[ { "surah": 6, "ayah": 0, "arabic": "بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ", "english": "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.", "kiswahili": "Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 1, "arabic": "ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ", "english": "All praise is for Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.", "kiswahili": "Sifa zote ni za Allah, aliyeumba mbingu na ardhi, na akatengeneza giza na nuru; na bado walio kutoimani wanamlinganisha Mola wao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 2, "arabic": "هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍۢ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًۭا ۖ وَأَجَلٌۭ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ", "english": "It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term [of life]; and a term is fixed with Him, yet you doubt.", "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye aliye kuumba kutoka mchanga kisha akaweka muda wa maisha; na muda huo umedhamiriwa kwake, lakini ninyi mna shaka." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 3, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ", "english": "And He is Allah in the heavens and on the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows what you earn.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye Allah mbinguni na duniani. Anajua siri zako na kile unachokionyesha, na anajua mliyo patikana." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 4, "arabic": "وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ", "english": "And no sign from the signs of their Lord comes to them but they turn away from it.", "kiswahili": "Na hakuna ishara kutoka ishara za Mola wao inayowafikia ila wanakwepa kutoka kwake." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 5, "arabic": "فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ", "english": "Indeed, they have denied the truth when it came to them; soon will come to them the news of what they used to ridicule.", "kiswahili": "Hakika walikanusha ukweli ulipowafikia; hivi karibuni watapokea habari ya yale waliyo cheka kwao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 6, "arabic": "أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ مَّكَّنَّـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ", "english": "Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them whom We had established on the earth more firmly than you? We sent rain upon them in abundance and made rivers flow beneath them, yet We destroyed them for their sins and caused other generations to succeed them.", "kiswahili": "Je, hawataoni ni vizazi vingapi tuliwaharibu kabla yao, tulio wajaweka kwenye ardhi kwa imara kuliko ninyi? Tuliwatolea mvua kwa wingi na kuwaruhusu mito kuyeruka chini yao, lakini tuka waharibu kwa dhambi zao, na tukawaanzisha vizazi vingine baada yao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 7, "arabic": "وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ كِتَـٰبًۭا فِى قِرْطَاسٍۢ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ لَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ", "english": "And even if We had sent down to you a written scripture which they could touch with their hands, the disbelievers would say, 'This is nothing but obvious magic.'", "kiswahili": "Na hata kama tunge downia wewe kitabu kilichoandikwa wangeweza kukikumbatia kwa mikono yao, wakikafiri wange sema, 'Hiki si ila uchawi wazi.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 8, "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌۭ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًۭا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ", "english": "They also said, 'Why was no angel sent down to him?' Had We sent an angel, the matter would have been settled, then they would not have been given respite.", "kiswahili": "Walisema pia, 'Kwa nini malaika hakupelekwa kwake?' Kama tunge tuma malaika, jambo lingekuwa limekwisha, kisha hawangepewa muda wa kuahirisha." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 9, "arabic": "وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَـٰهُ مَلَكًۭا لَّجَعَلْنَـٰهُ رَجُلًۭا وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ", "english": "And had We made him an angel, We would have made him a man, and We would have confused them in their misunderstanding.", "kiswahili": "Na kama tunge fanya malaika, tunge fanya kuwa mwanadamu, na tunge wacha wakose kuelewa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 10, "arabic": "وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ", "english": "Indeed, messengers before you were ridiculed, and the mockers were overtaken by that at which they used to ridicule.", "kiswahili": "Hakika, mitume kabla yako walitukanwa, na wakatukanwa walioshikilia kicheko walishikilia wangefungwa na kile walicho cheka." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 11, "arabic": "قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those who denied the truth.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Safiisha katika nchi kisha uone hali ya mwisho ya wakikanaji.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 12, "arabic": "قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ قُل لِّلَّهِ ۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۚ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ", "english": "Say, 'To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth?' Say, 'To Allah.' He has prescribed mercy for Himself. He will surely gather you to the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who lose themselves, they will not believe.", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Ni nani anayemiliki yote yaliyomo mbinguni na duniani?' Sema, 'Ni Allah.' Ameweka rehema kwa nafsi yake. Hakika atawa kusanya siku ya Kiyama, hakika hakuna shaka. Wale waliopoteza nafsi zao hawataamini." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 13, "arabic": "وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ", "english": "And to Him belongs whatever rests by night and day. And He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye mwenye mali ya kila kitu kilicho lala usiku na mchana. Na Yeye ni Mwenye kusikia yote na kujua yote." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 14, "arabic": "قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّۭا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ ۗ قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ ۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Shall I take as a protector anyone other than Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who feeds but is not fed?' Say, 'I have been commanded to be the first to submit [to Allah], and you must not be among the polytheists.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Je, nitachukua mtu mwingine isipokuwa Allah, Muumba wa mbingu na ardhi, ambaye hula lakini hula siyo? Sema, 'Nimeamriwa kuwa wa kwanza kumtii [Allah], na msikubali kuwa miongoni mwa washirikina.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 15, "arabic": "قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ", "english": "Say, 'Indeed I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Hakika ninaogopa, ikiwa nitakataa amri ya Rabi yangu, adhabu ya Siku kubwa.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 16, "arabic": "مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ", "english": "Whomever is spared on that Day will have received mercy; and that is the manifest success.", "kiswahili": "Yeye ambaye atasamehewa siku hiyo amepokea rehema; na huo ni ushindi wazi." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 17, "arabic": "وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّۢ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍۢ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ", "english": "And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it except Him; and if He touches you with good, He is over all things competent.", "kiswahili": "Na kama Allah akugusa kwa madhara, hakuna anayemwondoa isipokuwa Yeye; na kama akugusa kwa wema, Yeye ni Mwenye uwezo juu ya kila kitu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 18, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ", "english": "And He is the Subduer over His servants, and He is the Wise, the Acquainted [with all things].", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye Mwenye nguvu juu ya wateule wake, na Yeye ndiye Mjuzi, Mjuzi wa yote." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 19, "arabic": "قُلْ أَىُّ شَىْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَـٰدَةًۭ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ شَهِيدٌۢ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ وَأُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِۦ وَمَنۢ بَلَغَ ۚ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً أُخْرَىٰ ۚ قُل لَّآ أَشْهَدُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ وَإِنَّنِى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ", "english": "Say, 'What thing is greatest in testimony?' Say, 'Allah is witness between me and you; and this Qur’an has been revealed to me that I may warn you and whomever it reaches.' Do you indeed testify that with Allah there are other gods? Say, 'I do not testify.' Say, 'He is but one God, and indeed I am free of what you associate [with Him].'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Nini kinachoshuhudia zaidi?' Sema, 'Allah ndiye shahidi kati yangu na ninyi; na Qur’ani hii imenyeshwa kwangu ili niwaonye ninyi na yeyote anayefikiwa nayo.' Je, kweli mnasema kuwa pamoja na Allah kuna miungu mingine? Sema, 'Sishuhudii.' Sema, 'Yeye ndiye Mungu mmoja, na hakika mimi ni mgeni wa kile mnachomshirikisha.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 20, "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمُ ۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ", "english": "Those to whom We gave the Scripture know it as they know their own sons; but those who have lost themselves do not believe.", "kiswahili": "Wale waliotolewa Kitabu wanakijua kama wanavyojua watoto wao; lakini wale waliopoteza nafsi zao hawataamini." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 21, "arabic": "وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ", "english": "And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or denies His signs? Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.", "kiswahili": "Na nani aliye dhulumu zaidi kuliko yule anayemfanya Allah uwongo au kukanusha ishara Zake? Hakika, wapendao dhuluma hawatafanikiwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 22, "arabic": "وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ", "english": "And on the Day We will gather them all together, then We will say to those who associated others with Allah, 'Where are your partners whom you used to claim?'", "kiswahili": "Na siku tutawakusanya wote pamoja, kisha tutauliza wale waliomshirikisha Allah, 'Wapi washirika wenu mlioadai?'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 23, "arabic": "ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ", "english": "Then their claim will not benefit them; they will say, 'By Allah, our Lord, we were not polytheists.'", "kiswahili": "Halafu dai lao haliwatumii chochote; watasema, 'Kwa Allah, Mola wetu, hatukuwa washirikina.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 24, "arabic": "ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ", "english": "See how they lied against themselves, and what they used to invent has gone from them.", "kiswahili": "Tazama jinsi walivyojidanganya wenyewe, na walichokuwa wanachikiri kimepotea." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 25, "arabic": "وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ أَذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا ۚ وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهَا ۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَاءُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَاطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ", "english": "Among them are some who listen to you, but We have set veils upon their hearts so that they do not understand, and deafness in their ears; if they see every sign, they will not believe in it. When they come to you arguing, the disbelievers say, 'This is nothing but the tales of the former people.'", "kiswahili": "Miongoni mwao kuna baadhi wanaokusikiliza, lakini tumewafunika mioyo yao ili wasielewe, na kupatwa na kiziwi masikioni mwao; wakiona kila ishara, hawataamini. Wakiwa wanakupinga, wakosefu wa imani wanasema, 'Hii ni hadithi za watu wa zamani tu.