume na waumini kuomba msamaha kwa waislamu wa mnyonge, hata kama walikuwa ndugu wa karibu, baada ya kuwa wazi kuwa wao ni wafuasi wa Moto."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كَانَ ٱسْتِغْفَارُ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوْعِدَةٍۢ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوٌّۭ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And Abraham’s seeking forgiveness for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him; but when it became clear to him that he was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated from him. Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kuomba msamaha kwa Ibrahim kwa baba yake ilikuwa kwa sababu ya ahadi aliyompa; lakini alipoona wazi kuwa baba yake ni adui wa Mwenyezi Mungu, alimtenga. Hakika Ibrahim alikuwa mnyenyekevu, mpole."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًۢا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ",
    "english": "And Allah would not let a people go astray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should guard against. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Mwenyezi Mungu hatoziisha watu kufeli baada ya kuwaongoza hadi waonyeshe nini cha kutawanyia. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu anajua kila kitu."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۚ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ",
    "english": "Indeed, Allah’s is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have no protector or helper besides Allah.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mmiliki wa mbingu na nchi; Huamsha na huua. Ninyi hamna mlezi wala msaidizi isipokuwa Mwenyezi Mungu."

    "arabic": "لَّقَد تَّابَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ وَٱلْأَنصَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ فِى سَاعَةِ ٱلْعُسْرَةِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِهِمْ رَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Indeed, Allah has turned in mercy to the Prophet, the emigrants, and the Ansar who followed him during the time of hardship after a group of them hearts almost swerved, then He accepted their repentance. Indeed, He is Kind, Merciful to them.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amewasamehe Mtume, Wahijiri na Ansar waliomfuata katika wakati wa taabu baada ya sehemu ya mioyo yao kukosa mstari, kisha akawabali. Hakika Yeye ni Mwema, Mpole kwao."

    "ayah": 118,
    "arabic": "وَعَلَى ٱلثَّلَـٰثَةِ ٱلَّذِينَ خُلِّفُوا۟ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَن لَّا مَلْجَأَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّآ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوبُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ",
    "english": "And as for the three who were left behind, when the earth seemed constricted for them despite its vastness and their souls felt tight and they thought there was no refuge from Allah except Him, then He turned to them so that they might repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepter of Repentance, Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale watatu waliobaki, wakati dunia ilionekana kuwa nyembamba kwao licha ya upeo wake na nafsi zao zikahisi kukwamishwa, wakadhani hakuna kimbilio isipokuwa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, kisha Yeye akawaonyesha msamaha ili watoboe. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Anayekubali Toba, Mwema."

    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ اتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ",
    "english": "O you who believe! Fear Allah and be with the truthful.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mnaoamini! Kwa hofu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, kuwa pamoja na waaminifu."

    "arabic": "مَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُوا۟ عَن رَّسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَرْغَبُوا۟ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌۭ وَلَا نَصَبٌۭ وَلَا مَخْمَصَةٌۭ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَطَـُٔونَ مَوْطِئًۭا يَغِيظُ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّۢ نَّيْلًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عَمَلٌۭ صَـٰلِحٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ",
    "english": "It is not fitting for the people of Medina and those around them, the Bedouins, to remain behind from following the Messenger of Allah, nor to prefer their own selves over him. That is because no thirst, fatigue, hunger in the way of Allah, no step they take to anger the disbelievers, nor any strike against the enemy goes except that it is recorded for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not waste the reward of the doers of good.",
    "kiswahili": "Haikuwa inafaa kwa watu wa Madina na wale waliowazunguka, Wabedui, kubaki nyuma kumfuata Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, wala kuipendelea nafsi zao juu yake. Kwa sababu hakika kero yoyote, uchovu, njaa katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, au hatua wanazochukua kumkasirisha makafiri, wala mashambulizi wanayoyafanyia adui hayapotei bali yameandikwa kwao kama tendo la wema. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hatoziisha thawabu ya wema."

    "arabic": "وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةًۭ صَغِيرَةًۭ وَلَا كَبِيرَةًۭ وَلَا يَقْطَعُونَ وَادِيًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "And they spend not anything, small or large, nor do they cross a valley but that it is written for them, so that Allah may recompense them the best of what they used to do.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala hawatozi mali yoyote, ndogo au kubwa, wala kuvuka bonde isipokuwa imeandikwa kwao, ili Mwenyezi Mungu awape malipo bora zaidi ya walichokuwa wakifanya."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كَانَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنفِرُوا۟ كَآفَّةًۭ ۚ فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ طَآئِفَةٌۭ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا۟ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُوا۟ قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ",

    "english": "O you who believe! Fight those near you among the disbelievers and let them find harshness in you. And know that Allah is with the righteous.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mnaoamini! Piganeni na wale waliokaribu miongoni mwa wakafiri, na wapelekeghu ugumu miongoni mwa nyinyi. Na jua kuwa Mwenyezi Mungu yupo pamoja na wanyofu."

    "english": "And when a surah is revealed, some of them say, 'Which of you has been increased in faith by this?' As for those who believe, it increases their faith and they rejoice.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati sura inapochukuliwa, baadhi yao husema, 'Ni yupi kati yenu amezidishwa imani na hili?' Wale waliokuwa waumini, imani yao inaongezeka na wanashangilia."

    "english": "But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it adds impurity to their impurity, and they die in disbelief.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale walio na ugonjwa mioyoni mwao, inawazidishia uchafu wao, na wanakufa wakiwa wakafiri."

    "english": "Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice, yet they do not repent nor remember?",
    "kiswahili": "Je, hawaona kuwa wanajaribiwa kila mwaka mara moja au mbili, lakini hawatoboe wala hawakumbuki?"

    "english": "And when a surah is revealed, some of them look at each other, asking, 'Do you see anyone among you?' Then they turn away. Allah has turned their hearts because they are a people who do not understand.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati sura inachukuliwa, baadhi yao huangalia kila mmoja, wakijiuliza, 'Unaona yeyote kati yenu?' Kisha wanageuka. Mwenyezi Mungu amewageuza mioyo yao kwa kuwa wao ni watu wasioelewa."

    "arabic": "لَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. It grieves him that you should suffer; he is concerned over you and to the believers is compassionate, merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika amekuja kwenu Mtume miongoni mwenu. Anasikitika kuona mnasumbuliwa; anamjali na kwa waumini ni mpole, Mwenye huruma."

    "arabic": "فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ",
    "english": "But if they turn away, say, 'Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him. In Him I place my trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.'",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini iwapo watageuka, sema, 'Mwenyezi Mungu anatosha kwangu; hakuna mungu isipokuwa Yeye. Naye ndiye nimemwamini, naye ndiye Mola wa Kiti cha Enzi Kikuu.'"
