    "english": "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu."

    "arabic": "إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ قَالُوا۟ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ",
    "english": "When the hypocrites come to you, they say, 'We testify that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah.' And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.",
    "kiswahili": "Wakati munafiki wanapokuja kwako, wanasema: ‘Tunashuhudia kuwa wewe ni Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu.’ Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua kuwa wewe ni Mtume wake, na Mwenyezi Mungu anashuhudia kuwa munafiki ni waongo."

    "arabic": "ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةًۭ فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "They have taken their oaths as a cover and thus hinder [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, they have done evil deeds.",
    "kiswahili": "Wamechukua ahadi zao kama kinga, na hivyo kuzuia [watu] kutoka kwenye njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika wamefanya matendo mabaya."

    "arabic": "ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ",
    "english": "That is because they believed then disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed, and they do not understand.",
    "kiswahili": "Hayo ni kwa sababu waliamini kisha wakakufuru; hivyo mioyo yao imefungwa, na hawaelewi."

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ ۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌۭ مُّسَنَّدَةٌۭ ۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ ۚ قَـٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ",
    "english": "When you see them, their forms please you; and if they speak, you listen to their words. They are like pieces of wood propped up. They think every shout is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how deluded they are!",
    "kiswahili": "Unapowaona, sura zao inakufurahisha; na wakiongea, unasikiliza maneno yao. Wamefananishwa na vipande vya mbao vilivyoegeshwa. Wanaona kila kelele ni dhidi yao. Wao ni adui, basi jihadharini nao. Mwenyezi Mungu awauwe; ni wapotevu sana!"

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْا۟ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ",
    "english": "And when it is said to them, 'Come, the Messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you,' they twist their heads in pride, and you would see them turning away arrogantly.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati wakiambiwa: ‘Njoo, Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu atawasamehe,’ wanageuza vichwa vyao kwa kiburi, na utaona wanageuka kwa kibria."

    "arabic": "سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ",
    "english": "It is the same to them whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness; Allah will not forgive them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.",
    "kiswahili": "Ni sawa kwao kama unawasamehe au usiwawasamehe; Mwenyezi Mungu hawawezi kuwasamehe. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hajaongoza watu wanaokufuru kwa uasi."

    "arabic": "هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا۟ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ",
    "english": "They are the ones who say, 'Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disperse.' And to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.",
    "kiswahili": "Wao ndio wanasema: ‘Msitengenezee wale walioko na Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu hadi wapeleke.’ Na Hazina zote za mbingu na ardhi ni za Mwenyezi Mungu, lakini munafiki hawaelewi."

    "arabic": "يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "They say, 'If we return to al-Madinah, the mightiest will surely drive out the lowliest.' But to Allah belongs all honor, to His Messenger, and to the believers; yet the hypocrites do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Wanasema: ‘Tukirudi Madinah, aliye juu ataondoa aliye chini.’ Lakini heshima yote ni ya Mwenyezi Mungu, kwa Mtume wake, na kwa waumini; lakini munafiki hawaelewi."

    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ",
    "english": "O you who believe! Let not your wealth or your children distract you from the remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that — they are the losers.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mlioamini! Msiruhusu mali zenu au watoto wenu kuwapoteza katika kumbukumbu ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na yeyote anayeifanya hivyo — hao ndio wapotevu."

    "arabic": "وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَـٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ",
    "english": "And spend from what We have provided you before death comes to any of you; then he says, 'My Lord, if only You would delay me until a near term so I could give charity and be among the righteous.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na tumieni kutoka kwa tulivyo wapa kabla ya kifo kuwasili kwa yeyote kati yenu; kisha aasema: ‘Rabbangu, kama ungenirahisisha hadi muda mfupi ili niweze kutoa sadaka na kuwa miongoni mwa wema.’"

    "arabic": "وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَا ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "And Allah will not delay a soul when its appointed time comes. And Allah is aware of what you do.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Mwenyezi Mungu hatachelewesha nafsi yoyote wakati wa kuwasili kwake. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anajua yale mnayofanya."