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 26, "arabic": "وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْءَوْنَ عَنْهُ ۖ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ", "english": "And they prevent [others] from it and keep away from it; but they only destroy themselves, though they perceive it not.", "kiswahili": "Wanaizuia wengine na kujitenga nayo; lakini wanajiharibu wenyewe, ingawa hawatambui." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 27, "arabic": "وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ وُقِفُوا۟ عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰلَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ", "english": "If you could see when they are set before the Fire, they will say, 'Oh, would that we could be sent back, and not deny the signs of our Lord, and be among the believers!'", "kiswahili": "Ukiona wakisimama mbele ya Moto, wanasema, 'La! tungeweza kurudishwa, na tusidharau ishara za Mola wetu, na tuwe miongoni mwa waumini!'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 28, "arabic": "بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَلَوْ رُدُّوا۟ لَعَادُوا۟ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ", "english": "Rather, what they had been hiding has appeared to them. If they were returned, they would revert to that from which they were forbidden; indeed, they are liars.", "kiswahili": "Bali, walichokuwa wanakificha kimefichuliwa kwao. Wangeirudishwa wangejirudia yale waliyopewa marufuku; hakika wao ni wakosefu wa kweli." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 29, "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ", "english": "And they say, 'There is nothing but our worldly life; we shall not be resurrected.'", "kiswahili": "Wanasema, 'Hakuna ila maisha yetu ya dunia; hatutaamuliwa.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 30, "arabic": "وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ وُقِفُوا۟ عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ ۚ قَالَ أَلَيْسَ هَـٰذَا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَا ۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُوا۟ الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ", "english": "If you could see when they are set before their Lord, He will say, 'Is this not the truth?' They will say, 'Yes, by our Lord.' [He will say], 'Then taste the punishment for what you used to deny.'", "kiswahili": "Ukiona wanapo simamishwa mbele ya Mola wao, Atasema, 'Hii si kweli?' Watasema, 'Ndio, kwa Mola wetu.' Atasema, 'Basi shughulika na adhabu kwa yale mliyokataa.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 31, "arabic": "قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ اللَّهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةًۭ قَالُوا۟ يَـٰحَسْرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمْ ۚ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ", "english": "Indeed, those who deny the meeting with Allah have lost, until when the Hour comes upon them suddenly, they say, 'Oh, woe to us for what we neglected!' while they bear their burdens on their backs. How evil is that which they bear!", "kiswahili": "Hakika, wale wanakanusha kukutana na Allah wamepoteza, mpaka Siku ikawaje ghafla, wanasema, 'La! dhahabu yetu kwa yale tuliyoyaacha!' huku wakibeba mizigo yao mgongoni. Hakika mabaya ni yale wanayobeba!" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 32, "arabic": "وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَعِبٌۭ وَلَهْوٌۭ ۖ وَلَلْدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ", "english": "And the worldly life is nothing but play and amusement. Indeed, the home of the Hereafter is better for those who fear Allah. Will you not then reason?", "kiswahili": "Na maisha ya dunia ni mchezo na burudani tu. Hakika, makazi ya Akhera ni bora kwa wale wanaoogopa Allah. Je, hamtafikiri?" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 33, "arabic": "قَدْ نَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَحْزُنُكَ الَّذِى يَقُولُونَ ۖ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يُكَذِّبُونَكَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ", "english": "We know indeed that what they say grieves you; but it is not you they deny, but the wrongdoers deny the signs of Allah.", "kiswahili": "Tunajua kwamba yaliyo semwa na wao yanakukera; lakini si wewe wanayekana, bali walidhulumu wanakanusha ishara za Allah." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 34, "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌۭ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُوا۟ وَأُوذُوا۟ حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰهُمْ نَصْرُنَا ۚ وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكَ مِن نَّبَإِى۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ", "english": "And certainly messengers before you were denied, but they were patient over what they were denied and were harmed until Our help came to them. There is no changing the words of Allah. And there has already come to you some information of the messengers.", "kiswahili": "Hakika Mitume kabla yako walikanushwa, lakini walivumilia kinachowakanusha na wakadhuriwa hadi Kusaidizi wetu likawafikia. Hakuna anayeweza kubadilisha maneno ya Allah. Na tayari umepewa taarifa fulani za Mitume." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 35, "arabic": "وَإِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكَ إِعْرَاضُهُمْ فَإِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتَ أَن تَبْتَغِىَ نَفَقًۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَوْ سُلَّمًۭا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَأْتِيَهُم بِـَٔايَةٍۢ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۚ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ", "english": "And if their turning away grieves you, then if you could seek a tunnel in the earth or a ladder in the sky to bring them a sign, [it would not help]. And if Allah willed, He would have gathered them upon guidance. So do not be of the ignorant.", "kiswahili": "Na kama kugeuka kwao kunakukera, basi kama ungeweza kutafuta shimo ardhini au ngazi angani kuwaletea ishara, haitasaidia. Na kama Allah angependa, angewaleta wote kwenye hidaya. Hivyo usiwe miongoni mwa wajinga." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 36, "arabic": "إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْمَعُونَ ۘ وَٱلْمَوْتَىٰ يَبْعَثُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ", "english": "Indeed, only those who listen will respond. And Allah will resurrect the dead; then to Him they will be returned.", "kiswahili": "Hakika, ni wale wanaosikia tu watakayeitikia. Na Allah atazilia wafu; kisha kwa Yeye watarudishwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 37, "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُنَزِّلَ ءَايَةًۭ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ", "english": "And they say, 'Why was no sign sent down to him from his Lord?' Say, 'Indeed, Allah is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know.'", "kiswahili": "Wanasema, 'Mbona hakupokei ishara kutoka kwa Mola wake?' Sema, 'Hakika Allah anaweza kutuma ishara, lakini wengi hawajui.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 38, "arabic": "وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَـٰٓئِرٍۢ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم ۚ مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ", "english": "And there is no creature on earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Book a thing. Then to their Lord they will be gathered.", "kiswahili": "Hakuna kiumbe chochote ardhini wala ndege anayeruka kwa mabawa yake ila ni jamii kama nyinyi. Hatukikosea kitu katika Kitabu. Kisha watakusanywa kwa Mola wao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 39, "arabic": "وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَاتِنَا صُمٌّۭ وَبُكْمٌۭ فِى الظُّلُمَـٰتِ ۗ مَن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ", "english": "And those who deny Our signs are deaf and dumb in the darkness. Whomever Allah wills, He leaves astray; and whomever He wills, He puts on a straight path.", "kiswahili": "Wale wanakanusha ishara zetu wakiwa wamenyenza kiziwi na kiziwi gizani. Yeye anayemtaka Allah, humdanganya; na anayemtaka humuweka katika njia nyembamba." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 40, "arabic": "قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Have you considered: if the punishment of Allah comes to you, or the Hour comes, will you call upon besides Allah, if you should be truthful?'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Je, mmefikiri: ikiwa adhabu ya Allah itawafikia, au Siku itakuja, mtamwomba mwingine isipokuwa Allah, ikiwa kweli mnasema kweli?'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 41, "arabic": "بَلْ إِيَّاهُ تَدْعُونَ فَيَكْشِفُ مَا تَدْعُونَ إِلَيْهِ إِن شَآءَ وَتَنسَوْنَ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ", "english": "But it is Him you call upon, and He removes what you call for, if He wills, and you forget what you associate with Him.", "kiswahili": "Lakini Yeye ndiye mnayemwomba, na Huondoa mnachomwomba ikiwa atakavyo, na mnayasahau yale mliyoyashirikisha." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 42, "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ", "english": "And We certainly sent to nations before you, and We seized them with adversity and hardship so that they might humble themselves.", "kiswahili": "Na hakika tumetuma kwa mataifa kabla yako, tukawakuta kwa misukosuko na taabu ili wapunguzwe unafsi." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 43, "arabic": "فَلَوْلَآ إِذْ جَآءَهُم بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوا۟ وَلَـٰكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "Why, when Our punishment came to them, did they not humble themselves? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made what they were doing pleasing to them.", "kiswahili": "Kwa nini, walipofika adhabu yetu, hawakuinua unafsi wao? Lakini mioyo yao iliganda, na Shetani akawapendeza yale waliyokuwa wakiyafanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 44, "arabic": "فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓا۟ أَخَذْنَـٰهُم بَغْتَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ", "english": "But when they forgot what they were reminded of, We opened for them the gates of everything. Then, when they rejoiced in what they were given, We seized them suddenly, and behold, they were defeated.", "kiswahili": "Lakini waliposahau yale waliyokumbushwa, tukawa wazi milango ya kila kitu. Kisha, walipofurahia waliyopewa, tukawakamata ghafla, na tazama, walishindwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 45, "arabic": "فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ۚ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ", "english": "Thus the end of the wrongdoers was cut off. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.", "kiswahili": "Hivyo mwisho wa wenye dhulma ulikatwa. Na sifa zote ni za Allah, Mola wa walimwengu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 46, "arabic": "قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُم مَّنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ ۗ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ", "english": "Say, 'Have you considered: if Allah were to take away your hearing and your sight and seal over your hearts, who is a god other than Allah that could bring them back to you? See how We diversify the signs; then they turn away.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Je, mmefikiri: ikiwa Allah atachukua sikio zenu na macho yenu na kufunga mioyo yenu, ni nani mungu isipokuwa Allah atakayewawezesha kurudisha? Angalia jinsi tunavyobadilisha ishara; kisha wanageuka.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 47, "arabic": "قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ", "english": "Say, 'Have you considered: if the punishment of Allah comes to you suddenly or openly, will anyone be destroyed except the wrongdoers?'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Je, mmefikiri: ikiwa adhabu ya Allah itawafikia ghafla au kwa uwazi, je, yeyote ataharibiwa isipokuwa wenye dhulma?'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 48, "arabic": "وَمَا نُرْسِلُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ ۖ فَمَنْ ءَامَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ", "english": "And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and reforms – there will be no fear upon them, nor will they grieve.", "kiswahili": "Na hatutumii Mitume isipokuwa kuwaletea habari njema na kuwaonya. Hivyo, yeyote anayeamini na kubadilika – hakutakuwa na hofu juu yao, wala hawatateseka." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 49, "arabic": "وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ", "english": "But those who deny Our signs – the punishment will touch them for their wrongdoing.", "kiswahili": "Lakini wale wanakanusha ishara zetu – adhabu itawagusa kwa uasi wao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 50, "arabic": "قُل لَّآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِندِى خَزَآئِنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّى مَلَكٌ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ", "english": "Say, 'I do not say to you that I have the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I follow only what is revealed to me. Say, 'Is the blind equal to the seeing? Will you not then reflect?''", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Sikweli nakuambia kuwa nina hazina za Allah, wala sijui ghaibu, wala sikweli nakuambia kuwa mimi malaika. Nafuata tu kile kilicho funuliwa kwangu. Sema, 'Je, kipofu ni sawa na miono? Hivyo hamtafikirii?'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 51, "arabic": "وَأَنذِرْ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَن يُحْشَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ ۙ لَيْسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ وَلِىٌّۭ وَلَا شَفِيعٌۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ", "english": "And warn with it those who fear that they will be gathered to their Lord; for them there is no protector or intercessor besides Him, that they may be mindful.", "kiswahili": "Na wape hoi wale wanaoogopa kuwa watakusanywa kwa Mola wao; kwao hakuna mlezi au mdhamini isipokuwa Yeye, ili wawe na tahadhari." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 52, "arabic": "وَلَا تَطْرُدِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَدَوٰةِ وَٱلْعَشِىِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُۥ ۖ مَا عَلَيْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ", "english": "And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His countenance. You have no blame for their account, nor do they have blame for yours. If you were to drive them away, you would be of the wrongdoers.", "kiswahili": "Na usawaingie wale wanaomwomba Mola wao asubuhi na jioni, wakitamani uso wake. Huna kosa kwa hesabu yao, wala hawana kosa kwa yako. Ukawayatoa, utakuwa miongoni mwa wenye dhulma." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 53, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍۢ لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنۢ بَيْنِنَآ ۗ أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ", "english": "Thus We have tested some of them by others so that they may say, 'Is this [the one] whom Allah has favored from among us?' Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?", "kiswahili": "Hivyo tumewa jaribu baadhi yao kwa wengine ili wawaambie, 'Je, huyu ndiye aliyemubariki Allah miongoni mwa sisi?' Je, Allah si Mjuzi zaidi wa walio shukuru?" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 54, "arabic": "وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُۥ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوءَا۟ بِجَهَـٰلَةٍۢ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ", "english": "And when those who believe in Our signs come to you, say, 'Peace be upon you.' Your Lord has decreed mercy upon Himself: that whoever of you does evil in ignorance and then repents and reforms – indeed, He is Forgiving, Merciful.", "kiswahili": "Na wakati wale wanaoamini ishara zetu wakija kwako, sema, 'Amani iwe juu yenu.' Mola wenu ameamua rehema juu ya nafsi Yake: yeyote kati yenu akifanya mabaya kwa ujinga kisha atubu na kubadilika – hakika Yeye ni Msamehe, Mwema." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 55, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ", "english": "And thus We detail the signs, that the way of the criminals may become evident.", "kiswahili": "Na vivyo hivyo tunafafanua ishara, ili njia ya wakosaji iwe dhahiri." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 56, "arabic": "قُلْ إِنِّى نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُل لَّآ أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَآءَكُمْ ۙ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًۭا وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ", "english": "Say, 'I am forbidden to worship those whom you call upon besides Allah.' Say, 'I will not follow your desires; I would have gone astray and I would not be among the guided.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Nimezuiliwa kuabudu wale mnawaomba badala ya Allah.' Sema, 'Sitafuata tamaa zenu; ningepotea na sitakuwa miongoni mwa walioongozwa.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 57, "arabic": "قُلْ إِنِّى عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّى وَكَذَّبْتُم بِهِۦ ۚ مَا عِندِى مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنِ ٱلْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۖ يَقُصُّ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْفَـٰصِلِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Indeed, I am upon clear evidence from my Lord, yet you deny it. I do not possess what you hasten for. The decision is only Allah’s; He relates the truth, and He is the best of judges.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Hakika mimi nipo kwa ushahidi wazi kutoka kwa Mola wangu, nanyi mnakana. Siyo mimi ninaye jambo mneloliharakisha. Hukumu ni ya Allah peke yake; Yeye huambatanisha ukweli, na Yeye ndiye mbora wa wakatibu.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 58, "arabic": "قُل لَّوْ أَنَّ عِندِى مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِۦ لَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ", "english": "Say, 'If I had that which you urge me to hasten, the matter would have been decided between you and me. And Allah is most knowing of the wrongdoers.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Kama ningekuwa na kile mnachoniomba niharakishe, jambo lingeamuliwa kati yenu na mimi. Na Allah ndiye Mjuzi zaidi wa wenye dhulma.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 59, "arabic": "وَعِندَهُۥ مَفَاتِحُ ٱلْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْلَمُهَآ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۚ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِن وَرَقَةٍ إِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا وَلَا حَبَّةٍۢ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا رَطْبٍۢ وَلَا يَابِسٍ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ", "english": "And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. He knows what is on land and in the sea, and not a leaf falls but He knows it, nor a grain in darkness of the earth, nor anything moist or dry, except that it is in a clear register.", "kiswahili": "Na kwa Yeye kuna funguo za ghaibu; hakuna anayejua isipokuwa Yeye. Anajua kile kilicho kwenye nchi na baharini, na hakuna jani linaloanguka ila Yeye anajua, wala chembe katika giza la ardhi, wala kitu chochote kilichomea au kavu, isipokuwa kiko katika kitabu wazi." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 60, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا جَرَحْتُم بِٱلنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُكُمْ فِيهِ لِيُقْضَىٰٓ أَجَلٌۭ مُّسَمًّۭى ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "And He it is who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He raises you up therein so that a term appointed be fulfilled. Then to Him will be your return, and He will inform you of what you used to do.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye anayekukusanyeni kwa usiku na anajua mnachofanya mchana. Kisha Anakufufua katika hapo ili muda uliopangiwa utimizwe. Kisha kweye Yeye ndiko kurudi kwenu, na Atawaambia mnachokuwa mnafanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 61, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَيُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكُمْ حَفَظَةً حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لَا يُفَرِّطُونَ", "english": "And He is the Subduer over His servants. And He sends over you guardians until, when death comes to one of you, Our messengers take him, and they do not neglect.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye Mwenye Kushinda juu ya watumishi wake. Na Anawatuma walinzi juu yenu hadi pale kifo kitakapo mfikie mmoja wenu, wajumbe Wetu humchukua, na hawapuuzi." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 62, "arabic": "ثُمَّ رُدُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوْلَىٰهُمُ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْحُكْمُ وَهُوَ أَسْرَعُ ٱلْحَـٰسِبِينَ", "english": "Then they are returned to Allah, their true Master; surely, His is the judgment, and He is swift in account.", "kiswahili": "Kisha hurudishwa kwa Allah, Mola wao wa kweli; hakika Yeye ndiye mwenye hukumu, na Yeye ni Mkali katika kuhesabu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 63, "arabic": "قُلْ مَن يُنَجِّيكُم مِّن ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ تَدْعُونَهُۥ تَضَرُّعًۭا وَخُفْيَةًۭ لَّئِنْ أَنجَىٰنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Who saves you from the darkness of land and sea, when you call upon Him humbly and secretly? If He saves us from this, indeed we will be among the grateful.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Nani anaye kuokoa kutoka giza la nchi na bahari, wakati mnampa mwomba kwa unyenyekevu na siri? Ikiwa Atatuokoa kutoka hili, hakika tutakuwa miongoni mwa washukuru.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 64, "arabic": "قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُنَجِّيكُم مِّنْهَا وَمِن كُلِّ كَرْبٍۢ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ", "english": "Say, 'Allah saves you from it and from every distress, yet you associate others with Him.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Allah anakuokoa kutoka kwake na kila dharura, lakini bado mnamshirikisha wengine pamoja na Yeye.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 65, "arabic": "قُلْ هُوَ ٱلْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًۭا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًۭا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ ۗ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ", "english": "Say, 'He is capable of sending upon you a punishment from above you or from beneath your feet, or He may make you fall into factions and let some of you experience the severity of others.' Observe how We detail the signs so that they may understand.", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Yeye anaweza kutuma adhabu juu yenu kutoka juu yenu au chini ya miguu yenu, au Akawagawa kuwa makundi na kuwalazimisha baadhi ya nyinyi kuonja ukali wa wengine.' Angalia jinsi tunavyofafanua ishara ili wawaelewe." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 66, "arabic": "وَكَذَّبَ بِهِۦ قَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ قُل لَّسْتُ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍۢ", "english": "And your people denied it, though it is the truth. Say, 'I am not a manager over you.'", "kiswahili": "Na watu wako walikana hili, ingawa ni kweli. Sema, 'Simi wala si mwenye mamlaka juu yenu.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 67, "arabic": "لِّكُلِّ نَبَإٍۢ مُّسْتَقَرٌّۭ ۚ وَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ", "english": "For every news there is a fixed term, and you will know it in due time.", "kiswahili": "Kila habari ina muda wake wa kudumu, na mtajua kwa wakati wake." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 68, "arabic": "وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا۟ فِى حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِۦ ۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ فَلَا تَقْعُدْ بَعْدَ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ", "english": "And when you see those who engage in Our signs, turn away from them until they engage in another conversation. And if Satan makes you forget, then do not remain sitting with the wrongdoers after the reminder.", "kiswahili": "Na ukiona wale wanaojihusisha na ishara zetu, uzae mbali hadi wanapoanza mazungumzo mengine. Na ikiwa Iblis atakufanya usisahau, basi usiketi pamoja na wenye dhulma baada ya kumbu kumbu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 69, "arabic": "وَمَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ وَلَـٰكِن ذِكْرَىٰ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ", "english": "And those who fear [Allah] will have no bearing on their account, but it is a reminder so that they may guard [against evil].", "kiswahili": "Na wale wanaomcha Allah hawatakuwa na mashiko kwenye hesabu yao, bali ni kumbu kumbu ili wawe makini [kukwepa maovu]." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 70, "arabic": "وَذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًۭا وَلَهْوًۭا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ وَذَكِّرْ بِهِۦٓ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِىٌّۭ وَلَا شَفِيعٌۭ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍۢ لَّا يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَآ ۗ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُوا۟ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ ۖ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌۭ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ", "english": "And leave those who take their religion as amusement and diversion, and are deceived by the worldly life. Remind them so that a soul may not perish for what it earned. It has no protector or intercessor besides Allah, and if you were to offer every kind of justice, it would not be accepted from it. Those are the ones who will be given a drink of boiling water and a painful punishment for their disbelief.", "kiswahili": "Na uwaache wale waliyochukua dini yao kama mchezo na burudisho, na waliodanganywa na maisha ya dunia. Wamkumbushe ili nafsi isipotee kwa kilichopata. Haina mlezi wala mdhihirishi isipokuwa Allah, na kama utatoa kila haki, haitachukuliwa kutoka kwake. Hao ndio watakaopatiwa kinywaji cha maji ya moto na adhabu ya uchungu kwa kukanusha." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 71, "arabic": "قُلْ أَنَدْعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَعْقَابِنَا بَعْدِ إِذْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ كَٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَهْوَتْهُ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ حَيْرَانَ لَهُۥٓ أَصْحَـٰبٌۭ يَدْعُونَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَى ٱئْتِنَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۖ وَأُمِرْنَا لِنُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Shall we call upon others besides Allah, who can neither benefit us nor harm us, and then we would return on our heels after Allah has guided us?' Just as Satan has made his companions lose their way on earth, so do they call them to guidance. Say, 'Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the true guidance, and we are commanded to submit to the Lord of all worlds.'", "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Je tutaita wengine isipokuwa Allah, ambao hawawezi kutufaa wala kutudhuru, kisha turudi nyuma baada ya Allah kutuongoza?' Kama Iblis alivyowafanya wafuasi wake kupotea duniani, vivyo hivyo wawaita kwa mwongozo. Sema, 'Hakika mwongozo wa Allah ndio mwongozo halisi, na tumeamriwa kujisalimisha kwa Mola wa walimwengu wote.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 72, "arabic": "وَأَنْ أَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ", "english": "And establish prayer and fear Him. And it is He to whom you will be gathered.", "kiswahili": "Na eneni sala na mamtie hofu. Na Yeye ndiye mtakayeukusanyika kwake." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 73, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُ ۚ قَوْلُهُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۚ وَلَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ", "english": "And He it is who created the heavens and the earth in truth. On the Day He says, 'Be,' and it is. His word is the truth, and to Him belongs the dominion on the Day the horn is blown. He knows the unseen and the witnessed, and He is the Wise, the Aware.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyeumba mbingu na nchi kwa kweli. Siku atakayo sema, 'Kuwa,' basi itakuwa. Neno lake ni kweli, na Yeye ndiye mwenye utawala siku ya kutuibwa puto. Yeye anajua siri na kile kilicho wazi, na Yeye ni Mwenye Hekima, Mwenye Ufahamu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 74, "arabic": "وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا ءَالِهَةً ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ", "english": "And [mention] when Abraham said to his father Azar, 'Do you take idols as deities? Indeed, I see you and your people in manifest error.'", "kiswahili": "Na kumbuka wakati Ibrahim alivyosema kwa baba yake Azar, 'Je unachukua sanamu kuwa miungu? Hakika mimi naona wewe na watu wako mko katika upotovu ulio wazi.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 75, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِىٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُوقِنِينَ", "english": "And thus We showed Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be among the certain [in faith].", "kiswahili": "Na kwa hivyo tukamuonyesha Ibrahim ufalme wa mbingu na dunia ili awe miongoni mwa wastaafu wa hakika [kwa imani]." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 76, "arabic": "فَلَمَّا جَنَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلَّيْلُ رَءَا كَوْكَبًۭا ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّى ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَآ أُحِبُّ ٱلْـَٔافِلِينَ", "english": "And when the night covered him, he saw a star and said, 'This is my Lord.' But when it set, he said, 'I do not like those that set.'", "kiswahili": "Na wakati usiku ulipomfunika, aliona nyota akasema, 'Huyu ndiye Mola wangu.' Lakini ilipotua alisema, 'Sipendi waliopotua.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 77, "arabic": "فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلْقَمَرَ بَازِغًۭا قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّى ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمْ يَهْدِنِى رَبِّى لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ", "english": "And when he saw the moon rising, he said, 'This is my Lord.' But when it set, he said, 'Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the misguided.'", "kiswahili": "Na alipomuona mwezi akainuka, alisema, 'Huyu ndiye Mola wangu.' Lakini ulipotua alisema, 'Laiti Mola wangu asingeniongoza, nitakuwa hakika miongoni mwa waliopotea.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 78, "arabic": "فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةًۭ قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَبِّى هَـٰذَآ أَكْبَرُ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌۭ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ", "english": "And when he saw the sun rising, he said, 'This is my Lord; this is greater.' But when it set, he said, 'O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate [with Allah].'", "kiswahili": "Na alipomuona jua likiibuka, alisema, 'Huyu ndiye Mola wangu; huyu ni mkuu.' Lakini lilipotua alisema, 'Enyi watu wangu, hakika mimi ni huru kutokana na mnaomshirikisha [Allah].'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 79, "arabic": "إِنِّى وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِىَ لِلَّذِى فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًۭا ۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ", "english": "Indeed, I have turned my face sincerely towards He who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not among the polytheists.", "kiswahili": "Hakika, nimeelekeza uso wangu kwa Yeye aliyeumba mbingu na dunia kwa unyenyekevu, na mimi si miongoni mwa waislamu wa udugu wa miungu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 80, "arabic": "وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ ۚ قَالَ أَتُحَـٰٓجُّوٓنِّى فِى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَىٰنِ ۚ وَلَآ أَخَافُ مَا تُشْرِكُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ رَبِّى شَيْـًۭٔا ۗ وَسِعَ رَبِّى كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًا ۗ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ", "english": "And his people disputed with him. He said, 'Do you dispute with me concerning Allah while He has guided me? I do not fear what you associate [with Him] except that my Lord should will something. My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge. Will you not then take heed?'", "kiswahili": "Na watu wake walimhoji. Alisema, 'Je mnanihoji kuhusu Allah wakati Yeye ameniongoza? Sihofu kile mnaomshirikisha isipokuwa Mola wangu atakapotaka kitu. Mola wangu anajua kila kitu. Je hamtafikirii?'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 81, "arabic": "وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَآ أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلَا تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُم بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَـٰنًۭا ۚ فَأَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِٱلْأَمْنِ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ", "english": "And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that for which He has not sent down any authority? So which of the two parties is more deserving of security, if you should know?", "kiswahili": "Na je, ningeogopa nini mnasherikisha huku nanyi msiogopi kuwa mmeashirikisha kwa Allah kile ambacho Hakimtuma na mamlaka? Kwa hivyo ni kundi gani kati ya hizi mbili linafaa zaidi kwa usalama, kama mtafahamu?" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 82, "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ", "english": "Those who believe and do not mix their faith with injustice—they will have security, and they are rightly guided.", "kiswahili": "Wale wanao amini na hawachanganyi imani yao na dhulma—kwao watakuwa na usalama, na wao wapo katika mwongozo sahihi." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 83, "arabic": "وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ ۚ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَـٰتٍۢ مَّن نَّشَآءُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌۭ", "english": "And that was Our argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise in degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Na hiyo ndiyo hoja yetu tuliyopewa Ibrahim dhidi ya watu wake. Tunaopandisha cheo yeyote tunavyotaka. Hakika Mola wako ni Mwelekeo na Mwenye Hekima." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 84, "arabic": "وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۚ كُلًّا هَدَيْنَا ۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَيْنَا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ", "english": "And We gave him Isaac and Jacob; each [of them] We guided. And Noah We guided before; and among his descendants, David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. Thus We reward the doers of good.", "kiswahili": "Na tukampa Ishaq na Yakobo; kila mmoja tukamuongoza. Na Nuhu tulimuongoza kabla; na miongoni mwa uzao wake, Daudi, Suleiman, Ayubu, Yusufu, Musa, na Haruni. Hivyo tunawalipa watekelezaji wema." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 85, "arabic": "وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلْيَاسَ ۖ كُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ", "english": "And Zechariah, John, Jesus, and Elias; all were among the righteous.", "kiswahili": "Na Zakaria, Yahya, Isa na Iliyas; wote walikuwa miongoni mwa wenye haki." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 86, "arabic": "وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًۭا ۚ وَكُلًّۭا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ", "english": "And Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot; each We preferred over the worlds.", "kiswahili": "Na Ismaili, Alyasa, Yunusi na Loti; kila mmoja tukaipendelea juu ya walimwengu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 87, "arabic": "وَمِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ ۖ وَٱجْتَبَيْنَـٰهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ", "english": "And from their fathers and descendants and brothers; We chose them and guided them to a straight path.", "kiswahili": "Na kutoka kwa wazazi wao, uzao na ndugu zao; tulichagua nao tukawaongoza kwenye njia iliyo nyooka." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 88, "arabic": "ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whomever He wills among His servants. And if they had associated others [with Him], all that they were doing would have been in vain.", "kiswahili": "Huyo ndiyo mwongozo wa Allah ambao huongoza yule anayetaka kati ya watumishi wake. Na kama wange shirikisha wengine, yote waliyokuwa wakiyafanya yangekuwa bure." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 89, "arabic": "أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحُكْمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ ۚ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًۭا لَّيْسُوا۟ بِهَا بِكَـٰفِرِينَ", "english": "Those are the ones We gave the Scripture, the judgment, and prophethood. If they disbelieve in it, We have entrusted it to a people who are not disbelievers in it.", "kiswahili": "Hao ndio tuliowapa Kitabu, hukumu, na unabii. Iwapo wanakana, tumeikuamini kwa watu ambao si wa kutokukubali." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 90, "arabic": "أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقْتَدِهْ ۗ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ", "english": "Those are the ones whom Allah has guided; so follow their guidance. Say, 'I do not ask you for any reward for it; it is only a reminder for the worlds.'", "kiswahili": "Hao ndio waliokuwa wamoongoza na Allah; kwa hivyo fuata mwongozo wao. Sema, 'Sina malipo kwa ajili yake; ni kielelezo tu kwa walimwengu.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 91, "arabic": "وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍۢ مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورًۭا وَهُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًۭا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ", "english": "And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal when they said, 'Allah has not revealed anything to a human.' Say, 'Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as a light and guidance to the people?' You make it into pages, revealing some and concealing much. And you were taught that which you knew not, neither you nor your fathers. Say, 'Allah [revealed it].' Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.", "kiswahili": "Wakosa kutathmini Allah kwa ukamilifu wakati walisema, 'Allah hakumtumia chochote binadamu.' Sema, 'Nani aliyeweka Kitabu ambacho Musa alileta kama mwanga na mwongozo kwa watu?' Mnaifanya iwe karatasi, mnaonyesha baadhi na kuficha mengi. Na mlifundishwa kile ambacho hamjajua, wala ninyi wala wazazi wenu. Sema, 'Allah aliyeweka.' Kisha waacheni katika mazungumzo yao ya bure, wakijiburudisha." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 92, "arabic": "وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكٌۭ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ", "english": "And this is a blessed Book which We have revealed, confirming what was before it, that you may warn the mother of cities and those around it. And those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they maintain their prayers.", "kiswahili": "Na huu ni Kitabu kilicho barikiwa tulicho kipeleka, kinathibitisha kilichotangulia, ili uwatimize wale wa mji mkuu na wale waliomo karibu. Na wale wanao amini Akhera wanaamini humo, na wanatunza sala zao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 93, "arabic": "وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَىْءٌۭ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ فِى غَمَرَٰتِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ بَاسِطُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمُ ۖ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ", "english": "And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or says, 'It has been revealed to me,' while nothing has been revealed to him, or says, 'I will reveal like what Allah has revealed.' But if you could see when the wrongdoers are in the throes of death, and the angels extend their hands, [saying], 'Deliver your souls!' Today you will be recompensed with humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and were arrogant concerning His signs.", "kiswahili": "Na nani asiye na haki kama yule anayezusha uwongo dhidi ya Allah au kusema, 'Imefunuliwa kwangu,' huku hakuna kilichofunuliwa kwake, au kusema, 'Nitafunua kama ambavyo Allah amefunua.' Lakini kama ungeona wanayafanyayo wakiangukia wakati wa kufa, na malaika wakiweka mikono yao, wakisema, 'Toa nafsi zenu!' Leo mtalipwa kwa dhihaka kwa yale mlioyazungumza dhidi ya Allah bila haki na mlijivunia ishara zake." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 94, "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَـٰكُمْ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ", "english": "And you certainly came to Us alone as We created you the first time, and you left behind what We had granted you. And We do not see with you your intercessors whom you claimed to be partners with Allah. Your separation has occurred, and what you used to claim has forsaken you.", "kiswahili": "Na hakika mmekuja kwetu peke yenu kama tulivyowakilisha kwa mara ya kwanza, na mliacha nyuma kile tulichowapa. Na hatuoni pamoja nanyi wafuasi wenu mlioyadai kuwa washirika na Allah. Utofauti wenu umetokea, na mlioyadai yamewasi mwachwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 95, "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلْحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰ ۖ يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتِ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ", "english": "Indeed, Allah is the Splitter of the grain and the date stone. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allah; so how are you deluded?", "kiswahili": "Hakika Allah ndiye Mvunjaji wa punje na mbegu. Huinua hai kutoka kwa wafu na hutoa wafu kutoka kwa hai. Huyo ndiye Allah; basi mmevurugwa vipi?" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 96, "arabic": "فَالِقُ ٱلْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ سَكَنًۭا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ", "english": "He is the Splitter of the dawn and made the night for rest, and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Almighty, the All-Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye Mvunjaji wa alfajiri na amefanya usiku kuwa wa mapumziko, na jua na mwezi kwa ajili ya hesabu. Hayo ni mpangilio wa Mwenye Nguvu, Mwenye Hekima." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 97, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا۟ بِهَا فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ", "english": "And He is the One who made for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darknesses of land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyeweka nyota kwenu ili mpate kuongozwa nazo kupitia giza la ardhi na bahari. Tumefafanua ishara kwa watu wenye ufahamu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 98, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّۭ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌۭ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَفْقَهُونَ", "english": "And He is the One who produced you from a single soul, and [made] its mate for dwelling and deposit. We have detailed the signs for a people who understand.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliye waumba kutoka nafsi moja, na wake wake kwa makazi na amana. Tumefafanua ishara kwa watu wanaoelewa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 99, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًۭا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّۭا مُّتَرَاكِبًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخْلِ مِن طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌۭ دَانِيَةٌۭ وَجَنَّـٰتٍۢ مِّنْ أَعْنَابٍۢ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًۭا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهٍ ۗ ٱنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكُمْ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ", "english": "And He it is who sends down water from the sky; with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds. From it We produce greenery, from which We produce grains piled one upon another; and from the palm tree, of its spadices come clusters hanging low; and gardens of grapes, olives, and pomegranates, alike and unlike. Look at their fruits when they bear fruit and ripen; indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye anaye tushusha maji kutoka mbinguni; kwa hiyo tunatoa mimea ya kila aina. Kutoka kwake tunatoa kijani, kutoka kwake tunatengeneza nafaka zilizowekwa juu ya kila nyingine; na kutoka kwenye mtende, kutoka kwenye mabegu yake zinatokea vikundi vinavyoshuka; na bustani za zabibu, zeituni, na mitunda mingine, sawa na tofauti. Angalia matunda yake wakati yanapokua na kufaulu; hakika humo kuna ishara kwa watu wanao amini." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 100, "arabic": "وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ ۖ وَخَرَقُوا۟ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَـٰتٍۭ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ", "english": "And they have set up rivals to Allah—jinn, while He created them—and fabricated for Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Glory to Him and Exalted is He above what they describe.", "kiswahili": "Na wameweka washirika kwa Allah—majini, wakati Yeye aliwaumba—na kuunda wake na wana kwa Yeye bila maarifa. Subhana Yeye na Mtukufu Yeye juu ya yale wanayoyaeleza." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 101, "arabic": "بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌۭ وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَـٰحِبَةٌۭ ۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۢ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ", "english": "Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could He have a son when He does not have a companion, and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Muumbaji wa mbingu na ardhi! Anawezaje kuwa na mwana wakati hana mwenzi, na Yeye aliumba kila kitu? Na Yeye anajua kila kitu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 102, "arabic": "ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَكِيلٌۭ", "english": "That is Allah, your Lord; there is no deity except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is over all things competent.", "kiswahili": "Huyo ndiye Allah, Mola wenu; hakuna mungu isipokuwa Yeye, Muumba wa kila kitu, basi Mwabuduni. Na Yeye ana mamlaka juu ya kila kitu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 103, "arabic": "لَّا تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ", "english": "Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives all vision; and He is the Subtle, the Acquainted.", "kiswahili": "Macho hayawezi Kumfikia, lakini Yeye hufahamu kila kitu kinachoonekana; naye Yeye ni Mpole, Mjuzi wa kila kitu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 104, "arabic": "قَدْ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِىَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۚ وَمَآ أَنَا عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍۢ", "english": "Clear proofs have come to you from your Lord. So whoever sees, it is for his own good; and whoever is blind, it is against him. And I am not a guardian over you.", "kiswahili": "Ishara wazi zimetufikia kutoka kwa Mola wenu. Basi yeyote anayeona, ni kwa faida yake mwenyewe; na yeyote aliye na upofu, ni dhidi yake. Na mimi si mlinzi wenu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 105, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُوا۟ دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ", "english": "And thus We explain the signs in detail so that they may say, 'You have studied,' and so We make it clear for a people who know.", "kiswahili": "Na hivyo tunafafanua ishara kwa undani ili waweze kusema, 'Umesoma,' na hivyo tunafafanua kwa watu wanaojua." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 106, "arabic": "اتَّبِعْ مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ", "english": "Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. There is no deity except Him, and turn away from the polytheists.", "kiswahili": "Fuata kilicho funuliwa kwako kutoka kwa Mola wako. Hakuna mungu isipokuwa Yeye, na epuka waashirikina." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 107, "arabic": "وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَـٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًۭا ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍۢ", "english": "And if Allah had willed, they would not have associated others with Him. And We have not made you a guardian over them, nor are you a manager over them.", "kiswahili": "Na kama Allah angependa, hawange shirikisha wengine kwa Yeye. Na hatukufanya kuwa mlinzi wao, wala huna mamlaka juu yao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 108, "arabic": "وَلَا تَسُبُّوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَدْوًۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "Do not insult those they invoke besides Allah, lest they insult Allah out of ignorance. Thus We have made for every people their deeds beautiful; then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them of what they used to do.", "kiswahili": "Usalaam wa wale wanaowaomba wengine isipokuwa Allah, ili wasaliti Allah kwa ujinga. Hivyo tumefanya kwa kila taifa kazi zao kuwa nzuri; kisha kwa Mola wao ni marudio yao, naye atawaarifu kuhusu yale walichokuwa wakiyafanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 109, "arabic": "وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ لَئِن جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌۭ لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَآ إِذَا جَآءَتْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ", "english": "And they swore by Allah with their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would believe in it. Say, 'Signs are only with Allah.' And what makes you know that when they come, they will believe?", "kiswahili": "Na waliapa kwa Allah kwa nyakati zao zote kwamba kama ishara itawafikia, wange amini. Sema, 'Ishara ziko kwa Allah pekee.' Na ni vipi unajua kwamba zikifika, wataamini?" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 110, "arabic": "وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ", "english": "And We will turn their hearts and their eyes just as they did not believe in it the first time, and We leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly.", "kiswahili": "Na tutageuza mioyo yao na macho yao kama walivyokosa kuamini kwa mara ya kwanza, na tuwaache katika dhuluma zao, wakitembea kwa upuzi." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 111, "arabic": "وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۢ قُبُلًۭا مَّا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ", "english": "And even if We had sent down to them the angels and the dead spoke to them, and We gathered all things before them, they would not have believed unless Allah willed. But most of them are ignorant.", "kiswahili": "Na kama tungetuma malaika kwawapo na wafu wangesema nao, na tukikusanya kila kitu mbele yao, hawangeamini isipokuwa kama Allah atakayependa. Lakini wengi wao wapo katika ujinga." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 112, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّۭا شَيَـٰطِينَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ يُوحِى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ زُخْرُفَ ٱلْقَوْلِ غُرُورًۭا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ", "english": "And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy—devils from mankind and jinn, who inspire one another with adorned speech in deception. And if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it. So leave them and what they invent.", "kiswahili": "Na hivyo tumefanya kila nabii awe na adui—shetani kutoka kwa wanadamu na majini, ambao hunasa wapo mmoja kwa mwingine maneno yenye kupendeza kwa udanganyifu. Na kama Mola wako angependa, wangeweza kuyafanya. Basi waache na yale wanayounda." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 113, "arabic": "وَلِتَصْغَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ أَفْـِٔدَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَلِيَرْضَوْهُ وَلِيَقْتَرِفُوا۟ مَا هُم مُّقْتَرِفُونَ", "english": "And so that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter may incline to it, and that they may commit what they are committing.", "kiswahili": "Na ili mioyo ya wale wasioamini Akhera ishikilie, na ili wafanye yale wanayoyafanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 114, "arabic": "أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْتَغِى حَكَمًۭا وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مُفَصَّلًۭا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُۥ مُنَزَّلٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ", "english": "Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while He it is Who has revealed to you the Book, explained in detail? Those to whom We gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth. So be not of the doubters.", "kiswahili": "Je, nitatafuta mlamli mwingine isipokuwa Allah, Yeye ndiye aliyekutumia Kitabu kilicho fafanuliwa kwa undani? Wale tulio wapa Kitabu wanajua kwamba kimefunuliwa kwa hakika kutoka kwa Mola wako. Basi usiwe miongoni mwa wenye shaka." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 115, "arabic": "وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًۭا وَعَدْلًۭا ۚ لَّا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ", "english": "And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and justice. None can change His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Na neno la Mola wako limekamilika kwa ukweli na haki. Hakuna anayebadilisha maneno Yake, naye Yeye ni Mwenye Kusikia, Mwenye Kujua." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 116, "arabic": "وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ", "english": "And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture, and they do nothing but lie.", "kiswahili": "Na kama ukitimiza matakwa ya wengi wa dunia, watakuongoza mbali na njia ya Allah. Wanafuata dhana tu, na hawafanyi ila uongo." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 117, "arabic": "إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَن يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ", "english": "Indeed, your Lord knows best who strays from His way, and He knows best those who are guided.", "kiswahili": "Hakika Mola wako anajua zaidi ni nani anayepotea kutoka njia Yake, naye Yeye anajua zaidi waliyo waongozwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 118, "arabic": "فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ", "english": "So eat of that over which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His signs.", "kiswahili": "Basi mli chakula kilicho semewa jina la Allah juu yake, mkiamini ishara Zake." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 119, "arabic": "وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا ٱضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَآئِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ", "english": "And why should you not eat of that over which the name of Allah has been mentioned, while He has explained to you what He has forbidden you—except under compulsion? And indeed many mislead others with their desires, without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord knows the transgressors best.", "kiswahili": "Na kwanini msila chakula kilicho semewa jina la Allah juu yake, wakati Yeye amekuelezea kilichokatazwa—isipokuwa kwa lazima? Na hakika wengi hutoza wengine kwa tamaa zao bila ujuzi. Hakika Mola wako anajua zaidi wale wanaokosea." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 120, "arabic": "وَذَرُوا۟ ظَـٰهِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ ٱلْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَقْتَرِفُونَ", "english": "And abandon open and secret sin. Indeed, those who earn sin will be recompensed for what they used to commit.", "kiswahili": "Na acha dhambi za wazi na za siri. Hakika wale wanaopata dhambi watapokea kisichokuwa cha wema walichokifanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 121, "arabic": "وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِسْقٌۭ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَـٰدِلُوكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ", "english": "And do not eat of that over which Allah’s name has not been mentioned, for it is defiance. Indeed, the devils inspire their allies to dispute with you. And if you obey them, indeed you would be associators.", "kiswahili": "Na msile kile ambacho jina la Allah halijatajwa juu yake, kwani ni uasi. Hakika shetani huwapangia wafuasi wao kuhoji nanyi. Na kama mkiwa wafuasi wao, hakika mta kuwa waashirikina." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 122, "arabic": "أَوَمَن كَانَ مَيْتًۭا فَأَحْيَيْنَـٰهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ نُورًۭا يَمْشِى بِهِۦ فِى ٱلنَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُۥ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍۢ مِّّنْهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "Is he who was dead and We gave him life and made for him a light by which he walks among people like one in darkness, unable to leave it? Thus, We have made pleasing to the disbelievers what they were doing.", "kiswahili": "Je, yule aliyekufa na tumemfufua na kumtumia nuru ya kutembea miongoni mwa watu kama yule aliye gizani, asiye na njia ya kutoka humo? Hivyo tumefanya ya kuvutia kwa wakufuru yale walichokuwa wakiyafanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 123, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَـٰبِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا۟ فِيهَا ۖ وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ", "english": "And thus We have set in every town its great criminals to conspire therein, but they do not conspire except against themselves, and they perceive it not.", "kiswahili": "Na hivyo tumetenga katika kila mji wenye makosa makubwa kupanga njama, lakini hawapangi ila dhidi yao wenyewe, na hawatambui." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 124, "arabic": "وَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌۭ قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤْتَىٰ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِ ۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥ ۗ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَمْكُرُونَ", "english": "And when a sign comes to them, they say: 'We will not believe until we are given the like of what was given to Allah's messengers.' Allah knows best where to place His message. The wrongdoers will have humiliation in this world and a severe punishment in the Hereafter for what they plotted.", "kiswahili": "Na wakija ishara, wanasema: 'Hatuamini mpaka tutapewa kama walivyopatiwa Mitume wa Allah.' Allah anajua zaidi ni wapi pa kuweka ujumbe Wake. Waliyo kuwa wenye dhambi watapata unyonge duniani na adhabu kali Akhera kwa yale waliyopanga." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 125, "arabic": "فَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُۥ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَـٰمِ ۖ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُۥ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُۥ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًۭا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ", "english": "Whomever Allah wills to guide, He opens his heart to Islam; and whomever He wills to misguide, He makes his heart tight and constricted as if he were ascending into the sky. Thus Allah places defilement upon those who do not believe.", "kiswahili": "Yeye ambaye Allah anataka kumwelekeza, Hufungua moyo wake kwa Uislamu; na yeye ambaye Hamtaka kumwelekeza, Hufanya moyo wake kuwa nyembamba na uliofungwa kama akipanda angani. Hivyo Allah huweka uchafu juu ya wasiokuwa wa imani." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 126, "arabic": "وَهَـٰذَا صِرَٰطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيمًۭا ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَذَّكَّرُونَ", "english": "And this is the straight path of your Lord. We have detailed the signs for a people who take heed.", "kiswahili": "Na hii ndiyo njia nyembamba ya Mola wako. Tumefafanua ishara kwa watu wanaojifunza." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 127, "arabic": "لَهُمْ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord, and He will be their guardian because of what they used to do.", "kiswahili": "Kwao itakuwa Nyumba ya Amani pamoja na Mola wao, naye Yeye ndiye mlezi wao kutokana na yale waliyo yafanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 128, "arabic": "وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًۭا يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ قَدِ ٱسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ ۖ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ رَبَّنَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍۢ وَبَلَغْنَآ أَجَلَنَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا ۚ قَالَ ٱلنَّارُ مَثْوَىٰكُمْ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌۭ", "english": "And on the Day He will gather them all together, He will say: 'O assembly of jinn, you overpowered many humans.' And their human allies will say: 'Our Lord, we enjoyed each other and reached our appointed term.' He will say: 'The Fire is your dwelling, abiding therein, except what Allah wills.' Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Na siku atakayowakusanya wote pamoja, Atasema: 'Kikao cha majini, mlidhibiti wanadamu wengi.' Na wafuasi wao wa wanadamu watasema: 'Mola wetu, tulifurahia kila mmoja na kufikia muda wetu uliopangwa.' Atasema: 'Moto ni makazi yenu, mkadumishie humo, isipokuwa pale Allah atakapotaka.' Hakika Mola wako ni Mwenye Hekima, Mwenye Kujua." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 129, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُوَلِّى بَعْضَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ بَعْضًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ", "english": "And thus We make some of the wrongdoers leaders over others for what they used to earn.", "kiswahili": "Na hivyo tunawafanya baadhi ya wenye dhambi viongozi juu ya wengine kwa yale waliyo yapata." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 130, "arabic": "يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌۭ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِى وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـٰذَا ۚ قَالُوا۟ شَهِدْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِنَا ۖ وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ كَـٰفِرِينَ", "english": "O assembly of jinn and humans, did there not come to you messengers from among you, reciting to you My signs and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours? They will say: 'We testify against ourselves,' but the life of this world deceived them, and they will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers.", "kiswahili": "Ee kikao cha majini na wanadamu, je, hakija kwenu Mitume miongoni mwenu, wakikusomea ishara Zangu na kuwaonya kuhusu siku yenu hii? Watasema: 'Tunashuhudia dhidi yetu wenyewe,' lakini maisha ya dunia yalidanganya nao, na watashuhudia dhidi yao wenyewe kwamba walikuwa wakiukana." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 131, "arabic": "ذَٰلِكَ أَن لَّمْ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ بِظُلْمٍۢ وَأَهْلُهَا غَـٰفِلُونَ", "english": "That is because your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were unaware.", "kiswahili": "Hiyo ni kwa sababu Mola wako asingedanganya miji kwa uharibifu ikiwa watu wake wangekuwa bila ufahamu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 132, "arabic": "وَلِكُلٍّۢ دَرَجَـٰتٌۭ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوا۟ ۚ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَـٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ", "english": "And for all there are degrees according to what they did. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do.", "kiswahili": "Na kwa kila mmoja kuna daraja kulingana na matendo yao. Na Mola wako si mzembe wa yale wanayofanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 133, "arabic": "وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ذُو ٱلرَّحْمَةِ ۚ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفْ مِنۢ بَعْدِكُم مَّا يَشَآءُ كَمَآ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن ذُرِّيَّةِ قَوْمٍ ءَاخَرِينَ", "english": "And your Lord is Free of need, full of mercy. If He wills, He can remove you and appoint after you whomever He wills, just as He produced you from the descendants of other peoples.", "kiswahili": "Na Mola wako ni Mjengwa wa Kutokuhitaji, Mwenye Rehema. Ikiwa Atataka, Anaweza kuondoa nyinyi na kuchagua baada yenu yeyote atakayetamani, kama alivyoumba kutoka kwa kizazi cha watu wengine." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 134, "arabic": "إِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَـَٔاتٍۢ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ", "english": "Indeed, what you are promised will come to pass, and you will not escape it.", "kiswahili": "Hakika kile mchaani mwenu kimetolewa kitatimia, na hutaweza kukimbia." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 135, "arabic": "قُلْ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّى عَامِلٌۭ ۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ", "english": "Say, 'O my people, work according to your position; indeed I am working. Soon you will know who will have the outcome of the home. Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Ee watu wangu, fanyeni kazi kulingana na nafasi yenu; hakika mimi nafanya kazi. Hivi karibuni mtajua nani atakayepata matokeo ya nyumba. Hakika wenye dhuluma hawatafanikiwa.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 136, "arabic": "وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ ٱلْحَرْثِ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ نَصِيبًۭا فَقَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَـٰذَا لِشُرَكَآئِنَا ۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَآئِهِمْ ۗ سَآءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ", "english": "And they assigned to Allah portions of what He produced of crops and livestock, claiming: 'This is for Allah,' and 'This is for our partners.' But what was for their partners does not reach Allah, and what was for Allah reaches their partners. Evil is that which they judge.", "kiswahili": "Na waliigawa kwa Allah sehemu ya kilicho kutoka kwa mazao na mifugo, waki sema: 'Hiki ni kwa Allah,' na 'Hiki ni kwa washirika wetu.' Lakini kilicho kwa washirika wao hakifikii Allah, na kile kilicho kwa Allah hufika kwa washirika wao. Ni maamuzi mabaya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 137, "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَـٰدِهِمْ شُرَكَآؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ", "english": "Thus Allah made it seem good to many of the polytheists to kill their children, to mislead them and to fabricate against Him their religion. And if Allah had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and what they invent.", "kiswahili": "Hivyo Allah aliifanya ionekane nzuri kwa wengi wa mushriki kuwaua watoto wao, kuwashawishi na kubuni dini dhidi ya Yeye. Na kama Allah angependa, wangekosa kufanya hivyo, basi waache na yale wanayobuni." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 138, "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِۦٓ أَنْعَـٰمٌۭ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌۭ لَّا يَطْعَمُهَآ إِلَّا مَن نَّشَآءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَـٰمٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌۭ لَّا يَذْكُرُونَ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا ٱفْتِرَآءً عَلَيْهِ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ", "english": "And they say: 'These are livestock and crops forbidden; none shall eat them except whom we will,' and they forbid some, and they attribute to Allah what they do not mention. Allah will reward them for their inventions.", "kiswahili": "Na wanasema: 'Hizi ni mifugo na mazao iliyo haram, hakuna atakayekula isipokuwa ambaye tutamchagua,' na wanakata baadhi, na wanamshughulisha Allah kwa yale wasiyoyataja. Allah atawalipa kwa uvumbuzi wao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 139, "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ مَا فِى بُطُونِ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ خَالِصَةٌۭ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَزْوَٰجِنَا ۖ وَإِن يَكُن مَّيْتَةًۭ فَهُمْ فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌۭ", "english": "And they say: 'What is in the bellies of these animals is only for our males and forbidden for our wives,' and if it dies, they claim partnership in it. Allah will reward them for their description; indeed, He is Wise, All-Knowing.", "kiswahili": "Na wanasema: 'Kilicho tumboni mwa mifugo hii ni kwa wavulana wetu tu na ni haramu kwa wake zetu,' na ikiwa itakufa, wanadai ushirikiano. Allah atawalipa kwa maelezo yao; hakika Yeye ni Mwenye Hekima, Mwenye Kujua." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 140, "arabic": "قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَتَلُوٓا۟ أَوْلَـٰدَهُمْ سَفَهًۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَحَرَّمُوا۟ مَا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱفْتِرَآءً عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ", "english": "Indeed, those who killed their children foolishly without knowledge and forbade what Allah provided them, inventing falsehoods against Allah—they have gone astray and were not guided.", "kiswahili": "Hakika wale walioua watoto wao kwa ujinga bila maarifa na wakakata yale Allah aliwapa, wakibuni uwongo dhidi ya Allah—wamepotea na hawakuongozwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 141, "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَ جَنَّـٰتٍۢ مَّعْرُوشَـٰتٍۢ وَغَيْرَ مَعْرُوشَـٰتٍۢ وَٱلنَّخْلَ وَٱلزَّرْعَ مُخْتَلِفًا أُكُلُهُۥ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُتَشَـٰبِهًۭا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهٍۢ ۚ كُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثْمَرَ وَءَاتُوا۟ حَقَّهُۥ يَوْمَ حَصَادِهِۦ ۖ وَلَا تُسْرِفُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ", "english": "And it is He who produces gardens trellised and untrellised, and date palms, and crops of different shape and taste (its fruits and its seeds) and olives, and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of their fruit when they bear fruit, and give their due on the day of harvest, but do not waste. Indeed, He does not like the wasteful.", "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyeumba bustani zilizopandwa na zisizopandwa, na mitende, na mazao yenye umbo na ladha tofauti, na zeituni, na narangi, zenye fananisho na zisizo fananisho. Kula matunda yake yanapokua, na lipa haki yake siku ya mavuno, lakini msipoteze. Hakika Yeye hapendi wasio na mpangilio." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 142, "arabic": "وَمِنَ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ حَمُولَةًۭ وَفَرْشًۭا ۚ كُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ", "english": "And of the cattle, some are for burden and some for food. Eat of what Allah has provided for you, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.", "kiswahili": "Na kati ya mifugo, baadhi ni kwa kubeba mizigo na baadhi ni kwa chakula. Kula kile Allah alikupeni, na usifuate hatua za Shetani. Hakika yeye ni adui wazi kwenu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 143, "arabic": "ثَمَـٰنِيَةَ أَزْوَٰجٍۢ ۖ مِّنَ ٱلضَّأْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ ٱلْمَعْزِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ ءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا ٱشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ ۖ نَبِّـُٔونِى بِعِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ", "english": "Eight pairs (of livestock): two of sheep and two of goats. Say, 'Is it the two males He forbade, or the two females, or that which the wombs of the two females contained? Inform me with knowledge, if you are truthful.'", "kiswahili": "Pamoja na mifugo minane: wanne wa kondoo na wanne wa mbuzi. Sema: 'Je, ni wawili wa kiume aliowazuia, au wawili wa kike, au kile kilicho tumboni mwa wake wawili? Nijulishe kwa maarifa ikiwa msema kweli.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 144, "arabic": "وَمِنَ ٱلإِبِلِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ ٱلْبَقَرِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ ءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا ٱشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ ۖ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَآءَ إِذْ وَصَّىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَا ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا لِّيُضِلَّ ٱلنَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ", "english": "And of the camels, two, and of the cattle, two. Say, 'Is it the two males He forbade, or the two females, or that which the wombs of the two females contained? Were you witnesses when Allah instructed you in this? Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah to mislead people without knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.'", "kiswahili": "Na kati ya ngamia, wawili, na kati ya ng'ombe, wawili. Sema: 'Je, ni wawili wa kiume aliowazuia, au wawili wa kike, au kile kilicho tumboni mwa wake wawili? Je, mlikuwa mashahidi wakati Allah akawaagiza katika hili? Ni nani mbaya zaidi kuliko anaye bunika uongo dhidi ya Allah ili kuwapotosha watu bila maarifa? Hakika Allah hawapei mwongozo watu wa dhuluma.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 145, "arabic": "قُل لَّآ أَجِدُ فِى مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَىٰ طَاعِمٍۢ يَطْعَمُهُۥٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًۭا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنزِيرٍۢ فَإِنَّهُۥ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ ۚ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍۢ وَلَا عَادٍۢ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ", "english": "Say, 'I do not find in what has been revealed to me any food forbidden to one who wishes to eat it, except that it is dead, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine—for indeed it is impure—or that which is dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is compelled by necessity, neither desiring nor transgressing, then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Sioni miongoni mwa chakula kilichotolewa kwangu chochote kilichoruhusiwa kuwa kikwazo kwa mtu aliye na tamaa ya kula, isipokuwa ni kifo, au damu iliyomwagwa, au nyama ya nguruwe—kwa hakika ni uchafu—au kile kilichotolewa kwa mwingine isipokuwa Allah. Lakini yeyote anayelazimika bila tamaa wala kuvuka mipaka, hakika Mola wako ni Mwenye Msamaha na Mwenye Rehema.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 146, "arabic": "وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِى ظُفُرٍۢ ۖ وَمِنَ ٱلْبَقَرِ وَٱلْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَآ إِلَّا مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَآ أَوِ ٱلْحَوَايَآ أَوْ مَا ٱخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍۢ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَـٰهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ", "english": "And for those who follow the Jewish law, We forbade every animal with cloven hooves, and from cattle and sheep, We forbade them their fat—except that upon their backs or internal organs, or that which is mixed with bone. That was recompense for their rebellion, and indeed We are truthful.", "kiswahili": "Na kwa wale waliokuwa Wayahudi, tuliwazuia kila mnyama mwenye kidole kilichogawanyika, na kati ya ng'ombe na kondoo, tuliwazuia mafuta yao—isipokuwa yale yaliyo kwenye mgongo wao au viungo vya ndani, au yale yaliyokutwa na mfupa. Hivyo tukawalipa kwa dhuluma yao, na hakika Sisi ni Wa kweli." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 147, "arabic": "فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل رَّبُّكُمْ ذُو رَحْمَةٍۢ وَٰسِعَةٍۢ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأْسُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ", "english": "So if they deny you, say, 'Your Lord is the Possessor of vast mercy, but His punishment cannot be averted from the sinful people.'", "kiswahili": "Kwa hivyo ikiwa wanakukana, sema: 'Mola wenu ndiye Mwenye Rehema Kuu, lakini adhabu Yake haiwezi kuondolewa kwa watu wa dhambi.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 148, "arabic": "سَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشْرَكْنَا وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ ذَاقُوا۟ بَأْسَنَا ۗ قُلْ هَلْ عِندَكُم مِّنْ عِلْمٍۢ فَتُخْرِجُوهُ لَنَآ ۖ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَخْرُصُونَ", "english": "Those who associate others with Allah will say, 'Had Allah willed, we would not have associated nor would our forefathers, and we would not have forbidden anything.' Likewise, those before them denied until they tasted Our punishment. Say, 'Do you have any knowledge to produce for us? You follow nothing but conjecture, and you only lie.'", "kiswahili": "Wale wanao shiriki wengine na Allah wanasema: 'Kama Allah angependa, hatungeushiriki wala mababu zetu, wala hatungezizuia chochote.' Vivyo hivyo, wale kabla yao walikana hadi wakashuhudia adhabu Yetu. Sema: 'Je, mna maarifa ya kututoa kwetu? Mfuate dhana tu, na mnaongoa.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 149, "arabic": "قُل فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْحُجَّةُ ٱلْبَـٰلِغَةُ ۖ فَلَوْ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ", "english": "Say, 'For Allah is the decisive argument; if He willed, He would guide you all.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Kwa Allah kuna hoja kamili; kama Yeye angependa, angeniongoza nyote.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 150, "arabic": "قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَ هَـٰذَا ۖ فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَلَا تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ", "english": "Say, 'Bring forward your witnesses who testify that Allah has forbidden this.' And if they testify, do not testify with them. Do not follow the desires of those who deny Our signs and do not believe in the Hereafter, while they equate others with their Lord.", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Lete mashahidi wenu wanaoshuhudia kwamba Allah amekataza hili.' Na ikiwa washuhudia, msishuhudie pamoja nao. Msifuatilie tamaa za wale wanaokana Ishara Zetu na hawana Imani na Akhera, huku wakilinganisha wengine na Mola wao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 151, "arabic": "قُلْ تَعَالَوْا۟ أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا۟ بِهِۦ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَـٰنًۭا ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَوْلَـٰدَكُم مِّنْ إِمْلَـٰقٍۢ ۖ نَّحْنُ نَرزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ", "english": "Say, 'Come, I will recite what your Lord has forbidden you: Do not associate anything with Him, be good to parents, do not kill your children out of poverty—we will provide for you and them—do not approach indecencies, whether apparent or hidden, and do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right. This He instructs you so that you may reason.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Njoo, nitakusomea kile ambacho Mola wako amekuzuia: Msishirikishe chochote pamoja Naye, kuwa wema kwa wazazi, msimwue watoto wenu kwa sababu ya umasikini—Sisi tutawapa riziki ninyi na wao—msikaribie maovu, yaliyo wazi au yaliyo fichika, wala msimwue nafsi ambayo Allah amekuzuia isipokuwa kwa haki. Hii Amewaamuru ili mtumie akili.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 152, "arabic": "وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ مَالَ ٱلْيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ ۖ وَأَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَٱعْدِلُوا۟ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۖ وَبِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْفُوا۟ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ", "english": "And do not approach the property of the orphan except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity; and give full measure and weight with justice. We do not burden any soul except according to its capacity. And when you speak, be just, even if it concerns a relative, and fulfill the covenant of Allah. This He instructs you so that you may remember.", "kiswahili": "Msikaribie mali ya yatima isipokuwa kwa njia bora hadi afikie ukomavu; na mtolee kipimo na uzani kwa haki. Sisi hatumwajibu nafsi yoyote zaidi ya uwezo wake. Na unaposema, kuwa wa haki, hata ikiwa ni mtu wa karibu, na timiliza ahadi ya Allah. Hii Amewaamuru ili mkumbuke." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 153, "arabic": "وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطِى مُسْتَقِيمًۭا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ", "english": "And indeed, this is My straight path, so follow it and do not follow other paths that would separate you from His way. This He instructs you so that you may be mindful.", "kiswahili": "Na hakika, hii ndiyo njia yangu iliyo nyooka, fuateni, na msifuatilie njia nyingine ambazo zitawagawanya kutoka kwenye Njia Yake. Hii Amewaamuru ili mtimize taqwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 154, "arabic": "ثُمَّ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ وَتَفْصِيلًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ", "english": "Then We gave Moses the Book complete, explaining all things, as guidance and mercy, so that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.", "kiswahili": "Kisha Tukampa Musa Kitabu kikamilifu, kilichofafanua kila kitu, kuwa mwongozo na rehema, ili wapate kuamini katika kukutana na Mola wao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 155, "arabic": "وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكٌۭ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ", "english": "And this is a Book which We have revealed, blessed, so follow it and be mindful of Allah that you may receive mercy.", "kiswahili": "Na hili ni Kitabu ambacho Tumechukulia na kuushusha, kilicho barikiwa; fuateni na mtii Allah ili mpate rehema." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 156, "arabic": "أَن تَقُولُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمْ لَغَـٰفِلِينَ", "english": "So that you do not say, 'The Book was sent down only on two groups before us, and we were unaware of their study.'", "kiswahili": "Ili msisema: 'Kitabu kilishushwa tu kwa makundi mawili kabla yetu, na tulikuwa hatukujua kuhusu masomo yao.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 157, "arabic": "أَوْ تَقُولُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمْ ۚ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بَيِّنَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا ۗ سَنَجْزِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْدِفُونَ", "english": "Or so you do not say, 'If only the Book had been sent down to us, we would have been better guided than they.' But indeed, clear evidence has come to you from your Lord, guidance and mercy. So who is more unjust than one who denies Allah’s signs and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our signs with a severe punishment for their evasion.", "kiswahili": "Au ili msisema: 'Iwapo Kitabu kingetushushwa, tungekuwa waongofu zaidi kuliko wao.' Lakini hakika, ushahidi wazi umekuja kwenu kutoka kwa Mola wenu, kuwa mwongozo na rehema. Ni nani mwenye dhuluma zaidi kuliko yule anaye kataa Ishara za Allah na kugeukia mbali? Tutawalipa wale wanao geukia mbali na Ishara Zetu kwa adhabu kubwa kwa sababu ya kupotea kwao." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 158, "arabic": "هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ بَعْضُ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّكَ ۗ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى بَعْضُ ءَايَـٰتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَـٰنُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ ءَامَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِىٓ إِيمَـٰنِهَا خَيْرًۭا ۗ قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ", "english": "Do they await anything other than that the angels should come to them, or your Lord should come, or some signs of your Lord should come? On the day when some signs of your Lord come, no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or earned good through its faith. Say, 'Wait, indeed we are waiting.'", "kiswahili": "Je, wanangojea chochote isipokuwa malaika wawaje kwao, au Mola wako aje, au baadhi ya Ishara za Mola wako ziweze kuja? Siku ambayo baadhi ya Ishara za Mola wako zitakuja, hapana nafsi itakayefaidi kwa Imani yake ikiwa haikuamini hapo awali au haikupata mema kupitia Imani yake. Sema: 'Subiri, hakika sisi tunasubiri.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 159, "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعًۭا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ", "english": "Indeed, those who divide their religion and become sects—you have no part in them. Their matter is only with Allah; then He will inform them of what they used to do.", "kiswahili": "Hakika, wale wanaogawa dini yao na kuwa makundi—huna sehemu kati yao. Hali yao ni kwa Allah peke yake; kisha Atawaambia walichokuwa wakifanya." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 160, "arabic": "مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا ۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ", "english": "Whoever brings a good deed will have ten times its like, and whoever brings an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like of it; and they will not be wronged.", "kiswahili": "Yeye anayefanya tendo jema atapata mara kumi kama lile, na yule anayefanya tendo baya hatapewa isipokuwa sawia na hilo; wala hawata dhulumiwa." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 161, "arabic": "قُلْ إِنَّنِى هَدَىٰنِى رَبِّىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ دِينًۭا قِيَمًۭا مِّلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, a right religion—the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth—and he was not of the polytheists.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Hakika Mola wangu ameniongoza kwenye njia iliyo sawa, dini nyayo—njia ya Ibrahimu, aliyekuwa Mwenye Hakika—na hakuwahi kuwa miongoni mwa washirikina.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 162, "arabic": "قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحْيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ", "english": "Say, 'Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Hakika sala yangu, ibada zangu za dhabihu, maisha yangu na kifo changu ni kwa ajili ya Allah, Mola wa walimwengu.'" }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 163, "arabic": "لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُۥ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ", "english": "He has no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.", "kiswahili": "Hana mshirika. Na hivyo nimeridhiwa, nami mimi ndiye wa kwanza kati ya Waislamu." }, { "surah": 6, "ayah": 164, "arabic": "قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْغِى رَبًّۭا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ ۚ وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌۭ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ", "english": "Say, 'Should I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of everything? Every soul earns only for itself, and no bearer of burden bears the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to differ.'", "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Ningetafuta Mola mwingine isipokuwa Allah, na yeye ndiye Mola wa kila kitu? Kila nafsi hufanya tu kwa nafsi yake, wala mzigo wa mzigo haubebi mzigo wa mwingine.
